Die besten Restaurants in Gießen

Always enjoyed eating there and also used the pick-up service. Unfortunately, this is not the first business to have problems due to the “construction site of eternity”. I hope the enchilada survives this time

Currently - closed - Large rooms - similar to "Alt Giessen" - I ordered burgers and beer - it was ok, but not appropriately priced

Broken floor, dirty tables and chairs, smelly toilets, broken drinks machine, 4G is blocked/doesn't get through, and the most important thing: the sandwich is miserably smashed together, falls apart and the contents onto the packaging, which you have to use as a replacement tray . It would be a blessing if this store closed and made room for something better.

We ordered via Lieferando, they stated a delivery time of 10-20 minutes, after ordering the delivery time was 39 minutes, but in the end it took 1 hour. Pizza wasn't particularly tasty - poorly topped and topped with far too much bad cheese, we had to look for tomato sauce. Salad was ok - but way too expensive.

Highly recommend this restaurant. Delicious food...very nice, courteous staff. A big compliment also to the kitchen staff. The ambience is fantastically beautiful...a lovely place to unwind.

Very, very tasty food, great ambience and great starters, the service was A1 and everything was just great. We had a great evening, the ideal place for the two of us to enjoy the peace and quiet. 10/10 the Smashburgers are legendary

Party pizza delivered with minimal toppings, after calling the man on the phone said that he would actually have to charge extra for four quarters of different toppings. You can call the customer and explain this instead of sending unwanted toppings sparingly. I then ordered a salami pizza, which was also charged, even though a free pizza was promised on the phone as a gesture of goodwill. Disaster!

Unfortunately, food poisoning after eating. The food wasn't bad, it lacked a bit of spice. After that I felt very, very bad. I wouldn't dare eat there anymore.

Unfortunately, pizza has nothing to do with tims tasty since it reopened... drove all the way without knowing that the store is now called differently and the pizza is a 0-8-15 analogous to cheese... FAILURE

The Dachcafé has permanently closed.

It's a nice, larger location with friendly and pleasant service. I've only been there for drinks so far; the cocktails and long drinks are always delicious, and I can also recommend the lemonades. I ate there for the first time yesterday, and I have to say, it was delicious, but it didn't blow me away. I had the chicken enchilada, three wraps filled with vegetable ragout, tomato sauce, and chicken, topped with cheese. I personally found the chicken a bit light, and the tomato sauce and vegetable ragout were quite generous. For €16.50, I think it's a bit overpriced. But what's relatively cheap these days?! Otherwise, I can't complain; we sat in a cozy corner, the staff was friendly, and the raspberry-mint lemonade was delicious.

Doner was very disappointing. Meat was gristly and not crispy, cocktail sauce didn't taste like anything.

Cheap, tasty, good portion size! We love!
