Ristorante Pizzeria Milano in Bernkastel-Kues

The location is good, just over the bridge and you are in the town center. The rooms are cold and not comfortable at all, very spartan, functional and cheaply furnished. The curtains should be washed as they are stained. Neither a bottle of water nor a kettle available. The bathroom is very small and old. To get warm water from the shower you have to let it run for what feels like a few minutes to get a thin stream. Another drawback is that the rooms are very noisy. When people are working in the restaurant or kitchen, you can hear EVERYTHING. There is no air conditioning for summer. The advantage is that there are on-site parking spaces, but this means that the hotel immediately asks you not to park on the street. Breakfast is OK at best. Metro mixed with Lidl and good and cheap. Basically everything is there, but counted and not of particularly high quality (e.g. only baked rolls, not bread or croissants every day, pre-cooked and not refrigerated eggs). Yoghurt is only available sweetened and unrefrigerated in a cup, and only milk with muesli. No cut fruit, coffee only as filter coffee and the juice is the cheapest nectar from Lidl. There is one napkin per person. On the last day we had moldy rice pudding (it sat on the shelf in the restaurant for days). It's ok for one or two nights without any major demands, but you're unlikely to come back.

Impossible.... I booked this hotel 9 months ago via a booking portal and today I received a cancellation of the booking from the hotel without comment (although the email is worded as if I had requested the cancellation). I called them and asked what was going on and was told that I hadn't made a cancellation. I was then informed that they had apparently been fully booked for two years. Clear! And you only notice that after 9 months. Since, according to the telephone information, a travel group was announced at the time, I assume that the room is needed for something else in order not to lose the group as customers. Not even an apology was expressed.

The place is very nice, but the highly advertised New Year's Eve party was canceled at short notice, which is the only reason we chose this place. It was difficult to find an alternative, since almost everything closes at 10 p.m.

Price-performance ratio not balanced

On July 3rd we had booked 2 rooms. Arrival was on November 22nd. planned. The day before arrival I received an email in the afternoon that no breakfast could be offered because there was a renovation in the restaurant area. I found the information very late. No alternative was offered. We canceled free of charge and booked another hotel. We were told there that there had been a kitchen fire in the summer and that several guests who had booked here had already complained about the way things were done. I think so too. Not informing guests in a timely manner or when booking, finding an alternative (breakfast in a cafe or in the room, etc.) Anyone who is not honest with their guests does not deserve any guests.

Clean room. Slept well there. It's just a shame that there was no breakfast due to a smoldering fire in the restaurant.

The hotel does not have a staffed reception. The room and bathroom were very small, not spacious at all. It was clean and tidy, but in dire need of renovation. The bed was so hard that I woke up after three hours of sleep with back pain and couldn't go back to sleep. Extremely responsive, you could hear the slightest noise from corridors and other rooms. A bit musty air, it took forever for the fog on the mirror after a shower to disappear so the ventilation probably needs to be reviewed. We had booked two nights but chose to check out after one night, we didn't have to pay for the second night which was positive. Otherwise good location, a short walk from Bernkastel. Free parking. If you are very undemanding, you can stay here for a good price (compared to other hotels in Bernkastel-Kues), but don't expect anything cozy or comfortable.

We stayed at the hotel for one night and were very satisfied. The location is great and there is parking right in front of the hotel. The owners were super friendly. We would book a room again at any time.

The rooms are relatively clean + functional. Very simple, not comfortable. No bottle of water in the room. Flower boxes full of water and butts. (In a non-smoking hotel) Very noisy, website promises a lot more than the hotel delivers. Unfortunately the promised comfort was not provided. Preferably cash payment upon arrival. OK for 1 night, but not really suitable for more days of vacation. It's a shame because it's well located.

Super friendly staff and very helpful. The rooms are very clean and there is a great breakfast. I rarely write reviews, but because the young host is so personable and friendly, he deserves this review!

Good clean hotel but note the restaurant is a separate business that doesn't open untill evening service begins, so if you're gagging for a beer...

Clean hotel with a sufficient selection at the breakfast buffet and a great restaurant. Very friendly staff. We have been guests many times and have just booked again. The free parking lot at the hotel is also great.

We were there for three days last week and it was very nice! Rooms bright & clean! Breakfast very good. On request you can also have scrambled eggs or fried eggs. What more could you want?! Host very nice!👍 My request for a tiramisu at breakfast was also accepted as we had a birthday child😚 That was very well received! We ate twice in the restaurant and it was really great! Very tasty!!!👍We are very satisfied and would love to come back.

On the Internet the price on the menu for spagetti pomodore was €7.5, yesterday the price had risen to €13, the reason: everything would have been expensive. The catering industry need not be surprised if no one is willing to pay these prices anymore By the way, the food was mediocre, the service was very friendly, and the ambience was so-so

The location in this town is a real miracle

Simple, very clean hotel with very nice innkeepers and a good breakfast

Zimmer und Dusche hätten eine Renovierung nötig! Kein guten Wassserdruck.Kein Licht über dem Tisch. Vorhänge Dunkeln schlecht ab. Waren im Dezember dort dann geht's ja,aber im Sommer sicher zu hell im Zimmer. Keine Teppiche. Vom Bett bis zur Dusche bekommt man Eisfüße. Einzelne Betten stehen als Doppelbett zusammen. Frühstück ist Standard wie überall heute, dh. nichts bedonderes. Bett ist gut.

Kleines, familiengeführtes Hotel im Stadtteil Kues. Kostenlose Parkmöglichkeiten sind auf dem hoteleigenen Parkplatz reichlich vorhanden. Bis zur Altstadt von Bernkastel ist es ein ca. zehnminütiger Fußweg. Wir wurden sehr freundlich von der Chefin empfangen und erhielten alle nötigen Informationen in Sachen Frühstück und angeschlossenen italienischen Restaurant. Das Zimmer war hell und freundlich gestaltet. Auch die Sauberkeit ließ nichts zu wünschen übrig. Einen Stern Abzug gibt es allerdings für das in die Jahre gekommene Badezimmer. Es war tadellos sauber, aber der Charme der 80er Jahre könnte mal renoviert werden. Wir waren trotzdem sehr zufrieden und würden es weiterempfehlen !
