2 künefe, 2 water is 24.90, it is very expensive and the staff is not friendly at all, there are funeral ceremonies, you cannot ask for anything from those types of people.

The portion is simply too small for the price, it can't be that you pay €15 and don't even get anywhere near full, let alone your plate isn't even properly filled. Doner pizza offer was also better…

Food was far too expensive, we only stayed out of politeness otherwise we would have gotten up. Nevertheless, we had hope that it would at least taste good, but it didn't tear, it was very dry and the meat was rubbery and simply inedible. When we wanted to drink Cay afterwards, no one came to quickly clear our plates, so we cleaned it up a bit ourselves and put it to the side. Not recommended, never again :)

Very nice restaurant, the atmosphere is very pleasantly modern. The food is also very tasty, tender meat and large portions. The waiters are all very friendly, you are greeted at the door and shown to the table, the owner is also very friendly, professional and takes great care to ensure that all customers leave the shop happy. Too expensive and zero service. Unfortunately, not all waiters can speak German and that leads to misunderstandings. I ordered Pizza Sucuk with sauces and had to pay an extra 4.5 for the sauces

I go to Giessen especially for food, where the treatment is noble, the service is excellent and the best thing there is is meat.

I bought a kebab there and ate it there. Unfortunately the kebab was very poorly topped and had way too much sauce on it. Unfortunately, the nice, crunchy bread fell apart and everything ended up on the plate. Still a nice restaurant.

The food was poorly seasoned. Unfortunately, it was average 😞. Looking at such a place, I was honestly disappointed with the poor taste. I thought it would be really better. But I'm waiting for improvement because I'll come back to try it and evaluate it again. Regards

Is halal slaughter used in your meat?

The staff will make fun of you at night if you've had a drink. The taste is also below average. The staff secretly wanted a kebab (was observed giggling).

Came 100km for this restaurant. Ordered mixed grill plates, we didn't even eat otherwise we paid money...

My mother and I thought it was delicious and the service was super friendly (as soon as you looked at them they came). We'd love to come back!!

The waiter was really unfriendly and the way he behaved is absolutely unacceptable. The plates weren't put away either, even though he walked past us several times without holding anything in his hands. I also just stood around a few times and looked around the area because it could have been cleared away before bringing in new drinks. But nevertheless, form your own opinion and don't let my rating influence you. I am very disappointed with the store and would have expected more.

The restaurant is very inviting, very bright & you can sit very comfortably there, even a large group can find space here. The three of us all ordered the same grill plate, the quantity and taste were excellent, unfortunately I had to send back my first side salad because there was a hair in it!!! But I was quickly brought a new side salad. With the hygiene protection measures that are required in a restaurant, something like this would not happen. I also noticed that the employees work without gloves, the waitresses stay in the kitchen area as well as in the counter area, where there was no sign of washing hands before or after serving at the table & a customer. That's why I'm unfortunately only giving 4 stars, I'll take a new picture and then re-evaluate it if something has been worked on or improved.

From the starter with fresh bread and wonderful sauces to the variety of juicy meat dishes, every single meat lover will be happy here. But there are also plenty of alternatives and choices for vegetarians. Mr. Dalkilic, with his extremely friendly and customer-oriented attitude, leaves nothing to be desired. Good service that is second to none! Insider tip: Anyone who wants to know what it tastes like from a professional should treat themselves to the Künefe (as dessert);) Mr. Dalkilic gives the Turkish dessert a completely new definition!

Das beste Türkische Restaurant in Gießen und Umgebung. Wir waren mit der Familie hier zu essen die Kellner waren sehr herzlich und haben uns sehr gut empfangen direkt schon an der Tür und haben uns einen schönen gemütlichen Platz ausgesucht. Das Lokal ist sehr traditionell dekoriert und das Essen schmeckt fabelhaft. Von vegan bis deftigen Fleischgerichten kann man hier alles finden. Und das Künefe mit Eis am Ende ist das beste. Das türkische Tee wird hier aufs Haus gegeben als nette Geste. Die Kellner und Kellnerinen sind auch sehr freundlich. Ab jetzt nur noch hier hin:)

Really a regret! The quality has noticeably decreased in all respects. First of all, the service is no longer particularly good as it once was, but is at best below average. The prices are unreasonably higher and the portions and taste are ridiculous. A measly mixed grill plate for 22.50. I don't know why a restaurant is declining so much. For us, however, it was the last visit.

I've been eating here for years and am always very satisfied. My favorite dishes are the meat and lentil soup and the lahmacun (served on a board, with either parsley or rocket). I can also recommend the Mediterranean pasta pan with chicken... very tasty and sometimes on the daily menu. But the grilled skewers also taste very good and you can order various dips with them. The food here is affordable and the staff is on the ball and very polite, especially the slim waitress with long black hair. The warm light and the beautiful interior design complete your visit to the restaurant and you won't want to leave.

The meat was from a container and not freshly prepared. Unfortunately I ordered it to take away and had to throw it away on the way because it was inedible.

I was here on a quiet Saturday morning. Being a fan of menemen, I always try it when I’m in a Turkish restaurant. Tastewise was a little too light for my taste. Still quite tasty. I think their bread is very good as well. Overall I enjoyed my visit and would love to come back another time.

It's unnecessarily expensive. I went to iftar during Ramadan. There was an old employee there. He criticized my indifferent children and said they were pouring food. Were there for iftar and unfortunately I didn't particularly like the food (mixed grill plate etc.) but the dessert Künefe was tasty. But what made me suspicious was that you brought us a large glass of water to the table to break our fast. I thought it was a really nice gesture, but then in the end you charged €3.90 for the water. You could have pointed this out or directly to the guest It's up to us whether we want to order water. That's not possible, the atmosphere is nice, there are parking spaces nearby

Still one of our favorite places, but the staff became increasingly hectic and unfriendly. Shortly after the opening, things were different. Nevertheless, the food is always delicious, fresh and the portions are large. Update March 12, 2024: We were greeted and treated very friendly by several employees, and were asked several times if everything was OK. We received a large, warm meal and cannot understand the negative comments at all.

Unfortunately, I don't recommend going there if you order something outside of the menu and they try to rip you off with overpriced prices. The first and last time I was there and I advised all my friends and acquaintances not to go. Rather spend your money at an honest restaurant!

I've eaten there many times, but the last two times I was a little disappointed. The meat my sister-in-law ordered was undercooked, and I ordered a type of meal (I don't remember exactly now) that looks like this in the pictures in the menu book, but in reality I got a completely different variety of meat and extremely little, with way too much salad. I was disappointed. Otherwise, the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant. If you come in a larger group, you must make a reservation immediately or you will be treated poorly.

First of all, the hall staff is very good and friendly, but since we have been here before and our expectations are high, we want the food to be hotter and the rice fresher. We attribute such problems to the fact that all the tables in the hall are full. I hope that these will be improved in such a beautiful place. I will come again. I was also happy that the owner of the business, Mr. Cumali, took care of the customers in the salon and gave importance to customer satisfaction. I wish him a fruitful and profitable business.

A complete disaster, the pizza is oily and you can't even take it in your hand, the lamb skewer is full of lemon so you can't taste anything else and the price-performance ratio is too expensive

Preis ist fair. Angenehme Atmosphäre, aber auch sehr selten so eine leckere Pizza gegessen, wirklich empfehlenswert! Zwar wurde ein Teil der Bestellung erst nach einem erneuten Hinweis bearbeitet, es wurde sich allerdings sofort und sehr freundlich entschuldigt und ein Desert als Entschuldigung angeboten. Kann wenn so viel los ist aber ja mal passieren.

Früher bin ich hier gerne hingegangen. Mittlerweile habe ich das ein oder andere Mal eine freche, kleine Portion bekommen. Auf Nachfragen sind die Mitarbeiter bemüht und freundlich. Die Einrichtung ist gemütlich.

Die Qualität des Essens war wirklich enttäuschend, da es nicht frisch gegrillt, sondern aufgewärmt war.

Die Grillplatte ist lecker. Am besten schmecken die Lammsteaks und das Adana. Dort bekommt man das beste Lammsteak in Gießen. Die Meze sind auch gut. Das ist Paprika und Tomate schmeckt besonders gut. Sehr große Portionen. Die Grillplatte hat für 3 Leute gereicht.

Super gutes Restaurant! Freundliche Mitarbeiter und das gegrillte Fleisch ist super und man schmeckt den richtigen Grill auf dem es gemacht wird. Auch die Vorspeisen sind immer wieder toll.

Kevf i Mangal war Mal das beste türkische Restaurant in Gießen. Bei jedem Besuch wurde das Essen schlechter. Früher gab es zum Essen ein Schälchen mit Joghurt, dies wurde durch durch eine billige Fettsoße ersetzt, der Salat ist mit einer fettigen Soße angemacht. Selbst das Fleisch schmeckt nicht mehr, Der Fettgehalt im Hackfleisch ist hoch. Der Reis war kalt. Das einzigste was gleichgeblieben ist , ist der Aysran. Ich bin gerne bereit für ein gutes Essen mehr Geld ausgegeben, aber nicht für diese Qualität. Schade, aber so habt ihr einen Stammkunde verlorenen, der euch nicht mehr empfehlen wird..

Leider nicht mehr das Geld wert. Portionen sind unglaublich klein geworden. Vorspeise waren jetzt 4 Scheiben Brot für mehrere Leute, allerdings gab es keinen Salat oder Dips dazu. Qualität und Geschmack sind Ok, aber nicht mehr überragend. Früher eines der besten Restaurants in Gießen, heute einfach sehr teuer, kleine Kinderportionen und durchschnittlichem Service

Schön, dass man hier türkische Gerichte im Sitzen und in gepflegter Atmosphäre einnehmen kann. Beste Qualität, die Familie hatte gute Lammgerichte, ich einen schönen Vorspeisenteller (an dem kann man oft in mediterranen Lokalen erkennen, was die Küche drauf hat). Apropos Vorspeisen - man ist hier recht großzügig, schon vorher kommen vom Haus gratis diverse schöne Kleinigkeiten. Preislich durchaus kundenfreundlich. Eine einzige Anfrage: Das Essen ist so gut, viele Deutsche, darunter auch ich, würden es gerne mit einem Glas Wein aufwerten. Ich verstehe die Probleme der muslimischen Besitzer, man würde hier ja auch nicht übertreiben wollen, aber zumindest, wenn ich abends käme, würde mir das fehlen. Und das geht sicher vielen Einheimischen so. Aber für ein sehr erfreuliches MIttagessen ist dies eine ganz solide und schöne Adresse.
