We were there on Saturday; they had a buffet. We were very satisfied with the service, but the food, which was what we came for, wasn't so good! The buffet wasn't good value for money. The selection for vegans was very limited. Otherwise, everything was very good. The reservation went smoothly, the staff fulfilled all our requests, and the tables were perfect. It was very quiet, even though every table was occupied. Great, we might come back, but only for the à la carte service.

There was a nice selection of typical Mexican dishes, it was just a shame that some of them were already cold despite being kept warm. I had Mexican beer punch, which was amazing. The drinks menu offered something for everyone, with or without alcohol, but I must admit they were pricey. The children had fun in the play area. We felt very comfortable.

The brunch on Boxing Day was really lovely. There was duck, salmon, and sea bass—more German cuisine, in addition to the expected Mexican dishes. A Santa Claus was also there with gifts for the children. All in all, very nice.

But this only slightly detracted from the overall positive impression. All in all, a very pleasant visit – we'd gladly come again!

The food, ambiance, and service are top-notch. The buffet offers a wide selection, everything tastes great, and the food is always refilled quickly. 1 star deducted for the now very high price level. Sure, everything has gotten more expensive, I understand. But €28 per person for the buffet plus two drinks + a cocktail. That quickly adds up to €45-50 per person 😮 Not so long ago, you could have eaten for two people for that amount. When I paid the bill, there were three things on the bill that I didn't even have. In my opinion, that shouldn't happen. Nevertheless, Espitas is still recommended if you have the money to spare.

I highly recommend the weekend evening buffet. I've done it twice already and haven't been disappointed. It's fun and delicious, whether you prefer sweet, savory, or spicy. It's a fixed price, and then you're good to go. Drinks are charged separately. The kids have a small, separate buffet with chicken nuggets and rice pudding with sugar, cinnamon, and applesauce. There's also a small playroom downstairs. We've been happy there so far.

We've been to several Espitas restaurants across Germany. However, we didn't enjoy the one in Halle. Some of the buffet food was cold and not attractively presented. Refills were also a constant nuisance. Normally, we're seated and receive our cutlery as soon as we're seated. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case here. We had to ask for cutlery three times. We also had to wait a full 35 minutes before we could order drinks. Just so you know, we didn't have our phones at the table and therefore didn't scan our drink menus. Consequently, our plates weren't cleared. It was basically a meal without drinks. We were very disappointed, as we usually enjoy visiting Espitas restaurants. We won't be returning to Halle, though.

The food at Espitas is truly delicious – there's absolutely nothing to criticize there. It's all the more disappointing, then, that the overall experience suffers. Our drinks were unfortunately delivered incorrectly, and the buffet was repeatedly not replenished. For the size of the restaurant, the buffet is simply too small, meaning many items – especially popular ones like guacamole – were often empty and couldn't even be sampled. With better restocking and a bit more organization, the visit would definitely have deserved more stars.

An interesting place with a great atmosphere and friendly staff. The buffet was somewhat confusing and complicated to navigate. I couldn't find the garlic mayonnaise for the calamari rings.

Very nice atmosphere, unfortunately our wheelchair-accessible reservation wasn't honored, but we did eventually get a table downstairs. Very, very delicious food and the service is friendly. Whether during the day or in the evening, it's always worth a visit. We've been holding our annual class reunion here for years. What struck us during our last visit was that no one informed us that the buffet was about to close, and also that the restaurant closed without ordering a last round. It was odd. Perhaps the waiters should be told this. That way, they can generate even more revenue.

As so often, a pleasant evening in a Mexican setting. The food was served buffet-style and was very good.

We went to the barbecue buffet on Friday evening. We were thrilled! The food was delicious. There was also plenty of choice for vegetarians. I should warn you about the lime buttercream dessert, it's addictive! 😅 The price of around €30 for adults and €9 for children (I think up to 13 years old) is perfectly reasonable. There's also a children's buffet with rice pudding and chicken nuggets. The service was quick and friendly. And the drinks were also very tasty. There's a separate play area for children with lots of toys. We'll definitely be back!

We were there today for a birthday brunch. The table we reserved for 13 people was beautifully decorated. The drinks arrived quickly and the buffet was fantastic. Everything was delicious and there was something for everyone. The atmosphere is lovely and Mexican. Thanks to Pascal! 👍🏼

We were there on October 30, 2025, in a large group for the company Christmas party. The annoying part was that they didn't mention it was a buffet when we reserved the table over the phone. When we arrived, we were initially impressed by the ambiance and the waitresses' attire. However, the disappointment came quickly. I personally had to get up twice to ask for my drink. Everyone else had one, but I didn't, and eating without drinks is pointless. After 45 minutes, I finally got something. As I said, I asked twice. The food wasn't great. The beef was incredibly tough and partly raw inside, not pink at all. The pork was extremely dry, and the churros were soggy. The dips were delicious, though, so I stuck to those with my baguette. In the end, we were quite annoyed with the service. Two of my colleagues ordered drinks, time passed, and half an hour later, one of them asked about them. They were told it was a bit busy and would be right with it. Others of us ordered drinks, and they received them. My colleague asked again and was told to wait until later. Our boss then paid and led the way. Go home, we finished our drinks... the two drinks arrived after an hour, a joke... then they even had to pay for them themselves, as they were supposedly not on the bill even though they had been ordered at least 30 minutes earlier... nobody could understand it, as the manager had disappeared with the bill... all 19 people at the table agreed... never again...

The seating was very soft and inviting. I would definitely recommend the restaurant. My only criticism concerns the menu—it wasn't available, or I couldn't find it. It would be really great if there was a menu available for brunch with a description of the dishes and also prices for the drinks not included. Not everyone likes to order without thinking.

I went to the buffet at Espitas Halle and was unfortunately rather disappointed. The selection was quite limited, especially compared to other restaurants in this price range. For the rather high price, I would have expected significantly more variety and quality. The food tasted only average; nothing that really stood out or seemed particularly fresh. Overall, not good value for money—tried it once, but not a restaurant I would visit again.

So, reading the reviews, I must have been there on the wrong day. Or it was a different restaurant. The service was good and really very friendly. But the food was awful. Cold, unseasoned, the meat was cooked to death, you couldn't even get a knife through it. I could still taste the fish the next morning. Fried vegetables with no seasoning. All in all, rather unsatisfactory. The cleanliness of the buffet wasn't great either. The dip glasses were smeared. Some of the rugs already had a crust on them, and that was shortly after the buffet had opened. Maybe the à la carte food is better, but we won't subject ourselves to the buffet again. Especially since the price of 28.90 per person is pretty steep. For quality like that.

So the service needs to be improved. It was empty, yet the staff seemed overwhelmed. Some things were forgotten, but were brought back later, including rude replies...unnecessary.

As a fan of many restaurants, this was another point that was far from the truth. When I go to a Mexican restaurant, I assume they understand my language. But in the end, they're all German. I politely asked if they spoke Spanish, but no one knew. So it's better to say the name of the restaurant in German.

We went to Espitas for brunch today after a long time and were very disappointed. The variety of dishes has changed for the worse. For example, with the rice and salmon, you had to hunt for the salmon. The only meat available was pork ribs. I missed the chicken pieces. Some of the plates (I actually had to put three back) were already greasy, as if they hadn't been cleaned. There was still green residue stuck to one knife. The iced tea garnish consisted of a piece of pineapple that already looked disgusting. It was all unacceptable. The service was very friendly, but that's not enough. We won't be going back anytime soon. I think you're still well served with three stars.

I ate there last Sunday evening and was extremely disappointed. We ate there that evening and honestly had no idea which dish to order from the menu. Another negative aspect was that the selection of dishes was very limited, but I ordered tacos, which I didn't like at all. Regarding the tacos, I criticized the crumbly, especially dry, and almost tasteless "dough," which tasted like old chips. We were also a bit disappointed when we were told that dishes like chili con carne and the taco sauce weren't spicy at all—quite the opposite. The service was STILL adequate, and it took a very long time for our drinks to arrive at our table. In conclusion: Unfortunately, I was not satisfied with the dinner experience and wish you could expand the selection of dishes on the menu and offer guests more choice. I would also like to reduce the spiciness of some dishes. It would also be advisable to offer an all-you-can-eat dinner buffet, like the breakfast buffet, so that everyone is satisfied. I was barely full from the small mini tacos with mini fillings and had to eat dinner again at home. As an experienced Google reviewer, I have experienced a lot and would like that They also adapt to my ideas so that a good rating, like at the breakfast buffet, ensures that guests are reasonably full and possibly leave a good Google review afterwards. This is exactly why I would request that an all-you-can-eat buffet be offered for dinner. Unfortunately, there were also many Google reviews for dinner a few months ago that also gave bad ratings. I won't be coming back as long as there isn't an all-you-can-eat buffet in the evening as well. I've attached the old review of the breakfast buffet again; it should at least be the same for dinner! The cocktails are watery. I ordered a Morito and a Sex on the Beach with alcohol. Alcohol. It was a complete joke. Not a trace of alcohol. Far too many ice cubes. The Sex on the Beach tasted only of orange juice and canberry juice. I pointed out to the staff several times that the drinks weren't okay. Unfortunately, they showed no insight. We paid €300 for this poor service. That's called service, ridiculous. Not a recommendation. Unfortunately, what your staff said is untrue. No new cocktails were offered. The staff member smelled my cocktail and said it smelled of peach liqueur. Nothing more. It's a shame for such a lack of insight.
