I don't eat out as often as I used to. But when I do, Zorbas in Amberg is always a top choice. The restaurant isn't trendy, but it's inviting and makes you feel welcome. Classic Greek cuisine might not be that complex or extravagant, but here you can taste the subtle nuances of high quality. Everything is fresh, the meat is tender and well-seasoned, and the roasted dishes arrive piping hot and juicy. And the price is right, too. What more could you want?

A lovely inn in a beautiful valley with a cozy breakfast room and a dining room with a fireplace. Excellent rooms, though noisy; you can hear the upstairs neighbors stomping around. The food is good, but very salty. A great base for hiking; the walk to Gerstruben is well worth it, even in the rain.

This is absolutely unacceptable. We've been customers for years and order quite a lot, even though we've found all sorts of things in our food, like a hair or a thread. But what's completely unacceptable and a no-go is putting a bead in the food! Do you use beads to dry chicken in the kitchen, or how am I supposed to explain this? You really need to start thinking about workplace hygiene. Never again Ganesha! 😡
