Beautiful evening in the cozy, sunny courtyard! The food was absolutely delicious and so wonderfully seasoned! 🥰 Very delicious! I ate way too much 😅 The staff are also very friendly and hospitable. We will be coming here more often from now on!
P.S.: We have been a regular customer ever since. There is now a new operator. The food is still very, very tasty! Unfortunately, however, the Sharwama role, for example, has significantly lost its size. Last time we got fries later because we were still really hungry. Hence a star deduction.
The Kaiserküche is a relatively new restaurant near Oldenburg Central Station. It is run by a young team and seems to have star ambitions. But that doesn't work: Poor selection of wine accompaniment, these in small (i.e. approx. 100 ml per course) portions: It wasn't allowed to be tried beforehand, that's unusual. The Pinot Noir from Alsace was very bitter and we didn't finish it. The wine accompaniment is also too expensive for the portion size. Staff did not respond adequately to direct communication and criticism of this wine selection. We didn't like the taste or texture of the dishes (cheese course, salsify), only scallops and veal roulade were ok. the food was very expensive. Next time I'd rather go to a traditional pub.
Funny: I can't upload my (critical) review and there are almost exclusively 5 star reviews.
A rogue who thinks evil of it.
Super delicious food. Not comparable to the usual fast food! Very courteous and nice contact! We order here very often. We also have our own order page where you can accumulate points to save
Nice little restaurant with very nice service. We celebrated my husband's birthday there with our children.
My husband was surprised with a serenade and an ice cream cake
Thanks for that 👍
Spanish holiday feeling in Oldenburg. If you want to enjoy delicious Spanish tapas in a relaxed and informal atmosphere with Spanish rhythms, this lively place is the right place for you. We had reserved a table for 4 people for Saturday evening, but arrived 40 minutes early. Although almost all seats were fully occupied, the very friendly staff pulled out all the stops to seat us as planned. Thank you very much for making this work so well. We tried a variety of tapas. Spicy olives and a bread basket with garlic sauce in advance - both great. The pimientos that followed were delicious. The Manchego was also very tasty. The shrimp in garlic oil were also particularly good. The dates wrapped in bacon and the patatas bravas (potatoes) with garlic sauce are also very tasty. My favorite: the small anchovies in oil. We also recommend the Crema Catalana and the churros with chocolate sauce for dessert - both very authentic. Ordering is carried out easily at the table using a mobile phone and QR code. Conclusion: Clear recommendation. A great place to enjoy a little holiday feeling every now and then. Be sure to reserve in advance.
There were five of us, father, mother and three sons. The house was full because of a birthday party, but the service was always attentive. The food was excellent, Turkish cuisine in the best tradition. We had a very nice evening (a little tip, just as a side note: don't try to be relaxed and funny, even if there are children at the table, the adults appreciate professionalism).
The food and the staff were great. The ambience is pleasant and comfortably furnished. What didn't work at all was that the three of us got a tarte flambée every 30 minutes. Only after the restaurant was almost empty did the tarte flambée come faster. If you choose the all u can eat option you should come early enough. Otherwise everything was great.
