Brot & Rind in Halle (Saale)

The burgers from Brot&Rind are really recommendable. Always fresh and nice selection. But I would advise everyone, if possible, to choose the store on Berliner Str. The restaurant on Steinstrasse never manages to get an order out correctly. If you wish there was no tomato, the burger comes with tomato. If you choose 3 sauces, 2 sauces are wrong. Instead of the sauces, which also cost extra, we were now given free mayonnaise, it's always mayonnaise and I don't like mayonnaise:'D this was our fourth attempt...

Very tasty burgers and fries for a really reasonable price.

What a dirty, filthy place. The operators should be sent to the health department. The floor in the shop is oily and slippery, the windows look like they were bought as frosted glass, except that it's grease that sticks to everything. The ventilation system doesn't seem to be working properly for a long time or people are bothered by the volume when it's running and that's why it's turned off. Napkins or cloths are wedged into the edge of the hoods of the exhaust system and are apparently intended to absorb the fatty soup that floats around. Disgusting. The employees traipse out the door, treat themselves to one fag after another... there is no trace of hygiene. The burger (cheeseburger) had zero highlights. This is simply an overly soft, completely greasy, carelessly thrown together roll, with oily onions in a disgusting consistency, normal cucumbers in a limp consistency and without any bite or taste of their own. In addition, there is a meat structure that has been fried beyond recognition and is doing its best to avoid ending up in the trash can in its entirety under a slice of the cheapest cheese. If there is a symbol for the lack of economic skills of trading companies in Halle, then it is this bread and beef kit. I don't understand that the store hasn't gone bankrupt for a long time. I like to repeat myself: disgusting!

Unfortunately it was one of the worst burgers I've eaten. The bread was dry and brittle, the taste was boring and it wasn't really warm either. The fries were completely cold, and when I asked, they made “new” ones for me. However, these tasted as if they had been fried twice and were therefore unfortunately not enjoyable. I think it's great that there are vegetarian/vegan versions on offer, but it's a shame when they are prepared so carelessly...

Please be sure to include the burger of the month (October 2024) in the standard menu. It simply tastes incredibly good! I've tried a few, this is my favorite so far. Keep it up. Fries are also very tasty

Ordered on 05/20/23 One thing in advance; the food itself tasted good. I was dissatisfied with the delivery and the subsequent customer service. When the delivery arrived, the bag underneath was already soggy. I thought maybe just a little sauce had spilled out. When I looked inside, all of the sauces had actually spilled out and fries were flying around. The burgers were completely soggy and everything had to be cleaned of ketchup etc. In addition, the burgers were pretty carelessly topped, very one-sided and slightly mashed. I then called the store myself and described the case. The employee was very nice and offered us the complete delivery again or a voucher. Since we already had the food and didn't want to throw it away, we decided to get a voucher. To do this, however, I have to write an email to the restaurant. No sooner said than done. A day later a customer service called me, the man was nice. However, at the end of the conversation he didn't offer me anything, no voucher or anything. Only when I asked what would happen next did he offer me a voucher for fries. I then said that this was not at all related to the price of a completely new delivery, which we could have taken. He said that he couldn't do anything more, or that he had to address it first and then get in touch. Never heard from the store again since then. That's a shame because we really enjoyed eating there! In hindsight, I would have preferred to take the delivery again and have a nice sniff the next day. (The extent of it doesn't quite come across in the photos, especially how soggy the burgers and fries were)

The burgers delivered were completely soupy, cold and carelessly prepared. The Twister Fries were bone hard and just tasted burnt. Definitely no delivery recommendation, others will have to decide whether it tastes better locally.

I ordered from Brot & Rind for the first time, it was underground. Burger was cold and soupy, Twister fries were rock hard and not seasoned at all. Never again. It's better to go to BurgerHeart, where the price-performance ratio is right.

Really good burgers are prepared here and are among the best you can get in Germany. However, the store hardly invites you to linger, on the one hand because of its size and on the other hand because of the annoyingly loud music. So it's a takeaway shop, which is ok too. You just wish you had a little more attention when waiting. What is also incomprehensible to me given this focus: When ordering online, why can't you simply order to be picked up yourself? That would fit the concept much better.

Went to the store at 9:49 p.m. and couldn't get any more food even though it's open until 10 p.m....the employee's statement was...we're already cleaning 💪🏻👍🏻thank you

Otherwise always good, but in the last delivery the American Boy vegan was absolutely dry and the sesame roll was at least 2 days old. A pity. Edit: It's a shame how the owner responded to the review here. Because 3 years ago I gave 5 stars. However, the location is close to the Berlin Bridge. A pity.

The food was good. The staff was very nice. The shop looks nice too, but it's noisy and somehow it would be cool if there were clever seats. There is a slight deduction when it comes to eating because, in my opinion, the sweet potato fries sizzled a little too long.

Enjoyment with a little effort Today I would like to talk about an interesting place to go for burgers in Halle, namely the “Brot & Rind” branch on Halle’s Große Steinstrasse. Because many of us have long since realized that it can be worth spending a few extra euros on your burger in terms of taste. More than ten years ago I came across the “Peter Pane” burger chain in Lübeck, which at that time was only known in northern Germany. The franchise is now also spreading its fingers in central and southern Germany and is finding more and more imitators. Delicious burgers, with great side dishes in a restaurant atmosphere, cocktails, a cozy gathering with friends until late into the night. I think I stood there in front of the “Brot & Rind” in Halle with the same or similar expectations and was irritated at first. A small square shop, sober, simple but stylish “industrial look” and four delivery bikes in front of the entrance. You won't find a guest area unless you see the small counter on the right wall with five chairs as such. Instead, a really large, open kitchen area where you can look over the shoulder of the “burger roaster” while it is being prepared, as well as an inviting ordering counter that doesn’t seem overloaded. Wow, I thought. How, after the many verbal recommendations and advertising on social media, imagination and reality can diverge. I think I was expecting a cozy burger restaurant, but here I actually found a burger delivery service with a really minimalist, almost non-existent guest area. But no matter! The burgers should taste good, so hand on heart and go to the store! The chef was working on an order and couldn't be bothered. He routinely finished his burgers and then took care of me. He used the “you” as a matter of course and immediately connected with me. I found the conversation when ordering very pleasant. I ordered a “chilli cheese” burger and a passion fruit-orange spritzer and sat at the small counter and watched it being prepared. Served attractively, the burger left nothing to be desired. The beef was grilled to perfection, the cheddar cheese melted deliciously over the patty and jalapenos and all the ingredients like cucumber and tomatoes were really fresh. It's really a taste experience, I can't say it any other way! A burger was enough. The size was just right for an adult and even without side dishes like fries etc. I felt sufficiently full. So let's summarize. What is “Bread & Beef”? Very important in my opinion. Don’t expect “Peter Pane”, “Hans im Glück” or whatever they’re called. Instead, expect damn tasty burgers in an urban setting designed primarily for delivery. But this shouldn't stop you as a visitor to the city of Halle (like me) from going to this shop. Just get over yourself, pass the bikes in front of the shop and go to the Burgerbater! ;O) The staff is really pleasant and has excellent interpersonal skills. As I said, it doesn't matter whether it's the conversation when ordering or just the tiny question when leaving the restaurant whether it was tasty. It's these little things that matter and it's perfect here! There is no need to discuss the price. Quality has its price. The burgers range between €10 and €17 but they taste accordingly, are extremely filling and are also made from regional ingredients. In short, it's a treat that you might not treat yourself to every day. However, since you are in Halle, be sure to stop by Große Steinstrasse. It is worth it!

I've passed by it often, today I had time. The staff is on point, friendly and has good sayings. Burger was freshly prepared in front of us. The meat was just right, well done and juicy. The bread is ideal. Bacon crispy, very tasty braised onions. In short, since. It's been a long time since I found a decent burger. Hope it stays that way.

Unfortunately, the sesame bun was completely pale and raw, i.e. the dough wasn't cooked through, which completely destroyed the taste and consistency! Auch die Süßkartoffelpommes, trotz 12 Minuten Transportzeit. Der Ketchup lecker fruchtig. Schmeckt selbstgemacht. Das Team vor Ort freundlich und zeitlich auf die Sekunde.

Small card, which I think is very good. Price / offer: Very good. The 🍔 burgers are phenomenally delicious and the different combinations are a hit, for example. Burgers It's a shame that you can't really eat there, but there's a discount for picking them up and with heated seats I can get the burgers home warm 😊. I think the fries are great, crispy, not dry, not too thin and not over-salted. Super friendly and relaxed salespeople in both branches.

The best burgers in town and probably a couple of cities around as well. The quality the flavor the ingredients everything is top notch and above other competitors around. Please go and enjoy I've been there several times and never been dissapointed. Just don't order delivery because it comes from a different location and the difference is noticeable.

Also meine Burger und die meiner Freundin waren sehr ölig, das ganze papier war triefend nass. Keine Ahnung warum. Der eine Burger war nicht richtig durch/rosa. Mein Verbesserungsvorschlag: sich etwas mehr Zeit nehmen und sich nicht unter Druck setzen lassen. Auch wenn es 2 Min. länger dauert. Ok? So zubereiten, als wären die Burger für die eigenen Freunde.

Super nette Bedienung, durften die Teller mit nach draußen nehmen und uns ein Plätzchen zum essen suchen.

Musste eine halbe Stunde für eine Portion Pommes warten. Diese war teuer und sehr klein. Die Mitarbeiter waren auch völlig unmotiviert

War das erste mal heute bei den Jungs. Also ganz ehrlich, einer der besten Burger die ich in der Region gegessen habe. Frisch, vor unseren Augen zubereitet, besser geht es nicht. Der Geschmack war großartig, auch die Kombination der Soucen, mit den Zutaten richtig gut. Die Süßkartoffelpommes war knusprig, das gefällt mir. Und die Jungs extrem nett. Also wir kommen wieder.

Bei den Preisen erwarte ich auch gutes Fleisch, leider werden fertig Pattys verwendet und das schmeckt man auch. Salatgurken hatte ich auch noch nicht auf einem Cheeseburger. War insgesamt ziemlich enttäuscht.

The vegan burger was awesome, but to eat within the bar was not nice, due to the air.

9,50 für ein eher durchschnittlicher Cheesburger ist wirklich äußerste Preisgrenze. War echt nichts besonderes... zumal die Ambiente im Laden nicht gerade zum Ess Erlebnis beigetragen hat. Der Service war in Ordnung. Einmal für mich hat aber gereicht. Ist mir einfach viel zu teuer für das was man dann letztendlich bekommt.

Sehr leckere, frisch zubereitete und vor allem große Burger. Nicht ganz billig, aber ihren Preis wert. Auch das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Pedí la bbq bacon y estuvo muy sabrosa, los camotes ricos pero si me parecieron muy aceitosos, en general muy rico y recomendable y la hamburguesa y la porción de camotes son grandes.

Ich fand den Spezial Burger unglaublich lecker, wirklich richtig gut! Service war super und schnell. Location an sich ist zwar cool aber eben nur mal für schnell essen und los. 4 oder 5 Stühle an einem Hochtisch, mehr Platz ist eben auch nicht. Wichtig ist ja das die Burger schmecken und das Taten sie auch. 😁

Sehr guter Burgerladen. Die Pommes sind meist ein bisschen zu salzig und die Preise etwas zu hoch. Geschmacklich sind die Burger aber top.

Der Burger und die Pommes sind wirklich Top, 10/10 im Geschmack. Einen Stern ziehe ich für den Preis von saftigen 18,50€ ab, hier hab ich für vergleichbare Burger und Pommes sonst so 15-16€ gezahlt.

Es war wirklich lecker, frische Zutaten und auch der Preis ist O.K. Leider etwas ungemütlich.

Sehr lecker. Burger sind gut und Preis-Leistungen passen. Gibt für jeden etwas und wenn man Lust hat, kann man auch vor Ort essen. Mitnehmen ist möglich und mittels Webseite kann sogar geliefert werden. Nächstes mal werden die Fritten ausprobiert!

Service okay, könnte professioneller sein (kommt etwas unsicher rüber). Burger und Fries ok, kann man nicht wirklich meckern. Aber, wenn man dann so an der Wand sitzt und sich doch einmal umdreht und an die (total verdreckte) Decke schaut…. Geht gar nicht!!! Was auch nicht geht ist der ganze Qualm welchem man beim essen vor Ort ausgesetzt ist. Da riecht man schlimmer als in einem Dönerladen… Ich komme wieder und halte diese Bewertung aktuell.

Ein klasse Burgerladen, die wissen hier wirklich wie man einen ordentlichen Burger macht. Der einzige kleine Abzug ist das man an der Theke nicht so gemütlich sitzen kann. Aber wenn man Burger mag, lohn sich ein Besuch.

Zum Pommes essen kann man mal hin gehen aber den Weg auf sich nehmen für die Burger? Lohnt nicht. Mein Patty war gerade mal lauwarm und für Black-Angus echt schlecht. Coole Ideen für die Kreationen, Umsetzung aber leider schlecht.

Immer wieder eine Bestellung wert :). Die Burger und Pommes sind der Hammer und einfach nur lecker. Das Team ist freundlich und hochmotiviert. Daher geht die Lieferung immer fix und die Qualität der Speisen ist top.

Habe den Burger des Monats samt Pommes bestellt. Der Burger war überragend und für knapp 8€ super vom Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die Pommes waren leider zu salzig. Ich persönlich esse liebendgern salzig, aber das war dann doch zu viel.

Ich habe bei "Brot und Rind" ein Burger bestellt und der war so lecker, dass ich ihn als besser empfinde, als der, der vor vielen Jahren auf dem Markt verkauft wurden ist. Er ist momentan für mich eines der besten Burger, die ich in Halle gegessen habe. Ich habe bei "Brot und Rind" nichts zu kritisieren. Meine Empfehlung ist an alle: Falls ihr euch überlegt, einen Burger bei denen zu holen, dann macht ihr nichts Falsches.

Absolut leckere Burger, die allerdings vor allem vor Ort nochmal 5x so lecker schmecken!
