We visited the restaurant for the first time on a Tuesday, having returned from a long journey and needing a break. Since my foot was injured, I was especially grateful that the staff were so understanding and helpful – I immediately felt welcome. The service was quick and friendly, the food fresh, delicious, and highly recommended. We were particularly impressed by the beautiful interior, which creates a very pleasant atmosphere. Another plus: There's even a prayer room for Muslims, as well as very clean restrooms and a baby changing area. All in all, it was definitely worth a visit. We're sure we'll be back in the future, and that's exactly why we'll definitely be going back to Giessen.

Were there for the first time today. The food was very tasty, I was guided by the high number of reviews and I have to say A1. The boss, who we met later, was a super friendly host who also gave us drinks on the house. I haven't received such a good and friendly welcome in a long time.

Delicious, super foamy ayran, homemade lemonade. My personal favorites: The starter plate, minced lamb on a skewer and the homemade lemonade as well as a final black tea. It tasted wonderful. Many thanks to the whole team!

I would like to share our experience at this restaurant, which we went to upon the recommendation of a friend. I have nothing to say to the service staff, they were all very respectful. However, I never thought that I would travel 60 km and regret it this much. When ordering, I ordered Adana and my wife ordered Iskender. Why the coke comes open is another problem, I really don't understand why you offer Adana at a cheaper price compared to the market but offer the coke open. As I said, we were very hungry when we went. Treats arrived: salad, yoghurt, something resembling tarator and spicy paste... As I said, we were very hungry. A pita bread came with the appetizers, but I think it might have been left over from the day before because the bread was stale. I said, “Let me eat the salad,” but it was sour too. They used pomegranate syrup, and while eating it, it tasted like I was chewing something with vinegar. Food came about 30 minutes later. I also made the friend who guided us ring his ears a lot. What they called “Adana” was not Adana; It was dry meat and I'm not exaggerating, cartilage came out in every bite. I woke up at 3 a.m. with a stomach ache and wished well (!) to the chef who cooked the meal. Then I looked at the rice and it was like rubber. They pressed it with a bowl to get a shape. It's still good as porridge, but it's like rubber... My wife also ate Iskender; He hasn't been able to get out of the toilet since the morning. I still don't understand what we ate. I'm glad I didn't take a friend with me. I even told the waiter if he wanted to remember. We ordered kunefe to change the taste in our mouth. He arrived in exactly 30 minutes as if he was coming from Hatay. It was served with ice cream, at least it was better than the food, it wasn't bad. GS-Sivas match ended, we left the restaurant. In summary: If you want to be disgraced with your money, you can try it, but it was a good experience for us too. As account 1 Adana 1 Alexander 1 OPEN cola with no acid, 1 churn buttermilk 1künefe 51 euros, I left 55 euros, the room service staff was kind.

I went there for the first time yesterday, I won't go again, the food is not delicious at all, I think you should change your grill master, I think anyone who works in an island like this should not do this job. I gave 1 point for cleanliness, 1 point for the friendliness of the employees, and 1 point for the presence of a mosque for prayer. The food and soup are very tasteless.

All in all, good cuisine. Personally, I don't like grills that much. But I'm happy to come.

Probably my go to Turkish restaurant here in Gießen. They've got an incredibly large selection of classic Turkish dishes. My go to is honestly just the red lentil soup.

Three of our group cleaned everything out a day later. Unfortunately, the food wasn't even particularly tasty. The falafel was extremely dry and bland and the kebab pocket could have used more sauce. Too bad! But the service was very nice.

Unfortunately, a visit to Keyfi Mangal does not leave the impression of a cozy or enjoyable evening, but rather the feeling of having experienced a series of disappointments. A few years ago I visited the restaurant with my family - an experience that we remember to this day, unfortunately not in a positive sense. My grill plate, actually a classic of Turkish cuisine, was an imposition. There were large pieces of gristle in the Adana that made it impossible to enjoy, and on top of that I discovered something that doesn't belong in a dish. The sauce served with it was questionable both in terms of taste and appearance and didn't exactly invite you to eat it. Smelled like juzz and felt like it too. Was something pumped in there perhaps? My little brother, who was looking forward to a plate of kebab, was instead served an indefinable mixture of minced meat, which took away any joy from eating. The high prices – over 20 euros per head – for this dubious quality left us stunned. Unfortunately, the hygienic conditions of the restaurant were also reflected in the toilet. There were no working lights or toilet paper, let alone towels or paper towels. The floor was completely soaked, so much so that you almost slipped when you stepped on it. This environment was not exactly enhanced by the decorative naked statues in the guest room, but rather made more strange. A later visit brought little improvement but rather new reasons for frustration. This time I was there with two friends and a “Bushido”, but this round was also marked by disappointments. A friend's burger was a disgrace - visually questionable and filled with kofta instead of classic burger meat. When I ordered a water it had the distinct taste of tap water, which gave the impression of poor service. Another negative highlight was the way the bill was handled. Nothing was officially registered at the checkout, but rather added up from memory, which left the impression that not all transactions were processed correctly here. When we got our change, we were missing a full five euros - at 20 euros per head, a difference of 25 percent, which is completely unacceptable. Only when my friend pointed this out to the employee and calculated the bill did he realize his mistake. But then the employee suddenly gave out too much change, which left the impression that there was uncertainty or a lack of clarity. In summary, I can unfortunately only say that Keyfi Mangal disappointed in almost all respects. From the quality of the food to the hygiene to the payment process - here you are more likely to experience frustration than enjoyment. It's a shame that you can't give 0 stars on Google, because even one star is still too generous.

An extremely delicious place. The music is great, you feel at home in Turkey. We were pleased with the service, the waiter brothers were friendly. We ordered liver skewers and sheet pan, they tasted very good. My only positive criticism would be for the skewered liver. It would be better and taste more delicious if they added oil between the livers one by one. Other than that everything was great. They also offered tea afterwards, thank you. You can come with peace of mind. We're looking forward to the next time too.

Food was far too expensive, we only stayed out of politeness otherwise we would have gotten up. Nevertheless, we had hope that it would at least taste good, but it didn't tear, it was very dry and the meat was rubbery and simply inedible. When we wanted to drink Cay afterwards, no one came to quickly clear our plates, so we cleaned it up a bit ourselves and put it to the side. Not recommended, never again :)

Very nice restaurant, the atmosphere is very pleasantly modern. The food is also very tasty, tender meat and large portions. I go to Giessen especially for food, where the treatment is noble, the service is excellent and the best thing there is is meat.

I bought a kebab there and ate it there. Unfortunately the kebab was very poorly topped and had way too much sauce on it. Unfortunately, the nice, crunchy bread fell apart and everything ended up on the plate. Still a nice restaurant.

The restaurant is very inviting, very bright & you can sit very comfortably there, even a large group can find space here. The three of us all ordered the same grill plate, the quantity and taste were excellent, unfortunately I had to send back my first side salad because there was a hair in it!!! But I was quickly brought a new side salad. With the hygiene protection measures that are required in a restaurant, something like this would not happen. I also noticed that the employees work without gloves, the waitresses stay in the kitchen area as well as in the counter area, where there was no sign of washing hands before or after serving at the table & a customer. That's why I'm unfortunately only giving 4 stars, I'll take a new picture and then re-evaluate it if something has been worked on or improved.

But there are also plenty of alternatives and choices for vegetarians. Mr. Dalkilic, with his extremely friendly and customer-oriented attitude, leaves nothing to be desired. Good service that is second to none! Insider tip: Anyone who wants to know what it tastes like from a professional should treat themselves to the Künefe (as dessert);) Mr. Dalkilic gives the Turkish dessert a completely new definition!

Das beste Türkische Restaurant in Gießen und Umgebung. Wir waren mit der Familie hier zu essen die Kellner waren sehr herzlich und haben uns sehr gut empfangen direkt schon an der Tür und haben uns einen schönen gemütlichen Platz ausgesucht. Das Lokal ist sehr traditionell dekoriert und das Essen schmeckt fabelhaft. Von vegan bis deftigen Fleischgerichten kann man hier alles finden. Und das Künefe mit Eis am Ende ist das beste. Das türkische Tee wird hier aufs Haus gegeben als nette Geste. Die Kellner und Kellnerinen sind auch sehr freundlich. Ab jetzt nur noch hier hin:)

I've been eating here for years and am always very satisfied. My favorite dishes are the meat and lentil soup and the lahmacun (served on a board, with either parsley or rocket). I can also recommend the Mediterranean pasta pan with chicken... very tasty and sometimes on the daily menu. But the grilled skewers also taste very good and you can order various dips with them. The food here is affordable and the staff is on the ball and very polite, especially the slim waitress with long black hair. The warm light and the beautiful interior design complete your visit to the restaurant and you won't want to leave.
