Very nice atmosphere, unfortunately our wheelchair-accessible reservation wasn't honored, but we did eventually get a table downstairs. Onion rings were brought out upon request, as they weren't part of the buffet. Even the small beef steaks were cooked to order. Drinks are a bit pricey, but the food is plentiful and delicious!

An interesting place with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. The buffet was somewhat confusing and complicated to navigate. I couldn't find the garlic mayonnaise for the calamari rings.

Very, very delicious food and the service is friendly. Whether during the day or in the evening, it's always worth a visit. We've been holding our annual class reunion here for years. What struck us during our last visit was that no one informed us that the buffet was about to close, and also that the restaurant closed without ordering a last round. It was odd. Perhaps the waiters should be told this. That way, they can generate even more revenue.

We went to the barbecue buffet on Friday evening. We were thrilled! The food was delicious. There was also plenty of choice for vegetarians. I should warn you about the lime buttercream dessert, it's addictive! 😅 The price of around €30 for adults and €9 for children (I think up to 13 years old) is perfectly reasonable. There's also a children's buffet with rice pudding and chicken nuggets. The service was quick and friendly. And the drinks were also very tasty. There's a separate play area for children with lots of toys. We'll definitely be back!

We were there on October 30, 2025, in a large group for the company Christmas party. The annoying part was that they didn't mention it was a buffet when we reserved the table over the phone. When we arrived, we were initially impressed by the ambiance and the waitresses' attire. However, the disappointment came quickly. I personally had to get up twice to ask for my drink. Everyone else had one, but I didn't, and eating without drinks is pointless. After 45 minutes, I finally got something. As I said, I asked twice. The food wasn't great. The beef was incredibly tough and partly raw inside, not pink at all. The pork was extremely dry, and the churros were soggy. The dips were delicious, though, so I stuck to those with my baguette. In the end, we were quite annoyed with the service. Two of my colleagues ordered drinks, time passed, and half an hour later, one of them asked about them. They were told it was a bit busy and would be right with it. Others of us ordered drinks, and they received them. My colleague asked again and was told to wait until later. Our boss then paid and led the way. Go home, we finished our drinks... the two drinks arrived after an hour, a joke... then they even had to pay for them themselves, as they were supposedly not on the bill even though they had been ordered at least 30 minutes earlier... nobody could understand it, as the manager had disappeared with the bill... all 19 people at the table agreed... never again...

The seating was very soft and inviting. I would definitely recommend the restaurant. My only criticism concerns the menu—it wasn't available, or I couldn't find it. When it comes to food, there are big differences between the individual locations.

I went to the buffet at Espitas Halle and was unfortunately rather disappointed. The selection was quite limited, especially compared to other restaurants in this price range. For the rather high price, I would have expected significantly more variety and quality. The food tasted only average; nothing that really stood out or seemed particularly fresh. Overall, not good value for money—tried it once, but not a restaurant I would visit again.

So, reading the reviews, I must have been there on the wrong day. Or it was a different restaurant. The service was good and really very friendly. But the food was awful. Cold, unseasoned, the meat was cooked to death, you couldn't even get a knife through it. I could still taste the fish the next morning. Fried vegetables with no seasoning. All in all, rather unsatisfactory. The cleanliness of the buffet wasn't great either. The dip glasses were smeared. Some of the rugs already had a crust on them, and that was shortly after the buffet had opened. Maybe the à la carte food is better, but we won't subject ourselves to the buffet again. Especially since the price of 28.90 per person is pretty steep. For quality like that.

So the service needs to be improved. It was empty, yet the staff seemed overwhelmed. Some things were forgotten, but were brought back later, including rude replies...unnecessary.

As a fan of many restaurants, this was another point that was far from the truth. When I go to a Mexican restaurant, I assume they understand my language. But in the end, they're all German. I politely asked if they spoke Spanish, but no one knew. So it's better to say the name of the restaurant in German.

We went to Espitas for brunch today after a long time and were very disappointed. The variety of dishes has changed for the worse. For example, with the rice and salmon, you had to hunt for the salmon. The only meat available was pork ribs. I missed the chicken pieces. Some of the plates (I actually had to put three back) were already greasy, as if they hadn't been cleaned. There was still green residue stuck to one knife. The iced tea garnish consisted of a piece of pineapple that already looked disgusting. It was all unacceptable. The service was very friendly, but that's not enough. We won't be going back anytime soon. I think you're still well served with three stars.

I ate there last Sunday evening and was extremely disappointed. We ate there that evening and honestly had no idea which dish to order from the menu. Another negative aspect was that the selection of dishes was very limited, but I ordered tacos, which I didn't like at all. Regarding the tacos, I criticized the crumbly, especially dry, and almost tasteless "dough," which tasted like old chips. We were also a bit disappointed when we were told that dishes like chili con carne and the taco sauce weren't spicy at all—quite the opposite. The service was STILL adequate, and it took a very long time for our drinks to arrive at our table. In conclusion: Unfortunately, I was not satisfied with the dinner experience and wish you could expand the selection of dishes on the menu and offer guests more choice. I would also like to reduce the spiciness of some dishes. It would also be advisable to offer an all-you-can-eat dinner buffet, like the breakfast buffet, so that everyone is satisfied. I was barely full from the small mini tacos with mini fillings and had to eat dinner again at home. As an experienced Google reviewer, I have experienced a lot and would like that They also adapt to my ideas so that a good rating, like at the breakfast buffet, ensures that guests are reasonably full and possibly leave a good Google review afterwards. This is exactly why I would request that an all-you-can-eat buffet be offered for dinner. Unfortunately, there were also many Google reviews for dinner a few months ago that also gave bad ratings. The cocktails are watery. I ordered a Morito and a Sex on the Beach with alcohol. Alcohol. It was a complete joke. Not a trace of alcohol. Far too many ice cubes. The Sex on the Beach tasted only of orange juice and canberry juice. I pointed out to the staff several times that the drinks weren't okay. Unfortunately, they showed no insight. We paid €300 for this poor service. That's called service, ridiculous. Not a recommendation. Unfortunately, what your staff said is untrue. No new cocktails were offered. The staff member smelled my cocktail and said it smelled of peach liqueur. Nothing more. It's a shame for such a lack of insight.

We were here at the weekend to eat at the buffet. The ambiance was impressive, and the service was quite okay. However, the buffet, for a hefty €27.50, leaves a lot to be desired in every way. First of all, the selection is really very small. That wouldn't even be a problem if the food tasted good. But it doesn't. Most of it is cold and tasteless. The dessert stand wasn't refilled once in the 1.5 hours we were there. That means that for €27.50, we didn't even get a dessert. Well, that's not entirely true; there were a few pre-made donuts. You could really save the money...

It was our first time eating there. We received a friendly welcome and were shown to a table. After five minutes, our drink order was taken, and our menus were brought to us. Our drinks arrived very quickly, and our food was served. The food arrived 15 minutes later. The food was very good. The spare ribs and prime short rib fell off the bone. The enchiladas were also very good. The plates and dishes were hot and very well seasoned. We also had the barbecue dip and the cilantro aioli, which were also very tasty and homemade. We will definitely eat there again.

We had reserved a table online for 8 people on June 29, 2025, at 8 p.m., specifying a large table. We arrived on time and were offered an outdoor table in direct sunlight, without a parasol or anything similar. We asked for a table inside the restaurant and were given a table for 6 with the reply, "I don't have a bigger one." Since the restaurant was almost empty, we added a small table to the table for 6. Luckily, the drink menus were already on the table, so we were able to write down our drinks on a piece of paper ourselves. The waitress came about half an hour later and brought us the menus and took our drink orders (it took another half hour for the drinks to arrive at our table). We then placed our food orders one by one. I had mozzarella sticks for starters, and rump steak, twister, and corn on the cob for main courses. My rump steak arrived as an appetizer, and the twisters and corn on the cob arrived about half an hour later, with the response: "The kitchen overlooked it." Of course, I had already eaten my meat. Then I left the twisters. Two of our family members' entire food orders were served incorrectly. Whether this was a server error or the kitchen's was not communicated to us. We also only received our next drinks upon request. Since the two food orders had to be redone, meaning we didn't arrive at our table until 9:30 p.m., we were immediately informed that this was the last round of drinks, as they close at 10 p.m. This was my third visit to this restaurant. The first two weren't good due to long waits and unfriendly service. I thought all good things come in threes and tried again, but unfortunately, it was disappointing again. Thus, this was also my last visit to Espitas in Halle.

We ordered food. The selection was disappointing and extremely limited. The food arrived practically cold, which wasn't the driver's fault. (He arrived 10-15 minutes after departure, which is perfectly acceptable for the distance.) My wife's main course was very small for €17.90. The filling in the enchiladas (€19.90) was unappealing. I was still hungry but couldn't finish it because I simply didn't want any more. The beans were just a dry mush. We opened the rest of the enchiladas, and the chicken inside was the same shaped pieces you get in the disappointing salads at the supermarket. The browning on the chicken pieces definitely didn't come from frying. The kids' nuggets were frozen nuggets from a bulk pack. You quickly got the feeling that many of the ingredients were bought from the frozen food store around the corner (the temperature of the dishes also suggested this). For that price, we would have preferred to eat at a good restaurant downtown.

Everything was great, staff very friendly

An all-around great restaurant. There were two of us there, and we were always served quickly. We were asked several times if we needed anything else. The food was delicious. I was particularly impressed by the long list of non-alcoholic cocktails.

We were there spontaneously and regretted our visit towards the evening. As soon as we arrived we noticed an unpleasant smell coming from the toilets. We also had ants on our table - which was very unappetizing. Everyone in our group agreed that it wasn't value for money. We only ordered Coke and had to wait a whole 20 minutes - even though they were only bottles that you simply have to unscrew the cap on. Two people in our group didn't want to eat, just something to drink. Nevertheless, they were later accused of eating - we found that really outrageous. One thing is certain for us: we won't be coming back.

Good and rich buffet for brunch

We were really surprised, how can you be so arrogant and rude to customers. Where we came, the restaurant was almost 30% full, even then we were asked if we had reserved a table (which is fine), but we had the impression that it was now a huge problem. Then we said that we just wanted to eat coffee and cake, and we wanted to order something small for the children, and we were told: "We don't care about coffee and cake, we have a menu" (Whaatt???). And of course the menu included coffee and cake. Then you couldn't order everything at once. Definitely, never again and I don't recommend it to anyone

Service desert After two previous, averagely pleasant experiences, I went there yesterday with my 9-year-old son at his request. Ordering the drinks went quickly. Taking the order for the food took a little more time. 45 minutes later there was no sign of the food and the order for a second drink was obviously not forwarded. After staying for over an hour without seeing or hearing anything about our food, I told the waitress that we wouldn't be waiting any longer. She then ran away without a word to go to the kitchen to let her know. My son and I waited at the exit for a few minutes to pay for the drinks we received. The waitress appeared completely unaffected. She asked succinctly, “Card or cash?” No questions asked, no excuses. No expression of regret. She turned around without a word and didn't even say goodbye. The quality of the service can only be described as subterranean. The employee was obviously completely unmotivated and showed no interest in the well-being of her customers. I will strongly advise friends, acquaintances and colleagues not to visit Espitas in the future.

Drinking was only delivered after repeated requests. The buffet is small and the waiters are unwelcoming.

For brunch and also great for other events

Today we went to the buffet in Espitas with the family for the first time and I can/have to say the ambience was simply fantastic and wonderfully decorated. The parking situation was also more than sufficient. However, two of the dishes were declared to be vegetarian, but once with minced meat and once with chicken, this was also confirmed by the service staff when asked and some of the dishes in the buffet were unfortunately only lukewarm. The drinks however were really good. However, the employees unfortunately made a very listless impression (consistently "pulled a rag") when you gave them the dishes, no thanks.

Was really good for the first visit. Pretty authentic and friendly staff. Sat outside, unfortunately right next to the smoking island, pretty stupid solution and where the hell are the wet wipes for finger food? Otherwise everything is chic, especially the stylish toilets.

The staff is dominant.... which, if you are sensitive, can be perceived as a bit annoying. Can you visit it? Yes you should, because the ambience is very nice and even unique regionally. Does the food taste good? Mexico says...a resounding yes if you like Mexican.

I ate à la carte once and the buffet once. It was absolutely fantastic!

My partner and I were here for the first time today. Parking situation is fine, it was quite full and some people treated themselves to two parking spaces. The staff is very friendly and regularly ask if everything is okay. The food (buffet) was pretty tasty, there was really something for everyone, even those who are picky like me. We will definitely be back, including our family.

I was here again after 10 years and didn't notice any change. The concept is clear. The ambience is accordingly. The chairs, however, are getting old, like everything else. This could be improved significantly. The menu hasn't changed since the day it opened. At least it feels like it.
