Top staff! Great schnitzel! Top service!

The food was very, very tasty. We were there with 7 people and everyone was completely satisfied. Unfortunately, the lights will go out in this attractive restaurant on December 15, 2024. A return there is therefore not likely (coming from Grefrath, Viersen district).

Just Tried again and unfortunately was disappointed again. Went there on a wonderful sunny day and sat outside where there was self-service and, to my regret, there was beer poured from bottles into the glass. The food later was ok but not at all special. Price performance absolutely not justified. A portion of fries (which are really very small) for over 5 euros 😃 The service was again a shame. A burger was simply wrong. When asked (by a child) the response was rude and the burger was taken away without comment. Fortunately, the cellar that brought the next one apologized for the store. More from the waiters and you would have more returning guests. Oh yes, the special requests were not fulfilled for a single dish. And I'm talking about simple things like leaving the tomato off the burger. I won't take the long journey again. CORRECTION TO ANSWER: This is simply not true! There was definitely bottled beer otherwise I wouldn't tell! Staff is in short supply, which I understand, but the entire beer garden was definitely not served at that time and you had to get the drinks yourself!!! The fries were also charged at more than €4.10. It's a shame that the criticism isn't simply accepted and improved, but unfortunately I already suspected something like that. You don't win customers that way

We ordered the food by phone and picked it up. I haven't eaten so well in a long time. Everything was fantastically delicious. I can absolutely recommend it to everyone.

Very tasty food and very nice service.

Ate outside for four on weekdays! It's very nice to sit with a view of the market! Fully occupied on the outside, almost empty on the inside! The place is much bigger inside than you think and the atmosphere is nice too! We had a new, young, nice waiter who took drinks and food and both came quite quickly and always had a quick comment from him, which wasn't annoying! My broad beans with fried breaded belly were great and my colleagues had nothing to complain about! The stock market left us with a very good impression! The price is also totally okay!!!

Unfortunately not recommended. Eat lukewarm. Really little taste. Too expensive.

Had a meal there spontaneously (a restaurant on the market square didn't want to offer us something to eat). We found that what we ate was very tasty and sufficient. The service was very good and friendly.

Food delicious, staff friendly. It's a shame that the bell from the kitchen constantly sounded very loud... I've eaten there several times and always happily and without the loud ringing. So far I haven't sat in the entrance area, but towards the back. It's a shame that the toilet is in the basement. 2 older guests returned to the table and with my partner/wheelchair user I don't eat here.

Most expensive kebab in Xanten but in contrast to Mazes Kebap the taste is worlds worse. Good run-of-the-mill kebab, but nothing more...but for the price...never again

The kebab was ice cold, the bread from the day before fell apart and wasn't even toasted, so that was the worst kebab I've ever seen and I definitely didn't eat it. Never again

The greeting and service I received here was excellent especially as I had previously left the nearby Zer Borse because they where unspeakabley rude. Having spent much time in Croatia the food was without doubt a Germanic version but very nice none the less.

Unfortunately it hasn't gotten any better, overpriced, impersonal. It's a shame how such a beautiful place to stay is scrapped. Not recommended.
