THE DIFFERENT KEBAB in Frankfurt am Main

Ich bin mir nicht sicher, ob der Mann der Besitzer war, aber er war sehr freundlich. Wir blieben mit unseren zwei Kindern eine ganze Weile dort, und er gab uns sogar netterweise eine Portion frisch gebackene Pommes frites gratis. Das Lokal lief schon recht gut, mit vielen Einheimischen, von denen einige wohl Stammgäste waren. Er räumte nach unserem Essen aufmerksam Teller und Flaschen ab. Absolut empfehlenswert! Es liegt außerdem ganz in der Nähe der römischen Kathedrale.

Das ist ein super Dönerladen in der Nähe des Römerplatzes. Unser Reiseführer hatte ihn uns empfohlen; ich wollte schon immer mal das *C*re probieren, aber dieser Laden bot etwas ganz anderes, Einzigartiges und wirklich Köstliches. Meine Begleiter bestellten sogar Bowls und Döner zum Mitnehmen, und weil alles so gut war, aßen wir am Ende mehr, als wir eigentlich essen konnten. Selbst die Döner zum Mitnehmen waren so lecker, dass wir unbedingt wieder hinwollten. Die Portionen sind größer, als sie auf dem Foto aussehen. Ich denke, eine Portion reicht genau für zwei Personen. Wir bestellten unwissentlich jeder nur ein Gericht. Es gab einen Grund, warum die Bedienung uns mehrmals fragte, ob die Bestellung stimmte, haha. Letztendlich war es aber fast dasselbe, als hätte jeder nur ein Gericht gegessen. Ich habe diesen Laden auf meine Liste der Restaurants gesetzt, die ich bei meiner nächsten Reise unbedingt wieder besuchen möchte.

Hatten 2 Menüs bestellt, von denen nur eine ankam. Das einzige was man dann kriegt ist ein „Geld wird dir rückerstattet“, was einem herzlichst wenig bringt wenn man eigentlich essen wollte und jetzt hungern darf. Döner an sich war gut.

Ausgezeichneter Kebab, sehr zu empfehlen!

Es ist nicht schlecht, aber ich hatte einen besseren Geschmack erwartet.

Für mich der beste Döner in Frankfurt. Zutaten schmecken absolut frisch und das Fleisch mega saftig sowie lecker.

Ich habe noch nie einen besseren Döner gegessen als dort.

Essen war super Fleisch schön saftig auch ohne Soße Gemüse hat frisch geschmeckt und Brot war knusprig Die Knoblauch Sauce wahr auch empfehlenswert gerne wieder 😊

Super leckere Steak kebab Bowl, mit frischem Salat, Gemüse (Aubergine war toll) und Saucen. Ich hatte Joghurtkräuter in Hummud, beide waren oberlecker.

Der beste Döner den ich seit langem gegessen habe. Preislich super und geschmacklich einfach perfekt. Das Fleisch sehr saftig und die Soßen passen super. Gute Auswahl an Bowls Ines anderen Gerichten. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Ambiente hat einfach gepasst. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Einziges Manko die Soße (Knoblauchsoße). Ansonsten wirklich guter Döner, aber 10€ sind schon etwas teuer.

Geschmacklich war es sehr gut, vor allem das Brot hat mir gefallen. Ich habe aber noch nie erlebt dass es verschiedene Größen vom Döner gibt. Ich habe einen Döner der Größe L bestellt und bin nicht komplett satt geworden. Bei solchen Preisen kann man anderes erwarten

Angemessener Preis. Sehr lecker und hat meinen Hunger gestillt. Der Mann mit der durchsichtigen Brille ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Er spricht auch gut Englisch.

Die Bowls sind köstlich und die Portionen mehr als ausreichend! Absolut empfehlenswert!

Different Kebab hat uns beim spazieren gehen ins Auge gestochen. Was kann hier so different sein? Ambiente modern und einfach, Bestellung geht ratz fatz und Essen schnell fertig. Das Steakdöner schmeckt sehr zart, leckere Avocado-sauce, Brot sehr knusprig, alles super, gerne wieder 🥙

Das war der schlimmste Döner meines Lebens erst hat man eine lange Wartezeit die verständlich ist und kein Problem dar stellt. Dann kam mein Döner jedoch mit dem falschen Fleisch. Daraufhin kam ein neues diesmal mit dem richtigen Fleisch nur mit Brot was nach einem Bissen auseinander gefallen ist. Dann bin ich einfach nur raus. Unnötig Geld ausgegeben und nicht satt geworden die die wissen was ich meine können es verstehen.

Das Personal ist inkompetent, das Essen ist widerlich, das Fleisch ist versalzen, es gibt kaum Soße, das Gemüse ist verkocht, geschmacklos und riecht komisch, die Preise sind zu hoch.

Der Döner an sich schmeckt eigentlich nicht schlecht, aber die Unfreundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter ist ein echtes Problem. Ich wollte eine vierte Sauce dazu haben und hätte diese selbstverständlich auch extra bezahlt. Das wurde jedoch strikt abgelehnt mit der Begründung, dass es bei ihnen nur drei Saucen gäbe. Dass man selbst gegen Aufpreis keinen simplen Extra-Wunsch erfüllt bekommt, macht absolut keinen Sinn und ist null kundenorientiert. Schade, aber aufgrund des schlechten Services werde ich nicht noch einmal kommen.

Wow, das ist super! Schön, schnell, sauber...

Döner ist OK aber man kann schonmal 20-30 Minuten warten vor allem wenn die Freundinen der Mitarbeiter rein marschieren und Priorität vor den anderen 10 Leuten die warten bekommen.

Ist sehr lecker aber auch voll. Man kann sich die Hände im Laden waschen und die Preise sind für die Menge und Qualität sehr gut. Kann man immer wieder hin! Draußen sitzen ist auch sehr angenehm.

Das Essen war sehr lecker. Ich hatte die Bowl mit Steak. Fand ich sehr gut. Würde ich nochmal essen. Würde aber gerne das nächste Mal eine kleinere Portion haben. Wäre schön, wenn das auch angeboten werden würde in verschiedenen Größen.

Sowohl der Hähnchen- als auch der Rindfleisch-Döner waren köstlich. Wie in den meisten Dönerläden in Deutschland war das Personal gleichgültig und unhöflich. Ich weiß nicht, woran das liegt.

Waren heute das erste Mal da und die Döner sahen alle sehr lecker aus. Auf allen war eine gute Portion Fleisch, leckeres Gemüse und Soße, aber das Brot wird dem drum herum nicht gerecht. Da könnte man mMn noch mehr rausholen. Alles im Ganzen war es aber sehr gut 👍🏻

Es gab viele Möglichkeiten, einen leckeren Döner zu bestellen, aber die Kommunikation an der Rezeption gestaltete sich schwierig.

They’re always incredibly friendly to English speakers and will help walk you through the concise but sometimes challenging to pronounce menu. The Dönerkabob here is better than anywhere I’ve ever had it; from the fresh kabob meat to the warm German bread, to the bevy of delicious sauces—-the best being the garlic cocktail and spicy habanero ketchup—-this is like subway if something was world class food instead of plastic garbage. Can’t recommend more highly!!!!

Bad service and terrible meality.

A place to eat on the street or inside. A very tasty kebab. I ordered it with habanero sauce, fried chicken legs, and soda. You grab the soda from the fridge. It's excellent for fast food.

I was in Frankfurt for a Champions League game. I ate there spontaneously and got a very poorly filled kebab. Probably because the owner knew I was only going there once. I can't recommend the place.

We were visiting Frankfurt today and stumbled upon this kebab shop by chance. It's a very clean place. The guys behind the counter were very friendly and joked around with our daughter. The steak doner with grilled vegetables was absolutely delicious.

I noticed right from the start that the meat was strangely tough and the sauce was a bit disgusting, but I still ate it all up and then got the bill at home: many trips to the toilet. Thanks for that.

Absolutely delicious kebab. Everything from bread to meat is fresh. For me personally, this is currently the best kebab. Above all: HYGIENIC. Highly recommended. Update: The second visit wasn't as good as the first, but it was still good. The bread was toasted too hard this time, and the meat had less flavor. Salt shakers on the tables would have been helpful.

Located between the old City and the shopping centre!!! Foods taste authentic. Service is good the only thing perhaps missing is a customer’s WC. But you can wash your hands on a dedicated space! Table and sits are comfortable and with non-USB charging port available on most tables. Price is within the range for the region and the kind of foods.

After 40 minutes I was running to the toilet. I am not necessarily saying the food here is the reason, but this is my only suspect...

Unfortunately, the service – especially the cashier – was a complete no-go. Extremely rude, and even after pointing it out, they continued to treat you disrespectfully. In the end, they threw the buzzer at you. But the kebab was good.

On Saturday, August 2, 2025, my companion and I ordered a kebab and two drinks at your restaurant. Since we were already full, we asked for the kebab to be cut in half. After picking up our kebab, we noticed that it wasn't halved. I then politely asked the employee behind the counter to please cut it in half. To my great surprise, the employee reacted extremely aggressively. He shouted at me, saying, "That means please!" even though I had already used the word "please." He probably didn't understand this due to the background noise. Instead of clarifying the situation objectively, he aggressively threatened me that he could escalate the situation further if I wanted to. Such behavior is unacceptable, disrespectful, and frightening for guests.

It doesn't matter how many good Dönner places we eat at, this place has a special place in our palette. I can't put my finger on it but they are remarkably consistent and simply delicious. I especially enjoy their different fries. As a beef lover myself, I was surprised to discover that I enjoy their chicken Dönner much more than the beef. However, they are both delicious. Love this place.

I was here for the first time today and I have to say that the steak kebab was really, really good, the best I've had in a long time!

We had two beef bowls and were pleasantly surprised. The bowls tasted outstanding. We were impressed by every single component. The meat was flavorful, the sauces were very tasty and different from some other run-of-the-mill sauces. The salad dressing was great. The portions were also generous. We'll definitely be back.

Very good kebab. Fresh meat, not minced meat, but layered meat! A very good selection of sauces, good vegetables. The parsley and lemon complement the product perfectly. The shop on Hasengasse is very stylishly decorated. It's not a cheap shop, but high-quality furniture that looks classy. Highly recommended overall. The prices are on the higher end, but you're happy to pay for a good product!

Just passed by, employee was scratching himself down there and smoking a cigarette. Then went right back to work touching the food without washing hands or wearing gloves.

The best kebab in Frankfurt, nothing more to say, but... Actually 5 stars, but...: Only available locally. They often forget something on delivery or simply replace it. Unfortunately, a very disappointing experience at The Different Kebab. The service was really bad – we were barely noticed while ordering and not taken seriously at all. The cashier was extremely rude and didn't even greet us or look at us. The shop was completely empty – we were the only customers at the time. This might have been understandable if it had been busy, but as it was, it just seemed indifferent and disrespectful. The steak was also rather bland and unimpressive. Overall, we absolutely cannot recommend the shop. It's a shame.
