Small and cozy, quietly located in the city center, this Greek restaurant offers a pleasant atmosphere both inside and out. The menu includes all the classics, and the food is freshly prepared and delicious. Chef Angelos is friendly, attentive, and makes you feel at home.

As Greeks, it can sometimes be difficult to find a Greek restaurant that satisfies our needs. But after a visit to Ouzo, we always leave satisfied. Very good food and very friendly staff.

The dish was supposed to be gyros metaxa, but the taste had nothing to do with Metaxa. I think it was simply confused with the menu item one line above the "gyros metaxa." I don't understand why the waiter then explained to me that they use a small amount of Metaxa so that guests don't get dizzy, and then he added, "If you're full, everything's fine." Can't you just admit a mistake?

Super delicious food and a very family-friendly atmosphere. A restaurant/tavern where you feel at home. The junior chefs are very friendly and attentive. They've learned their craft well. Mom and Dad prepare very, very delicious Greek dishes.

The two of us went to Ouzo today and thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful weather outside. The food was delicious and really authentic, exactly what you would hope for from a good Greek restaurant. But what really blew us away was the service: the waiter was so warm and attentive that we immediately felt like regular customers. It's rare to experience such genuine hospitality anymore - it's simply great! The waiting time for the food was also great, everything went quickly and without any hassle. We will definitely come back again, next time we will bring our families with us. A really nice evening!

We had a delightful dining experience at this restaurant. The food was delicious, featuring fresh fish and vegetables, and the staff provided pleasant service. The waiting time for our meal was minimal, and the portion sizes were just right. However, after our meal, we felt it was a bit heavy, even though we ordered fish with vegetables, which shouldn’t have been overly greasy.

I don't know the name of these dishes but they are delicious, very Mediterranean. I let the waiter advise me and I had a great time, they also served me an excellent wine. Very good

Seeehr leckeres Essen! Toller, netter und aufmerksamer Service. Speisen konnten problemlos angepasst bzw. zusammengestellt werden. Dass es ein Familienbetrieb ist, macht das Restaurant noch sympathischer 😊. Das Fleisch und der Octupus / Kalamari sehr zart und lecker gewürzt. Alles hochwertige Qualität! Die Preise absolut angebracht. Wir sind begeistert ein "neues " griechisches Restaurant in Aschaffenburg gefunden zu haben und freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch!

Over the weekend we went to this wonderful Greek restaurant and it was just great! From the warm welcome to the last bite, everything was great. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, and the decoration brings a piece of Greece to us. The food was an absolute delight! The starter was grilled pepperoni and pide bread. The main course was gyros with Kritharaki and a gyros casserole with fat and potatoes - it was tender and perfectly seasoned. The service was friendly, attentive and always tried to make sure we didn't lack anything. Price-performance ratio is also right. We highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning soon!

Wir waren mit unserer Fußballmannschaft und insgesamt 14 Mann im Restaurant Ouzo Taverne essen. Wir hatten im Voraus einen schönen Tisch im Außenbereich reserviert. Das hat alles super geklappt. Vom ersten Moment an war der junge Kellner super gelaunt, freundlich, witzig und auf Zack. Er hat einen perfekten Service geboten. Wir bestellen diverse Vorspeisen und Hauptspeisen und jedes Gericht hat ausnahmslos hervorragend geschmeckt. Das Restaurant ist absolut empfehlenswert und wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Wir gehen gerne hin und gerne wieder hin. Obwohl die Preise relativ straff sind (pro Person etwa 30 €), stimmt hier einfach alles. Super leckeres Essen, schneller Service, Publikum und Ambiente passen einfach. Stünde nicht die Agatha-Kirche gegenüber, könnte man auch in Saloniki sein…

Recently in Lüdenscheid with my colleague from Munich! spoken. Oh, yesterday I was in Aschaffenburg at the Greek restaurant. "The food was delicious, but the fries were the cherry on top." Wait, where were you? In from? Which Greek? Well, there, in the Ouzo tavern. OK Tobi, I'll try it out. Today was the day. To the seminar in Aschaffenburg. Dinner. Hunger. I want to try the fries too... As a starter, toasted bread with tzatziki. In between there was a side dish stop. Main course meat skewer with P O M M E S. From me too: A clear recommendation for these fries. For me everything was really good and the fries were really great. My conclusion. Repeat factor for me 99.9%

Update June 15, 2024 We were with you again yesterday and it was really very good again. Very stable performance and always very friendly. Update December 31, 2023 There were four of us in the tavern. It was again very tasty. The eggplant cream could have been seasoned a little better, it tasted pretty bland. Your souvlaki is very tasty - you've really got it - the gyros could be a little crispier - that could be better. The mocha was very tasty. All in all, another very solid and good performance - we'll be happy to come back. It was our first time at the Ouzo tavern and we ordered plenty of appetizers and a mix grill platter. It was actually very good across the board, only the gyro was too small for me, it was really just small pieces. Very attentive conditions, even brought my wife a blanket when it got colder. The only point of criticism - the tip was kept almost automatically without us saying "That's right". Although we would have given it that way. We will definitely come back and maybe it will be 5 stars.

We spontaneously went here for dinner today. We were greeted warmly and got our tickets quickly. The drinks for us adults came quite quickly, the drink for our son was unfortunately forgotten and came immediately when asked. The food was sufficient and good, unfortunately we had to wait a relatively long time (almost an hour). The espresso we ordered afterwards was also forgotten; when we asked, we got it on the house. When we were told the invoice amount when paying, it was 20 euros higher than it actually was. This turned out to be the case when we pointed out that it was too high. All other tables were offered an ouzo when paying, but not us. Here too we received another one upon request. Basically the visit was ok, but we wouldn't come again

Nice and secluded if the time is right, sometimes the cars are annoying. The food and service are top notch, not much more can be said about it

We ended up here by chance. Ambiance is fine. The menu is clear (I think it's good), not too much choice but not too little either. Personal plates/platters can be put together upon request. The Chtipiti starter was extremely tasty. We shared this (3 people) so there was still room for the main course. Bread was served later, which was great. In general we were served very friendly and attentively. The souvlaki, lamb chops and the Sahanaki were very seasoned, so we had nothing to complain about in terms of taste. The souvlaki skewer (children's plate) was extremely tender - we haven't had it served like this in a long time. Price/performance is completely okay. Thank you, we'll be happy to come back if we're in Aschaffenburg again

We had dinner for two here on a Tuesday evening. The place was about half full, and the service was excellent. Both main dishes tasted great although I can't comment on their authenticity as I'm not well versed in Greek cuisine. I noticed many main dishes were served with chips on the side but I assume you could ask to swap them. I had the moussaka and I can recommend it.

Waren zu zweit dort zum Abendessen gewesen. Eine ganz süße kleine Taverne mit einer ganz tollen Speisenkarte. Essen super, Ambiente super, Bedienung sehr sehr freundlich. Preis-Leistung vollkommen korrekt. Wir haben wunderbare Stunden dort verbracht. Bitte vorher unbedingt einen Tisch reservieren. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!👍

Wir waren heute das erste Mal dort Essen und fanden es dort sehr gemütlich. Schöne kleine Taverne mit geschmackvoller Einrichtung. Die Bedienung war super freundlich. Leider war weder ein Grillteller noch eine Grillplatte auf der Karte zu finden. Auf Nachfrage bei der Bedienung wurde uns aber gesagt wir könnten auch eine „gemischte Platte“ bekommen. Auf der Platte waren, Gyros, Bifteki, Lammkotelett, Souvlaki, Pommes und gebratenes Gemüse. Die Platte war wirklich gut. Es war alles wie üblich mit Thymian gewürzt, aber es war damit nicht überladen. Der Preis für die Platte mit knapp 20€ war auch gerechtfertigt. Alles in allem war es ein schöner Abend.

Kuschelig klein mit stilvollem Ambiente. Im Sommer wenige Tische draußen. Original griechische Küche. Sogar Mousaka und Pastitzio. Freundliches Personal. Essen schnell auf dem Tisch. Zu erwähnen ist noch das selbstgemachte Sauerteigbrot!! 😋 Absolute Empfehlung!

Ein authentisch-griechisches Restaurant mit dem gewissen Etwas! Von dem Essen waren wir begeistert: frisch zubereitet, das Fleisch geschmacklich aromatisch und perfekt gewürzt mit tollen Beilagen (frischem knackigen Salat, Grillgemüse aus Zucchini, Auberginen, Pilzen, Bohnen und Tomaten). Der Chef war beim Service unglaublich aufmerksam, dabei unaufdringlich und freundlich. Wir waren nur auf der Durchreise nach Dortmund, kommen aber gerne wieder, sobald wir nochmal in Aschaffenburg sind. Vielen Dank für den schönen griechischen Abend!
