Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio did not meet expectations as the quality offered was disproportionate to the price. The service also left a lot to be desired: the employees seemed inattentive. Overall, the visit did not meet our expectations. Even before the waitress came to us, we (3 staff; actually reserved for 2) wanted to sit at a table for four. However, she informed us that we should sit at another table for four. She then gave the table to a couple who were just the two of them. This decision was absolutely incomprehensible to us. Therefore, unfortunately not worth another visit..

I was there with good friends and had a very nice and delicious evening. The tarte flambées are super delicious and the type of cocktails are also very tasty 😋. You should always book a table in advance otherwise you might have bad luck eating there. The conditions are polite, attentive and flexible if you have a request that is not on the menu. The tarte flambées are really very tasty. There are many unusual variations. The All You Can Eat is particularly recommended for eating your way through the menu with friends. The only downside: the chairs are totally uncomfortable. Please replace at the next opportunity

I was here twice, I liked it, the ambience and everything. Ever since I saw Sebastian Lege making tarte flambée, I've been amazed at Gaston. Really great concept! And these prices are really crazy, just take a look at the Lege. To be honest, I'm jealous that I don't own the shop, I couldn't stop smiling at every tarte flambée that would leave the kitchen, really!

The dishes are tasty and the prices are mid-range. There is only tarte flambée, if you don't like it you can only eat a salad as an alternative. There is also a starter plate, for example, which is highly recommended. There are other starters and also desserts. The menu is manageable. If you are there with several people, you can also order tarte flambée "full" - all you can eat. Tarte flambées keep coming and everyone can try different types.

A very cozy restaurant and very tasty tarte flambée, we have always enjoyed coming here in the past. This evening we were unfortunately completely ignored by the female waitress, even though she looked at us several times. After 15 minutes we left, until then no one had come to our table. It's a shame, we won't be coming back here that quickly.

Tarte flambée of your choice, small side salad and a 0.2 soft drink for €16.50. Nope, great - let's do it. The salad arrived very quickly. So super fresh and crunchy!! I had the vegan rocket tarte flambée. Crispy, pre-cut, wafer-thin and simply delicious. Absolute 5 star recommendation!! I'll definitely come back and try all the vegan tarte flambées. Now we were there again yesterday for a different reason. Also lunch deal. This time I had the vegan curry tarte flambée. Also really great. The service was someone else but copy and paste the above rating.

We were a group of 7 people at lunchtime. The service was super nice and attentive, gave us various recommendations from the menu and provided really good service. Everyone received the food at the same time, so we could really eat together as a group and everyone enjoyed it very much. For leftovers, people asked whether they should be packed. Overall we were very satisfied!

Definitely a place to visit if you like Flammkuchen (tarte flambee). They have a all you can eat option which I can recommend. Super friendly stuff and the taste of the Flammkuchen is just perfect.

I chose Gaston for my birthday dinner with my husband because I still had fond memories of the great buffet on New Year's Eve. There is no day off so there is no problem on Monday either. We are very enthusiastic about the great cuisine with an extensive vegetarian selection, the range of drinks and the extremely courteous service. A delicious dessert on the house including a sparkler made the beautiful evening on the terrace perfect for me. We'll definitely come back often.

All in all a good restaurant. The tarte flambées were good but not outstanding. The service was great and the atmosphere was really nice.

We've been here several times in the last 5 years for "all you can eat". There is a really good selection of different tarte flambées. Most of them taste very good. Unfortunately, the quality of the food used is sometimes a bit poor, e.g. B. With the gyros. But what is now really outrageous (in my opinion) is the price of €27. It's no longer worth it for us, so we won't be coming back again.

Note from the group, since we were asked to clear the table in about 30 minutes after about 2 hours: It's not a problem at all, it would be nicer if we were told a little earlier or if a time limit was announced in advance. From our point of view, given the crowds, there is no negative criticism! We would just like to know something sooner or beforehand. :-) In the end it was all over again, only then you are already in the mood to leave, otherwise you might have stayed longer for a drink. ;-) We'd love to come back!

Very cozy restaurant with a great and clean atmosphere. We were there with 8 people and sat very well. Since either everyone or no one is allowed to eat the flat, we all chose this. We dug our way through the menu and everyone found their favorites. The rules are explained in the card and, in my opinion, make sense. In principle, depending on the number r participants, half of the people in each round get tarte flambée. These are already cut by hand and everyone can take something from the board. Women will certainly be satisfied with a tarte flambée, but for hungry men the flat cake definitely makes sense. The cakes are priced higher. But the staff was super nice.

The Gaston is convincing across the board. In terms of taste, the creations we tried are very convincing. There is a large vegetarian and vegan selection. In addition, the toilets are very clean and the service is heartfelt. You notice that straight away :) Of course it's not cheap in terms of price, but it's definitely an experience. The atmosphere is very nice and cozy. A spontaneous reservation on Saturday evening was possible, which made us very happy. We will definitely come back, even though we are not from Oldenburg.

Food is still great, but prices are bottomless after the price increase. Alsatian classic now €14.50... VAT is no excuse either.

We have already been guests at Gaston twice and took advantage of the "all you can eat" offer. All tarte flambées we tried were very tasty and freshly prepared. We also really liked the selection of drinks. The service was great. The waiter was extremely attentive and always friendly. As soon as our boards were empty, we were promptly asked what our next wish was. The tarte flambées never took long to arrive either. The restaurant is very beautiful and modern, and everything is very clean and well maintained. We are happy to travel 85km for such a great restaurant and have already made a new reservation with friends. We are really looking forward to the next visit.

A beautiful and well-equipped restaurant. Map is manageable. Not too much and not too little. There is also something for vegetarians and vegans, which I think is great. Specials that change every month round the whole thing off. Service was super nice and quick. The time between starter and main course was a bit too long, so one star was deducted. But otherwise everything was great! We'd love to come back :)

The staff is very friendly. The restaurant is pleasantly furnished and the tables are far enough away so that you still have a feeling of privacy. There is actually something for everyone when it comes to food, whether it's savory, Mediterranean or sweet - everything is covered and for a fair price. There's no skimping on the drinks either, with a large selection of everything from classic soft drinks to delicious wines to homemade spritzers. And not only that, it is also very easy to reach thanks to the nearby bus stops, bicycle stands and parking spaces. I can only highly recommend a visit.

We were at the Gaston for the first time today. With friends, the “All You Can Eat” offer was ideal, as many of the variations could be tried. There was also a lot of chatting between rounds of ordering. Only the noise level (the restaurant was full) was now and then a little too high.

Leckeres Essen, freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung, tolles Ambiente. Etwas laut, wenn viel los ist, ist aber auszuhalten.

Sehr lecker. Freunliches Personal und gemütliches Ambiente. Sogar parken kann man in der Nähe.

Wir hatten das all you can eat Flammkuchen zu zweit. Dadurch, dass man sich immer einen teilen muss sitzt man auch länger...in unserem Fall drei Stunden. Das muss man mögen, uns hat es gefallen. Für hier oben sicher gut aber da ich aus der Nähe des Elsasses komme, kann ich versichern dass dies kein guter Flammkuchen ist. Der Teig, Fertigteig? Hatte auf jedenfall nicht mal im Ansatz etwas mit einem Flammkuchenteig zu tun. Wo war die Créme fraîche? Außerdem viel zu viel Speck drauf. Klingt jetzt hart aber der TK Flammkuchen aus dem Supermarkt kommt näher an einen Elsässer Flammkuchen heran... Die Preise sind in keinster Weise gerechtfertigt, weder für die Speisen noch für die Getränke. Wirkt leider alles sehr ideenlos, was schade ist, da das Konzept an sich gut ist.

Wir waren jetzt zweimal dort und es war jedes Mal super lecker. Die Kellner könnten etwas mehr auf leere Getränke achten, aber es ist immer wieder einen Besuch wert 😊

Schönes Ambiente, sehr leckere Flammkuchen, sowohl herzhafte als auch süße. Die Bedienung ist sehr aufmerksam und das Preis/Leistungs Verhältnis ist absolut in Ordnung. 22,50€ p.P. für ein All you can eat. Der Elsässer Deluxe ist wärmstens zu empfehlen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Super Service. Die Vorspeisen waren sehr lecker. Interessante und leckere Getränke und Schorlenauswahl. Die Flammkuchen waren auch sehr lecker.

Ein sehr schönes Ambiente mit sehr netten Service. Es gibt eine Menge Auswahl an Flammkuchen (normal, vegan und süß). All you can eat mit mehreren Personen lohnt sich um so mehr, da die verschiedenen Flammkuchen ausprobierten werden können. Eine kleine Spielecke für die Kleinen ist auch vorhanden.

Die Auswahl an Flammkuchen, sowohl für omnivor, vegetarisch und vegan lebende Menschen ist wirklich gut und die Flammkuchen schmecken fabelhaft! 🤤 Auf Wunsch werden die Flammkuchen auch auf die eigenen Vorlieben und Bedürfnisse angepasst! All you can eat Flammkuchen, auch in vegan möglich. Super lecker, sowohl die Flammkuchen, als auch die Cocktails. Die Pausen zwischen den Flammkuchen waren ab und zu nur etwas lang. Sonst alles top. Würde definitiv wiederkommen und es weiter empfehlen.

Leckere Flammkuchen in allen Varianten. Freundliche Bedienung. Schneller Service. Rechtzeitig reservieren ist ratsam, da meist gut besucht.

Die Flammkuchen im Gaston sind sehr lecker vor allem der Bärlauch-Flammkuchen (Tageskarte) und auch die süßen Flammkuchen waren sehr interessant und schmecken gut. Eine gute Idee ist es außerdem, Knoblauch zusätzlich zu bestellen. Das All You Can Eat-Angebot kann sich lohnen und ist eine schöne Idee für einen Abend mit Freunden. Einziger Minuspunkt ist, dass nach einigen Flammkuchen der Bestellabstand immer größer wurde, das war etwas schade. Ansonsten sehr lecker und zu empfehlen!

Leckere Flammkuchen, supernettes Personal

Wir haben im Gaston im Mai unsere Hochzeit gefeiert und sind absolut begeistert gewesen. Thilo und sein Team haben all unsere Wünsche möglich gemacht, ein erstklassiges Menü gezaubert und uns bis in die späte Nacht mit erstklassigen Drinks und 1A Service verwöhnt. Wir würden hier jederzeit wieder unsere Hochzeit feiern, vielleicht ja zum 10jährigen. ;-) Für 50 - 70 Personen ist das Gaston eine großartige Hochzeitslocation!

Für jede:n Flammkuchenliebhaber:in genau das richtige. Süße, herzhafte und auch “ausgefallenere” Kreationen sind jedes Mal aufs Neue beeindruckend lecker.
