I was here once for dinner and had a great time with good food and nice service. That one would've been a 4 star visit.
However I also went for lunch today and had a much worse experience. I ordered a more expensive dish but jo drink. Food was too salty, waiter was very hectic and did not bring the bread and olive oil (maybe cause I didn't get a drink?) and at the end I did not feel I need to give any tip so i just waited for my change. He didn't have 2.20 so he gave me 2.50 and said that 30 cents are Trinkgeld from him. This was a 2 star visit, as for the nice terrace.
Food was nice although I wish we got what we ordered. When it came out we stated we ordered the schnitzel but a veal scallapini came out instead. We still enjoyed it but would’ve enjoyed a schnitzel more.
Older waitress speaks little English so hard at times to talk
We spontaneously visited during Pentecost. We received a very warm welcome. We really enjoyed the ambiance, the great, cheerful service, and the delicious food. We felt very comfortable.
Noise Pollution from Outdoor Drinking Areas – A Call for Consideration in Residential Neighborhoods
Dear owners and operators of the surrounding bars and restaurants, dear guests, we are addressing you with an urgent concern: The increasing noise pollution caused by the intensive use of outdoor drinking areas in our neighborhood is massively impacting the quality of life of local residents.
What was once welcomed as a vibrant restaurant scene has become a daily burden in recent months. Especially during the week, starting in the early evening hours, it is regularly so loud that peace and quiet are almost impossible. Conversations, laughter, and the noise levels of entire groups mean that after a strenuous day at work, you can neither open a window nor read a book in peace – let alone concentrate on work or relax.
Even after 10 p.m. – although many establishments officially close then – it often remains noisy for a long time. Customers linger outside the establishments, chat loudly on the street, call for taxis, or, sometimes under the influence of alcohol, roam the residential area noisily. It becomes particularly critical on weeknights, when most people are sleeping or preparing for the upcoming workday.
A special appeal therefore goes out to you, dear guests: Please remember that the restaurants are located in the middle of a residential area – with several businesses right on the same corner. Sound carries far, especially on the narrow streets. We understand that you want to enjoy a pleasant evening – but we sincerely ask you: Be considerate of the people who live directly next to and above the restaurants. A little quieter conversations, leaving earlier, and avoiding loud behavior on the way home make a big difference.
Our request to you as a restaurant business:
Actively raise your guests' awareness of the housing situation in the area – through friendly information on menus, notices, or your employees.
Please strictly adhere to the legally prescribed closing times.
Support the prompt clearing of outdoor areas after closing time.
If necessary, consider technical measures to reduce noise (e.g., soundproof walls, greenery, etc.).
Note on my own behalf: Due to the ongoing noise pollution, I have already contacted the responsible city council and made the problem clear. If the situation does not noticeably improve in the near future – especially with regard to weekday evenings – I will be forced to file a formal, written complaint together with other affected neighbors. A persistent disregard for the interests of residents cannot and will no longer be tolerated.
We urgently ask for your understanding and cooperation. Only through mutual consideration can the harmonious coexistence of restaurants and residential areas succeed.
Sincerely,
Your neighbors
Five stars aren't really enough for what Slurp Noodle Bar in Munich offers. From the very first second, everything is just right: the modern yet cozy ambiance, the attentive staff, and of course, the food – an absolute dream for anyone who loves authentic and creatively interpreted Asian cuisine.
The noodles are fresh, cooked to perfection, and served with care and great attention to detail. Each bowl is a small work of art – both in taste and appearance. The flavors are balanced, deep, and yet pleasantly light. The vegetarian options also impress with their variety and refinement.
A special highlight that we wouldn't have expected in a noodle bar: At the end of our meal, there was – quite unexpectedly – a small greeting from the kitchen in the form of a fine scoop of ice cream. An unusual but charming gesture, one more commonly found in upscale restaurants or wine bars – and one that perfectly captures the tone of this noodle bar: casual yet sophisticated.
Conclusion: Slurp Noodle Bar is more than just a place for good food – it's an experience. If you're in Munich, you shouldn't miss this culinary hotspot. Highly recommended!
I recently ate at Spicy Bazaar – and what can I say? It was an all-around fantastic experience! The ambiance is modern, cozy, and full of thoughtful details that immediately make you feel at home. But what really made the evening special was the excellent service.
A huge thank you goes to Franko, who looked after me during my visit. He was not only extremely friendly and attentive, but also truly passionate about his work. Franko made sure I wanted for nothing, was always there at the right time, and his warm manner perfectly rounded off the evening. You can immediately tell that the well-being of his guests is truly important to him.
The meal was – as the name suggests – a delicious journey through the world of spices: sophisticated, aromatic, and beautifully presented.
I will definitely be back and highly recommend Spicy Bazaar to anyone who wants to experience great food and top-notch service. Thank you, Franko – you're fantastic!
Unfortunately, we can't recommend this restaurant at all. The service left a lot to be desired – the waitress was extremely unfriendly, and we had to wait a very long time to be served. We also had to wait another very long time for the food.
When it finally arrived, it was absolutely not worth the wait: My noodles were completely overcooked and mushy, while my friend's noodles were still partially hard – exactly the opposite of what you would expect.
Overall, a very disappointing experience. Neither the service nor the quality of the food was up to scratch. We definitely won't be back.
After our hike, we wanted a coffee and stopped at the Panorama Restaurant. Amazing view, very friendly and attentive service! The steamed dumpling is absolutely amazing! The best steamed dumpling for miles around 👍👍👍
It's definitely worth treating yourself to another iced coffee there 😊😊😊
The review for the beer garden. We were in the beer garden in beautiful weather and, based on the positive reviews, were hoping for a good meal. I ordered schnitzel, and my wife ordered "the catch of the day," which was a pike. The schnitzel consisted of two pieces of meat, very thin and completely dry, and thickly breaded. You can do it that way, but it has nothing to do with a good schnitzel! The pike was also thickly breaded; the waitress could have told us that. When we asked, she didn't even know what kind of fish it was. I have no idea why the schnitzel, of all things, is getting so much praise. Overall, we were disappointed and certainly won't be coming back.
