Best schnitzel I've had in a long time. Very friendly owners. The service could have been more frequent.

A fantastic restaurant in the best sense of the word. I've been there twice with groups of 10 and 20 people respectively. Friendly, efficient service and delicious food. Known for their amazing giant schnitzels, but the vegetarian mushroom risotto was also superb. We felt completely at ease.

The best restaurant in town, run by a truly wonderful family! I've been a regular for three years and still love and appreciate the warm hospitality and delicious, homemade German dishes. The schnitzel with mushroom sauce is my favorite, the salads are always fresh and flavorful, and I always look forward to the seasonal soups. What makes Zum Woibauer so special is the cozy, welcoming atmosphere—you sit in a quiet corner with a glass of local wine and are grateful to be there while waiting for a fantastic meal.

Quaint, cozy wine bar in the heart of Deidesheim Located in the heart of Deidesheim, this quaint wine bar immediately feels inviting. We spontaneously stopped by with friends, relatively late in the afternoon, and were very lucky to get a great seat. Even just before the kitchen closed, we were still able to choose from the menu – a real plus! The service staff was extremely friendly, attentive, and quick, so we immediately felt at home. The food itself was truly outstanding. We were particularly impressed by the salad with the homemade dressing – we haven't had a salad this good in a long time. The portions are very generous, so you'll be truly filling, and the quality of the food is absolutely fantastic. The ambiance is cozy, quaint, and invites you to linger – whether you're with friends or just the two of you. All in all, a thoroughly enjoyable stop. We'll definitely be back on our next visit to Deidesheim!

The service was very, very unfriendly. We waited an hour and 30 minutes for our food. The third meal arrived even later. Not recommended.

We went there for dinner with a large group. We had made advance reservations by phone. We called twice and reserved outside seating – and confirmed it twice by a member of staff. Was that okay? Unfortunately not. When our group arrived, the cat was out of the bag. We had to sit inside in a dark corner, initially without enough seating. No apology... Dark and stuffy. We then had to wait 75 minutes for our food. We received our drinks after "just" 20 minutes. Furthermore, the food was significantly more expensive (compared to other restaurants in town) – but by no means better.

Home-style cooking, the food was delicious (roulade with red cabbage and spaetzle, schnitzel with fries and salad). The wait time was rather long, more than 30 minutes, for the food to arrive. Service was okay, not particularly attentive, but friendly. The ambiance was a bit dated. The restrooms were unfortunately smelly. The price was reasonable for what was offered.

Went there for lunch on a Sunday. We had reserved a table in advance, which I would recommend. We received friendly service and had a very nice outdoor seating (it's covered). There are many regional dishes here. We opted for a schnitzel. I highly recommend it! We didn't expect such a large portion. It tasted excellent. My son managed his portion, but only 1 schnitzel (out of 2). But they provided a Styrofoam container to take it with him. The salad was also very good. Excellent value for money and highly recommended.

Giant schnitzel!! I had probably the biggest schnitzel of my life here, and I have to say: It was probably one of my best! A little ketchup probably wouldn't have hurt. Unfortunately, the plate was also just made of plastic :(. The atmosphere is pretty OK; we sat inside. But if the weather's nice, you can probably sit outside, which looks pretty cozy.

The portions were large and the taste was okay. Unfortunately, our restaurant experience was marred by a small group that was having a loud conversation. This was very disruptive to us and other guests, but the service didn't stop it. Our drink order was lost in this "commotion." When we mentioned it when paying, the waiter responded with indifference.

For me a piece of home. Great food in a beautiful place. Great people who are very close to you. You come in as strangers and you leave as friends, you just have to be open like the people of Palatinate 😄

The best schnitzels in the area. It's perfect to sit outside, it's good inside too, but it's a bit old, but still rustic. The quality of the food has always been consistently high during our visits. The schnitzels are sensationally good, as are the other dishes of course. I think it's good that there isn't a big card with zig-zags, but a maximum of one and a half pages of the card.

Unfortunately my steak was a little watery, but the side dishes and starter salad were still very tasty

NEVER AGAIN!!! We have already reserved a table for a Christmas party for 25 people on March 26th, 2024 for Saturday, December 14th at 7:30 p.m. At 7:30 p.m. our table was still occupied by previous guests who had ordered drinks and had not yet received a bill. After these guests finally left, we were able to take a seat at the table that had not yet been cleared. It wasn't until around 8:30 p.m. that we were allowed to place our drink order and were provided with drinks. There was no wheat beer left (the waiter said: yesterday's guests drank everything). The serving of the ordered food took over 1 3/4 hours from the first guest in our group to the last one (the last one was forgotten and didn't get his food at all). The fried potatoes advertised by the waitress were ultimately no longer available and the guests who ordered them had to switch to another side dish at short notice. The rösti with the salmon was cold... At some point the drinks were empty and only after repeatedly calling our attention were we able to place a second drink order. While we were waiting for the food, we noticed that guests who came to the restaurant much later after us were served their food before us. The chef himself took the time and sat at a table for three for over 30 minutes and chatted comfortably while we were still waiting for our food. The unfriendly tone and the fact that part of our group was asked to pay at the counter completed this evening. All in all, an impudence and an underground treatment of the guest, which anyone who wants to insult the innkeeper should not be able to afford in this day and age... Even the home-style food couldn't make up for this behavior... NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

What a lovely, homely restaurant! Very traditional in looks and food, and I mean that in a good way! I had the Feldsalat as starter and then the Rindsrouladen with red cabbage and Spätzle. Just like my mum used to make them! Good selection of local wines. All in all, it was a very enjoyable evening!

A little away from the hustle and bustle around the D'Hof you will find this pleasant little wine bar. Very good wine selection (the Riesling Paradiesgarten from the Kimmich winery is to die for…) Good regional specialties such as airy liver dumplings or a delicious Saumagencarpacio (of course from the Hambel butcher's shop...and you can taste it.) The atmosphere and friendly service are in no way inferior to the culinary offerings. And if there is still a pomace... See you again soon.

Der perfekte Abschluss nach einer wunderschönen herbstlichen Wanderung. Die sehr gute Auswahl an regionalen Speisen hat uns schon zum wiederholten Male erfreut. Sehr gutes Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. We had reserved a table for 2 people 2 days in advance. The reservation seemed to have been forgotten and we were given a part of the table that was directly in the access area to the toilets. That wasn't so bad. We made a reservation there because as a vegetarian in the Palatinate you have to search to find anything at all. On the online menu there was a vegetarian porcini mushroom risotto for €19.90. Today the current menu in the restaurant featured a vegan herb risotto for the same price!!!! The risotto was reserved with a mountain of melted onions, but with no discernible herbs, and was noticeably overcooked and beyond mushy. The pumpkin soup, which was also on the menu, was served as a decoration, and the inevitable balsamic reduction was also a must. When the waitress asked the obligatory question whether it was tasty, I remarked that a herb risotto could certainly taste of herbs, whereupon she shrugged her shoulders and turned away. It's a shame that this restaurant is still so unfriendly to vegetarians in 2024. For my meat-eating husband, the daily recommendation of Tafelspitz ("very classic") wasn't an absolute pleasure either. Instead of the "classic" boiled potatoes, there were fried potatoes, which with bacon and a lot of salt didn't do the actually delicious dish any good.

Die Speisekarte bietet eine hervorragende Auswahl an regionalen und internationalen Gerichten, die alle mit frischen Zutaten zubereitet werden. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich die Qualität der Speisen. Der Service war überaus freundlich und aufmerksam, was den Abend noch angenehmer gemacht hat. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist ebenfalls sehr fair, was das Restaurant Zum Woibauer zu einer klaren Empfehlung macht. Alles in allem ein fantastisches Restaurant, das ich jedem nur wärmstens empfehlen kann!

Very cozy, quaint restaurant. My portion of schnitzel was super large and the mushroom sauce was very tasty. My wife had a roulade that was also quite good. Delicious hearty food. One drawback was the pumpkin soup. This was completely over salted and inedible. A bit of a shame. Therefore only 4 stars. But we would come back.

Very large schnitzel, which could actually have been shared with 2 people. Schnitzel was very tasty. Furthermore, the staff was friendly despite the hustle and bustle. There was some stress occasionally, but I liked that they were sincere and did not put on a 'fake smile', but simply said honestly 'there are 2 of us today, so it may take a little longer'.

The first thing you noticed was that there was a dirty tablecloth on the table (several stains). I ordered roulades with spaetzle. The main course was unseasoned. Not a recommendation for me! 👎

Der Woibauer ist absolut das beste Lokal in Deidesheim und Umgebung! Das Essen ist absolut sensationell. Jeder Gang war ein Genuss, wunderschön präsentiert und mit hervorragenden Aromen, die perfekt harmonierten. Besonders hervorzuheben sind die Weltklasse Schnitzel und Steaks. Der Service ist erstklassig, sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Bis zum nächsten Mal Familie Beck.

The food was very tasty and plentiful. Friendly staff. There is a star deduction for the location itself, because on the one hand it was very loud and on the other hand it was a bit cool and drafty because the door to the outside area was constantly opened.

We went there for dinner with a couple we were friends with on Saturday evening! We were warmly welcomed and shown to our table in a very friendly manner. Even though the restaurant was packed, the service was wonderful. The food came to the table at the same time for everyone. The food was very tasty and well prepared. Wir waren diesen Freitag zu unserem alljährigen Weihnachtsessen dort und was soll ich sagen, es war perfekter als perfekt! Das Schnitzel war der Hammer und zum Abschluss gab es noch einen Gruß aus der Küche, direkt vom Koch serviert -> eine mega Eisbombe. Wer gutes Essen und eine herzliche Bewirtung mag, ist dort sehr gut aufgehoben!

Einfach wow ! Wir sind wirkliche Feinschmecker, unsere Erwartungen sind hoch. Das Essen, der Service & das Ambiente waren wirklich was Besonderes. Das Schnitzel (Champingon) ist ein Geheimtipp! Unser Besuch im ‘zum Woibauer’ war ein unvergessliches kulinarisches Erlebnis. Zu viert, in Begleitung unserer internationalen Freunde, bestellten wir die legendäre Pfälzerplatte, die einfach riesig war! Das Essen war köstlich und perfekt zum Teilen. Aber was diesen Abend wirklich unvergesslich machte, waren die liebenswürdigen und professionellen Gastgeber, die sich hervorragend um uns gekümmert haben. Die Wirte waren nicht nur gastfreundlich, sondern auch witzig, was die Atmosphäre noch angenehmer machte. Es war, als würden wir uns bei Freunden zu Hause fühlen. Wir möchten uns herzlich für diese großartige Erfahrung bedanken. ‘zum Woibauer’ ist definitiv ein Ort, den wir wieder besuchen werden – nicht nur wegen des fantastischen Essens, sondern auch wegen der warmherzigen Gastfreundschaft.

Wir haben einen Tisch für zwei Personen drei Tage im voraus reserviert und wurden an einen Katzenplatz zwischen Schirmständer und zügigen Ausgang plaziert. Unsere Wahl fiel auf Roulade mit Spätzle und Rotkohl sowie den Sommersalat mit Schnitzel. Optisch war die Roulade nett anzuschauen, geschmacklich eher mittelmäßig. Der Sommersalat kam mit viel Grünzeug und einem leckeren Dressing, einer kleinen Tomate und Linsensalat sowie dem gewählten Schnitzel.

Großer Salatteller könnte abwechslungsreicher sein. Das Fleisch allerdings war sehr gut.

Sehr schönes Pfälzer Lokal, man kann auch draußen sitzen. Sehr leckeres Essen. Sehr nette Bedienungen. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Wir haben einen Tisch reserviert, sind angekommen und mussten eine Stunde warten😡. Die Rinderrouladen sind mit Leberhack gestreckt! In der Karte steht: Speck, Zwiebeln und Gurken 🤷🏻‍♀️. Da ich keine Leber vertrage, war das Essen für mich leider nicht gut!!!

Es ist zwar schon im Juli gewesen, hatten aber dort einen rundum gelungenen Geburtstag der Schwiegermama gefeiert. Toller Service und gutes Essen. Und wenn der Koch am Ende noch an den Tisch kommt und sich nach der Zufriedenheit erkundigt, sich anschließend bei lockerem Gespräch dazu setzt und einen aufs Haus ausgibt, dann ist das für mich Pfälzer Lebens- und Essenskultur. Immer wieder gerne!!

Alles wirklich gut, Essen mehr als Reichlich und das Auge ist mit ! Echt empfehlenswert 👌.Das einzige Mango ist der Service , obwohl ich es nur unter Vorbehalt sagen kann , war ja das erste mal dort ! Die Getränke dauerten ewig ,das Essen kam mit den Getränken .Aber trotzdem freundlich überfordert , trotzdem Empfehlenswert👍.
