Bistro Çeșme in Gießen

Es war Montag, es war spät - ich wurde superfreundlich beraten und bedient, die Karte ist „Snack-lastig“ und ich hatte ein Baguette. Sah aus wie in der Karte: super frische Zutaten, geschmacklich toll! Ich habe zu schnell gefuttert, daher kein Foto. Aber ich komme gerne wieder :)

Very good price-performance ratio!

I was here on December 31st. 24 and honestly have never seen such a brilliant performance. Comedy at its best. We heard the song Last Christmas - no joke - 50 times in an endless loop, the "boss" served in a jacket (apparently it was too cold or he was too slow), the waitress ignored the calls of the guests, the toilet was closed defect. the bill was handwritten with no prices and drinks that weren't delivered...the food came on a dining cart and had the feel of a hospital/retirement home. I'll keep it short, otherwise it'll be another 20 pages. Food ok, if available. Menu is handed over and when ordering said...we don't have it or it's out... Ambience: Cold. Heating doesn't seem to work and the large rooms are mostly empty. It was a fun experience. If the food hadn't lived up to expectations, things would have escalated. Conclusion: the store will close in 6 months at the latest. Somehow everything used to be better in Alt Gießen with the home-brewed beer and local specialties...
