I'm from Limburg and have been to this fantastic restaurant several times! Very authentic Japanese cuisine (I've been to Japan before), there's nothing that isn't delicious and beautifully presented! Yes, you pay a little more, but the food is worth every cent! Be sure to try the sushi platters! Amazing!

I absolutely love Asian food and chicken, so I ordered the Crazy Chicken. The service was excellent, but the salad mixed in with the chicken and noodles completely ruined the taste. It didn't taste right, so I only finished the dish because it had just been ordered and was on the table. Without this flavor-destroyer, the meat and noodles might not have been outstanding, but they would have tasted okay. But you couldn't get something like that for the price. I don't know what the chef was thinking. I'd rather go to a Chinese restaurant with a buffet, which is cheaper and tastier.

The price was a bit shocking. It's gotten more expensive, and the portions for two people are comparatively smaller. Good fish is expensive, but now I'll probably eat there even less often.

The food was perfectly balanced, very tasty, and highly recommended if you want to eat healthy. The drinks were equally delicious. The only downside was that the kitchen started cleaning and vacuuming the dining area at a quarter to nine, even though the restaurant is open until 10 p.m. That shouldn't be done in a restaurant like this. It's not appropriate.

The Edo restaurant in Limburg is an excellent address for everyone who appreciates Japanese cuisine and especially sushi. The dishes are freshly prepared, beautifully presented and taste really convincing, it seems very high quality. The modern, stylish ambience creates a pleasant atmosphere in which you immediately feel at home. The staff is also extremely friendly, attentive and contributes to an all-round successful visit. The only point of criticism is the relatively high prices. Maybe a little too expensive for a regular visit - but definitely worth it for a special evening or a good meal in company. Taste and service are convincing.

My wife and I went there for the first time, also based on positive recommendations. We didn't like it, even though we otherwise appreciate Asian cuisine. The service was very friendly and quick, and that was about it for the positive impressions. Overall, far too expensive for what is offered.

We were here on a Sunday evening. To be on the safe side, we also reserved online in advance. Since the restaurant was pretty full, this was definitely a good idea. And the food was really really good. We had the appetizer platter and the sushi platter for 2 people. Significantly better than most other sushi or other Japanese food in the wider area. And the whole thing was beautifully presented. The service started strong and then unfortunately declined. They accompanied us to the place, were very friendly and explained the food to us when we asked. But when we wanted to order the bill there was no service staff there for 10 minutes. That was a real shame. But maybe there was too much to do that evening.

Service and ambience are relaxed and modern. My starter was very tasty and special. I wasn't particularly happy with the duck breast. No crispy skin and several tendons, unfortunately no longer pink but clearly over it. All other dishes at the table were very good. I'll definitely be back forever, but I won't eat duck again.

As always, we were greeted and served very friendly. We had various starters that we shared and then a large sushi platter for two and a single main course, which were really generously stocked and very attractively presented. We really enjoyed the food, the quality was very good.

We were in Edo Limburg for the first time yesterday. The restaurant is really very cozy and well decorated. The food was really very tasty and of very good quality. We were thrilled and will definitely come back. Tip: Make a reservation in advance, the restaurant is always fully booked. Yesterday a lot of people came without a reservation and didn't get a table.

The expectations you have when you see the restaurant and its prices are high. However, this is not being fulfilled in the slightest. The Japanese taste and culinary excellence known from Japanese cuisine are absolutely mocked here. The service was nice and the ambience was nice, but when you spend over €200 and are presented with something like that, it's easy to feel like it's rude. Normally I'm not one to write reviews, but this was really tough...it's a real shame

A real taste experience – absolutely recommended! I recently went to the Edo restaurant in Limburg and absolutely loved it! The service was first class – super friendly, attentive and quick. We didn't have to wait long and the food came to the table really quickly. And what can I say? The food was just really, really delicious! Every bite was a pleasure, and you can immediately tell that they use high-quality ingredients and great attention to detail. In terms of price, the restaurant is a little above average, but honestly? The quality and taste are absolutely worth it! If you value good food and a great ambience, then Edo is definitely the right choice. I will definitely come back and highly recommend it!

There was nothing to complain about! After we received a very friendly welcome, we were taken straight to our seats. The service was very friendly and always had a smile on her face. We were served quickly, but had plenty of time to look for drinks and food. The selection was large. So big that we ultimately decided on “Chefs Choice”. 6 courses that were perfectly coordinated and tasted really great. The dishes arrived at very convenient intervals, beautifully prepared and of first-class quality. From the kimchi soup to the dry-aged steak (3 months) to the warm dorayaki with homemade filling, it was simply a taste experience. Even the lemonade was great! The restaurant is very, very clean and, despite being 'Full House', pleasantly quiet. One comment complained that the next guests were already waiting next to the checkout for their supposedly double-occupied tables... The only people, and in fact there were a few, who lingered briefly at the checkout were waiting for their takeaway... Accordingly, everything went well organizationally! Absolute recommendation! Always happy. :)

Aimed at Edo in Limburg: The first thing we had to do was ask for the menu after we had been sitting for at least 10 minutes. Afterwards I had to call the waiter so that we could order something to drink. We then ordered various things for the main course and said that we would like everything at once and that no starter should come beforehand. After a while an appetizer came for my girlfriend and we then waited an hour for the sushi. The table next to us with 4 people (all warm main courses) had ordered after us and had the food brought earlier (at least 10-15 minutes earlier). We noticed from other tables that guests had forgotten food or drinks. Overall, I think the reviews here are crazy because, in my opinion, they are far too positive. I've eaten here 4 times now and it hasn't improved. The service staff should also work on their German. I think that could be the reason why a lot of things are forgotten or not done correctly. The food is absolutely delicious but the service is so bad that I won't be coming back again. My girlfriend feels the same way. One more point about the ambience: it is clean and pleasant. Unfortunately it gets very loud when some people are sitting, it's a little dark for my taste but that's also part of the atmosphere. I find it consistent and quite okay.

Food quality bomb! I've never had such fresh sushi before! Been here twice so far, the food was perfect both times! Only the waitress could have a better look at empty glasses. The first time I would have ordered 2 extra drinks and the 2nd time an extra drink. If this needs to be improved, I absolutely recommend it! You and I came by chance. and the staff showed me a table reserved for 2 right next to the kitchen. Very friendly and quick when ordering, then we were able to eat really delicious food. The food is great, unfortunately our stay was ruined by a waiter. While we were looking at the map, we were asked four times if we knew what we wanted. This happened within a maximum of 10 minutes. When it came to the appetizer, my companion's plate was cleared away even though we were still eating. And we were informed that there was “only one piece” left on the plate, as if we should just quickly pop the last bit into our mouths. My main course, a sushi plate, was simply placed next to my seat and served with dry ice after I said that I was still eating. Later I tried to politely point out to the waiter that his behavior had ruined the mood a bit, but while I was still talking he turned his back on me and walked away. I've probably never been treated so badly in a restaurant. It was very unpleasant and unfortunately destroyed all of our food. We were just rushed, even though there were a few other people sitting in the restaurant and it wasn't closing time yet.
