Schöne Pizzeria und sehr lecker essen. Bedienung selber sehr freundlich.

Wir waren in unserem Urlaub im Juni einige Male bei Mamma Lucia essen. Das Personal war immer zuvorkommend, das Essen, ob Nudeln oder Pizza waren sehr lecker. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis absolut okay. Bei unserem nächsten Aufenthalt kommen wir gerne wieder....

Ganz tolles Restaurant. Freundliches und umsichtiges Personal. Wir haben schnell unser Essen und Getränke bekommen. Vorspeisen, Hauptgänge und Desserts waren sehr lecker. Schöne ruhige Lage.

Wir saßen auf der Terrasse neben dem Restaurant. Die Stühle sind nicht sehr bequem, und man sitzt etwas schräg auf dem Bürgersteig. Daher die drei Sterne für das Ambiente. Ich habe kurz hineingeschaut, und es wirkte sehr gemütlich. Der Service war sehr gut und schnell, und der Kellner war auch sehr freundlich! Das Essen war sehr lecker und wurde ebenfalls schnell serviert. Absolut empfehlenswert! Ich habe köstlich gegessen.

Das ist eine sehr gute Pizzeria. Leckeres Essen, freundlicher Service und eine gemütliche, ungezwungene Atmosphäre. Wir waren während unseres zehntägigen Urlaubs dreimal dort.

Wir waren auf Empfehlung hier und hatten vorher reserviert. Bei Ankunft war es schon gut besucht. Personal war freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Pizzen haben uns nicht so überzeugt, teilweise bisschen dunkel, wirkten eher lieblos angerichtet (der Eifler würde sagen, „der Belag wurde einfach drauf gerotzt“) Geschmacklich okay, nicht schlecht, aber für unseren Geschmack auch nicht das „Wow, hier gehen wir morgen direkt nochmal hin.“ Alles in allem eine gute durchschnittliche Qualität mit nettem Personal und angemessenem Preis.

Wir waren spontan bei Mama Lucia. Wir bekamen direkt einen Platz im Außenbereich. Heute waren 28 Grad und entsprechend war es am Abend noch sehr warm. Die Bedienung war flott und sehr freundlich. Das Essen (Calzone und Pizza Tonno) war sehr gut zubereitet und reichhaltig belegt. Zum Abschluss würde ein Limocelli gereicht. Vielen Dank für den schönen Abend.

Unglaublich lecker im freundlichen Ambiente.

Italien puur. Meine Frau und ich haben super gut dort gegessen. Pitza molto beeeene und Lasagne wie im Teaum. Bedienung und Küche super net. Auch der Limmongello zu gut. ;)) Lieben Dank an diese Tolle Manschaft. YL.g. Peter

Certainly a nearby alternative to the restaurants on the Obermarkt. The pizza tastes better than average. The other dishes are okay. They initially served bread, but without any spread or dip—what's the point? And why the constant barrage of Italian pop music that absolutely no one wants to hear? We only learned that card payments aren't accepted when the bill arrived.

A great place to visit for Bavarian history

We were there for our daughter's birthday. You should reserve a table in advance. The owners are friendly, very humble, and engaging. The restaurant is clean and comfortably decorated. We'll be back, especially for the wood-fired pizza and the mussels in white wine sauce... P.S.: Unfortunately, we only accept cash payments!

Years ago, this was our favorite Italian restaurant in Mittenwald, but now I can't recommend it enough! Incompetent staff and mediocre food. The pizza we ordered was delivered after 20 minutes, but the bruschetta took 35 minutes to arrive. At the next table, guests left the restaurant because the wrong drinks were delivered! We will never go back to this dump!

We had pizza for lunch today and can only say: absolutely delicious! Wonderfully crispy base, the taste simply amazing. Service was fast and very friendly. We'll definitely be back!!!

It's a nice place. The pizzas are tasty, but some spots were a bit too dark for our taste. Paying in cash is a downside, though, as it's neither modern nor service-oriented. Furthermore, the service was a bit distracted and inattentive.

Highly recommended for any visit to Mittenwald! There were four of us, without a reservation, and we got a nice table right away. The staff was really friendly and accommodating; there was no waiting time at all; all our requests were immediately fulfilled. They even read out the daily specials and explained them. We had starters, main courses, and desserts! Highly recommended!

Pizza quite ok, a bit too much tomato paste, little tuna, more cheese

Well, it's not easy to rate. The food was excellent, the Limoncello Spritz was fantastic. The prices are okay. The atmosphere is okay. I find it difficult to pay only in cash. However, the service was not good. This was due to the fact that the place was full and there were only three waiters. They were hopelessly overwhelmed.

The most exemplary Italian restaurant ever. Incredibly delicious, large portions. Very Italian service.

It was tasty, but I've had better pizzas. My companion really enjoyed it. No card payments, which was a shame because we had to go back to the Sparkasse bank.

There were ten of us at Pizzeria Mamma Lucia. The food and drinks arrived relatively quickly. The pizzas and pasta dishes were all very good. The garlic oil served with them was also fresh and truly delicious. Unfortunately, after the tables were cleared, we sat for ages with our empty glasses. The waiter didn't ask for more drinks, nor was it possible to call the server again. We also had to ask three times to pay. What a shame! ☹️

We went there twice in one week. In our opinion, there's no better Italian restaurant in Mittenwald, which is probably partly due to the fact that it's run by Italians. Highly recommended 👍

Good morning, I'd like to share what's already obvious if you read other customers' reviews, but for my part, I can only highlight the professionalism, commitment, friendliness, and, last but not least, the excellent service I had the pleasure and honor of experiencing today. Let me explain: as a true Neapolitan, I have a predilection for fish, and today, in BAVARIA, I was able to enjoy a mixed grill fit for a KING. MY HEARTFELT CONGRATULATIONS TO THE ENTIRE STAFF. Four of us went for pizza. As Italians or regulars, we were wonderfully taken care of. The other customers were more like second-rate guests. We even had to ask for the bill several times. It's a shame.

We had a great dinner at this Italian restaurant in Mittenwald. The menu has lots of choices—from starters like veal and carpaccio to plenty of pizzas. We ordered the Calzone and it was really tasty, with a nice crispy crust and rich filling. For the main dishes, there are plenty to choose from too—like filet steak, veal with mushroom sauce, and a fish platter. Everything we tried was fresh and well-prepared. The vibe was relaxed. I would definitely recommend if you’re in town and in the mood for Italian food.

We were at Mamma Lucia's on May 2nd, 2025. My salami pizza + salad was very tasty. Staff super friendly and quick. My wife's lasagna was also very good. We'll be back on our next vacation in Mittenwald. PS: The pizzeria has been around for 25 years, that says it all. 100% recommendation from us. 😁

After a trip to Mittenwald we decided to visit this pizzeria, the waiter was very friendly, the rooms are also very nice, we ordered 3 pizzas and 1 Bolognese spaghetti, the meals came relatively quickly and everything was very, very tasty The portions were also very large. Aufgrund guter Bewertungen besuchten wir dieses Restaurant. Leider lief nicht alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit. Obwohl wir für abends einen Tisch bestellt hatten, erfolgte keine Reservierung und wir wurden in einem fast leeren Nebenraum platziert. Die gute Laune war dahin. Da wir Hunger hatten, blieben wir trotzdem. Bei der Vorspeise das nächste Malheur, eine Toastscheibe beim Bruschetta war schwarz - verbrannt. Musste leider zurückgegeben werden. Ansonsten war das Essen gut und schmeckte Allen.

We took pizza with us, the pizza wasn't round, wasn't nice, burnt, tasted sour, the filling wasn't placed neatly, just piled up in one place. Not enough filling. I didn't like it. For that much money it could have been prepared better.

Dieser Laden hat in Bezug auf Niveau und Qualität in einem Masse abgebaut, das atemberaubend ist. Noch gut erinnerlich sind die Anfangszeiten nach der Übernahme von Karin Bellini. Hummer (ohne Hummerbesteck) wurde angeboten und hochwertige Fleischgerichte für Mittenwalds (nicht existierende) Haute Volaite. Schnell wurde erkannt, dass man sich damit total auf dem Holzweg befand. Heutzutage ist man hier aber nicht einmal mehr in der Lage, ein einigermassen schmackhaftes Nudelgericht auf den Tisch zu bringen. Dies gilt zuvorderst für "Rigatoni carretiera". So lieb- und interesselos wie sich die Lokaleinrichtung, namentlich der Wandschmuck präsentiert, so lieb-, lust-, interesse- und motivations- und einfallslos wird hier gekocht. Nudeln von Barilla in Verbindung mit irgendeiner beliebigen Tomatensossen-Kombination derselben Firma schmecken zu Hause zehn mal besser als das hier Dargebotene. Hat der"Koch" denn hier wirklich gar keine Berufsehre? Die Herren im Service agieren vorwiegend hektisch. Es herrscht eine Atmosphäre von Massenabfertigung, die keinerlei Gemütlichkeit aufkommen lässt. Das Interesse an längerem Verweilen geht gegen Null. FAZIT: Erschütternd - erschreckend! Gastronomie Quo Vadis?

La comida era promedio no mal, pero no típico italiano. Los platos de pasta se sofocaban en salsa. Mi parmigiana de ternera fue servida cubierta con salsa de carne, lo que me pareció inusual. La comida no sabía mal, solo demasiada salsa para todos y no sabía a italiano real. El ambiente en realidad era bastante agradable al igual que el servicio.

A very good Italian restaurant, everything is just right here, from the price to the service. With a full house, we even managed to get a seat even without a reservation; the waiter was very committed. The menu has a great selection, the food was very tasty and the portions were huge, plus fair prices and child-friendly service. We will be back and would be happy to recommend the restaurant.

Superb restaurant in the splendid Mittelwald, True Italian run by Calabrian guys. Real dishes with a pleasant taste served with care by a kind waiter who welcomed us almost at closing time. For those who travel and are tired of international food, every now and then a good Italian dish becomes indispensable.

Food was really delicious, absolutely nothing to complain about. However, the waiter was very unfriendly and obviously didn't want to serve us. He was very annoyed when asked for an ashtray. It's a shame because the food was really enjoyable.

I have enjoyed eating at Mamma Lucia every now and then for over 2 years. However, I don't think it's very progressive that card payments have "currently" not been possible for over 2 years. I was disappointed when my father and I ordered a pizza "to share" for the main course, we didn't even specifically ask for it to come on separate plates and we were charged €2 in the bill under "Miscellaneous Drinks". When asked where the €2 came from, he said “because the pizza came on separate plates”. Even though 2€ isn't a lot, unfortunately it's not possible for us to cheer for something like that - especially since we didn't even ask for it on separate plates. It's a shame but we won't come back.

In order. But nothing more. Pizza is mediocre, as is the staff. You sit nice and quiet in the guest garden and get a seat even without a reservation. Attention, only cash payment possible!

We stayed at Mamma Lucia on two evenings. We were absolutely satisfied. On the first evening the pizzas were great. We felt like we were in Italy. Today it was much more crowded. The waiters had a lot to do. But they still did a great job and were super friendly. We have to say that the lasagna wasn't as good as the pizza the day before, but it's hard to compare ;-) If we vacation here again, this would be our favorite Italian restaurant. Our landlady gave us the tip and we were not disappointed.

No, do not go. We have eaten here before, they must have changed owners. It was great before.... Now 5 sullen waiters stare at you. We ordered 2 beers. Then the flies arrived all over the table the walls and us. No food had even arrived to attract them. When we spoke to the waiter about the flies he shrugged then finally closed the door. Can't imagine what the kitchen looked like. We paid for the beer and left.

Ich kann die schlechten Bewertungen nicht verstehen. Wir waren heute das zweite Mal dort essen. Die Pizzen wie immer super lecker,die Zutaten frisch und der Service auch top. Das Restaurant war gut besucht und wir mussten auch nicht lange aufs Essen warten. Für mich ist dieses Restaurant mit einer der besten Italiener in Mittenwald.

Looking at the great reviews, I stopped by. But the food was not the best Italian I ever had, it was delicately made. Gnocchi was extremely creamy and cream is all you can taste. Pasta was tasty, but extremely salty. With few tweaks, everything could have been better, maybe i went on a bad day of service.

Went there on vacation, one day in the restaurant and the next it had to be a pizza to take away! Very, very tasty and definitely a must on your next vacation in Mittenwald!!! Great value for money!!

I came to eat a pizza at 9.40 pm but unfortunately it was impossible, the waiter says it can't be too late but it was still at least a good 50 minutes to make a pizza. I will never come here again. Very dissatisfied.

Niederträchtiges Lokal, mit noch armseligeren Bedienungen. Als ich mein mit 20% versteuertes Stück angebratenem Putzlappen bestellte (Medium), Medium-Rare habe ich es bekommen. absolute Enttäuschung. Hätte ich meine vierzehn Jahre alte Katze Jochen in die Pfanne geschmissen, wäre sie wahrscheinlich zarter und wärmer beim Gast angekommen als es bei meiner wenigkeit der Fall war. Als ich mein gut an zu sehendes Stück Schuhsole zurück gehen lies, kam es nach 3 Minuten kälter und zäher denn je auf den Tisch zurück. Als ich aus Anstand dieses ledrige Stück Wüste vertilgte machte sich sofort ein stechender Schmerz in meiner Magengegend breit, und ich schätze ich dürfe morgen einen deutlich Qualifizierteren Arzt besuchen, wie jemals wieder einen so unqualifizierten Koch. Die Karotten und die Kartoffeln waren jedoch gut, aber das waren sie sicherlich schon gepflückt auf dem Feld. Kellner war sehr unfreundlich, jedoch war seine Brille sehr schön an zu schauen. Aber der Schein trügt, besucht dieses Lokal nicht außer ihr wollt schnellst möglich einen Arzt, Psychologen oder schlimmsten Fall ein Hospiz aufsuchen. Mfg

I can't understand the good reviews. I had a kilo of mozzarella on my pizza which looked disgusting, slimy and more like rubber. Not edible. I think I was fooled by the price and the google reviews.
