A really nice restaurant with very good food and extremely friendly and attentive staff.

The food at the Schwarzen Kreuz is truly outstanding – top-notch, beautifully presented, and truly delicious. The staff is consistently friendly and attentive, and families with children are also very welcome. Unfortunately, we've noticed for some time now that attempts to make reservations – whether several days in advance or on the same day – are repeatedly rejected with a "We're full." The usual explanation is that larger groups of 12 to 16 people are present. While this may be understandable from an organizational perspective, it becomes increasingly frustrating when you consistently don't get a table.

The pizza and the mixed salad were absolutely delicious. The pizza would easily have been enough for two people. The service was very friendly, although the few words of Italian spoken didn't sound genuine, more like a forced attempt.

Very cozy atmosphere! The server was friendly and quick with service. We had two dishes and salads. The salad was an iceberg lettuce with a vinaigrette and a single olive. The beef stroganoff was not like the American version as there were no egg noodles. The meat was a tad gamey. The spaetzle was a huge portion with fried onions; it tasted like a good Mac n cheese. It’s more like a side dish.

We had a table right by the entrance. This table is more of a last resort. Therefore, one point deducted for ambiance.

Portion sizes are decent. The sausages were of very good quality. 👍🏼 The beer is recommended.

The falafel plate (12 EUR) is great! Lovingly prepared with fresh ingredients.

It has a beautiful aquarium with colorful fish, and the service was friendly, but otherwise, I wasn't that impressed. Maybe I was there too late in the evening, though.

Everything is perfect here! You have to eat here, it's simply super, super delicious 😋

We held our Christmas party at Osteria de Michele and were absolutely delighted. The organization was superb, the menu selection excellent, and the food simply delicious. On top of that, the team was incredibly friendly and attentive, making the evening perfect. Highly recommended – we'll definitely be back!

Friends say it's supposed to be fine dining. And it certainly tastes good! However, I'm not sure if the prices really reflect the quality of the food. I'll have to think about that some more, and next time I'd rather drive a few kilometers further to the Hersbrucker Schweiz region for a meal. If you don't want to travel that far, have a suitable bank account, and want to enjoy the beautiful view in summer, then this place is definitely for you.

The banh mi were very tasty, but too small for a normal appetite :( The bread was very crumbly, but the tofu was super delicious!

Incredibly friendly staff, incredibly attentive to children despite the restaurant being very full in the evening. Sensational food. Thank you so much!
