Die besten Restaurants in Bernkastel-Kues

Visited Dec/2024 for dinner only A lovely restaurant of Guest houst... This place is not disappointing at all. The food is very delicious, as expected from the 4.7 rating on Google. We ordered three dishes: grilled shrimp salad and one main dish each of schnitzel (fried pork cutlet) with mushroom sauce and halibut steak. We ended with a dessert of gluten-free wine and panna cotta... Oh my god!! Every dish was delicious! I really like it. I want anyone who wants to visit this area to pin this restaurant. If you come one day, please come and eat.

We ate very well and at really fair prices. With very well-known guests. We would come back any time. The food was good, middle class but of the highest standard.

Impossible.... I booked this hotel 9 months ago via a booking portal and today I received a cancellation of the booking from the hotel without comment (although the email is worded as if I had requested the cancellation). I called them and asked what was going on and was told that I hadn't made a cancellation. I was then informed that they had apparently been fully booked for two years. Clear! And you only notice that after 9 months. Since, according to the telephone information, a travel group was announced at the time, I assume that the room is needed for something else in order not to lose the group as customers. Not even an apology was expressed.

Wanted to go to Jadexpress for dinner last night. It's been closed for a while now. Too bad

We just had a coffee, very nice to. We sat out side with our dog and watched the world go by. He did say we could take the dog inside if we had wanted. All good

We took a little break here and ate a great waffle with ice cream in the sunshine. Wonderful 😎👍 We would love to come back 😋

Starter was fine, ordered steak medium as main course but it was overcooked. Sushi had also been fried for too long, which meant the flavor was no longer fully developed. Wine list is excellent with sufficient choice.

Food was OK, fast Italian cuisine, service friendly and attentive

Super delicious food. German and Indian cuisine, both exceptionally good. Best food in town. The breakfast was also very fresh and varied.

We had reserved and got a window seat. Then everything good comes together, the food, the service and the view! We will definitely come back again!

We just drank a very tasty Federweisser. The friendly service even brought our dog a treat!

The food was very tasty. We were there with 5 people. Decent portions, the price was reasonable and the service was also very nice and courteous. I can only recommend this location. There is definitely a need to repeat it.

I don't normally write a review, but I just have to share my experience in the Fairytale Hotel restaurant here. On December 1st, 2024, my wife and I decided to try out the restaurant in question during a visit to Bernkastel Kues. I ordered a roulade with potatoes and carrots. The first attempt at the roulade resulted in a slight feeling of disgust. My wife, who tried these, also agreed that there was something wrong with the meat. I told the service person who was then called that, in my opinion, the meat was bad and not edible. My plate was taken away and a short time later another waitress showed up and told me that their cooks had tried the roulade and thought everything was fine. There was nothing to be done about the fact that the roulade wouldn't suit my taste and I would still have to pay for the dish I ordered, even if I didn't eat it and only tried a tiny piece. I paid and even then there wasn't even an apology or anything from the restaurant. One had the impression that they were even insulted because of my complaint. It's an absolute disgrace how guests are treated here. This restaurant never again!!!

This was our first time here and we really enjoyed it! We would like to come back. Nice service, delicious food and a super nice atmosphere.
