Turhan Kebap Haus in Gießen

I ordered three kebabs to take away. When asked what I wanted on them, I answered very clearly and in good German, "All without onions and red cabbage." As he was just about to assemble the last kebab, I called back just to be sure, "No onions and red cabbage, and please, lots of yogurt sauce." When I got home, I discovered that all three kebabs were full of onions, and the last one, which was supposed to have more sauce, had the exact opposite: almost no sauce at all. The bottom line is, while they were asking the customers, the employees were still chatting among themselves and then forgetting the customers' wishes, or confusing white cabbage with onions. I can't think of any other explanation. It was also very quiet, and there was no customer backlog at the time of ordering.

For me, next to Renabi Grünberger... and ONLY Grünberger, the best kebab in town!

Honestly guys, don't go there! There are at least 10 other kebab shops in the area, and they all taste identical because they come from the same supplier! However, this would-be premium seller is of the opinion that he is actively offering his product against your specifications! It was my favorite kebab in Giessen a few years ago, but I don't understand how one could neglect it so much. Today I gave it another chance and was really disappointed again... Some of the meat in my kebab plate was really burnt so that the fries even tasted like it was burnt... Why do you serve burnt meat to customers...? Raise the prices as far as I'm concerned, but don't let the quality go down...

Doner kebab tasted good, salad was all fresh and the sauce also tasted good. Tables were clean, so you can eat there reasonably and the price-performance ratio is also good.

A bone came out of my doner kebab, I told this twice and they replied that there is no problem if your tooth is not broken. I will never go again.

Unfortunately very much diminished. It was always our favorite kebab, but the last time we went there we were really disappointed. The kebab was barely filled and didn't taste particularly good either. The only thing that was really good was the garlic sauce. The shop itself is not necessarily inviting to eat on site. However, the employees are always very friendly and helpful.

Das Essen entspricht dem Preis, jedoch lässt der Service zu wünschen übrig. Ich wurde unerwartet mit einer Gebühr von 50 Cent für Mayo und einen kleinen Ketchup-Anteil konfrontiert, obwohl dies weder auf der Speisekarte vermerkt war noch vorher erwähnt wurde. Wenn solche Gebühren vorher bekannt sind, wäre das verständlicher. Auf Nachfrage erhielt ich eine unangemessene Antwort wie "Fällt Mayonnaise oder Ketchup vom Himmel?". Dies war wirklich enttäuschend. Außerdem habe ich letztens in meinen Pommes ein kleines Stück Alufolie gefunden, vermutlich wurde das mitfrittiert. Zudem werden Servietten zurückgehalten und nicht auf dem Tresen bereitgestellt, was es schwieriger macht, bei Bedarf welche zu bekommen. (Es wird bei der Ausgabe des Essens meist 1-2 zur Verfügung gestellt). Jedoch ist dies meist zu wenig.

Really delicious kebab, very generously filled and the filling was always fresh. The salad behind the counter always looks good when I'm there. The staff are snack bar friendly - just order a kebab, thank you and goodbye. Absolute recommendation!

The kebab itself tastes quite good, but I don't know if everyone wants to eat a cable connection that was in the kebab.

I thought the kebab would be great. Well, the kebab itself was ok, but the tomatoes were mushy and soft, they weren't fresh tomatoes. I won't come anymore.

The kebab in the store is not only generously filled, but also tastes exceptionally good. The staff are extremely nice and friendly, especially Tahsin, who leaves a lasting impression with his friendly manner and muscular appearance. His dedication and politeness definitely add to the overall pleasant experience. Kudos to the entire team for their outstanding service quality and delicious food.

Bedienung sehr unfreundlich Salat sieht aus wie von 2 Tagen an den Tomaten hängt das Grüne noch dran .. Wir fahren immer dahin aber irgendwie lässt er nach ....

Bruderherz für den Preis stabil. Meinem Kollegen haben vor allem die Sauce und der Service gefallen. Der ist aus Kazakhstan und der kennt sich mit Döner sehr gut aus. Empfehlenswert!

Bester Döner in ganz Giessen, fahren extra 25 km. Personal immer freundlich und auch ab 22 Uhr noch offen.

Der Döner ist im Vergleich zu den anderen bezahlbaren Döner im Dönerdreieck sehr gut. Allerdings wird die Bestellung jedes zweite Mal missverstanden. Mal wird die Pommes vergessen, mal wird ein normaler Döner anstatt XXL gemacht, aber trotzdem der Preis von einem XXL Döner verlangt... Keine Ahnung was daran so schwer ist, alle anderen bekommen es auch hin. Lieber woanders hingehen...

Ich war schon längere Zeit nicht mehr hier gewesen und musste leider feststellen, dass die Qualität extrem nachgelassen hat! Das Gemüse in der Theke sah nicht mehr ganz so frisch aus, eher als wäre es von der Nacht um 1 noch gewesen. Die Soße vom Döner war wie Wasser und hatte kein richtigen Geschmack! Das Fleisch war auch sehr trocken und einfach viel zu wenig drauf für den stolzen Preis! Mittlerweile hab ich ein schlechtes Gewissen, dass ich euch empfohlen habe!!! Mich habt ihr verloren als Kunden!

Schnelles und leckeres Essen. Günstige Preise. Mein Favorit: Dürüm mit frittiertem Weichkäse. Super lecker.

Leider ist der Döner dort nicht wirklich zu empfehlen. Die Mitarbeiter vor Ort waren nicht sehr freundlich, was keinen guten Ersteindruck vermittelte. Zum Döner kann ich sagen, dass das Brot im XXL Döner sehr kross, zugleich von innen fluffig war, auch die Soße war relativ gut. Für das Fleisch gibt es allerdings einen dicken Abzug, es war komplett trocken und schmeckt nur nach Gewürzen, zudem schmeckt das Weißkraut nach dem typischen eingelegten Krautsalat, welchen man im Supermarkt kaufen kann. Dieser hat den Geschmack des Döners leider komplett verfälscht, daher kann ich den Döner nicht empfehlen.

Trotz Inflation der einzigste Döner 🥙 Laden in ganz Deutschland, der Döner noch für 5 Euro verkäuft und pralll gefüllt ist! Ihr anderen Heuchler Döner Verkäufer, nehmt euch ein Beispiel daran!! Alles Abzocker in meinen Augen, Hauptsache BMW und Mercedes AMG wird gedrückt. LAAAAAN

Döner so wie er sein muss. Nur wenige neumodische Läden können mit Turhan Döner mithalten. Die Preise sind immer noch sehr fair. Absolute Empfehlung!!

Durchschnittlicher Dönerdreieckdöner

Viele finden diesen Döner sehr lecker, ich beurteile ihn mit ganz Okay. Er hat eine zentrale Lage in Gießen im „Döner Dreieck“ Dürüm und Döner sind sehr zu empfehlen der Rest ist okay…. Das Fleisch ist ein Industriespieß, der Geschmack ist nicht mit Kalb vergleichbar es ist eher ein Gewürzmix. Ich fand das Fleisch etwas trocken, obwohl der Spieß neu aufgezogen wurde.

Standard Döner. Brot war leider nicht getoastet, Fleisch war Standard Hack-Spieß, nicht sehr gewürzt, Salat war frisch. Bonuspunkte für die leckere Soße, die mit frischem Dill verfeinert war. Insgesamt 6.5/10.

...der Dönerläden die nicht vorne mit spielen. Ich esse eh nur veggie, aber der hier schmeckte mit Abstand nicht sonderlich gut. Lieber zu MT gehen. Was die Fleisch-Döner oder Pizzen angeht kann ich nicht viel sagen. Wenn man jedoch nachts unterwegs ist und nach ein paar Bier nur was zu essen sucht dann geht auch dieser Laden.
