Everything was great, great ambience, friendly and courteous service, food was absolutely delicious.

Totally brilliant restaurant, we're still crying over the best cheese pätzle in the world! Absolute recommendation ☺️

Subterranean, food as it was on the menu was not served. On the menu there were homemade dumplings and there were spaetzle on the plate. Crusty roast tasted like it had been warmed up. Cheese spaetzle was swimming in the fat. Price performance absolutely overpriced!!! There is no salad with the meal You also have to pay extra for it. I've eaten better in some canteens.

We met and ate there with our granddaughter and daughter-in-law.

Very nice saleswoman and super tasty traditional processed products such as cheese sausage... We enjoyed a traditional snack and did some shopping on the way home.

Quiet and for us a rustic ambience (furniture partly like it was 80 years ago) with a slight alpine flair. The food (burgers and schnitzel) was plentiful and really good. The service was very attentive and very friendly. We'd love to come back

We were there today and ate the Käsespätzle there because there was nothing else due to the late arrival at 8:15 p.m. It's ok because the kitchen closes at 8:30 p.m. The cheese pätzle were okay, but I've eaten better ones and, in my opinion, too expensive for the price of €15.40 (without a side salad). . Therefore only three stars because of price/performance

Very nice inn with delicious food and a great beer garden from which you have a great view of the Iseler and the Iselergrad. Really wonderful, especially at sunset. The service was super nice, the food was freshly prepared and very good. Coffee and ice cream were also very tasty. The prices are the same as almost everywhere else - around 15 euros for Kässpätzle, around 20 euros for the Cordon Bleu - but since everything was fresh and tasty, it's at least worth the price here.

We wanted to spend our last evening in Oberjoch :) Wirtshaus was recommended to us - but I wouldn't recommend it. Reservation by email - no problem. Friendly reception - no problem Lots of flies - yes - but you're on a farm, country kids know that ;) Ordering drinks - no problem Food - after 65! We asked directly for a few minutes. In the meantime we were asked three times if everything was still OK, each time - "we're still waiting for food" After the direct inquiry, we quickly ran into the kitchen and quickly put the crusty roast with red cabbage and the onion roast on the plate and heated it up in a microwave or something. Why, the red cabbage tasted like it was from yesterday, really bad! The hunger, we had already been there for 90 minutes, got the better of us. Service offered us a cafe on the house as compensation. Open feedback was brushed off because there were still many guests inside. In the outdoor area, 2 tables in front of us had received the main course (aha ;)) What a shame! Mistakes happen, talk about it openly with the guest (even if it takes a while) and then deliver it perfectly, café and dessert on the house - a great evening. But not like that! Was disappointed! Can understand and underline one or two negative comments.

It couldn't be worse! If you ever want to eat really bad food and at disproportionately high prices, then you are in good hands with the new tenant and his cook at the Kematsried Wirt. It started with the reservation. We made a reservation online at 2 p.m. for the same evening. At 5:30 p.m. I still had no feedback and called. I was told that the email probably didn't go through (amazing!) and they took my reservation for the outdoor area. I thought. When we arrived there were no tables left outside. We weren't in the reservation book. But there were “Reserved” signs on ALL the tables. The innkeeper probably wants to create a high occupancy rate due to the popularity of the inn. Very amateurish! The food would not have been bearable even for half the price. I had tender but completely tasteless venison goulash with a soggy sauce. Here, a convenience sauce from a bag might have been an even better option. This was served with lukewarm red cabbage and slightly “crispy” spaetzle that had apparently been regenerated several times. My wife ate the really, really good Kässpatzen from the previous landlord. Unfortunately she got the same spaetzle as me. However, with almost no cheese (long live the low cost of goods). This was of such poor quality that one could assume that it was analogue cheese. That would also fit because the innkeeper has recently started offering pizza, which is known to often use this cheap cheese. Card payment is also not possible. In this way, if you think mischievously, you could also optimize your use of goods. We have been coming to Bad Hindelang every year for decades and have always enjoyed eating at Kematsried. The inn has been a reasonably reasonable alternative, especially over the past 10 years, when the only real restaurant on site, the Obere Mühle, has closed days. In the future we will probably have to cook for ourselves or get pizza on these days. We'll just wait until a new tenant comes to Kematsried. The current one won't last long with this performance anyway

Wenn man einmal so richtig grausam schlecht und zu überproportional hohen Preisen essen möchte, dann ist man bei dem neuen Pächter und seinem Koch im Wirtshaus Kematsried bestens aufgehoben. Es begann schon bei der Reservierung. Wir haben Online um 14.00h für den gleichen Abend reserviert. Um 17.30h hatte ich immer noch kein Feedback und rief an. Man sagte mir, dass die Email wohl nicht durchgekommen sei (Totlach!) und nahm meine Reservierung für den Aussenbereich auf. Dachte ich. Als wir ankamen war Draußen kein Tisch mehr frei. Im Reservierungsbuch standen wir nicht drin. Aber dafür standen auf ALLEN Tischen „Reserviert“ Schilder. Wahrscheinlich will der Wirt damit eine hohe Auslastung aufgrund der Beliebtheit des Gasthauses vorgaukeln. Sehr amateurhaft! Das Essen wäre auch für die Hälfte des Preises nicht zu ertragen gewesen. Ich hatte ein zwar zartes aber völlig geschmackloses Hirschgoulasch mit einer pampigen Sauce. Hier wäre eine Convenience Sauce aus der Tüte eventuell sogar noch die bessere Option gewesen. Dazu reichte man lauwarmen Rotkohl und anscheinend mehrfach regenerierte schon leicht „knusprige“ Spätzle. Meine Frau aß die beim vorherigen Wirt richtig, richtig guten Kässpatzen. Leider bekam sie die gleichen Spätzle wie ich. Allerdings mit so gut wie keinem Käse (es lebe der niedrige Wareneinsatz). Dieser war noch von derart schlechter Qualität dass man Analogkäse vermuten könnte. Das würde auch passen weil der Wirt neuerdings auch Pizza anbietet, bei der bekanntermaßen häufig dieser billige Käse verwendet wird. Kartenzahlung ist zudem auch nicht möglich. So könnte man,schelmisch gedacht, auch seinen Wareneinsatz optimieren. Wir kommen seit Jahrzehnten jedes Jahr nach Bad Hindelang und haben immer gerne im Kematsried gegessen. Das Wirtshaus war vor Allem in den zurückliegenden 10 Jahren eine halbwegs vernünftige Alternative wenn das einzig wahre Restaurant vor Ort, die Obere Mühle, Ruhetage hat. In Zukunft müssen wir an diesen Tagen wohl selbst kochen oder Pizza holen. Wir warten halt jetzt, bis wieder ein neuer Pächter ins Kematsried kommt. Lange wird sich der bisherige bei dieser Performance ohnehin nicht halten

When we were there there was an extreme plague of flies. There were no pizzas for whatever reason. No card payment possible, which I absolutely cannot understand.

It was a perfect evening all around. Starting with the service, she was just super friendly, as was the man who served us. The food was just really delicious. We like to go there on our vacation because it just gives us the feeling of vacation. You can tell that a lot of value is still placed on hospitality here.

!! Attention, no card payment possible!! Went there for food based on good recommendations. Venison ragout: Was warmed up, spaetzle also warmed up. It was fine. But wouldn't order it again. Ambiance: The furnishings are rather awkward for tall people. Tables are very low and the seating is very cramped. Biggest drawback: NO card payment! Not advertised anywhere. After eating we had to walk 10 minutes to the ATM and 10 minutes back again... Unnecessary.

Nice atmosphere, lots of wood. TOP. Food is OK, nothing special, portions aren't big, prices are unreasonably high. Even in Munich I get a better price-performance ratio.

I have never eaten such bad cheese spaetzle! The spaetzle was overcooked so it was a mess, I found bits of carrots from instant broth in it (that doesn't belong in there) and the cheese tasted like cheap powdered parmesan :( to charge 16 euros for it is a disgrace. I wonder if the chef/ The cook has already tried the food himself... My child also left out the spaetzle with sauce, which was really inedible!!! Maybe the other dishes are better, I can't judge that. The service was very nice. But we definitely wouldn't go there again and wouldn't recommend it if someone wanted to eat spaetzle.

Table reserved a week in advance, among other things. for a toddler. When we came in, all the chairs for the child were already occupied. I was then allowed to get a chair from my holiday apartment so that my son could sit properly at the table. Sorry, but if I make a reservation with a small child, a chair must also be available. Ordered food shortly afterwards. 20 minutes later you are informed that the dish is no longer available and that you should choose something new. All in all very unfortunate and unsatisfactory service. Food was quite good.

Rump steak and fish were simply great.

Unfortunately, two of the three meals (leg of lamb and roast venison) were only warmed up, i.e. probably not freshly cooked - a shame! The side salad came very clearly and completely without dressing (!)...I ordered with vinegar/oil, but instead a bottle of vinegar/oil came to the table - salt and pepper only upon request. Unacceptable given the price and ambience. Unfortunately I can't recommend it.

It was my first time to eat here. The location is idyllic and I find it very nicely decorated inside. Parking available. The menu includes appealing dishes and the selection is great. I would say the prices are in the upper average range. Unfortunately I have to say that the food for these prices didn't convince me the first time. ... unfortunately, in my opinion, there are much better Kässpatzen elsewhere. Unfortunately it didn't appeal to me in terms of taste. Today I ate a salad with turkey strips - it was excellent and especially the dressing! That's why I liked to adjust my recession upwards. I found the portions to be large. The other dishes we ordered were also good. The quality of the processed food was great.

After today's visit to the Wirtshaus Kematsried, I'm really surprised by all the positive reviews. As some have already mentioned, you should bring a thick wallet. That's ok for good food, but not what we were served. Half of the ingredients were ready-made food from the metro. When I write it like that, I mean it. Because I come from the catering industry and unfortunately also have experience with ready-made food. In addition, the portions were very manageable. Children's food (including schnitzel with fries) was absolutely shocking. A really small mini schnitzel lay carelessly on the plate and a few fries next to it. It seemed as if the service staff had lost half of them on the way. Unfortunately, I have to say that the price management is terrible. We absolutely cannot recommend it. There are also much better restaurants in Oberjoch.

UNFORTUNATELY we've only been there twice so far... The price-performance ratio is actually too good if you want to compare this restaurant with others in town. None of us could say that we had ever gotten better quality meat anywhere. Perfectly seasoned for us (we're actually seasoners!), taste harmony on the plates, everything was really great!!! Not “overloaded” in terms of taste. Hats off and respect! Oh, and the cooking level was also perfect, both for the beef and the pork! ((;

We had lunch in the restaurant. The waitress was probably helping in the kitchen, which meant she wasn't as present. The salad dressing was incredibly delicious. Soup and main courses also tasted very good. The music didn't fit the ambience at all.

Das Gasthaus Kematsried liegt in Oberjoch, Bad Hindelang in idyllischer Ortsrandlage. Man speist in gemütlich-urigem Ambiente und der freundliche Service liefert die Standards der regionalen Küche in kinderfreundlicher Zeit. Der zarte Hirschbraten mit Preiselbeeren, Blaukraut und Walnussspätzle (besser: Spätzle mit Topping aus gehackten Walnüssen) wird in dünnen Scheiben serviert und irritiert durch einen strengen und als unangenehm empfundenen Fleischgeruch. Die darauf angesprochene Servivekraft äußert Verständnis und entgegnet, dass das normal sei und sie das Gericht selbst nicht herunterbekomme. Konsequent wird anschliessend der volle Preis berechnet. Die Kinder erhalten dafür eine kostenlose Kugel Eis. Dem schönen Haus mit seinem bäuerlichen Ambiente würde etwas mehr durchdachte Qualität sicherlich besser anstehen.

Gaumenfreude pur, angenehmes Ambiente, großartige Auswahl an Speisen.

Wir waren im September zum Abendessen vor Ort und leider sehr unzufrieden, vermutlich durch den Betreiberwechsel. Die Bedienung war ungepflegt und trug schmutzige Kleidung. Der Salat war nahezu ungenießbar und das Dressing ohne Geschmack, über Preis-Leistung braucht man nicht reden. Käsespätzle geschmacklich schlecht, und das im Allgäu. Putenschnitzel beim ersten Servieren nicht durchgebraten. Nach weiteren Getränkewünschen wurde nie gefragt. Als wir bezahlen wollten erlebten wir das Highlight. Für 1 Salat, 2 Putenschnitzel, 1 Käsespätzle und 4 Getränke dann über 90,00 €. Und das beste zum Schluss, der Kellner konnte/wollte uns kein Rückgeld auf 100,00 € geben mit der Aussage "Ich habe kein Kleingeld". Kann ich leider nicht empfehlen.

Ein nettes kleines Wirtshaus. Das Essen war lecker. Wir hatten Käsesuppe und zwei Steak-Varianten. Sehr zartes leckeres Fleisch. Suppe ebenfalls und alles nett angerichtet. service auch perfekt. Wir kommen auf jedenfall wieder.

Was für ein tolles uriges Ambiente. Als wir ankamen waren wir schon begeistert und auch das Essen war rustikal und sehr lecker. Das war ein wirklich besonderer Abend mit leckerem Bier und tollem Service. Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder und lassen gerne unsere Empfehlung da.

Mussten dort zu Abend essen,da das Hotel Heckelmiller Ruhetag hatte. Das Personal war völlig überfordert, die Suppe kühl im Minitöpfchen, Spätzleportion sehr klein, Zwiebeln nicht geröstet ,sondern pappig gebraten, Nachspeise nur süß. Wc schnuddelig.

Kein Verhältnis preis Leistung. Absolut schlecht. Inkompetente Mitarbeiter. Schönes Ambiente das wars

Leckere kleine Speisekarte. Sehr netter Service und der Salat war wirklich gut. Der Stern Abzug tatsächlich wie ich finde für die schon sehr gehobenen Preise. Es ist mir klar das alles teurer geworden ist, aber 17, 80 für einen Salat ( hauptsächlich grünen) finde ich ein wenig zuviel.

Essen gut und erschwinglich. Netter Service. Leider die vielen Mücken und Bremsen. Die Tische im Aussenbereich hätten mal eine Renovierung nötig 😀. Aber man sollte dennoch vorbei schauen. Gegenüber selbst Erzeugte Produkte vom Hof.

War nicht begeistert. Kaiserschmarrn Portion sehr klein, Geschmack mittelmäßig und man wartet trotz mehrfacher Nachfrage 30m auf die Rechnung. Eher nicht empfehlenswert.

Das Essen war wirklich lecker gewesen , zudem ist es innen zwar klein aber ziemlich gemütlich. Allerdings konnte der Angestellte nicht so gut deutsch, was zu manchen Missverständnissen führte. Im großen und ganzen aber ein kleiner feiner Laden.

Ich ..wir...waren schon vor vielen Jahren in dem etwas versteckten kleinen Restaurant "bezw. Biergarten vorzugsweise" Zuerst mal ist die Begrüßung herzlich- freundlich . Das Essen ist appetitlich zubereitet und schmackhaft. Das schönste aber ist die Ruhe ...wenig bis gar kein Auto Verkehr....dafür eine Bergkulisse vom feinsten ..Rings um .Eine Erholung auch fürs Auge.Die Essens Portionen sind ausreichend... Der Essens Preis....durchaus gerechtfertigt auf einer Bergregion . Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Wir waren Pfingstmontag Abend dort. Es gab nur noch eine verkürzte Speisekarte, da die Wirtsleute den Ansturm über Pfingsten wohl unterschätzt hatten. Das machte aber nichts, weil das, was wir essen wollten (hatten vorher schon im Internet die Speisekarte angesehen), war noch da. Als wir ohne Reservierung ankamen, sagte man uns, dass sie eigentlich ausgebucht seien. Wenn wir allerdings nur 75 Minuten brauchen würden (ab 19:30 ist der Tisch bereits reserviert), würde es gehen. „An uns solls nicht liegen“ sagten wir. Und haben bestellt. 10 Min später kam der Service dann an den Tisch und meinte, dass gerade jemand abgesagt hätte und wir daher uns auch Zeit lassen können. Essen (Leberknödelsuppe, Salat und Spanferkelbraten) waren sehr lecker. Bier auch. Service fix und sehr freundlich. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Gemütliche Alpe mit leckerem regionalen Gerichten. Der Kaiserschmarren ist zum Niederknien!!! Der Service ist herzlich und freundlich. Absolut zu empfehlen. Achtung ⚠️ nur Barzahlung möglich!
