Moselblümchen in Bernkastel-Kues

Nice hotel, good food and excellent service.

Mega great food, taste explosion, friendly service. Everything was quick at the table, nice atmosphere. I can only recommend it. Also super nice to our dogs.

We wanted to eat again at the Moselblümchen restaurant today. The anticipation of slaughter plates etc. was great. Then the damper. There has been an Indian restaurant here since the beginning of the year. Unfortunately, the operators failed to adapt the menu online. Since the restaurant remained almost empty, the demand for Indian cuisine has probably slowed down a little. Addendum August 20, 2024 The old menu is still on the homepage.

Unfortunately the Moselle flower has a new owner and it no longer fits. We will no longer be guests there.

The rooms were clean and well furnished. It's just a shame that the view (inner courtyard) wasn't that great. The staff was friendly and nice.

The salads with an Indian touch were very tasty and there was naan bread

Rigtigt godt spisested. Stedet er lavet om fra traditionelt tysk til indisk spisested, hvilket er absolut god mad. Stadig et hyggeligt sted med fin betjening, og vigtigst af alt, rigtig god og smagfuldt orientalsk mad.

Mycket god mat och service! Rekommenderas. Kyckling spett och tikka masala. Passa på att ta vitt vin från trakten det passade mycket bra!

Hotel in old German style, also has its charm. Reception was rushed, receptionist clearly wanted to go home. Parking reserved, but due to the slope it is virtually inaccessible for a low sports car, although this has been announced. Breakfast was fine and quiet at night.

We stayed here overnight as part of a motorcycle tour. Nice rooms in a historic building. Super friendly people. We'd love to come back!

We hebben heerlijk gegeten hier. Superlekker Indiaas eten, mooi opgediend en vriendelijke bediening. Geen gebruik gemaakt van de saladebar, want we kregen ons bord niet eens leeg. Aanrader!

Heerlijk verblijf gehad, hotel in oude stijl maar wel heel netjes. Fijne grote kamer, met separaat een badkamer. Goed ontbijtbuffet, en heel goed restaurant.

Unser Zimmer und ein Reichhaltiges Frühstück ein super Angebot. Die Lage war sehr praktisch direkt am Weihnachtsmarkt. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Bis bald Mal wieder 👍👍

Kamers oké. Personeel erg vriendelijk. Restaurant heeft ruime keuze en kwaliteit erg goed. Ook hier vriendelijk en gezellige bediening.

Prima gegeten, vlotte bediening ondanks de drukte!zonder reservering konden we toch terecht rond 18:00 uur! Bij thuiskomst bleek dat er een fout op de rekening te staan! We zijn teruggegaan de volgende dag en werd dit opgelost! Het teveel betaalde is keurig terug betaald!

Sehr enttäuschend. Der Hunger trieb uns rein, da wir leider nichts anderes reserviert hatten. Die Salatbar war mehr oder weniger leergefegt. Das Essen war totgekocht und quasi geschmackslos.

The rooms are so quaint, the staff are so friendly and attentive, location is central. Restaurant across has some of the best food I've ever had. I ordered the grilles salmon, with potatoes and cooked spinach.

Bis auf das Bohnengemüse konnte man alles essen. Der Brokkoli war kalt und roh. Im übrigen war das Essen unter dem Durchschnitt. Als der Kellner frage ob es geschmeckt hat, wollten wir ihm auch offen sagen das es nicht der Fall war. Aber das Interessierte ihn nicht und ignoriert uns. Bis auf einen aufmerksamen Kellner konnte man den Service vergessen.

Das Essen war lecker, es wurde auf Sonderwünsche eingegangen. Die Wartezeit bis das Essen kann war normal, lange Wartezeiten bis wir bedient bzw. Bis das Essen kam können wir nicht bestätigen. Das Personal freundlich. Wir können das Restaurant empfehlen

Letzter Abend mit der Familie. Voller Hoffnung, die Lokalität besucht. 19 Uhr den Tisch reserviert, das Essen kam gegen 20:30 und der Laden war nicht voll. Die Odyssee begann aber schon mit den Getränken. Sage und schreibe eine halbe Stunde haben wir auf drei kleine Bier gewartet und auch auf mehrmaligen Erinnern kam erstmal nichts… genau wie das Essen. Als das Essen endlich unseren Tisch erreicht hat, brauchten sie ungefähr 5 Minuten bis alles auf dem Tisch war und die Pommes, die als erstes kamen, waren natürlich direkt kalt. Vier der Essen waren in Ordnung (auch nur in Ordnung). Das eine Gericht, ein Cordon Bleu war leider roh und musste zurück gegeben werden. Alles in einem zahlt man einen sehr stolzen Preis und erhält gefühlt nichts. Ich denke da ist man in jedem Restaurant in Bernkastel-Kues besser aufgehoben. Nicht wieder

Wir waren an einem Mittwochabend zu dritt im Moselblümchen. Das Essen war hervorragend von Qualität und Geschmack! Besonders hervorheben möchte ich hier den wunderbaren Service von Antje! Ihre Weinberatung war äußerst kompetent, die Frau hat wirklich Ahnung! Man hatte manchmal den Eindruck, sie würde jede Weintraube persönlich kennen! Mit Herzblut wurden Winzer und Weinlage beschrieben. Alle 3 Weine, die wir auf ihre Empfehlung bestellten und mit Genuß getrunken haben, waren hervorragend! Grüße aus der Südpfalz!

Als Gäste des gleichnamigen Hotels haben wir auch im Hotelrestaurant gehgegessen. Ich hatte gebratenen Lammrücken auf Tellerrösti mit Pommery-Senfsauce und Gemüse für 31.50 Euro. Es war wenig schmackhaft und mit 31.50 Euro zu teuer. Aber auch das Ambiente des Hotel/Restaurants ist altbacken und nicht modern.

Na enkele restaurants gehad te hebben hier terecht gekomen. Meerdere keren gegeten. Eten top. Service oké, net als andere plaatsen waar het druk is. Echte aanrader! Voor ons was al het personeel vriendelijk. Het is maar net wat je verlangt als toerist! Komen hier zeker terug als we weer eens in Bernkastel zijn.

Heel leuk hotel Authentiek past precies in de stijl van Bern Kassel. Ze hebben wel op dinsdag een rustdag maar er zit wel iemand achter de receptie. Ontbijt is goed Kamer is leuk een schoon en de badkamer is OK. Ondanks de hitte buiten was het lekker koel op de kamer

Besøgte restauranten juli 2019. Vi sad udendørs i et flot sommervejr. Fik wienerschnitzel og en flaske Riesling. Begge dele smagte fint. Et pænt sted med rimelige priser og imødekommende servering.

Voor onze eerste lunch namen we plaats op het terras. Kaart was er binnen een minuut, een vriendelijke gedag kon er helaas niet vanaf. De medewerkers maken in deze tijd van het jaar al een ongelooflijk vermoeide en uitgebluste indruk. Met een uitzondering, de Aziatische meneer die de tafels afruimt. Maar goed kleinigheid gegeten, brood met ham kan eigelijk weinig misgaan op de augurken na die wat muf smaakten en een huisgemaakte worstsalade, heel eenvoudig, geen kruiden en vooral heel, heel veel worst. Door deze eenzijdigheid ben je het na een hap of vier al moe. Prijs kwalitei staat niet in verhouding.

La comida nos gustó mucho. Pero la carta solo la tenían en alemán y tuve que pedir prácticamente a ciegas. La sopa de goulash muy recomendable.

Richtig lecker Essen. Hab schon lange nicht mehr so ein Top Wildgericht gegessen. Hier würde ich mit gutem Gewissen wieder kommen und dieses Restaurant auch bestens weiterempfehlen.

Vi bokade bord i god tid för middag på kvällen. Maten var bra, däremot var servicen inte på topp. Allt tog lång tid och vi fick hela tiden jaga personalen för att få beställa och på slutet även för att få betala.

I’ve lived in Germany twice for a period of 5 years total. This place is around the corner from where we are staying and we have had 3 meals here, all of which have been authentic and prepared exceptionally well. No disappointments. Portions were so large that even sharing a meal twice we had leftovers and brought them back to our apartment to have later. Service was good and staff friendly. They were packed each time we ate there so do recommend a reservation just to be safe. Schweinhaxe was very good!!

We were very happy with our experience. The restaurant was very down-to-earth, nothing too high-toned, which was fine with us after a day of sightseeing and hiking. Staff was very friendly, too.

I stayed there one night, was visiting Bernkastel and decided to stay. The room was nice , however it was a little warm, the breakfast was good.

So hot and crowded today. Went into a quiet peaceful cool dining room. Great service. Great food. Sides served family style. Best food this trip.

We stopped for dinner fairly late one night and sat outside. Our server was friendly and spoke good english. Plus, he provided an english menu. He wasn't very attentive though. Also, it took quite a while for our food to arrive. This occurred despite the fact they were not busy. The meatball dish was pretty good and my salted pork knuckle was OK. Not a lot of wine choices. Overall, this place is just OK.

very old place, and they kept the interior old, the decoration is like in a museum, and the group of 28 was welcomed like a visit of family members

We arrrived and was very happy that our apartment room on top floor window has a perfect view of the xmas market. However, the apartment was 2 separate bedroom and a 1 bathroom. A little hassle going to the toilet at night cause u have to unlock ur door to get to toilet. Also, we had little kids so we didnt even use the other bedroom. There was no kitchenette either but no big deal. The staff were friendly and spoke english. Location was perfect!

A good hotel and a good, typical restaurant with German specialties You can find fish and vegetarian dishes also, but what I like there the most are the meat dishes, some simple, some "Gutbürgerlich". Certainly a place to visit and you shall not be disappointed

We were looking for traditional German food. Moselblumchen offers that but there is better in this and surrounding towns. Our meat entrees were overcooked and we did not enjoy the service.

We wanted to have a drink somewhere that we could obtain internet access.(virtually impossible in this behind the times town). When we asked the waitress , she muttered something to us and because we didn't hear, we asked her to repeat it. "No!" Was the reply, very aggressive and rude. There is absolutely no way I would give this hotel my patronage with service like this.

Avoid this place if possible. The food is, at the best, average and the service is far below what you pay for. As the restaurant is well situated, I guess it is one of the places that gets filled by hungry tourists whatever quality they deliver. The staff is unattentive, impolite, getting orders wrong - if at all interested in having orders... and when receiving complaints, they simply don't care - not even have the energy to give a simple excuse. So the conclusion is simple - Avoid the place, there are so many other restaurants around where you get better value for money!

Stayed for three nights and enjoyed it very much. Very good location. Nice, clean room with very comfortable bed and excellent shower. Breakfast was a good quality basic buffet. Petra at the front desk was very pleasant and the man at front desk whom I believe is the owner was very helpful. Would definitely stay in this hotel again.

We loved our meal here. It was great. I had the best schnitzel ever. The staff were friendly. We wandered this lovely town for awhile, and were so pleased we choose this restaurant. Had some lovely wine with dinner also.

We came for a tourist visit with the whole family including my in laws and other extended family.. Just the moment we entered the restaurant, i didnt feel the warm welcome of the staffs.. the man who handed me the english menu was really unpleasant...

We ate there several years ago when the outdoor part was just a parking lot. The parking lot has been redone to a nice square some years ago and the restaurant has expanded into this area. This makes all the difference even if the aftenoon...

During our 2013 Mosel vacation we visited the restaurant in Bernkastel. The food was very nice. Liver from pig - the best I have ever had. Fried onions, chives and cooked potatoes. The wine was very good too. Sertenly a place I will visit again.

This is the second time I have ate here... Somehow I have been lucky enough to have the same waitress twice... (Middle aged women with short hair and a wrist brace)... Both times I have been pretty sure she rolled out of the wrong side...

Some good traditional food and plenty of it - the service was very helpful to translate some of the local specialities.

The food was typical German fare. Nothing wowed us too much, except the fried potatoes that came with the Fleischkasen. They had bacon and onions mixed in; everyone sampled! This little hotel is tucked into a courtyard off the main street that nestles the Mosel....

German cooking at its best. I had the grilled trout and my wife chicken breast with chantereles. Both excellent accompanied by salad from the salad bar. The wein schorle is the best on the Mosel.
