A nuanced view. As much as we're sorry, the food is rather expensive for the quality and the service. Example: summer ribs: around €20 including garlic bread, extra fried potatoes; a small cover charge of €5.10. The BBQ sauce is definitely pre-made (no rub), a little bit brushed on top. That's really weak. I suspect: spare ribs with little meat (charitable), certainly not smoked (about 3 hours), nor wrapped (steamed, about 2 hours) or glazed (about 1 hour), not to mention sous vide and finishing. Please order something from the steamer like dumplings or Kasspatzen, so you won't notice it as much. Service is fast, Bavarian-friendly, and there's a beer garden atmosphere on two adjacent streets, as was common 100 years ago, perfect in the past, but tends to be loud in Trudering today. Local guide: 4 out of 10.
A very, very special place!!! :-)
A lovely, cozy atmosphere to fall in love with ;-), great, unusual food (e.g., heart-shaped pizza), delicious drinks, very friendly service. We love coming back here again and again (well, also because we fell in love with each other here one evening about 2 years ago). Thank you, hungry heart!
I was there twice recently. The burgers are delicious (vegetarian too). The service is consistently super friendly!
Neotaste worked great one evening.
The second evening, they gave us amazing brownies on the house. Thanks again! 🤩
We were there with our Italian group, got a great seat, and were served perfectly with excellent food. We felt very comfortable and have already made another reservation.
After the delicious meal, I go to the bathroom to relieve myself and find one of the cooks sitting next to me at the urinal, who also needs to do his business... with his grill gloves on! It probably happens in every kitchen, but here I witnessed it. Disgusting.
Ca'D'oro is a very good restaurant. The light inside is warm and it has also a beautiful italian atmosphere. We ate two simple Margherita, but they were very tasty. The waiter was nice and kind, and we couldn't ask anything better.
Grandi raga tutto buonissimo!
Ate here yesterday: simply outstanding! The chicken tikka is highly recommended, and my little sister loved the red sauce that goes with it. I also noticed how incredibly hard-working the staff is; truly impressive. And they remain friendly throughout. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, something new for an Indian restaurant. My only tip: turn the music down a bit so you can have a better conversation. We're happy!!!
Further proof that pierogi are a staple of Polish cuisine. Several vegetarian specialties are available on the menu. Fast and attentive service. A beautiful setting, housed in a tower on the city walls.
The food wasn't bad,
but my little one didn't get a happy birthday greeting like we're used to at Losteria's, even though I had spoken to the waitress several times. It's a shame, and it was obviously disappointing for the birthday girl.
