We were all 100 percent satisfied I can only recommend it... just go and let yourself be pampered.. Hubsy

Food (burgers and carpacio) are good but waiting 55 minutes for a total of 8 guests (including the two of us) is not possible. The service tried hard and offered us two drinks on the house, but they were also able to do the job don't accelerate. It couldn't have been due to a lack of staff, as there were at least four people in the kitchen at all times.

Restaurant rating: 10/06/24 - Unfortunately our visit to this restaurant was very disappointing. We waited 50 minutes for two hamburgers and fries - a wait that is absolutely unacceptable, especially for such simple dishes. When the food was finally served, the fries were cold, and the hamburger wasn't warm as you would expect. The Italian hamburger, which according to the menu was supposed to be served with parmesan and rocket, was particularly annoying. But neither parmesan nor rocket could be found on the burger. Instead, we received a carelessly prepared meal that fell far short of expectations. The service was friendly, but unfortunately that can't make up for the long wait and the disappointing quality of the food. All in all: a very disappointing experience. We won't be coming back.

The Da Vinci has the best price-performance ratio in Neuenweg! We had various starters, including: Ordered carpaccio and antipasti, accompanied by a bottle of sauvignon blanc. The service team was very attentive, Malke in particular responded to all of our needs. Thank you very much, always happy!

Had to wait almost 20 minutes just to pay! This should actually be done within a minute, but instead the waitress prefers to walk past us three times to serve new customers, which is not possible! Food was ok.

Unfortunately the food wasn't good at all. The service was unfriendly and we also had to wait far too long for everything. Unfortunately no recommendation.

Located in a quiet side street with an outdoor area, good service and nice ambience but the preparation time of the food (60 minutes) with 5 tables is not possible, food freshly prepared - quality varies, my schnitzel was good but chicken steak was very little and dry. The salad is again very good and versatile.

We ordered a chicken schnitzel, which was really great, but also a pizza that looked exactly like one of the frozen pizzas from the freezer counter. Unfortunately, that's what it tasted like and that's why we assume that it was actually a frozen pizza. I personally find it really cheeky to charge almost €15 for this. However, the service was very friendly and quick, and the ambience was also okay.

Yesterday I ate a very tasty chicken schnitzel with fries. Very good quality of meat. Service very friendly.

We waited over 20 minutes to even be able to order drinks, and I had to call the waiter over myself. The food was very tasty but when we ordered dessert it still didn't come after over 30 minutes. The waiter was with us again in the meantime, it seemed as if we had forgotten. After more than 30 minutes I told him that I didn't want it anymore. One had the feeling that the waiters were not able to cope with the number of guests.

It was very delicious. It was just missing a little bit of spice. It was great prepared.

Not recommended, there are better Italian restaurants in Giessen. Food was dry, the Aperol and cider were totally watery and the prices were higher than stated in the menu. The bad thing: It took over 20 minutes for our drink order to be accepted . A no-go.

An additional parasol would be good. The coffee is very good. Be careful, only 1 male operator and she has everything under control.

Hello I'm someone who eats a lot, but I haven't eaten so well in Gießen for a long time. The waitress with the orange/red hair was super friendly. And the chef is amazing at what he cleans there. So conclusion you all have to go there!!

Today we ordered a burger and breakfast. The burger was okay, juicy, tasty. Relatively few fries for €13. The breakfast was a disaster. Half of it was forgotten and only brought when asked. The advertised “bread basket” was a coarsely cut bagutte from the previous evening which was very difficult to chew. When I asked where the bread basket was, they just said that today there was only baguette. A boiled egg was also ordered, which was first forgotten and then brought with the egg white still partially liquid. The ambience and the location are very nice.

The food was very good but you have to praise the red-haired waitress, very nice and friendly 😁

We waited for our order for 50 minutes, and asked what was happening to understand that the waiter forgot about us and didn't even order in the kitchen, he told us it would be in 10 minutes, where we didn't want to wait an hour for our food, we already left! A nice and cozy restaurant. The service was quick and very polite. The cleanliness in the guest room was appealing. It was a bit annoying that the service used a broom to sweep around and under the tables where guests were eating their food. The dishes, including the soup as a greeting from the kitchen, were hot, freshly prepared and delicious. The price-performance ratio was completely ok. When the temperatures are warm you can also sit at the tables in front of the restaurant. So a recommendation from me.

Unfortunately a very disappointing experience. Ordered pasta with champions in cream sauce for lunch (daily special). Waited a long time and the side soup (at lunchtime with the main menu) wasn't available either. When the food finally came, although it was nicely prepared, the absolutely bland taste didn't score. It's a shame that, despite legitimate criticism, you have to pay the full price for an incomplete dish. Staff said "Next time there would be soup again"... sorry but that won't be available. The location is actually very cozy, but customer satisfaction seems to be a foreign word here...

An absolute insider tip! The food is fresh, super tasty and TOP priced. We were here with children, including a 2 year old, and the staff took great care of the little ones when it came to the food. We'd love to come back ❤️

Was there for the first time today and can only report positive things! The food, the ambience and the service leave nothing to complain about. It definitely wasn't the last time I visited there.

i worked there, once a woman ordered a mozarella chicken schnitzel, when i served the food she said that she has tomato allergy (there were tomato on the mozarella) and then they removed the tomate in the kitchen fried the same schnitzel again and gave it to me to serve. Also the kitchen is not very hygienic and they underpay their waiters, less than minimumwage. So if i were you i would consider twice before going there.

We were in the restaurant this afternoon. It was filled to capacity and the service and kitchen were hopelessly overwhelmed. When I didn't even get a coffee after 50 minutes, we got up and left. It's a shame actually

Great quality of the food on offer, prices are okay except for the drinks. 0.2 cola for €3 is really too much. The non-alcoholic cocktails for €6 were worth the money. A little too cold in the dining room, but otherwise really great.

We were there for breakfast: Cold and flavorless Unfortunately, our Egg Benedict in the café was not satisfactory. Both the sauce and bacon were cold, and the grain roll underneath did nothing to save the flavor. There is definitely room for improvement here in terms of breakfast quality. The very soft crossaints were carelessly served on the plate with packaged jam and Nutella. In addition, the service was also disappointing. The waitress seemed distracted and was using WhatsApp voice messages loudly for everyone to hear during our stay. Unfortunately also with words like A*******och etc. We definitely didn't want to hear that, but it was unmistakable. Overall, this left a less than professional impression. The coffee was delicious. No card payment possible!

There were four of us in the restaurant, I ordered Bolognese and my wife ordered a chicken burger. The plates were beautifully presented and served. The Bolognese was plentiful and tasted good, the burger was only lukewarm, tasted good, and the fries were very tasty. Trotz 4 Bedienungen müsste man sich bemerkbar machen. Sachen vergessen. Und das allerschlimmste: keine Kartenzahlung. Nur bar oder PayPal.

Von außen sehr schön, auch innen charmant eingerichtet. Leider war der Service sehr verwirrt. Hat uns vergessen, abgeräumt bevor wir fertig waren. Weiterhin schlief an dem Nebentisch einfach jemand. Nachdem wir das Menü des Tages angeboten bekamen und dieses bestellten, wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass es dies seit einer Woche nicht mehr gibt. Essen war in Ordnung.

La pizza esquisita. Además fuimos con nuestra hija celíaca y nos hicieron pollo a la plancha para ella. Comida recién elaborada. La atención de 10. Totalmente recomendable. Ambiente tranquilo.

Waren heute Abend mit mehreren Personen da gewesen, und wir alle sind begeistert. Das Essen und der Service waren super. Es hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Personal ist super freundlich. Sehr empfehlenswert und immer wieder gerne👌👌

Wir haben dort heute bestellt nachdem meine Frau dort gestern Weihnachtsfeier hatte. Das Essen war super lecker, die Beratung war super, absolut nichts zu beschweren. Nachdem es extreme Probleme beim onlinebestellen gab, haben ich ein kostenloses Getränk bekommen und sowohl die Küche als auch der Service haben sich zusammen dem Problem gestellt und das beste schnellstmöglich draus gemacht. Super Service! Aber trotzdem werde ich zukünftig nur noch per Telefon bestellen!

Das Da-Vinci in Gießen gehört schon lange zu meinen Lieblingsorten in der schönen Lahnstadt, die gleichzeitig mein Geburtsort ist. Knusprige Bruschetta, eine erfrischende Kirschsaftschorle sowie ein perfekt gezapftes kühles Bier. Dazu Personal, das einfach nur bezaubernd und humorvoll ist! :-) Wie könnte ich meine Heimat am Vortag des Tages der deutschen Einheit besser genießen als auf diese Weise in Gießen?! Dankeschön! 5 Sterne mal drei, ich war dabei!!! 😁

Hatten einen prima Abend, Sehr motivierter und freundlicher Kellner. Gruß aus der Küche und sehr leckeres und reichlichen Essen. Drei "Gänge in ca. 1,5h". Saßen nett draußen in der Fußgängerzone. Es gab dünne Decken und IR-Heizstrahler. Kommen bestimmt wieder. Karte scheint sich geändert zu haben.

Haben heute dort sensationell gespeist. Ich hatte Tagliatelle mit Gemüse, meine Freundin ne Veggie Pizza. In meinen Nudeln war so viel frisches Gemüse und sogar frische Pfifferlinge. Es war ein Highlight für Augen und Gaumen. Obendrein war das Personal sehr sympathisch und entspannt. Fazit : Den Koch bzw. die Köchin bitte nicht wechseln!!!!!!!!

Durch Zufall auf der Durchreise in Gießen auf dieses Lokal gestoßen. Volle Punkt Zahl! Erstklassiger Service und unfassbar Gutes Essen, fast schon Sterne Niveau. Sehr aufmerksame und zuvorkommende Bedienung. Weiter so. Besuch hat sich gelohnt.

So leckeres Essen und die Atmosphäre dort einfach Top. Die Bedingung ist extrem freundlich und immer für gute Laune zu haben.

Wir haben nur was getrunken und soweit war alles in Ordnung hausgemachte Limo war lecker. Nur was mich stört ist, wenn sie Bedienung so unglaublich unmotiviert aus der Wäsche guckt und jedes Lächeln eine Qual zu sein scheint. Nicht wirklich schlimm, aber wenn ich unmotivierte Menschen um mich haben will, bleibe ich mit meinem Spiegel allein zu Haus. Aber da am Service ansonsten nichts wirklich zu beanstanden war: drei Sterne dafür.

Die Bedienung war so unfreundlich, wie ich es noch nie erlebt habe. Die Lustlosigkeit, falschen Blicke und fehlende Sympathie, wie man es sonst erwarten würde, haben mich dazu gebracht mir vorzunehmen, nie wieder dort hin zu gehen.

Das Personal war mit dem Publikum überfordert, zudem unfreundlich und unaufmerksam. Wir haben beinahe eine Stunde auf unser Essen gewartet. Eine neue Getränkebestellung wurde nur auf unseren Hinweis hin aufgenommen.

I like eating here for the atmosphere on the pedestrian street. The staff are friendly enough. The food and drinks are average, however on the kids menu the chicken fingers are just superb...they are real chicken and very soft. Our kids loved them. I will return but prefer eating their breakfast menu which I love. Check the detail on your bill as our last meal was quite expensive for just a lunch.

Da Vinci is a cafe belonging to the Italian restaurant "Zum Lowen" just across the street. It offers snack like panini, bruschetta, cakes. The innovation is the pasta buffet every Wednesday and pizza buffet every Tuesday. We tried the pasta, it was very good.

You can eat here something small with excellent quality. Similar to the "tapas" or a "bocadillo ". The service is great and that helps when the time rushes.
