Nice service, super tasty home cooking, top prices, always happy

We were a group of 10 people. Reservation worked, the store was well attended. Waitress was quick, although a bit reserved - you didn't feel really welcome. The food, especially the Braumeisterschnitzel, was subpar and simply too small for the price of 16.50 euros. The other orders, including meat loaf, were overcooked and dry. This store does not invite you to come back. Guests who are in Magdeburg for the first time should definitely stop somewhere else, because the city has much more to offer. Too bad!

Good food and drinks and friendly staff

The steak was good so far. Only the price/performance ratio leaves something to be desired. Too expensive for the portion. Add some wave fries and some salad with a touch of dressing.

I come from Nuremberg and am of course familiar with Tucher beer. Great on tap, nice foam, no off flavors. Plus old German corner pub romance and the opportunity for a chat with the landlady and landlady. That's where the tavern's heart opens. The mixed beer drinks are wild but surprisingly delicious. We don't have that, and that's one reason to come back.

We were there with 14 people and had already registered a week in advance. The guest room is beautifully done. The service was very, very unfriendly. Yes, we had a few extra requests (not all of which were taken into account) and were quite loud, but we were just in a good mood. But most of the food wasn't that good (all the beef steaks were well-done and tough, peas weren't good, schnitzel, knuckle and ice cream were okay), a few things were delicious (Camembert in beer batter, farmer's breakfast, spiced meat, apple fritters). Portions were very different, some generous, some a bit lean. Price was okay overall. The majority of the group won't go there again simply because it wasn't as tasty and there was no pleasant atmosphere due to the unfriendliness.

I was in the restaurant for the first time on January 15th, 2025. When I read the menu I was looking forward to the 1/2 duck with kale and dumplings. Unfortunately the kale was completely overcooked and very salty. The duck was very tasty! !

We had goulash and Jägerschnitzel. Both very good. The staff attentive and quick. Price completely ok. The ambience is country house style. Clean and well maintained. Our conclusion: gladly again and recommended.

In my opinion, the food was very good. Prices for the food are very good for the city location. So I can only recommend it to anyone who likes home-style food and ambience.

The Tucher Stube seems a bit inconspicuous at first glance, but it is a really quaint shop. The staff is attentive and quick. The food is simple but tasty and inexpensive. There is also a first-class selection of really good beers, which can also be served here in beer mugs. I always enjoy coming here.

Only one waitress for the many tables meant that we couldn't order after 15m.

It was super tasty, I haven't eaten so well in a long time, especially the solyanka, it felt like home to me. The waitress was also friendly, relaxed like a landlady should be. The atmosphere is cozy and clean, as are the sanitary facilities. Gladly again

Reservation for our old gentlemen's group was easy and the first beer came quickly and was delicious. The food was tasty, but the portion size was below average. The operating staff was completely emotionless and you always had the feeling of being unwanted. When I asked for a receipt after a decent tip, the answer was that it would take time because she had other things to do. After asking again she said it would take time and she couldn't find the invoice. So folks, after 35 years in retail, I've seen it all. What's important is the effort, and the guests can tell whether you're making an effort or just don't feel like it. I was annoyed that I also gave a tip.

We had a good home-style meal here this evening. It was delicious and the beer was very refreshing.

Open according to the internet. But we're closed because of vacation. You could show it off on the internet. Not good.

The tavern turned out to be defective in several respects. The servants were consistently rude and had a sullen expression, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere. While the main course was of satisfactory quality, the dessert left a lot to be desired. The general atmosphere in the establishment was permeated with such melancholy that it was more reminiscent of a funeral than a hospitable house. Meanwhile, in the privy room we saw a cute picture that truly refreshed us. There was also a condom dispenser in the privy, which was unfortunately out of service, presumably because the establishment had already been sufficiently desecrated.

Delicious beer from Pilsbier to Kellerbier and dark beer. It's worth a visit

This restaurant was recommended to us by the hotel for eating asparagus. After entering the rather musty restaurant, we were punished with complete disregard. We sat down at one of the many free tables and watched the waitress playing around with her cell phone for a good 5 minutes. After clearing her throat and talking a little louder, there was still no reaction from her. We then got up and went to the Italian restaurant next door. We can now recommend this with a clear conscience.

You are in good hands in the Tucher Stube. The service is nice and attentive. The price-performance ratio is right.

Great service, delicious dishes

We were there spontaneously on a Saturday lunchtime and, despite many reservations, we were lucky to get a table for two! The food was very tasty and the service was super friendly and attentive! The seasoned meat is absolutely delicious! We will definitely come back next time we visit Magdeburg :)

We stopped here for lunch. All the seats outside were free and we sat down at table 10. The waitress came out and we immediately had the impression that we weren't welcome. The menus were brought to us without eye contact and we asked what drinks we wanted. The query about food preferences was also processed without eye contact. We had spritzers to drink. If you like non-carbonated drinks, you'll get your money's worth here. We also ordered ketchup with the meatloaf. The blob cost 50 cents. Clearing up and paying also took place in the usual cool manner. If you can tolerate a distant and cool atmosphere, this is the place for you. In the restaurant, someone worshiped Dick and Stupid. Luckily, tastes are different.

We spontaneously stopped in for lunch with a larger group. After the initial hectic service, it took some time until everyone had their food. The portions were manageable and the dishes were nothing special.

We were visiting Magdeburg during the Easter holidays and had dinner in the Tucher Stube one evening. The ambience is dignified, not quite as nice as in Franconia (the Tucher brewery comes from Nuremberg), but it's okay. There were five of us, the waitress alone in a well-filled dining room. She was hardworking, but could hardly do it alone. Maybe it was a short-term staff shortage, two service staff would have been better that evening. Unfortunately, as an innkeeper you don't always know exactly how full the restaurant will be in the evening. The selection of drinks is good, the beers are delicious. The menu is full of Franconian specialties, of course I ordered the Schäuferla, which tasted delicious, but unfortunately it didn't come with a nice crust. The others were also satisfied with their food, although our children (14 and 17 years old) were not satisfied with their goulash. When they then reordered the farmer's breakfast and asked them to divide it into two plates, the kitchen didn't hesitate and produced two full portions, but of course only charged for one. That was very friendly. The food came very quickly, so the kitchen is very well prepared and organized. Conclusion: We can highly recommend the Tucher Stube in Magdeburg. You will have a lovely evening there.

Das Essen sah ganz gut aus, war aber nur einigermaßen ok. Hauptsächlich Convenience, undefinierbare Champignons, Erbsen aus der Dose, Fertigkroketten, insgesamt sehr schlecht gewürzt. Das Ganze wurde abgerundet von einer griesgrämigen Bedienung. Fazit: nein Danke.

QUESTION: Is BRUNHILDE still THERE?

The service was very friendly but the food was an absolute disaster. A baked pork knuckle was ordered which turned out to be something limp, steamed and unseasoned. If you had ordered a cat that had been run over, it probably wouldn't have made a difference. Tucher Stube is therefore not recommended. Thanks

Had a Braumeister schnitzel with croquettes and peas. For 16.50 euros it was very clear, at first I thought it was a small greeting from the kitchen. Furthermore, no brilliant performance from the cook, no salad on the plate, nothing. Every canteen is better and cheaper.

A small, quaint restaurant with friendly service. Food also came very quickly, despite the fact that it was well attended. Price-performance ratio is OK. The food was very tasteful.

Service Super, Essen, Kroketten 4 Stück, etwas wenig, Cordonbleu, man konnte es essen. Preise, wie in Weltmetropolen. Alles in allem mit Wohlwollen 4 Sterne.

Unser Abendessen, Jägerschnitzel mit Pilz- Rahmsoße und Bratkartoffeln war sehr schmackhaft „ Wie bei Muttern essen“ . Die Bedienung, Service, Sauberkeit WC und Ambiente haben die vergebenen Sterne verdient. Das Angebot im Restaurant ist vielseitig, mit gut bürgerliche Küche und für jeden Gast etwas dabei. Das Preis - Leitungsverhältnis stimmt. Wir waren das 1. Mal dort und kommen gerne wieder. Dankeschön.

Wir hatten diese Woche mal wieder unser jährliches, traditionelles Gänse-Essen im Kollegenkreis. Es war wieder fantastisch! Das Essen war hervorragend - traditionell zubereitet, sprich: "Futtern wie bei Muttern"! Vielen Dank auch an das Team, dass sich trotz gut besuchter Lokalität schnell und aufmerksam gekümmert hat. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gern wieder!

Gute Hausmannskost, nicht überragend, aber hat geschmeckt. Es waren gerade Grünkohltage mit vielen Gerichten, für den, der es mag, sicher eine Empfehlung. Es gibt allerdings keine vegetarischen Gerichte.

Eine der wenigen urigen Altstadt-Kneipen mit ebenso urigen Speisen in außerordentlich großer Vielfalt und Güte (man spürt das Regiment einer gestandenen Köchin!) bei tollem Service! Einfach ein Ort zum Auftanken für Körper und Geist - sowohl zur Mittagszeit als auch in den Abendstunden!

Eine Kneipe eben - früher wurde noch geraucht - heute viel besser. Das Essen ist zwar relativ günstig aber geschmacklich ist noch Luft nach oben.

War in den 80ern meine Stammkneipe.

An einem heißen Samstag Nachmittag wollten wir im Außenbereich der Tucher Stube Platz nehmen aber mussten echt kurz warten bis ein Tisch frei wurde. Die eine Bedienung war sehr freundlich und gesprächig und die andere eher ein bissel versteinert. Als wir einem Platz bekamen bestellten wir unsere Getränke und was zu Essen. Andere Gäste die nach uns kamen bekamen mittlerweile schon ihr Essen und ich wollte gerade mal nachfragen da kam die Kellnerin an unseren Tisch und fragte uns was wir denn zu Essen bestellt hätten. Es schien als hätte man uns vergessen. Aber irgendwann kamen auch die bestellten Gerichte. Braumeisterschnitzel und gebratener Leberkäse. Das Essen war gut. Zur Toilette geht's runter in den Keller, also nichts für Rollstuhlfahrer. Die Inneneinrichtung ist rustikal wie es sich für eine Stube gehört.

Sehr nette Bedienung die sehr viel Spaß an ihrer Arbeit hat. Wir waren zu 8 und bekamen nirgendwo in einer Gaststätte Platz. Hier waren sie sofort bemüht, stellten Tische zusammen und boten uns einen tollen Service. Wo findet man so etwas noch... .Sehr zu empfehlen :)

Echoing some previous comments, one of the worst service I have ever experienced. It's as if they don't want you there. Schnitzel and beers are not bad.

The food was just ok, the service was rude and not English speaking. We could not pay with card and I had to walk ten minutes to find an atm.

Trotz später Stunde und langem Tag war der Service sehr freundlich und schnell. Kommen gerne wieder.

Wir haben dieses urige Lokal zufällig entdeckt und wurden sehr positiv überrascht. Die Speisekarte bietet eine große Auswahl deutscher Gerichte, die Auswahl fällt schwer. Wir waren zu 4 Personen, hatten alle unterschiedliche Essen und waren alle sehr zufrieden. Preis -Leistung ist Topp. 2 Gerichte, 2 Getränke, ca 40 Euro, Topp 👍 Einziges "Manko", 😉😉, viiiiel zu weit weg von Leipzig, sonst wären wir Stammgäste. Einen kleinen Punkt Abzug gibt es für unsaubere Toiletten, aber das ist ja eher auf das Verhalten mancher Gäste zurück zu führen.

Leckeres Essen, Personal zu uns nicht sehr freundlich.

Ich betrat um 20.30 Uhr das Restaurant. Die Küche schliesst, bekam ich gleich unfreundlich entgegen geworfen. Auf der Webseite steht Küche bis 21 Uhr und geöffnet bis 22 Uhr. Gnädigerweise durfte ich doch noch etwas bestellen, was mir ca. 10 Min. später lieblos serviert wurde. Ein paar Dosenerbsen, 5 Fertigkroketten und ein nicht richtig definierbares Stück Fleisch. Die Bedienung erkundigte sich zwar, ob das Essen OK sei. auf meine Antwort, dass es nur sehr mittelmäßig sei, kam nur ein kurzes Aha. Kurz vor 21.30 Uhr wurde mir von der unfreundlichen Bedienung gesagt, sie wollen jetzt schliessen, obwohl die Öffnungszeit bis 22 Uhr angegeben war. Ich war mit meinem Getränk noch nicht fertig, ging aber doch gleich, weil die Umgebung nicht zum weiteren Verweilen einlud. Fazit: Nie wieder

I usually photograph our food for reviews but not here. I was so taken back by the grumpy waitress; I just wanted to eat and get out of the restaurant. The food was good but not good enough to put up with her attitude or return or recommend the restaurant.

Gut bürgerliche Küche.. Bedienung sehr freundlich. Essen war absolut top und preislich absolut im Rahmen. Ist ein uriges Restaurant. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Essen schmeckt gut. Draußen sitzt man, wenn man Pech hat, direkt auf dem Gehweg ohne Abtrennung. Und da kommen viele Fußgänger vorbei.

Erst dachte ich super, interessante Speisekarte und moderate Preise. Wollten drinnen sitzen, aber man verwies uns nach draußen. Dann die Speisekarten auf den Tisch und sofort nach Getränken gefragt.... wir schauen erstmal.....1 Minute später....was darfst zu trinken sein?.....wir wollten nicht unhöflich sein und haben schnell Getränke gewählt.....dann das Essen! Der Fisch versalzen, 2.5 Kartoffeln (Stück nicht Kilo), ein wenig Salat aus der Dose! Der Gulasch 5-8 Fleischstückchen, 2 Klöschen, komisch schmeckender Rotkohl und bei beiden Gerichte mit viel Soße damit der Teller bedeckt war. Der Fisch liegt schwer im Magen.....satt geworden sind wir nicht obwohl wir nicht so die "viel Esser" sind...... Fazit eine Erfahrung die nur einmal sein muss! Wir wollten besser essen als auf dem Stadtfest....Der Schuss ging nach hinten los. Getränke waren allerdings okay.

Noch ganz friedliche Preise und das Essen schmeckt sehr gut. Kann man empfehlen.

Es ist immer wieder ein Genuss dort essen zu gehen.
