We reserved a table today for my husband's birthday. When we met there today, everything was dark and there was a note on the door: CLOSED TODAY. This was a bad birthday surprise for my husband. 😠
Luckily we got a table at another restaurant at short notice. That wasn't so easy because there were 8 of us. I wouldn't recommend the Amalfi after this disaster.
In general, yes, but for someone who is not healthy the chairs, which are really rock hard, are very uncomfortable. I still have problems with my back. I found the food very tasty and sufficient for me, but my friends thought their portion was a bit tiny, or at least they thought so. The waitresses are totally friendly and nice.
So I would like to go there again, especially since my young dog was welcome, but unfortunately my back is still healing for now.
So great...we had breakfast today for our mouse's birthday...not only was there a piece of cake on the house with a candle, the food and service there were great😀😃
First there was beer on the jacket and then the wrong beer on the table. Afterwards, one of the simplest dishes on the menu - Chop Suey - took over three quarters of an hour while other guests left and right ordered, were served and even consumed much more elaborate dishes. And then unfortunately it wasn't even good, it was just run-of-the-mill boring and slightly slimy, so I couldn't quite get down to it. It's a shame about the ambience. Maybe the Monday troops were there, who knows.
Addendum: The next day I notice that there was definitely something bad about the food. Ugh.
The staff are always very friendly and relatively quick when taking orders and bringing the food.
The fairytale-like ambiance is something different.
The prices are a bit on the higher side.
The food tastes good, but it's still not the best burger joint.
Was really good for the first visit. Pretty authentic and friendly staff. Sat outside, unfortunately right next to the smoking island, pretty stupid solution and where the hell are the wet wipes for finger food? Otherwise everything is chic, especially the stylish toilets.
It was very comfortable and the staff was also super nice
Unfortunately the drinks took a really long time and my burger buns were not so soft but dry and fragile...
Very nice quiet location. We were at the university hospital and wanted to grab a quick bite to eat on the way back.
Unfortunately no card payment was possible. Cash or Paypal only.
Paypal charges a fee of 0.50 euros, but this doesn't even appear on the invoice and is only mentioned verbally when paying. There is also no indication on the card that Paypal charges a fee. Very unfortunate and not very professional. Therefore 2 stars deducted
Food and service were otherwise top.
The murder mystery dinner was a gift that was very well received! The food was delicious, well-seasoned, and plenty to fill you up! The murder mystery was both exciting and funny! Highly recommended!
A few months ago, and a review for the stand on the market square:
I was out and about and wanted a currywurst because I suddenly felt dizzy (hypoglycemia) and couldn't look for another shop. I was 15 cents short and asked the waitress if the sausage could be sold without a roll. I was left standing there stone cold and not served. Don't worry be curry Employees are really lacking in empathy. I drove home with the last of my strength. I never ate at the stand again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone else.
