THE DIFFERENT KEBAB in Frankfurt am Main

I went on a Friday afternoon at 17h30. The server was very patient with my lack of German. Electronic menu rotates between German and English. Service was fast. I ordered a beef bowl, portion was big, plenty of beef, salad was fresh, it was delicious. The restaurant was clean, did not have traditional kebab places’ greasy walls. There is a sink to wash hands!

February 2023: The best vegetarian kebab I've ever eaten. Grilled vegetables, grilled halloumi, delicious sauce. A bit pricey, but good quality. I'd like to have it again.

The food is good, but the service is almost zero and there is no toilet.

This was our first time here, and it was one of the best kebabs I've ever had. I highly recommend it!

This was one of my favorite places to eat in Frankfurt. I have been a regular and have recommended this place to so many people. Their behavior has not been good last few times. Once I asked them to give me 1 sauce instead of 3 but give it to me separately and not inside the sandwich, I explained the logic as well but the guy said they charge 1 € to give the sauce outside of sandwich, which makes no sense. This makes them not so customer friendly, specially when I have been going to them very often for a long time. May be time for me to try some other restaurant.

I ordered a durum along with four kebabs and waited about 10 minutes. When the kebabs were finally ready, I was suddenly informed that there was no more durum. Why don't you say it as soon as you notice it? Instead, I had to wait while everyone else ate - and I came away empty-handed. This is extremely poor service and shows great indifference towards customers. Something like this simply shouldn't happen!

I ordered a chicken box - the packaging was heavily soiled with sauce, as was the fork. My polite request for a clean box was responded to in an unfriendly and disrespectful manner. The food wasn't particularly good and was prepared very slowly despite there being fewer guests. Hygiene standards were not met.

I had the falafel grilled vegetable kebab in whole wheat bread. It was a large portion and very well filled. The hummus and avocado cream as a sauce were very good.

For just under 10 euros I won't buy a salad/vegetable bread with very little meat...because 100g of meat should be the main ingredient, not a cosmetic side dish...we won't be coming back for a while!

Walked in with the children in the middle of carnival - surprisingly discovered! Belongs to the other one on Mainzer Landstrasse. Same quality: super fresh, super tasty! Not that heavy, feels light on the stomach. Super nice staff!

I had an amazing experience at The Different Kebab! The kebabs were fresh, juicy, and full of flavor. The meat was perfectly cooked, and the sauces complemented it so well. After a long training course, I went to The different Kebab for dinner at rush hour. I was greeted warmly and asked nicely about my selection. My chicken kebab bowl took less than 10 minutes to prepare, was beautifully prepared and really tasty. The salad and sauces in particular were very fresh and tasty. I can only recommend the snack bar.

I was greeted with a “friendly takeaway only” on Saturdays at 8:42 p.m. No opening times or information about the owner on the outside. Is it a matter of luck to be successful here? Order placed, beef was out, the rest of the chicken was shared by all the outstanding orders. My chicken kebab looked the same. I would estimate 85% vegetables/salad, the rest was shared by sauce, bread and meat👎 I specially ordered without peppers because I have an allergic reaction to them. No response from the seller. After the third bite of the vegetables I noticed that there were peppers in them, but unfortunately it was already too late for me! To be honest, I can't tell the difference, except when it's particularly customer-unfriendly. Luckily there are enough alternatives in Frankfurt 👎

Great kebab! The price-performance ratio is more than fair, and thanks to the large selection of fresh vegetables, different sauces and proteins, you could enjoy a different kebab every day. The quality of the meat is top – you can tell that they serve sliced ​​meat and not minced meat. Friendly Frankfurt service, beautiful decoration and a pleasant atmosphere. The food was absolutely delicious! We had the halloumi bowl and chicken/beef combo bowl, both with french fries. The only downside was the music choice. Many of the songs had a lot of cursing in English. With two young children eating with us, we would have rather had something a bit less crass playing on the speakers.

The food is cheap and clean. There are three kinds of bread and 6 kinds of sauces to choose from. I chose yogurt with avocado. It didn’t taste greasy. The chicken was slightly dry but very flavorful. It's a little different from what Turks are used to. The chicken doner I bought as a bowl was delicious, but I can't say the same for the doner kebab.

Terrible falafel like pieces of rocks! I ordered falafel bowl with fries and the fries were buried under the salad that made the fries wet and tasting awful. The falafel lumps are very hard balls which is not how falafel is supposed to be made or taste! On top of that food was delivered cold! Never again!

Really very tasty kebab, in a different style. I can highly recommend the bowl - tastes incredible!! Atmosphere is that of a kebab shop - but still beautifully decorated. There is even a sink right next to the seating area - which is really a blessing after being in downtown Frankfurt.

Der Geschmack macht dem Namen allen Ehre, besser als in Berlin. Man hat die Wahl aus Weizen oder Vollkornbrot, 6 verschiedene hausgemachte Soßen und Hühnchen oder Kalbfleisch. Mein Highlight das Grillgemüse wie in Berlin. Preis-Leistung ist super! Alles in allem eine 10/10!

Ich war heute wie schon oft mit meiner Familie bei euch essen. Leider wurde ich von einen eurer mitarbeiter sehr unfreundlich, schon frech behandelt und nur weil ich dachte, dass das Essen, dass an der Theke stand meins wäre. Als ich es nehmen wollte, sagte er zu in einem aggressive Ton, hier mach mal lagsam, dass ist nicht dein essen. Als ich dann zu ihn sagte warum er so mit mir redet, sagte er nur, dass ich unormal wäre und ich der jenige bin, der aggressiv ist. Und als wir uns in der Nähe der Theke setzen, hörten wir, wie sich mitarbeiter mit dem Kassierer über uns lustig machte. Der den ich meinte war heute um 13 Uhr dort und hatte kurze Haare und einen bart. Der Kassierer hatte keinen bart aber kurze Haare. Also das leider das letzt mal das ich dort essen gehe und ich habe immer viel geld dort gelassen. Ich als Kunde, finde, dass ich mir sowas nicht bieten lassen muss.

The food was delicious and fresh with lots of ingredients. There was little sauce on it (I didn't see it or taste it.) The restaurant was modernly furnished, unfortunately the tables weren't clean and there was no toilet, which was difficult for me as a visitor to Frankfurt.

Although the state building authority requires a toilet to be provided where there is a seat, unfortunately this kebab shop does not do so. Food is pretty good.

By far the best kebab in Frankfurt

To be honest, I didn't understand what was supposed to be different about this kebab. I ordered a beef kebab. I doubt that all the customers before and after me had also ordered beef kebab, because the meat was always cut from the two rotisserie spies, no matter what kind of kebab you ordered. In the kebab itself there was literally only one piece of grilled pepper, zucchini and eggplant. I know other shops that do more. For the price I would have expected more or I was missing the “different”. But fries and wedges are very tasty there.

Good products and many variations, ideal for a quick meal but without sacrificing quality. In addition to the kebab, there is also a choice of alternative products (halloumi and falafel not bad), and in general they have a lot of vegetables to accompany. However, the best thing is the bread, especially the wholemeal bread: you can see that it is an artisanal product. It's just a shame that there is no bathroom, which is needed in a place with inside and outside seating.

Disaster!!!! Last night we ordered two kebabs with whole grain bread WITHOUT tomatoes and a fries with the garlic sauce. The food was ready quickly and we ordered it to take away. When we were at home and were just about to unpack the kebab, we saw that our fries and sauce were missing and both of our kebabs were full of tomatoes on top and I clearly mentioned 3 times please without tomatoes because I don't eat them can and cannot tolerate. The man who prepared this kebab for us looked at the note 4 times in front of us and didn't mention anything when we had the bag with the food in our hands. Really annoying, instead of telling the truth and giving us the money for the fries, he smiled at us and tried not to look in the bag because I was looking for served ones. I called and no one answered and today I also called and there is still no one answering! I want my money back! That was 08/22/24 towards the end of the day.

Very special vegetable kebab. You can choose between wheat and wholemeal bread. There are various sauces to choose from. Overall, a good kebab, but my expectations of a vegetable kebab with chicken were similar to “Mustafa's vegetable kebab” from Berlin, unfortunately there weren't enough vegetables. First of all, don't let the price put you off. For what you get, it's definitely worth it! From the option of having your kebab served in wholemeal bread to the fact that sheep's cheese is included, you also get a lot on offer in between. Frankfurt, Saturday afternoon at just under 30 degrees in the shade. The store: full, the employees: totally relaxed and do their job as if they had never done anything else. The colleague at the checkout, with a smile like the sun on his face, takes my order, the guys at the counter work in unison in a good mood, picking up kebab after kebab and bowl after bowl. Fresh vegetables paired with juicy meat, plus delicious grilled vegetables with a selection of sauces that is impressive, result in perhaps the best kebab in the city.
