Great service, delicious food! We arrived 40 minutes before our reservation because our child was hungry! Despite the restaurant being full, we were seated immediately. Simply fantastic!

Everything was great. Friendly, clean, and very tasty.

There were eight of us. The food didn't arrive for over an hour after we ordered. One burger arrived complete, even though we had ordered it without cheese and sauce. The second one also had cheese on it. Only the third one was as ordered. One of us then had to eat after everyone else. We received the wrong fries once, and sparkling water instead of still water. Another person received their dessert long before their main course and before everyone else. We had to wait almost 30 minutes for a second bottle of water. It only arrived after we asked twice, and then it was the wrong size. Everyone enjoyed the food itself.

The atmosphere is really lovely. Unfortunately, we waited three-quarters of an hour for our food. With two children, that's quite a long time for burgers and fries. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The service was very friendly. I can recommend the restaurant. On weekends, Hans im Glück is more suited to a social evening with friends, but not necessarily for families.

All in all, we weren't very impressed. The burgers arrived unusually quickly after we ordered them. It seemed like they just needed to be heated up and that was it. They looked good, but the taste was rather bland… For the price, we expected a bit more. The fries weren't anything special either. The staff wasn't very friendly and seemed rather annoyed. The ambiance itself is really lovely, but unfortunately, despite having a reservation (three days in advance), we were seated at a table with uncomfortable benches. It was also quite cold. That was our first and, for now, last visit.

It's always wonderful to visit Hans im Glück. The food is delicious, the staff are great, and the atmosphere is fantastic! 😊

A really lovely place to eat, everything is very cozy and comfortable, a place to feel at home in my opinion. The food was also delicious, it just would be better if the knives were a bit sharper, as everything fell apart. It wasn't a big deal though, the food was delicious and the staff was super friendly. Even though it was full, we didn't have to wait too long. Highly recommended!

We wanted to eat there at 2 pm today. The big lunch rush was over, and the restaurant was only moderately full. We were seated in the back. After waiting for 25 minutes, I repeatedly tried to signal to the waitress that we would like to order. She nodded, indicating that she would be right there. But nothing happened. We left hungry. We've been there so many times before, but the service has gotten worse with each visit. Today was definitely our last visit.

Burgers can't be ordered medium; they're frozen. Way too many vegan and vegetarian options. The service is terrible. Regular customers feel completely out of place.

It was so delicious! You can put everything together however you like; it might take a little while, but it's totally worth it! Delicious burgers, fries, and chips. And to top it all off, everyone got dessert, which was absolutely perfect. Everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful.

We had lunch here in October 2025 with our dog. We were immediately given a quiet table in the back of the restaurant, and water was provided for the dog without us even asking. The food, service, speed, and attentiveness were simply excellent. The location is also very central, just around the corner from the trading house. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

We were able to call an hour in advance and make a lunchtime reservation. When we arrived with our dog, we were offered a large table in a corner and a water bowl. Our order was also served very quickly.

Soooo, how do I get my say? Let's just start... I made a table reservation for my girlfriend and me from 8:00 PM to 10:00 PM over the phone. The conversation on the phone was flawless. 👍🏼 We arrived, the reception was great and pleasant. We were shown to our table and then we looked at the menu. Selection = top-notch!!! 🙏🏼😋 My girlfriend ordered her food and then I ordered mine. My order: Triple Smash Burger (3x beef & 3x cheese) with a fried egg and avocado cream... filling and delicious 🤤🙏🏼 As a side, I had sweet potato fries, mild and very tasty 😇👍🏼 And my absolute highlight: the "Freudentaumel" cocktail (strawberry, lemon, honey syrup, ginger ale, and thyme). AWESOME DRINK EVER!!! 😍😍😍 And yet, I'd like to give some personal feedback on our waiter, David. He has a super friendly and open demeanor, answers all questions, and takes care of his customers like a champion. And I don't say that often!!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 That's NOT to say that the rest of the staff isn't good. After all, you have to be able to do it. 😉😁 I would like to thank him from the bottom of my heart, and I hope he stays there for a while, because you don't find a waiter as good as him very often anymore. Very pleasant evening with delicious food

We ate there again after a long time. It used to be Diebels, now it's Hans im Glück. The Burger (smash single with bacon and cheese) and fries (garlic fries with cheese) were amazing. But unfortunately, I have to say the nuggets were awful (vegan nuggets). The kids absolutely didn't eat them, and we tried them, but well, we can't go back. Never again. No go. Please come up with something and offer others, that might be a good measure. Otherwise, you can't complain.

I've been there a few times with friends and family, and everything's always good. The food is always as expected, the service is super friendly, and the atmosphere is incredibly inviting. There are also tons of burger options, so you can have beef or chicken patties, as well as a variety of vegetarian or vegan patties. In addition to the standard brioche bun, they also offer multigrain and gluten-free options, which makes the restaurant even more appealing for someone with a gluten-intolerant family member. I will definitely eat there a few more times.

First of all, it looks very good... But that's about it. The waitress only spoke broken German, which made ordering extremely difficult... Then you had to clarify who was ordering a menu, because for those people, the drink had to be ordered first, and then the menus (ordering for 5 people took almost 10 minutes, as everything was recorded using a cell phone, which only partially worked) and then nothing for 45 minutes... The drinks were already gone when three fries and two burgers finally arrived... And cold, too... What a disgrace! After we pointed out that the food was cold, all we got was a tired shrug... Never again to this chain... The service is terrible. PS: If you have a gluten allergy, you can order gluten-free food (also labeled "gluten-free" in the restaurant) for an additional €1.90!! Fraud and rip-off for the disadvantaged

Such a beautiful place, very unique. There's love in the details. The first time I looked into the restaurant, I was enchanted. The service was super friendly, answered our questions and explained things to us, as it was our first time there. The food was also great; you just couldn't decide between the burgers and the like. The cheese fries were amazing. I really have to say a lot of praise, I'd love to come back.

It was a celebration again. Three of us went on a Sunday and got a table right away. I recommend the avocado fries and the "Imposter" burger. Everything was great.

Since I had to wait an hour for my food and the chicken was tough as shoe leather, I only give the food three stars.

After waiting 1.5 hours for the food, I paid and left. Zero service in between, just left sitting until they said it was enough. After several inquiries and answers like it would only take another 10 minutes, it was enough. If it's busy, you'll understand if they tell you right from the start that it will take longer, and you never get any information, hence this review.

We have been before to this restaurant and liked it a lot, so we went back a year later but it ended badly with my husband in hospital for several days due to a food poisoning caused by undercooked chicken or poor food hygiene. The hospital asked us to inform the restaurant which is what we did. The lady on the phone felt sorry for my husband but stated that the grill times for chicken breasts are automatically set and the varying thickness of the meat means that it may not be evenly cooked through. I asked her to pass on my phone number and email address to the management as someone older or someone with a less sturdy constitution as my husband could potentially die from such a horrible food poisoning. This was a month ago! We still haven't heard back from Halle and we don't think people are safe to eat there reading plenty of other people's comments about diarrhoea after eating here.

We were out with a girlfriend today around 5:00 PM and wanted to eat. We entered "Hans." The restaurant was almost completely empty. We still asked at the entrance if there were any free seats. A waitress led us to a not-so-good table by the window in the sun. We asked if all the other tables were reserved. She denied it, but said we didn't want to open all areas. This absurdity is beyond comprehension. I don't even want to hear about an alleged "entrepreneurial concept." I assume that "Hans" is doing so well financially that guests are simply no longer welcome there. Perhaps they should consider another industry that involves less human contact. In any case, Germany is not a service-oriented country, so they don't have high expectations. Of course, we left because they simply don't want to tolerate this pervasive lack of pretension in the restaurant industry.

A nice restaurant with good food. Our order arrived quickly. The staff was friendly and helpful. Requests for changes to the toppings on the burgers were easily accommodated. Despite being at full capacity, we had to wait a bit longer to pay the bill. (We wanted to pay in cash, so we didn't use the QR code at the table.) The ambiance is very nice and modern, but the tables are a bit small and too close together, so it can get a bit cramped if you come with several people. It's still worth a visit.
