I've gotten pizza there several times. Every time I am amazed by the taste and the dough.
The gluten-free pizzas taste incredibly good. Not many pizzerias can compete with that.
It was my favorite kebab in Giessen a few years ago, but I don't understand how one could neglect it so much. Today I gave it another chance and was really disappointed again... Some of the meat in my kebab plate was really burnt so that the fries even tasted like it was burnt... Why do you serve burnt meat to customers...? Raise the prices as far as I'm concerned, but don't let the quality go down...
Event with around 50 people. At the champagne reception the doors were still locked and no one was in sight. Only after a phone call and a while in the blazing sun were we able to let guests into the hall. At some point we were offered the sparkling wine late, unfortunately at room temperature. There was usually only one waitress for the entire company. This gentleman was nice, he seemed overwhelmed, very forgetful and slow but always trying. The water on the tables was in special bottle coolers, but these were empty and the water was always warm. After the pre-soup of dinner, our tables were full to capacity as nothing was cleared away after coffee and cake. Even if there is supposed to be cake in the evening, you can't leave coffee dishes and coffee pots on the tables. You wouldn't do something like that at home, especially not at a wedding for paying guests.
Unfortunately, the promised nice weather terrace was only opened after dinner.
The food was generally very bland and looked somehow sad. In any case, there weren't any soup portions in the quantities ordered.
Price and performance simply weren't right here.
€4.60 or €4.80 for 0.5 liters of cola is crazy.
Still 2 points because the entrance area is beautifully planted and the location actually seems OK. There is also enough parking space.
The Jalapenos Pizza was a pepperoni pizza, the meat had no flavor and the pizza only tasted like pepperoni. The noodles were also tasteless and there were 10 spoonfuls of oil in the dish. I would have made the mushrooms much better myself. The only good thing was the free pudding, which was also out of the bag.
Price-performance ratio (Lamachun) is miserable.. It tastes really, really good, but for the price I can get a Lamachun in Linden that is twice as thick and tastes better, for almost the same price. For the price I actually wasn't full, and no one will be, it fills the stomach, but it shouldn't be stuffing either, it just shouldn't be as thick as a pretzel stick, but thick as a baguette, it should stay that way there should simply be more! Everything was nice on site, but please change the sizes. Same with Durüm. I don't want to know how small your kebab is. Remember, in Giessen it's all about taste and not size. Linden Orient Grill offers flavor and size. But at least have good sauces, they taste great, but garlic sauce has to be hot and not sweet.
Given the prices on the menu, I thought it was a fair price for the food. When the food was brought out fairly quickly, I was blown away by the portion size. In addition, it also tasted absolutely excellent. Absolute recommendation.
It can be called the best Turkish restaurant in Gießen, it is an establishment that is full of many meat products of Turkish cuisine, which has been improving its quality for more than 30 years. The prices are reasonable, the taste is quite good, that's why it's in high demand, sometimes it's quite busy, so the service may be a little late, but it's worth it.
