It took a really long time and they were very unfriendly. They gave us the wrong prices and the food was the same but the ketchup was out of date.

Good Bavarian-Swabian cuisine. Large portions are available for hungry guests. I had vegetarian food, and it was absolutely delicious. The meat was great. Friendly, attentive service. Excellent value for money. I'd be happy to go again.

We had lunch at the Landgasthof Probst. Ordering took quite a while, but the food was on the table in less than five minutes. The food was almost cold. The Braumeister fillet tips weren't fillet at all. They were tough and tasteless. The Kässpätzle were bland. On the other hand, the beer sauce was too thick. The service was overworked. Two dining rooms and the outside area were too big to manage on their own. My wife's Wiener Schnitzel was overcooked and dry, and the fries had probably been through the fryer twice, they were so grease-coated. The country inn is not a culinary gem. A second visit is not possible.

Seats reserved, 11:30 a.m., fine. The menu was varied, but the food wasn't even worth a star. I ordered a Wiener Schnitzel with fries and salad for €16.00. The food arrived after 5 minutes. The fries were lukewarm, fried too early, out of stock, not the right color, yellow and soggy. The schnitzel was light, not crispy, rather soaked in the semi-soft breading, bland in taste. Too few staff members weren't visible, and so, sorry, afterwards, too few staff members. The salad with pre-cooked cabbage and carrots was enlarged. The one cherry tomato, the slices of radish, and the three pieces of lettuce and cress tasted like the same salad dressing, 🥒, had been soaked for a while and was half-hard. Even espresso/coffee is no excuse, because the same thing happened with the fillet tips (pork fillet) in dark beer sauce, served cold. Pre-fried onions on the overcooked cheese spaetzle, and the meat, soft-cooked pork breast, cost €24.00. The first redcurrant juice swirl came with it, which tasted good, but the second was watered down, and no one came to say anything before we paid. €44.50 for poor cooking quality and service, and they refused to accept the espresso apology. We're happy to pay the Corona surcharge, but not for something like this. It won't change if no one complains; it was less busy anyway. Kaltenberg sends its regards

No card payments, and the "Gaststube" sign is tiny. And with a spring wreath hanging on the door, you can't even see the sign. There should be a signpost/information sign on the wall. Parking is easy 👍🏻

The floor squeaks with every step and the bed is absolutely uncomfortable. The shower was actually quite ok. I still wouldn't recommend the rooms. But we shot the bird and had breakfast. Rolls, some sausage/cheese, butter and jam as well as a bottle of orange juice and coffee. There is no water. Coffee came from the next table as he left. When I asked if I would get an egg because I'm not allowed to eat rolls due to my diet, I was only told that they weren't included in the price. The boss doesn't want that. There was no response to my argument that I don't eat anything else. Therefore I can only advise against the guest room/breakfast. The restaurant was closed (closed on Mondays) so I can't say anything about it.

After we were in the Weil wildlife park we urgently needed some refreshment. That's when we came across this country inn. The food was absolutely top. Everything was prepared very quickly and tasted really fantastic. Can only be recommended!

It was our first time eating there and it was just great, the food was super tasty and the meat was cooked to perfection and so tender and the portion size was more than enough. Price/performance simply perfect. And the employees were super friendly, helpful and everything went very quickly. We'll definitely be back.

Went for lunch on a Friday. Food was quite good but not particularly good either. What was annoying was that the two meals came about 10 minutes apart. The service was very nice and the restaurant was very authentic.

At first everything seemed fine, a rural place with local food and good portions. Menu price 14.50 without dessert or drink. We asked him for tap water, which is available everywhere, for a while to understand each other because he didn't feel like it. In the end she brought us 2 large glasses and to our surprise that when the bill arrived (which cannot be paid except with cash) they had charged us for the glasses of water at €2 each, we asked her for explanations and she R that R that it was like that. After much insistence he returned the €4 to us. Treating tourism like this does them little good. So I'm sorry, but I think the laughter that spread throughout the free water was unnecessary. Let them know that tap water should be put on the table without even asking for it. In France it is the first thing they serve you and it is very delicious, fresh, which is appreciated in the heat. I would never repeat it again.

Down-to-earth, traditional and excellent cuisine. Child friendly and very fast service. The Paulaner Schnitzel is a dream and the homemade spaetzle is one of the best we have eaten in a long time. The side salad tastes good! (Unfortunately no longer a given) We have been here several times and enjoy coming back again and again.

On Sundays you wait longer for the bill than for the food. On Tuesday the kitchen closes as the mood takes you, regardless of the opening times.

We had lunch on a weekday. The service was very friendly and quick. We had the lunch menu. It was excellent. Price/performance fits. What was a bit strange was that a €1 surcharge was charged for a small change, even though the soup was skipped for one meal.

Both meals were not freshly made. The schnitzel was just warmed up and baked, potato salad and fries in a bowl, served with dill. The pork tenderloin was not browned, dry and squeaked when cut. The vegetables and salad that came with it were also sprinkled with dill. If you like that, you can eat there.

There were 8 of us for a white sausage dinner on glumpy Thursday. Great atmosphere in a pleasant atmosphere. Staff attentive and friendly. Absolutely recommended for food too

Good Bavarian country inn. I can't say anything about the rooms, the inn has very good food at a reasonable price and they have their kitchen under control. Despite the large event in the hall, the food arrived quickly and as ordered. The portions are very large, but you can also order small ones but I was charged €2 less. The service was very friendly this time, which is why it's 5 stars today, but that's not always the case. You can also order to be picked up here, which usually works well, but on weekends it can happen that the order is rejected because there is a lot going on in the restaurant. Orders for pickup can only be placed until 8 p.m., at least on Thursdays.

Wollte für eine Taufe im Mai reservieren. Wurde recht unhöflich am Telefon von einer älteren Dame angeredet, was mir denn einfalle, um die Mittagszeit wegen einer Reservierung anzurufen. Dann wurde einfach aufgelegt. Schade, denn dort war das Essen und der Service immer super! Aber dann werden wir uns für die Taufe ein anderes Restaurant suchen.

Spontane Reservierung war kein Problem. Wir wurden super freundlich bedient, konnten schnell bestellen und bekamen wie im Flug unser Essen. Die Bedienung machte uns auf die mega Portionen aufmerksam, und konnten für die Kinder eine kleiner bestellen. Kommen gerne wieder

Schnitzel der Extra Klasse 😋 Mega lecker, Mega groß, Preis Leistung Einfach Grandios, besser geht nicht, besonders auch das Tagesmenü Thema, einfach alles spitze .

Wir waren mit Schwager, Schwägerin und unseren Kids dort. Nachdem wir dort während des lockdown immer Essen abgeholt haben wurden wir erneut überrascht da es schon lecker war aber vor Ort nochmals besser und einfach nur perfekt. Die Karte ist relativ klein aber sowas spricht ja auch für ein gutes Lokal da sich hier richtig auf die Speisen konzentriert wird. Wir hatten zwar an der Auswahl überlegt, sind dann aber alle bei den Wiener Schnitzel hängen geblieben. Dazu bestellt haben wir dunkelbier sauce und gedünstete/geröstete Zwiebeln. Es war sooooo lecker, die Kids bekamen einen Räuberteller und ne Portion Pommes und von unseren riesen Schnitzel etwas ab. Alle waren satt und es hat uns mehr als gut geschmeckt. Die Bedienung war sehr sehr nett und zuvorkommend, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und freuen uns schon jetzt auf den nächsten Besuch. Super Qualität, wohlfühlen und satt werden muss auch nicht immer hohe Preise bedeuten bzw manchmal schließen sich einige Dinge aus, aber nicht bei Probst.... Einfach alles hat gepasst. Update: immer noch und immer wieder sehr gut, gleichbleibende Qualität und Geschmack auf hohem Niveau

Scheint ein sehr beliebtes und wahrscheinlich auch sehr gutes Lokal zu sein. Leider war er an einem Sonntag Mittag um kurz vor 12 bereits kompett überfüllt. Das Angebot, uns zu anderen an den Tisch zu setzen ist zwar nett gemeint, aber sowohl uns als auch den anderen Gästen gegenüber unhöflich. Daher sind wir wieder gegangen.

Servicewüste Deutschland läßt grüßen! Extrawunsch für eine alte Gästin wird konsequent ignoriert. Zweimal wurde die "Küche" gebeten das Gemüse durchzudünsten, vergeblich. Bei der zweiten Tischreservierung wurde sogar telefonisch zugesagt, daß das Gemüse durchgedünstet würde. Was dann allerdings nicht geschah. Nicht einmal für eine alte Stammgästin, die über Jahrzehnte mit Familie ihr Geld in dieses Gasthaus getragen hat. Das hat nichts mit Kochkunst zutun, sondern nur mit Arroganz und Borniertheit. Schade!!!

Wir freuten uns auf ein Geburtstagsessen. Freundlich, aber bestimmt, wurden wir 11 aufgefordert unsere Getränke zu bestellen. Leider ohne Getränkekarte und mit dem Hinweis, ich kann Ihnen doch nicht alles aufzählen was wir haben. Die Speisekarte kam dann direkt zur Essensbestellung. Das Essen war etwas schwach gewürzt, aber noch OK und reichhaltig. Es wäre nett vom Koch gewesen, die Blattsalate vom Sand zu befreien. Es ist ein typischer Landgasthof mit vielen Fliegen die aus dem anliegenden Pferdestall keine Mühe hatten, den Gastraum zu finden.

Wir waren ganz spontan dort, nachdem wir als Kindergartengruppe im naheliegenden Wildpark waren. Telefonisch angefragt, ob noch ein Platz für uns (16 Personen) ist, wurden wir knappe 10min später mit einer schön her gerichteten Tafel und einer wirklich super netten Bedienung empfangen. Die Getränken waren sehr schnell am Tisch und auch auf das essen mussten wir nicht lang warten. Die Portionen waren wirklich groß und auch die Kinderpommes waren mehr als ausreichend. Geschmeckt hat es uns ausnahmslos allen sehr gut. Es war alles frisch und mit liebe zubereitet. Auch trotz unserer herum spielenden Kinder, hatten wir keinen Moment das Gefühl, dass sich jemand gestört fühlt. Die Bedienung war außerordentlich nett und zuvorkommend. Für die Lage muss ich einen Stern abziehen, weil der Biergarten direkt nach einer kurve an der Straße liegt und kein Zaun vorhanden ist. Vielleicht wäre es eine Idee die Bestuhlung auf die andere Seite vom Eingang zu legen, wo die einzelnen Tische standen. Nichts desto trotz,Ich werde definitiv mit meiner Familie dort wieder einmal hin fahren.

Abendessen 3 Personen: der Biergarten befindet sich direkt am Haus, gute Beschattung, dann Parkplatz und dann ein Pferdehof. Wir fanden es ok und hat nicht gestört. Der Beilagensalat war ansprechend angerichtet wobei der Blattsalat im Dressing etwas an Kraft verloren hat. Das Essen war ok nur die Zwiebeln waren ungewohnt lasch und zäh. Aber auch hier sehr ansprechend angerichtet. Der Rest des Gasthofes muss wohl noch besser sein, er war sehr sehr gut besucht. Die Bedienung hat uns freundlich und aufmerksam bedient. Es ist keine Kartenzahlung möglich aber Banken in der Nähe.
