Die besten Restaurants in Deidesheim

Ein Jahr nach unserem letzten Besuch im L.A. Jordan wählten wir wieder das viergängige „Überraschungsmenü“. Der Preis zum Vorjahr war gleich geblieben, dafür fiel ein Amuse weg und die Gänge erschienen uns diesmal miniaturisiert, was die eigentliche Überraschung für uns war. Die Rotbarbe war winzigst und das Perlhuhn war ebenso sparsam portioniert. Etwas „Sättigung“ fehlte mangels Beilagen; diese Aufgabe hatte das Brot zu übernehmen. Die zweite Portion schlägt mit 12,50 € zu Buche. Etwas überraschend war, dass der Wan Tan Sud und die Soßen nicht entfettet kamen, sondern sich mit entsprechenden Augen präsentierten. Geschmacklich war’s gut; der Meerbarbe und dem Dessert geben wir unsere persönlichen 2 Sterne, ansonsten eher einen. Eine Buchtel zum Abschluss braucht unsereins jedoch nicht zum wiederholten Male. Der von Buhl‘sche Reserve Wein war wiederum Spitze, zumal er im Laden längst vergriffen ist. Der angenehme Service agierte tadellos und das besondere Ambiente des Restaurants gefällt uns sehr… wenn da nur nicht diese Kleinlichkeit bei den Portionen wäre.

Although we didn't have a reservation (highly recommended), we still got a wonderful table in front of the restaurant. Excellent service, a delicious shandy, a great salad, and a perfectly cooked rump steak. We were very satisfied and can unconditionally recommend the restaurant!

Yes, I can recommend this place 😉 We were at the Bergkeller restaurant last fall and were very satisfied. We went back this weekend and it was once again delicious. We ordered the following dishes: the 4-course menu (€49.90) consisting of asparagus salad, asparagus cream soup, fjord salmon burger, and salted caramel/rhubarb/strawberry mousse; the beef fillet (€38.50) with wild garlic crust, asparagus vegetables, and layered potatoes; and the cordon bleu (€24.90) filled with wine cheese and juniper ham. For dessert, we had crème brûlée with sorbet (€9.50) and the spirited sorbet (€8.50). This was accompanied by a delicious white wine. The food served was very tasty and fresh, with a certain something throughout, and therefore gets a very good grade from me. If you want to spend a relaxing time combined with culinary delights, the Bergkeller is the perfect place to stay.

Bodenständige, ehrliche und frische Küche in freundschaftlicher, uriger Atmosphäre. Das ist Sympathie, die man nicht mehr oft findet. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder

Very nice terrace, great service and very good wines from the house

After many years of enjoying the Saumagen at the Deidesheimer Hof, which was my benchmark, I was very positively surprised here: the Saumagen is not so compact in the bite, not oversalted, juicy. The chestnut thumb stomach surprises with the pleasant sweetness of the chestnuts and the additional pieces of meat with a bite. The fried potatoes deserve the name with beautiful roasted crusts and a crispy texture. The herb, on the other hand, cannot compete in terms of taste. The portion is generous. The service is very positive, asking 2 minutes after serving whether everything fits and tastes good, friendly and quick. Very good price/performance ratio. Rustic atmosphere, very busy, early reservation recommended. Overall, a recommendation and a new benchmark for Saumagen😊

We were very pleasantly surprised – both the food and the service exceeded our expectations. Everything was delicious, fresh, and prepared with care. The staff was attentive and friendly. We definitely recommend this restaurant and will gladly come back again!
