Best kebab in town! Delicious Turkish specialties and also good pizza (e.g. doner pizza). The guys behind the counter are always friendly and ready for a joke. If the kids are there when you pick them up, there's always a lollipop and a Capri Sun on the house 👍🏻

WOW!!!! We just wanted to go out for sushi. Nobody told me that you have tears in your eyes because of the excitement and joy of what you have brought to the table. Super tasty, super fresh and I can still barely find words because of my excitement. I'LL COME BACK!!! Very nice and courteous service. You rightly have a reputation for offering the best sushi nationwide.

A nice “beer bar” in the Westend. There is a large selection of beers, 20 on tap alone. In addition, many cans and bottles. There is also food, but I didn't try it. The service is nice and attentive. Only the ambience is a bit simple and you could do more with it. I was there on a Thursday evening and the bar was rather moderately busy.

At first glance a nice terrace. The tables are huge but uncomfortable for the legs. You would have to wait 15-20 minutes for an unfriendly employee to come and take your order, and even longer to pay. Service just terrible. Quality of meat lower than frozen all inclusive food. Wines taste like vinegar and cost from €7 per glass (I estimate a bottle costs €3-4). Prices don't even correspond to half of what you have on your plate. Most of the things on the small mixed plate were burnt. Lamb 3 tiny pieces on a small wooden skewer. One of them is full of fat and costs a whopping €25-35 per person, although it doesn't come with any sauce or salad. Bread cold and hard to chew, fries just the same. Staff overwhelmed and somehow without desire. Audience: mostly (older) people who don't pay attention to quality. No feeling of Turkish hospitality that we always enjoy. We have never experienced anything like this in a snack bar. So never again!!!

The walls are decorated with vibrant colors and artistic wall hangings that fill the room with a cheerful yet relaxed mood. It feels like immersing yourself in a piece of Africa - a place where culture and hospitality go hand in hand. I would particularly like to highlight the fufu that I ordered. This traditional African dish was not only perfectly prepared, but also a real taste explosion. The consistency was wonderful and it combined perfectly with the various sauces and side dishes. I absolutely loved the combination of flavors and the attention to detail that went into the dishes. You can tell right away that they cook with passion here and I can't wait to come back to try out more specialties. The hospitality of the staff is another highlight of my visit. From the moment we walked in the door we were warmly welcomed. The staff were always friendly, courteous and tried extremely hard to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Time was taken to introduce us to the various dishes and make recommendations that further increased our culinary enjoyment. This personal touch and authentic hospitality contribute significantly to the positive atmosphere of the restaurant. In summary, the African Violet in Frankfurt is not only an excellent restaurant, but also a place where you feel at home. The combination of delicious cuisine, especially the great fufu, the warm hospitality of the staff and the inviting African ambience makes the visit an unforgettable experience. I can only warmly recommend it and look forward to my next visit!
