Very nice, cozy atmosphere and very, very friendly and courteous staff. The food was absolutely great, only the meatballs and the bifteki were a bit dry. The gyro was excellent. Otherwise everything was great. Absolutely recommended!

Always tastes delicious and is always packed. Sometimes things move a bit quickly and you can hardly have a conversation between arriving, ordering and eating

Good morning, This was our first time here in Athens. The ambience is awesome. Very smartly furnished. Here you can eat indoors and outdoors. The service staff is friendly, attentive, competent and helpful. The food was very tasty and the portions are reasonable. We'd love to come back...

I only ordered something to pick up here once. Unfortunately, the food was thrown together completely wrong. Unfortunately, the sauces for the dishes were swapped, the problem with the story is that the meat was in the sauces (which would be correct if the sauces weren't swapped). It simply didn't match the types of meat chosen. I don't think we'll eat there again. Since we didn't eat there, I can't comment on the service or ambience, other than that it seemed busy and inviting. I don't want to judge badly, but unfortunately we were a little too disappointed the first time we ate it.

We spontaneously went to Athens today and were given a more than warm welcome. The food was absolutely delicious and I can say that because I was accompanied by a star chef myself. But what topped it all was the great service from naffi, who served us warmly throughout the evening and read our every wish. Go there, it's worth it!

We got a table spontaneously, which is usually not that easy. The boss himself seats the guests and ensures that everything is to their satisfaction. We had appetizer plates and a children's gyro. Extra requests were implemented without any problem. Both starter plates and gyros were very good. If we were able to spontaneously get a free table more often, we would certainly still be here more often. In any case, a very good Greek restaurant. Early reservation recommended.

It was our first time eating there and we had high expectations based on the good reviews. Unfortunately, these were not fulfilled at all. The fries and the gyros were totally over salted. The pork on the skewer was totally dry. Tzatziki was supposed to be present at the dish but we had to ask about it first. After a complaint I got a new meal, which was better but still not worth the money. My husband's minced steak was okay. We were there for the first and unfortunately for the last time.

There were 8 of us, one of whom had a walker, and we got a very good place. The service was very good. One waiter stood out exceptionally due to his very friendly, nice and funny manner. Wonderful food, the calamari was perfectly fried (buttery soft) and everything else was on point. Just great.

We were completely impressed by the Greek restaurant Athens! The service was simply fantastic - the staff were always attentive, friendly and accommodating. The food was an absolute delight, freshly prepared and authentically Greek. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening. We will definitely be back and can highly recommend this restaurant! 5 Stars!

I have been a guest in Athens or Athos many times and I have to say that I have never had better service, better food or ambience anywhere. Really always a great experience and worth every penny.

We were visiting friends in Bad Zwischenahn and were there with them on a Saturday evening. Only possible with reservation. As usual with Greeks - full house. :-) Many guests present. The restaurant was recommended to us. We weren't disappointed. The ambience is an upscale Greek restaurant. The staff was always nearby, attentive, very nice and friendly! The food came quickly and was tasty and 'unfortunately' very plentiful. The prices are currently moderate. Basically worth recommending in any case. Hopefully it won't be the last time we eat there. :-)

Schönes Ambiente, hohe Gastfreundlichkeit und guter Service. Leider war aber unser bestelltes Essen handwerklich voll daneben. Wir hatten den Ouzo vom Haus noch nicht mal getrunken da kam auch schon der Salat als Vorspeise und das Hauptgericht. Alles sehr übersichtlich. Den typischen Griechischen Grill Teller gibt es wohl seit Corona und der Energie Krise nicht mehr. Die Speisen auf den Athen Teller und Sparta Teller waren lauwarm und trocken und das Bifteki bröckelte beim Anschnitt auseinander. Das Suflaki war so trocken, das es sich schwer vom Spieß löste. Die 3 kleinen Stückchen Leber waren perfekt zubereitet ( geht doch ). Wir hatten den Eindruck dass einige Produkte wegen der sehr schnellen Zubereitung vorgekocht und schon gegrillt waren und nicht à la minute zubereitet wurden. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist für die Qualität überzogen.

Nice ambience, high level of hospitality and good service. Unfortunately, the food we ordered was completely off the mark. We hadn't even drunk the house ouzo yet when the salad came as a starter and the main course. Everything very clear. The typical Greek grill plate no longer exists since Corona and the energy crisis. The food on the Athens plates and Sparta plates were lukewarm and dry and the bifteki crumbled apart when cut. The suflaki was so dry that it was difficult to come off the skewer. The 3 small pieces of liver were perfectly prepared (it works). We had the impression that some products were pre-cooked and already grilled due to the very quick preparation and were not prepared à la minute. The price-performance ratio is excessive for the quality.

There is definitely no better Greek restaurant than Athens Restaurant. All the employees are polite, friendly, accommodating and on point. The kitchen does 100% + under sometimes high demand and manages to serve the dishes to the point.

The man with the glasses who gave us the second steak after taking the wrong order was very rude to us and spoke to us in a disgusting tone, which I don't understand. So, if you pay €32 for a steak, you have to pay for it out of goodwill. And if not, you should still be polite. Food was OK, but service was a disaster. You shouldn't ask guests whether they're “finished” in an intrusive manner, but rather whether you can clear up.

We were here by chance on the way back to Bremen and were able to get a table that had just become available in the restaurant, which was full to capacity. The food is great, came quickly and was very tasty. Since we sat in the back corner of a separate room, service didn't come by as often later in the evening. Otherwise the visit was very, very good.

We regularly eat here with great anticipation :) The rooms are beautifully and lovingly designed, so that we always feel comfortable. The service is very friendly and the food comes lightning fast. The dishes are beautifully prepared and taste impeccable. For us by far the best Greek in Oldenburg! The vegetarian options are also varied and highly recommended :)

The best Greek far and wide. Often come here from Garrel to visit the tastiest Greek food. The ambience and service are first class and the food is simply delicious. Bifteki was very special, I have never eaten anything as good as here.

A very friendly staff, attentive and entertaining. There is a delicious ouzo to welcome you. The drinks come quickly after you order. The food is delicious. What I personally found stressful was the noise in this restaurant. But it was also full.

We were here on Saturday and loved it. Both the service, the food and the ambience were very nice. The waiters were very attentive. The food came after a pleasant wait, was very tasty, warm and beautifully presented. So far the best Greek we have found in Oldenburg.

You call during telephone hours and no one answers. While waiting days to make a reservation. In the end you are left completely empty and there is no communication about what the problem is or what the problem is.

The best Greek restaurant in Oldenburg. A table reservation is recommended, the restaurant is almost always very busy and yet not too loud. The ambience is very tasteful and cozy. Always very good, consistent quality of food (even extra requests are taken into account without any problems) and people who always welcome you in a friendly and smiling manner, it's almost like coming home. You are a great team, stay as you are.

I was in Athens for the first time yesterday. Full points. Delicious food, super nice service and a nice ambience, with an open fireplace. I haven't experienced such a good restaurant and such friendly staff in a long time. They know gastronomy and they live gastronomy, you can tell that straight away. I'll be back.

Nice ambience...if you're not sitting next to the open fire and want to smoke everything or make a fir/spruce infusion. The service was very friendly...unfortunately, the drinks we ordered were not served and no more questions were asked about the food. The food came to the table very quickly after ordering. It's almost too fast...you're not on the run and want to be served and eat comfortably. Portions borderline for the money. If you're really hungry, you should order an appetizer. The taste wasn't exactly great. The restaurant was fully booked and therefore noisy. It was very nice that an ouzo was served as a welcome at the beginning, but a non-alcoholic option would also have been nice since we were there by car.

Wonderful, great atmosphere and absolutely super friendly staff. We were there spontaneously today for my partner's birthday. The table was decorated and there was dessert on the house 😍you just feel at home and we definitely always like to come back. Thanks to the whole team ! 🫶

We were there for a family dinner and overall it was a very successful evening and we can recommend the restaurant. The only point of criticism: the children's portion of pasta was really very small for the price and our son (8 years old) had to eat with us (even though he doesn't eat much).

Ich würde 6 Sterne geben wenn ich könnte. Essen schmeckt immer super, das Ambiente ist Klasse und der Service ist wahrscheinlich der beste in der ganzen Region.

Großartiges Restaurant. Wir sind Stammgäste. Einziger Kritikpunkt wäre die Musik. Es läuft immer Radio, warum? Verkehrsfunk, Nachrichten oder sehr gemischte Musik. Wenn das noch geändert wird, dann ist wirklich nichts mehr zu kritisieren. :)

Sehr lecker, gutes Personal. Gut gelungenes Update im Design. Gehört zu den Top Adressen in Oldenburg. Update Juni 2023: Nun haben wir auch die tolle Restaurant Terrasse besucht und es nicht bereut. Das Essen Top Top Top wie immer und hier war der Super Service, anders als in anderen Locations, auch auf der Terrasse immer präsent, aufmerksam, kommunikativ, ohne dabei jemals aufdringlich zu sein. Danke für die gute Zeit!

Wir waren am Samstag um 17:20 da.Wir sind sehr freundlich begrüßt worden. Obwohl alle Tische reserviert waren,haben wir doch einen Platz bekommen.Die Bedienung war sehr nett,das Essen ein Traum. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder aber vorher rufen wir lieber an und reservieren wir ein Tisch. Es scheint dass das Restaurant sehr beliebt ist was mich nicht wirklich überrascht.

Waren am Samstag abend da. Schönes Ambiente, gemütliche Atmosphäre und freundliches/aufmerksames Personal, gerne für einen Spaß zu haben sehr locker und familiär gehalten. Die Speisen sind reichhaltig, nicht überwürzt und schön zart gebraten.

Reichhaltige Karte. Unheimlich freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung. Das Essen ist wirklich sehr lecker, egal was von der Karte bestellt wird. Leider ist es im Restaurant ziemlich laut.

Tolles Essen, leider alles sehr hektisch. Freundliches Personal. Aber im Restaurant ist es sehr laut. Trotzdem sehr zu empfehlen.

Sehr entspannte und harmonisches Ambiente! Das Personal war einfach Klasse. Die Angestellten dort waren sehr freundlich und waren zu Späßen aufgelegt, welches uns sehr zugesagt hatte. Das bestellte Essen ist unvergleichlich gut. Es ging schon mit der Vorspeise los, welche uns die Sprache verschlagen hat weil diese so unglaublich gut war. Das Hauptgericht war einfach nur Perfekt, mehr braucht man nicht sagen. Preis/Leistung absolut empfehlenswert. Wir kommen wieder!

Wir waren zu Besuch bei Freunden, die uns dann am Abend ins Athen mitgenommen haben. Toller Service, hervorragendes Essen und eine angenehme Atmosphäre. Absolut zu empfehlen. Beim nächsten Besuch im Norden sind wir wieder da.👍

Reservierung hat geklappt, leider war es dann an diesem Abend sehr gut besucht, um nicht zu sagen innen und draußen fast überfüllt. Ein recht großes Lokal eben. Alles sehr hektisch, die Bedienung überfordert , die eher relativ kleine Küche wohl auch! Gyros hatten wir schon besser, das kurzgebratene Fleisch am Spieß schon „zu durch“, nicht mehr weit von einer Schuhsohle entfernt - ein Problem bei recht vielen Griechischen Restaurants und der Balkanküche - schade! Wir werden uns hinsichtlich des Restaurants künftig wohl anderweitig orientieren! Das „Elena“,Nähe Marschweg-Stadion, habe ich in besserer Erinnerung.

Wir waren viele Jahre bei Griechischen lokalen in Deutschland raus. . . . vom Restaurant Athen sind wir absoluter Fan von ;-) Angefangen von dem warmen Ambiente, über die mega freundlichen Mitarbeiter bis hin zum köstlichen essen passt hier alles. Die Speisen sind frisch zubereitet und von toller Qualität - die Portionen gut aber nicht so überladen. Und vor allem - mega lecker. Für uns immer ein Highlight wenn wir von der Insel aufs Festland nach Oldenburg kommen. Fazit: Uns werdet ihr in 2023 das ein oder andere mal sehen. Wir freuen uns.

Nach einem Restaurant gesucht, in dem wir gut essen und die Gesellschaft unserer Tochter, die aktuell ihren Bachelor in Oldenburg schreibt, genießen können. Ein Restaurant betreten, dass unsere Erwartungen in Gänze übertroffen hat !!! Ein wunderschöne Ausstattung, in der man sich direkt wohlfühlt und verweilen möchte!! In der Mitte des Raums ein Kaminfeuer, rundherum eine heimelige Atmosphäre. Die Mitarbeiter - jeder - unsagbar freundlich. Nicht gespielt freundlich sondern herrlich freundlich mit einem wunderbaren herrlichen Humor !!! Nach einem anstrengenden Tag auf der Arbeit die perfekte Atmosphäre, um zu entspannen und runterzukommen!! Danke dafür !! Das Essen: der Hammer !!! Leber mag nicht jedermanns Ding sein, aber der Koch hat sie perfekt zubereitet. So zart. Das Tier ist nicht zweimal gestorben. Das komplette Essen, auch das vom Rest der Familie, so lecker. Optisch super angerichtet, und was noch wichtiger ist - so lecker !!! Die Preise : nicht überteuert! Aber - wir hätten auch mehr bezahlt, denn rundherum hat sich das Team das verdient !!!
