A very good restaurant with both vegetarian and meat dishes. Something for everyone.

Delicious food, friendly service. There's also the option to enjoy your meal in a small outdoor area. In winter, there's a conservatory with a wood-burning stove, creating a cozy atmosphere. The restaurant also offers ample space for celebrations, such as weddings. The venue is accessible by public transportation and, of course, by car. Parking is available.

The food is consistently high quality, and the drinks are excellent. The atmosphere is truly pleasant. The staff is friendly and attentive. Prices are fair. One of my favorite restaurants.

For years, national and international cuisine has been changing over and over again, which is written on a large board. Take a photo of it and then choose it comfortably at the table. 👍💪🥳 Large portions. Reservation necessary. 😉🚀

Friendly staff, clean and tidy The tables are very close together so you have to squeeze through to the bench. The soup was okay but I've had better.

This local gem was found almost by accident. Our luggage didn't make the flight into Nuremberg but was on the next flight out, so we had four and a half hours to wait. Saw the reviews and pictures of the food and we set the destination. The location is set back off the main road, but they have signs that point you in the right direction. I ordered the goulash but questioned it for sometime as I observed schnitzel after schnitzel come out of the kitchen. Once the goulash arrived I was absolutely pleased with my selection. Very good! The staff was polite, the seating area and tables can be tight, as almost all of the tables were filled. But that helped add to the charm. The menu is handwritten on a chalkboard which is unique as the menu seems to vary from time to time. Definitely recommend stopping by!

Franconian wine: a must! Franconian beer: even better ;) Schnitzel: of course it's another must. Tip: book a taxi home; we could hardly walk after having our generously portioned dinner. Thank you, guys, keep it up!

A good kitchen with Franconian dishes but also international dishes. Everything is freshly prepared and the ingredients are fresh.

A recommendation for the neighborhood

New is the winter hut with a fireplace with great food and ambience. Definitely worth a visit. 👍Of course also a very cozy beer garden 🍺👍

Very good food and friendly service. The price level is high, the appearance outside and inside is capable of development. But the food is always freshly prepared and the menu changes daily.

Went there as a group on Saturday evening with 30 people. In the beer garden there was another larger group and individual tables. 3 servers had a lot to do, but the waitress Martina was on top of her game. She made a face and was more than unfriendly. A colleague had ordered a dark cellar beer. She put a light beer in front of him, he pointed out his order and she complained "IT'S OVER" and took off. Because of my sitting position, I didn't immediately notice when she brought my coke. Then she turned around in a huff and marched back inside. Her colleague at the cash register then collected one of us one by one, the waitress in question came and almost pushed her away because she has to type in an order NOW. I have addressed the misconduct, but I realize that there is hardly any staff in service, but she is the reason why I don't go there anymore. Price performance of the schnitzel with potato salad... well. OK

We have been here again for a long time. The weather was fine and we had a seat in the beer garden. Service was great. We were a little disappointed with the food but maybe that's just our assessment.

The food was well prepared, tasty and appetizing. The prices are reasonable with good quality. The selection is varied and there is something for every taste. Very nice team, attentive! The ambience is Franconian and cozy with typical guests from the region. I felt comfortable there.

The liver and the mashed potatoes were tasty, and the apple sauce that came with it? was very, very over-seasoned. Unfortunately, pork schnitzel didn't taste good either. The service was very nice and friendly. But I wouldn't come back again

Lots of fresh vegetables, good wine, also hearty meat and fish dishes, still acceptable prices, very friendly service, outdoor area and restaurant attractively designed.

Services were super nice and asked several times if everything was OK. 5/5 stars in this area. The minus points would be: 1. The waiter came across as very bored and yawned several times. 3/5 2. Loud screaming came from the kitchen Quote: no matter what I do it tastes like it ass. crack. Very appetizing 1/5 The menu is handwritten and hangs on the wall. This wouldn't be a problem if it were written a little more neatly. (please improve) To eat 1. Lamb's lettuce great, no mangoes 2. Dumpling with Schäuferle is great especially Add the cranberry sauce. 3. I now found duck legs with dumplings Ok, but I have better ones eaten. Skin not crispy and the meat is too tough (it could have been longer can leave in the oven) Ambience: better sports restaurant, not really my thing if I'm not eating with the club. Of course, this is my opinion and does not have to be shared. All in all quite ok and I would say 3.5 stars.

We have been regular customers from the very beginning, first in the "Paradies", then in the "Max". Always delicious, freshly prepared and home-cooked (no sauce - unfortunately not always a given). The bosses are super nice and the waitresses are great too. What more do you want?

We ate with four people and all the dishes were really very tasty 👍 and can therefore only be recommended. - Tagliatelle, 2x onion meat and pan-fried schnitzel. Unfortunately, the map is a bit confusing because it is not written neatly, and since there are no fixed place cards, it makes things a bit complicated. A more elegant solution to this would be nicer. The restaurant has the flair of a better sports restaurant. (Personal opinion) OK if you like it. Unfortunately, our waitress only seemed “forced” friendly and had little interest in us as guests, which I find very unfortunate. All in all very good food and ok priced. But somehow just good food isn't everything. But as always, a matter of perspective. Would have given 3.5 stars if possible.

Gutes Essen, schnelle Bedienung!!! Besonderes Highlight war die Kegelbahn im Keller mit Essensräumlichkeit, die man buchen konnte. Mittels Speisenaufzug konnte Getränke- u Speisenwünsche geordert werden u wurden zügig wieder nach unten geschickt. Für kleinere Feiern bis ca. 16-18 Personen ideal. Gerne wieder

Super frisches und leckeres Essen.

Ohhh...lecker! Die Tegeskarte kann man hoch und runter essen. Der Kamin ist mega gemütlich Schade, dass das Dach nicht richtig dicht ist.Da tropft es manchmal von oben. Aber das wird sicher bald repariert. Schön wars!

Ich war schon oft im Max. Heute gab es Rinderfilet Geschnetzeltes mit Spinatspätzle. Es war super lecker. Das Beste, was ich dort je gegessen habe, und dabei war das Essen dort immer gut.

Excelente lugar. Me encantó todo: el servicio es excelente y la comida súper deliciosa. Los precios no son los más baratos, pero créeme que vale el gasto la visita, la comida es súper rica, lo vale definitivamente. Por supuesto que yo sí regreso.

Sehr leckeres frisches Essen, Preise etwas höher, wegen der Qualität aber gerechtfertigt. Bisher immer freundliches Personal! UPDATE: 26.11.17 Wieder im Max gewesen Radler u Schäufele Abends innerhalb v. 5min bekommen. SCHÄUFELE ohne labriges Fett mit 3 bis 4 cm Kruste Nachbartisch hatte schon geguggt und gegrinst wegen dem krachenden Geräusch. Die Sosse war aller erste Sahne selber gemacht vermutlich mit Schwarzbier. Preis, Leistung, Freundlichkeit wieder alles top. DANKE! Nachtrag: Gestern wieder einmal da gewesen, mit 12 Personen zum Essen. Alle waren sehr zufrieden, es hat jedem! geschmeckt. Nahezu alle hatten das Essen gleichzeitig. Der Service war zuvor kommend. Sofort wieder. 5 Sterne vergebe ich wirklich selten. Update 20.08.23: Ein butterzarter Lammrücken der seines gleichen sucht. SOßE BOMBE! Wir sind nicht ohne Grund 2 bis 3 Mal im Monat hier!!

Das Essen war leider gar nicht gut 😕 Die Mediterranen Nudeln waren komplett süß was ich bei einer Hauptspeise als unerträglich wiederlich empfinde. Bitte dazu schreiben wenn Fenchel im Essen ist.

Die Speisekarte auf der Tafel kann man schlecht lesen

Das Essen war sehr gut und frisch zubereitet. Die Preise waren angemessen. Die Portionen sind sehr gut. Service war freundlich aber etwas verpeilt, hat Bestellung vergessen oder falsch gebracht. Aber man muß ihm zugute nehmen, das an dem Tag sehr viel los war. Alles im allem Top.👍

wow... die Auswahl an Essen sehr überzeugend und groß, es gab unter anderem Wildschwein vom Jäger in Verschiedensten Variationen...super Service... das Essen war sehr frisch... große Portionen ..kann nur sagen ..selber probieren und wir kommen wieder

Ein von außen sehr unscheinbares Restaurant. Tatsächlich muss man es kennen, um den Wert zu erkennen. Top Service, sehr nettes Ambiente, eine ausgesprochen gute Karte und sehr gute Qualität des Essens. Anzumerken ist, dass es die Küche schafft, auch bei größeren Gruppen, dass Essen für alle auf den Punkt fertig zu stellen.

Wohnen jetzt schon fast 6 Jahre in der Nachbarschaft, aber gestern zum ersten Mal das Max besucht. Unser Eindruck: warum hat es 6 Jahre gebraucht bis wir hier hin sind? Essen war wirklich gut (hatten alle Schnitzel oder Cordon Bleu. Bedienung war super freundlich und aufmerksam. Der kleine Biergarten/Terrasse ist gemütlich und ruhig im Hinterhof gelegen. Hatten einen schönen Abend mit Freunden. Wir kommen jetzt sicher regelmäßiger!
