Restaurant Keyf-i Mangal in Gießen

Leider war mein Besuch eine große Enttäuschung. Der Service war äußerst unprofessionell. Der Kellner wirkte unfreundlich, desinteressiert und wenig aufmerksam. Man hatte das Gefühl, als wäre man als Gast eher störend. Besonders enttäuschend war jedoch das Essen. Der Milchreis schmeckte überhaupt nicht frisch, sondern wirkte, als hätte er bereits mehrere Tage gestanden. Geschmack, Konsistenz und Geruch waren sehr unangenehm, sodass ich ihn nicht essen konnte. Das war für mich absolut inakzeptabel. Die beigefügten Bilder sprechen für sich. Insgesamt war der Besuch sehr enttäuschend. Aufgrund der schlechten Servicequalität und der mangelhaften Speisen kann ich dieses Restaurant leider nicht weiterempfehlen.gegenüber ist ein besseres Lokal und immer frisch .

Absolute 5-Sterne-Empfehlung! Das Essen war einfach mega lecker und optisch wie geschmacklich ein Highlight. Dazu kommt ein richtig guter, herzlicher Service, bei dem man sich sofort willkommen fühlt. Hier stimmt das Gesamtpaket einfach perfekt!

Alles war perfekt. Sie waren sehr höflich und aufmerksam.

Es gibt einen Gebetsraum. Parkplätze sind vorhanden. Die Preise sind angemessen. Das Personal verdient Bestnoten.

Wollte dort mit einer Gruppe mal türkisch essen (was ich gerne mag). Bin schon stutzig geworden, dass die anderen da mit Tee und Mineralwasser saßen. Wollte ein Weizenbier bestellen und bekam als Antwort, dass dort überhaupt kein Alkohol ausgeschenkt wird. Aufgestanden und gegangen. In einem Restaurant in Deutschland erwarte ich, dass ich Bier oder Wein bestellen kann, was in der Türkei überhaupt kein Problem dsrstellt (z.B. in Istanbul an der Galata Brücke ein Balik Ekmek und ein schönes Efes Pils). Ich lasse mir doch in meinem eigenen Land nicht die religiösen Grundsätze anderer Länder aufzwingen. Wieder ein Beispiel für die Übergriffigkeit fremder Kulturen in Deutschland. Der Islam gehört NICHT zu Deutschland!

Essen nicht durch, Tiere im Salat, und unfreundlich.

Ich hatte ein schönes Erlebnis in diesem Restaurant. Ich aß Iskender Kebab, Pide mit Sucuk und Knafeh. Alles war sehr lecker, aber anders als in der Türkei, besonders der Kebab und das Knafeh. Das Knafeh war etwas trocken. Die Atmosphäre war angenehm. Der Service war hervorragend. Die Bedienung war sehr höflich und zuvorkommend.

Todes nette Mitarbeiter hab sogar Extra Baklavas zu meiner Bestellung bekommen obwohl ich sie net kenne. Ich gehe hier auch öfters mit meiner Familie hin und ich hab mir noch nie was negatives über deren service oder Essen gedacht.11/10

Wirklich eine sehr schlechte Erfahrung. Das Essen hatte überhaupt keinen Geschmack und die Qualität war extrem enttäuschend wirkte eher wie billiges Füllessen. Dazu wurden die Getränke auch noch warm serviert, was absolut inakzeptabel ist. Kann ich definitiv nicht weiterempfehlen.

Empfehlungs wert die leute geben viel mühe und alkes schmeckt lecker

Ich bin oft im Keyf-i Mangal essen, weil das Essen grundsätzlich gut schmeckt. Allerdings gibt es einige wichtige Kritikpunkte. Die Sauberkeit lässt leider zu wünschen übrig. Gläser und Teller sind häufig nicht richtig sauber und weisen Flecken auf, was den Gesamteindruck deutlich verschlechtert. Außerdem stimmt manchmal das, was auf der Speisekarte steht, nicht mit dem überein, was serviert wird. Zum Beispiel ein Salat Teller mit, Käse und Hähnchenbrust angegeben, aber der Käse fehlt dann auf dem Teller. Zusammengefasst: Geschmacklich gut, aber bei Sauberkeit und Sorgfalt im Service besteht definitiv Verbesserungsbedarf.

Das Ambiente innen ist modern mit sehr bequemen mobiliar (ungewöhnlich schick für läden die auch Döner verkaufen). Eine absolute empfehlung. Das Essen kommt schnell genug an um auch in der Mittagspause hier zu essen. Der Döner ist gut die Grillgerichte überzeugen auch und Preislich ist das ganze auch attraktiv.

Mein türkisches Lieblingsrestaurant in Gießen. Ich komme hier regelmäßig zum Essen vorbei. Alles was ich bisher gegessen habe hat mir sehr gut geschmeckt. Der Ayran ist der Hammer 🤩

Leider waren bei unserem letzten Besuch alle Salate in Essig getränkt. Es war so viel Essig, dass meine Frau lange husten musste, nachdem sie den Geruch eingeatmet hatte. Wir mussten das ganze Grünzeug auf dem Teller lassen. Das Fleisch und die Fladenbrote waren köstlich. Der Reis war kalt. Es gab bereits Fliegen. Neben den Tischen stand ein Fahrrad. Wir werden dort nicht mehr hingehen.

Das Essen war so so so lecker , wir kamen aus Kassel , und ehrlich so lecker , wir haben mit einem Baby da heute und wir haben vergessen Trinkgeld zu geben weil wir mit Karte gezahlt haben und kein Bar Geld dabei hatten , und mein Mann hat einfach Karte draufgehalten ohne zu fragen oder zu schauen . Service alles war wirklich top und die Vorspeise alles wirklich lecker 😋 Und von Preisen her kann man wirklich nichts sagen .

Wir waren während des Ramadan bei einem Iftar-Essen einer Familie. Die Atmosphäre war sehr schön, und der Gebetsruf zum Iftar war wunderschön. Das Essen war wirklich köstlich, aber der Service ließ – vermutlich aufgrund des Ramadan – zu wünschen übrig. Zunächst einmal gab es kein Fladenbrot zum Kebab; wir hatten danach gefragt, es wurde uns zugesagt, aber es kam nie. Die Getränke wurden erst nach dem Essen serviert. Trotz dieser Mängel war das Fleisch sehr schmackhaft und gut zubereitet. Wenn die Serviceprobleme behoben werden, wird alles wunderbar sein.

Es war sehr gut wieder ich war vor 3 Jahren schon mal 2-3 Jahre.Es hat auch sehr gut geschmeckt jetzt hab ich hier nochmal gegessen das war beste Döner der es gibt es hat keine lange Zeit gebraucht wie bei manchen.Der Döner war sehr gut&frisch mit einer mezzo mix war sehr Peak.Ich hoffe das ich sehr bald wieder komme und alles war frisch Brot,Döner einfach alles.Das ist so ein richtiger Geschmack hoffentlich ändern die sich nicht mit dem Fleisch,nur schlecht fand ich das es so rutschig war wo ich auf Toilette musste bin ich fast ausgerutscht und ich fand gut das die uns ein leckeres Brot gegeben haben,die Toiletten waren sauber man konnte viel Auswahl haben aber ich liebe Döner also nehme ich natürlich Döner.Nur zum empfehlen.👍

I've been to this restaurant several times and will gladly return. The food has always been delicious, and there's a wide selection of dishes. There's plenty of seating, so I've always been able to get a table right away.

We visited the restaurant for the first time on a Tuesday, having returned from a long journey and needing a break. Since my foot was injured, I was especially grateful that the staff were so understanding and helpful – I immediately felt welcome. The service was quick and friendly, the food fresh, delicious, and highly recommended. We were particularly impressed by the beautiful interior, which creates a very pleasant atmosphere. Another plus: There's even a prayer room for Muslims, as well as very clean restrooms and a baby changing area. All in all, it was definitely worth a visit. We're sure we'll be back in the future, and that's exactly why we'll definitely be going back to Giessen.

It is a restaurant that we have been going to as a family for about 12 years, the employees and the owner are extremely friendly, sincere and devoted, the food is also very high quality, the place is very nice and clean, we always go there with the family with pleasure, I recommend it to everyone.

Were there for the first time today. The food was very tasty, I was guided by the high number of reviews and I have to say A1. The boss, who we met later, was a super friendly host who also gave us drinks on the house. I haven't received such a good and friendly welcome in a long time.

Delicious, super foamy ayran, homemade lemonade. My personal favorites: The starter plate, minced lamb on a skewer and the homemade lemonade as well as a final black tea. It tasted wonderful. Many thanks to the whole team!

I would like to share our experience at this restaurant, which we went to upon the recommendation of a friend. I have nothing to say to the service staff, they were all very respectful. However, I never thought that I would travel 60 km and regret it this much. When ordering, I ordered Adana and my wife ordered Iskender. Why the coke comes open is another problem, I really don't understand why you offer Adana at a cheaper price compared to the market but offer the coke open. As I said, we were very hungry when we went. Treats arrived: salad, yoghurt, something resembling tarator and spicy paste... As I said, we were very hungry. A pita bread came with the appetizers, but I think it might have been left over from the day before because the bread was stale. I said, “Let me eat the salad,” but it was sour too. They used pomegranate syrup, and while eating it, it tasted like I was chewing something with vinegar. Food came about 30 minutes later. I also made the friend who guided us ring his ears a lot. What they called “Adana” was not Adana; It was dry meat and I'm not exaggerating, cartilage came out in every bite. I woke up at 3 a.m. with a stomach ache and wished well (!) to the chef who cooked the meal. Then I looked at the rice and it was like rubber. They pressed it with a bowl to get a shape. It's still good as porridge, but it's like rubber... My wife also ate Iskender; He hasn't been able to get out of the toilet since the morning. I still don't understand what we ate. I'm glad I didn't take a friend with me. I even told the waiter if he wanted to remember. We ordered kunefe to change the taste in our mouth. He arrived in exactly 30 minutes as if he was coming from Hatay. It was served with ice cream, at least it was better than the food, it wasn't bad. GS-Sivas match ended, we left the restaurant. In summary: If you want to be disgraced with your money, you can try it, but it was a good experience for us too. As account 1 Adana 1 Alexander 1 OPEN cola with no acid, 1 churn buttermilk 1künefe 51 euros, I left 55 euros, the room service staff was kind.

So I come here more often, although I have to drive 40 km, but I'm happy to do that. I usually take kellepaça and işkembe soup (let them mix the two), plate of lahmacun with salad and make myself little (wraps) dürüms poh cool.

I went there for the first time yesterday, I won't go again, the food is not delicious at all, I think you should change your grill master, I think anyone who works in an island like this should not do this job. I gave 1 point for cleanliness, 1 point for the friendliness of the employees, and 1 point for the presence of a mosque for prayer. The food and soup are very tasteless.

All in all, good cuisine. Personally, I don't like grills that much. But I'm happy to come.

I actually really enjoy eating there every now and then, but today I noticed again how unfriendly that one waitress with long black hair is. She always looks angry and is totally annoyed. If she doesn't like her job, then she shouldn't work there. It's because of her that I don't like going there. Just today I noticed how unfriendly she was again, and I got up and left. I won't put up with that! No thanks. She just chased me out of the restaurant!

Probably my go to Turkish restaurant here in Gießen. They've got an incredibly large selection of classic Turkish dishes. My go to is honestly just the red lentil soup.

Enjoyable barbecue restaurant is number one in Giessen in terms of both ambience and taste. The staff are clean and friendly. Thank you for your service. I recommend it to everyone.

We have been going to Keyfi Mangal for years and are absolutely satisfied every time. The food is always fresh, tasty and of top quality. We are particularly impressed by the friendly staff and the cozy atmosphere. You simply feel good here! For us, one of the best Turkish restaurants in the area – we always like to come back.
