Cedars never disappoints. The taste of both their doner kebab and mixed grill platter far surpasses the competition. Everything is always freshly prepared with homemade sauces and freshly grilled meat. I'd say you can get the best doner kebab, shawarma, or mixed grill platter in all of Oldenburg here.

We picked up a vegetable kebab to takeaway today. We've enjoyed Cedars in the past, and I was looking forward to the delicious kebab to start the weekend. Unfortunately, the meat was extremely tough and dry; it was completely inedible. I was disappointed, especially considering the price.

Good restaurant and decent value for money. Sometimes a bit crowded and therefore a bit noisy.

We ordered chicken kebab, the meat was so dry and cold, the kebab was by far the worst I have ever eaten for the money, hardly any sauce and the meat was cut too thick, it had probably been sitting there for a while.

Friday, around 5 p.m. The service was pleasant and friendly. I personally enjoyed the signature dish, and the chicken kebab plate was also excellent. The warm bread that came with it was delicious. We enjoy being guests here!

Good food, from kebabs to vegetarian (maybe vegan too?), good for takeaway and also for eating in. Delicious and prepared quite quickly. Also, "only" a few dishes, but excellent taste and attractively presented. [Eat with your eyes, and here, it's a treat for fellow diners, top!] We had the two most expensive plate dishes, each for around €26, a good selection and beautifully presented. We were very satisfied and will definitely come back and eat here again!! We really liked it. The decor is more like a good snack bar, but still okay. There's also a quiet extra room further back, which is a good thing. Also particularly special is the really well-protected terrace with about ten tables. Very good in spring, summer, and fall. But also good for use on nice winter days.

Best desserts I've ever had good kebabs top quality

The signature kebab was incredibly delicious. I happened to see it on Instagram while I was in Oldenburg, and I have to admit, the wait has never been so worth it. A taste explosion.

Cedars in Oldenburg impresses across the board. The food is outstanding – fresh, flavorful, and prepared with great attention to detail. The new signature kebab is a real highlight: perfectly seasoned and perfectly combined. The layout and design of the shop are also well-executed, making you feel immediately at home. Another plus point are the desserts – varied, creative, and just as delicious as the main courses. Combined with the friendly service, this makes for a truly harmonious package. Highly recommended!

I've eaten delicious things, but the signature doner kebab from @cedars_oldenburg in Oldenburg is unparalleled! I've rarely eaten a doner kebab and savored every bite after another! The simplicity of the ingredients and the entire dish as a whole brings a depth, as if every bite was made on the Riviera in the Orient. Ma'Sha'Allah! Great work, great team, fantastic atmosphere. Only the waiter with the blue eyes: cheeky but also personable!

Stylishly decorated. Personally, the food wasn't convincing. We had kebabs. For my taste, there are alternatives in Oldenburg.

The chicken was inedible, and when I spoke to the chef, he said it was intentional. It was very unappetizing.

Cedars impresses with authentic Lebanese cuisine of the highest quality. The dishes are fresh, aromatic, and prepared with great attention to detail. A pleasant ambiance, attentive service, and excellent value for money make this restaurant a definite recommendation in Oldenburg.

I ordered a chicken doner, but the meat was inedible and I'm pretty sure it wasn't fresh. I wouldn't recommend this doner.

In my opinion, this is the best kebab plate in town! The portion is large, the cocktail sauce is amazing, and they serve it with delicious flatbread. The staff is super friendly and always in a good mood. It can be a bit difficult to find a parking space directly in front of the restaurant by car – if in doubt, just park across the street at the gas station. Since the renovation (by the way, it's become a really chic place – hats off!), we've been here 5-6 times now and we always enjoy coming back.

The food was great, the service was very good, and we didn't have to wait long, but the main reason I was there was for the hyped Cedric Grollet Mango, and it was a 10/10. You have to be very quick to get it.

In my opinion, one star is a lot for rude behavior from employees, but unfortunately I can't rate without giving a star.

Hello dear friends of kebab culture, Our focus today is on Cedar's, and I have to honestly say, this place is really something. From the layered veal skewer to the crispy-on-the-outside, fluffy-on-the-inside bread... I can tell you it's truly a top-notch place. At just under €9, it's not exactly cheap, but it's definitely worth a visit! And let's be honest: The staff alone is reason enough to come back, because I've never been smiled at for so long... My Partner like going to this place and have introduce me to the place, according to him the Food here is nice and Tasty... But after I have aet severale time at Cedars I got my own experience with there Food and I am sorry to said that it doesn't tast at all....catastrophique....so at the end of the day ,my Partner have realised that too after he got cold and untasty Food 2 time one after the other.... So we decided to go someweher else.

In my opinion, Cédars in Oldenburg is one of the best kebab shops in the city. The kebab is incredibly delicious – the meat is juicy and well-seasoned, the bread is crispy, and the ingredients are always fresh. You can tell that quality is important here. Ordered two doner kebab plates. Had to wait almost 20 minutes (the place was empty). The meat was completely cold and the salad was dry. Five fries for €13.50? No thanks.

I was there yesterday for the second time after a long time. The first time, I had to wait a very, very long time for the food. I had the impression that blood relatives were given preferential treatment and got their food faster. Yesterday I had a Rollo for €9.90 (expensive). I had a small special request, which I mentioned twice, but it wasn't fulfilled. Maybe they didn't understand me? My conclusion: I'll never go there again and can't recommend the place. We have enough such "places" in Oldenburg where you can eat Rollo, etc.

Here you'll find a delicious, quick selection of dishes. Cedars is constantly evolving. It used to be a simple snack bar, but now the decor and service are more like a restaurant.

We ate there. We had to wait almost an hour for pizzas. The rest of the food arrived on time. The pizzas were excellent, though, as always. It's a shame that, given such a long wait, they didn't offer a discount on the price by giving customers a free gift.

Essen sehr gut, Preis gehoben, aber noch ok. Was mich nervt: Wenn man zum Mitnehmen vorbestellt, wird immer erst mit der Essenszubereitung angefangen, wenn man dort ist und man muss lange warten. Die angegebene Abholzeit wird dementsprechend nicht eingehalten.

Were there for the first time and totally loved it, the price-performance ratio was great and the staff were very, very friendly. Unfortunately it failed. Carelessly stuffed kebab. Forgot the sauce, just meat on the bottom and just salad on top. Noodle kebab casserole tastes just like the pasta Cabonara!?! Instead of ordering Uludag Original, I only received a copy of the drink. I'll invest 48 euros somewhere else next time. Unfortunately totally resistant to criticism.

The food is delicious. The atmosphere in the restaurant is very pleasant – warm, inviting and tastefully decorated. You immediately feel comfortable and can enjoy the food to the fullest. The service was also extremely friendly and attentive.

Great kebab. Not your average kebab. The meat is very good. And the combination of the kebab is truly fantastic. A kebab like this is hard to beat anywhere. The bread is crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. It tastes really good, too. I've had good experiences every time I've tried it. The sauces are especially good, so I wouldn't skip them.

I ordered a vegetable kebab in which, in addition to the large amount of iceberg lettuce, two slices of tomatoes and a few onions, there was also a bit of cabbage at the end. Cedars vegetable kebab is absolutely recommended! The kebab was ready in a very short time and had a really excellent topping - no ingredients were spared here. Great taste, fresh ingredients and perfect seasoning. Although the price is slightly higher at €9.90, the quality and portion size absolutely justify it. If you value a really good vegetable kebab, you should definitely stop by here!

One of the few good veal kebabs in Oldenburg. It would be great if you would deliver at some point, then I would order often.

I was there for the first time today with a friend. We ate a kebab in a bun. A huge plus point for the roll - finally something different from 99% of the kebabs in Oldenburg. Delicious coffee. We'll definitely be back!

I ordered 2 doner kebabs and paid €20.80 with cheese and 2 sauces. The kebabs were very dry, hardly any sauce and the cheese was also on the low burner. Meat itself wasn't really meat, at least it was only 40 percent, and very gristly and very little. I would say the pictures on the internet don't match what you get at all. So if you go there twice it's your own fault, I was there once and will never go there again. It was a total disappointment. Doner shouldn't be more expensive than €5-6 more, it's not worth it.

After the renovation the store looks beautiful!! The food was top!! Always happy!!!!

I was there on a Thursday at 6:30 p.m. I ordered a kebab, unfortunately veal would take at least 30 minutes. And this at prime time?! That doesn't work. Unfortunately, the chicken wasn't cooked through properly, which was noticeable in the taste. The price is too high, asking €2.20 for an Ayran is too much.

We come here every few months and take something with us for the journey home (Osnabrücker Land). Always delicious and very friendly!

Apparently something has happened in the last few months... Went there today, took a seat outside, was ignored for 18 minutes, even though staff came by 3 times and looked out. Besides me, there were 3 x 2 other guests sitting outside, some of whom then went in to pay because no one was coming out. In any case, I moved on without ordering and had lunch elsewhere. The store itself was unusually empty, so it couldn't have been due to stress or anything like that.

Too expensive. Food is good, but not so special that you can pay over 10 euros for a kebab.

The food itself was made very quickly, we only waited 15 minutes and ordered for 6 people. But then it was also cold. In addition, every bread was different and me and my family felt really bad afterwards. We can actually do a lot and have also eaten at many restaurants/döner shops. We/I often had cases where we noticed that the kebab wasn't that good, but in this case it was much more extreme. We all felt bad after eating. I thought it would pass but it's already been 6 hours. Margin intestinal problems and nausea are associated with all of us. I thought that had to be said because it doesn't work at all. If it had only happened to one of us, we would have called it an “exception” or a sensitive stomach, but it happened to all of us, which I found impossible. I'm a kebab lover and that's exactly why I had to eat there. I'm not only disappointed but stunned because - as I said - I've already eaten in many places and tried very bad ones in between, but I personally found it all at once much.

Discovered my love for chicken shawarma and trilece here! Service is super friendly and accommodating, even if finances don't cooperate. Afterwards I wanted a piece of Trilece, but unfortunately I didn't have any cash with me and the minimum card order value is €10. Was there for the 2nd time. The first time I tried the falafel roll I thought it was OK, but the quantity wasn't really filling. But the vegetable kebab is really great and not a run-of-the-mill kebab. The price is ok for that too. The service is good, although in a "fast-food restaurant" I don't expect service at the table with a menu and order taking. You can sit outside which is nice.

We were there today and ordered food to take away. The staff is nice there, we waited about 15 minutes. The store is beautifully decorated, inside and out. Overall it looks very inviting. We ordered a Turkish pizza and two pommdöner. The Turkish pizza was very tasty, but unfortunately the pommdöner was barely edible. The fries were undercooked and completely soaked in fat. The meat was very tough and therefore really not tasty.. a shame because we were so positive because of the nice atmosphere :(

Unfortunately ordered to take away and only saw it at home. Some of the calzones were so black that they were definitely not edible.

I ate the pizza here. It was really tasty but the pizza was just way too burnt. In my opinion that doesn't work at all.

Nice little restaurant, we were there in a larger group (9 people) and were able to get a place together at short notice. There was no star deduction because our pizzas unfortunately turned a little black in some places. All in all, the store is still worth recommending!

Cadars' team is really friendly and attentative. The dishes a beautifully arranged. The food was for my tast a bit on the dry side. This is an alcohol-free place with a good atmosphere which I like and recommend.

I've pre-ordered food there 3 times now and otherwise it was 5/10, i.e. not good but okay. This time it was a complete impudence, my kebab was completely cold (it was there on time), the minced meat (cheap product) was completely unseasoned. It's the first time in my life that I haven't finished a kebab and I have the feeling that tomorrow I'll have problems with just a few bites. I can't possibly explain how they got 4.3 / 5 stars (probably bought) Addendum: After a harsh but fair evaluation, the store threatened me with a beating, very serious (see screenshot)

The worst investment was €9.40 for a Cigköfte Dürum. It felt like there was nothing in it except a spicy cream and iceberg lettuce. The store used to be good, but now everything is expensive and only consists of iceberg lettuce. But a nice atmosphere. But I don't think that should be the right criterion for such a store.

I have often received the wrong order, but only marginally. The kebab pocket consists only of veal and iceberg lettuce. The flatbread is tasteless and does not seem to be homemade and purchased. Chicken seems to be sold out very early, so unfortunately it comes down to the minced veal (you could probably calculate more generously) . I would be interested to know whether the non-chicken version is legally a “doner kebab” or rather a “rotisserie with unknown meat quality”. The kebab actually fills you up but that’s it. The ambience is okay, but it doesn't really justify the high prices (€9 per kebab). For the same money you can get less ambience elsewhere, but much better food. In general, a shift in business priorities should be advised. (Food quality should be more important than ambience)

I ordered a Dürum and a kebab to take away for €18. Both are really mid-range, which is why I don't think the price is fair. My order for the kebab was without tomatoes and only cocktail sauce. There were tomatoes in the kebab and no cocktail sauce. Simply disappointing and far too little...

I've been there a few times now to form my own opinion. I find the price (despite the pricing policy) much too excessive... Just under 10 euros for a chicken Dürüm is simply not worth it. Apart from that, I don't think it's particularly good It's a shame somehow. Maybe think again about whether the prices really have to be that way

Ordered 2 doner kebabs and a drink for me and my son. I never got the drink but it was charged at the end. When I asked to withdraw the drink, I was met with a dirty look and no comment. Regarding the kebab, I think, and this is just my opinion, 8.90 euros for a kebab that is barely filled is completely excessive. What's more, I don't like the meat at all. My son had the same opinion. I even thought it tasted slightly old. Bread was also way too crusty, you could hardly bite it off. A pity
