I found this restaurant by accident. The atmosphere is great. The seafood pasta is quite delicious. In addition, the price of this shrimp dish is too expensive at 34 euros. I can’t believe it’s worth it.

All very good. Great Italian feeling. Unfortunately, the beer was a bit stale, the tomato soup could have used a little more gin, the food was otherwise great, the limoncello at the end was great, really Italian. Will definitely come back.

Very cozy Italian restaurant in Mittenwald. Had carpaccio, vitello tonnato, hake with risotto and sheep cheese ravioli with figs. Everything really very good and creative menu/daily menu. Service top! Excellent wine selection! Absolute recommendation! We'll be back.

Every time simply outstanding. We really enjoy coming to eat. Absolutely also recommended for gluten-free dishes. Gluten-free pizzas are no problem at all & if you wish, you can also get pasta gluten-free with perfect quality. Simply great! 🔝 The service staff and the pizza chef have also been the same for several years, which absolutely speaks for the restaurant. You can tell the team is well-coordinated, even in stressful situations. Franco & his team are always trying hard! Big praise.

Absolutely gigantic food, we drove an extra two and a half hours on the recommendation. The ambience is very nice with wooden furniture and beautiful lamps, I think it has a Venetian flair. The service was very friendly, pleasant and accommodating. So, we are very, very satisfied and will definitely come back!

We had a salmon trout and a pizza. Both were very tasty, the pizza dough was nice and crispy and matured for a long time. The salmon trout was very plentiful and deliciously prepared. The interior is really nice with lots of nice details. The team was very friendly and attentive - especially to the children. We'd love to come back! The pizzas were good, but Diabolo wasn't spicy. Price-performance for the main courses was okay, but the starter plate was too expensive at €21. Changing daily menu. We sat in the next room and were unfortunately often forgotten here. Waiting time for the main courses was more than 1.5 hours, 3 of 5 main courses were delivered about 10 minutes before the remaining 2. At least we got a limoncello on the house at the end.

A beautiful restaurant for everyone. Beautiful surroundings and beautifully designed with the pictures and the glass panels. The food was simply wonderful and delicious. I particularly recommend the chocolate soufflé, it was absolutely stunning and generally everything was super delicious. The staff was also super nice and didn't bother our dog at all. Recommendation for everyone.

Frankly, the restaurant is amazing. We took penne arrabbiata pasta and a margherita pizza from them. The pasta costs 13 euros and it is the most delicious, and the pizza also tastes good. But to be honest, I went back to them a second time, craving pasta.. And they have spicy and garlic sauce.. Awesome..

Bonjour, nous passons nos vacances à Mittenwald depuis 20 ans, 10 jours en septembre plus 15 jours Noel nouvel ans. Nous mangeons une à deux fois par séjours dans ce restaurant surtout la pizza. Mercredi 25 septembre nous nous sommes rendu dans ce restaurant pour manger une pizza, Apres avoir pris place prés du four à pizza , je constate que le pizzaiolo ce cure le nez en profondeur, fini les pizzas nous avons commande des pâtes. Héla je se pense pas revenir dans ce restaurant. que nous apprécions auparavant. Cordialement

We begonnen niet goed want werden weg gemoffeld in een hoekje terwijl we netjes hadden gereserveerd (2 dagen van te voren). Uiteindelijk kwam de eigenaar en kregen we een gezellig plekje in het restaurant. We hadden een rumpsteek met rucula en parmezaanse kaas en deze was heerlijk! Daarna afgesloten met een heerlijk dessert! De bediening was vriendelijk en deden hun best. Uiteindelijk kan ik zeggen aanrader!

We ate there twice during our holiday. The first time everything was delicious and perfect. The second time was disappointing. The pizza was smaller and less well topped. And my pasta was also a smaller portion. We also had to wait a very long time before we received drinks and the menu. Too bad because as good as it was the first time, the second time was disappointing. Maybe it was because it was busy, but we didn't go there anymore

Met the boss and team again after many years. A warm welcome... courteous... where the jackets are taken away and taken to the cloakroom. The ambience is just great. And then the food...fresh and, above all, prepared with love...and simply delicious. Very high level... But enough now...otherwise we won't get any more seats next time...because even more guests will come. Stay that way...really great. THANKS.

We have been coming here again and again for 30 years and always enjoy the delicious food and the cozy atmosphere.

Food was okay for the price. Had 2 pizzas which were average. The service seemed listless and unfriendly. When we wanted to pay, we were first asked what we had (only had 2 pizzas and 2 drinks in total - so not a long order). We didn't get an invoice, everything was just scribbled together on a piece of paper. We only received the receipt when we asked. No recommendation!

There are a lot of good reviews here and indeed the restaurant was almost full. But unfortunately, I cannot share everyone’s enthusiasm. I would like to, but alas. The wait for the ordered dishes was too long (about 30 minutes), the portions were too small and did not correspond to the stated menu (instead of tagliatelli tartufo they brought spaghetti, without sauce, with tartufo scolded on top 😏). Portions are smaller than expected. Instead of apologizing for the half hour wait, the waiter said that we were not alone here. This is understandable, but it’s bad that with such a crowd you are alone here, that’s the problem. I think that next time we won’t come here again. In principle, any restaurant can be assessed according to three criteria: food, service, interior. So it turns out that according to the first two criteria, the restaurant receives two stars. Google didn’t ask about the interior, although it’s not bad at all.

Waiter Guiseppe knows his stuff, is very friendly and quick. Pizzas taste great. Pasta dishes are very small in portion size. But the taste is very good. Drinks are very well chilled. We'd love to come back. But then order pizza. Best regards.

No estoy seguro de dónde vienen las críticas negativas, tal vez solo un mal día para el restaurante o el restaurante. Entré alrededor de las 6: 00 pm lugar (dentro y fuera) estaba tal vez el 80 % lleno. Pedí una pizza - tan bueno como cualquiera que he tenido en Italia. Señaló que los otros comensales estaban todos hablando bien de su buena pizza o pasta. Para cuando salí del lugar (por dentro y por fuera) estaba totalmente lleno y había gente esperando.

Excellent pizza. Also gluten-free, which is prepared separately in aluminum bowls, so that allergy sufferers will also be happy here. Vegan/lactose-free cheese is not offered, but you can bring it with you. This also seems to be done carefully, and it worked well for us (with a milk/wheat allergy, no intolerance). Very nice location, very friendly service, excellent pizza, suitable for allergy sufferers. Everything is just excellent.

We actually prefer regional cuisine on vacation, but Viola is an exception. Have rarely eaten better Italian. The homemade pasta, the green pepper sauce, even the glazed carrot pieces were unique. The wild boar was also cooked excellently. Not exactly cheap, but still worth every cent.

The pizza here is really incredibly delicious! A thin, crispy base, very well and deliciously topped. Simply perfect and exactly how it should be. Everyone is very attentive and friendly. Simply perfect!

We made a reservation and then waited 40 minutes for our table. This is very annoying at the start. We sat on the terrace during that time, got a menu - but no one came to take an order. Then it started raining harder and the awning wasn't extended. That is also annoying. When I ordered the wine, a carafe came instead of a bottle (annoying, but the carafe was on the house - good!) and my starter (tomato cream soup) was completely forgotten. The margarita pizza was quite dry, not bad, but not really good either. The risotto was not a risotto. It must be mushy, but it was more like good sticky rice with a bit of moisture. Carbonara was solid. The restaurant is absolutely average. The white wine (Friulano) was nice for a warm summer evening, can be recommended. We were either very unlucky or due to the hype of the holiday, people often rate it better than they should. I wouldn't recommend it, the Alpenrose around the corner delivers much better quality. The restaurant's reaction to critical reviews is always the same: you're supposed to be relaxed on vacation and you'd be arrogant anyway. But that's how the store is. Very arrogant, because the place in Mittenwald is full anyway. We found other Italian restaurants in the place. They are less prominent, but there is warmth and quality.

The pizza and also the risotto were excellent. The staff was overworked, but always friendly and helpful. You are in good hands here. I can only recommend it.

Nice service, remember what you like to drink even though it's only the second time you've been there. The food is great!!!! If you are in Mittenwald, definitely go to La Viola. As a tip, reserve a table.

Pizza to pick up: I ordered pizza by phone. After the specified time of half an hour I wanted to pick it up and realized that he had forgotten what is human and waited another 20 minutes. I was looking forward to the pizza but pizza on the website and in reality looked completely different, very little on it, no mussels, wasn't baked properly. Simply bad for this price.
