Gießen's best burger shop in terms of price/performance. Next door Red Chillis is also a blast!

My birthday party in this location and with this great service, again at any time. My guests and I enjoyed our time at the Gießen boathouse.

The atmosphere was okay, the places upstairs are actually much nicer, we were downstairs, it wasn't nice and it wasn't very bad, but you were so cramped that you heard every conversation people had. Therefore 2/5 stars. In terms of service, actually perfect, advice etc. top, very very friendly service. 5/5 stars justified. Let's get to food. The meal wasn't quite the great experience that we had a few years ago and that we actually really missed today. - First of all, why would you give a guest burnt or half raw castle bones, or where you can throw half away? I'm really wondering, it's all well and good, you had delicious meat, but sometimes just raw meat and then every now and then a lot of burnt meat, as if you had tried to reheat the leftovers from yesterday. One thing about castle bones in general, I can definitely remember the last 2-3 times (a few years ago) that the castle bones had twice as much meat on them. The bones of today were nothing compared to back then. - Mini baguette was delicious with the garlic dip. - Knobi Tunke. Yes, it would be nice if it also had the garlic spiciness or you could also offer 2 variants, that would be really nice. You are disappointed by the taste like garlic dip for meat and the lack of spiciness. - Potato was great, but as always not perfectly cooked and probably barely warm after a few minutes due to the cold quark. Quark and potatoes separately would be much, much better. There's a lot of curd in one place and the curd cools the potato. - Garlic cream soup was somehow delicious, but tasted more like mushroom soup and it was very runny. - Sheep cheese was delicious, you can't complain - Hinkelschenkel. No thanks, put the marinated chicken thighs from the supermarket in the oven and you have delicious thighs. And and and... The food used to be better.
