Great pizza! Very attentive staff! Be sure to stay that way!

The Little Italy is a "simple" restaurant in the best sense of the word: the atmosphere is simply cozy, the landlord is simply very friendly and personable and: the food is just good, no, even very, very good. The Genoese-style spaghetti with the sensational homemade pesto received six out of five stars from my Italophile wife and was polished down to the last noodle. And I would rank my seafood pizza - and that's saying something for a 67-year-old good eater - among the top 15 Frutti di Mare pizzas I've eaten outside of Italy. Brilliant dough, wonderful topping! What we would give if there were fewer celebrity Italians with average cuisine at overpriced prices and more "Little Italys" with top Italian home cooking in our Upper Bavarian homeland. But that will probably remain a dream in the Munich area. That's why: If you end up in Ottobeuren, you should definitely stop by Little Italy - thanks to the innkeeper, by the way, for the simply good limoncello... and the availability of space without any formal reservation.

First of all: Service was very good. We were served very quickly. The pizzas were large and delivered/served very quickly. The base was very thin, the edge was really crispy.

Our visit to Little Italy was ok. The waiter tried very hard to accommodate the high volume of visitors and was very friendly. However, unfortunately he was alone and so everything took a very long time. The food was very good if you go there just for the pizza. (We still had carpaccio, bruschetta and a salad) However, we would only visit the restaurant to “pick up food”.

The restaurant was very full and we had to wait quite a long time. Since we were on vacation, that wasn't a problem. The food was great and the (only) waiter was responsible for inside and outside. But always remained friendly and very competent. It was a pleasure to watch him. Very cozy!

This place was recommended to me and was packed out on the night we arrived, we were told to come back in an hour and they would look after us. We were so glad that we did. The pizza in particular was amazing and the lasagna just as good. Really friendly and accommodating staff and super value for money.

Have been there for a while and took a pizza home. But with the tuna pizza you have to look for the tuna. Unfortunately the taste has deteriorated

Very friendly service. Lasagna tasted really good as well as the pizza. I would have preferred the bottom of the pizza a bit more toasted but it tasted really good. I love that they offer a seasonal pizza. Octopus calamari salad was also good despite that we are far away from the sea. The place has nice decor but it is not inviting for longer stay. Most important it was clean and tidy.

We were spontaneously in Ottobeuren at lunchtime today and were looking for something tasty to eat with our 3-year-old son. We found what we were looking for in Little Italy: The food was super tasty and the portions were absolutely filling. Plus the perfect price/performance ratio -> We'll definitely be back!

Unfamiliar city. Where are we going to eat? You usually can't go wrong with an Italian restaurant. But you can also experience a culinary sensation that is completely unexpected. I would have loved to have been there when the team sat together and thought about the creation of the Basilika pizza. Fireworks for the taste buds. A total work of art. Unfamiliar city. A lot of restaurants. Tonight again in Little Italy... I reserved a table that same evening. Bravo...bravissssimo

Best Italian in the area!! Small, cozy and absolutely authentic. The food is incredibly delicious and there are often special seasonal dishes that I have never found anywhere else. The artichoke salad as a starter is mega!!

The pizza is really good and the price is fair. I can definitely recommend it. We will come back. The service is nice, that's how it has to be. Parking is further away and the ambience only gets 3 stars. The taste makes up for the ambience. There are still pizza makers who know their craft! :)

I never expected to be able to eat one of the best pizzas outside of Italy in Ottobeuren in front of the Basilica...excellent dough...and excellent seasoning...rustic and basic place...but kind host and quick service. ..even baked pasta at the level of Italian taverns...excellent value for money.....if you want a good pizza (I'm from Campania) in a welcoming and informal environment and you're in the area. pop in.. .

Sehr gute Pizza! Top Nudeln, vor Allem "Tagliatelle Paglio e Fieno". Nettes Ambiente mit toller Aussicht auf die Ottobeurer Basilika. Wenn man draußen sitzt, ist es fast wie ein Urlaub! Super Wirtsleute und top Personal! Die neuen Pizzarezepte sind hervorragend! Knuspriger Teig und außergewöhnlicher Belag. Hervorragend, wie in Italien!

Ich schätze die Pizzeria Little Italy wirklich für die stets fairen Preise. Ich kenne kein Restaurant, das seine Preise seit Corona so moderat angehoben hat. Daher gebe ich hier auch gern etwas mehr Trinkgeld als anderswo. Im Little Italy kann man wirklich sehr lecker und preiswert essen. Die Pizzen und Pasta sind hervorragend. Der Besitzer super sympathisch und immer freundlich. Ich komme immer wieder gern! :)

Es gibt doch noch ein paar Italiener, die ihr Handwerk verstehen! Die Pizza ist lecker! Dünner Boden, luftiger krosser Rand mit passender Menge an Belag! Es gibt saisonale Pizzabeläge sowie Spezialbeläge mit Zutaten aus Italien. Hier merkt man die Leidenschaft zur italienischen Küche! Welcher sich auch im Service zeigt. Preis-Leistung ist hier gegeben. Die Pizzen sind nicht überteuert.

Wir haben essen zum Mitnehmen bestellt - ging sehr schnell und war sehr lecker! Service sehr freundlich, gerne wieder, kann ich jedem weiterempfehlen!!

Egal auf was man Hunger hat, hier hat bisher alles geschmeckt. Der Besitzer und seine Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich, auch wenn der Laden komplett voll ist (was quasi fast immer der Fall ist). Wir können die Pizzeria uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Ho mangiato in questo ristorante con un collega e devo dire che ci ritornerò senza esitazione! Tutto quello che ho scelto era di ottima qualità, il prezzo più che ragionevole. Sia la pizza, che la pasta, che i dolci ed il vino sfuso erano ottimi. E dulcis in fundo, tutto il personale è veramente ineccepibile e gentilissimo: un vero piacere!

Abbiamo cenato per 15 sere in questo locale, personale gentile e simpaticissimo. Ottima cuoca, ottimo pizzaiolo e ottimo cameriere. Grazie mille ragazzi, ritorneremo l'estate prossima. Aggiornamento, 2023.. Dopo due anni siamo passati da Ottobeuren ed abbiamo cenato da Little Italy Noi Tre. Complimenti ragazzi siete eccezionali!!! Abbiamo mangiato la lasagna alla bolognese, penne scampi e rucola e la pizza ai frutti di mare, Ottime 😋😋Lo consiglio a tutti. Arrivederci 🤝

Sehr gemütlicher kleiner Laden mit Außenbereich. Die Pizzen waren richtig lecker und dabei sogar recht günstig. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Große Empfehlung.

Das Essen war Super wie auch die sehr Nette Bedienung.

Bin Samstagmorgen operiert worden, nachmittag hoch aufs Zimmer. Seit tags zuvor nichts mehr gegessen. Pizzeria hat keinen Lieferdienst! Auf meine dringende Bitte wurde ich mit Pizza an die Krhpforte beliefert!!! Tausend Dank für diese super freundliche Geste:-)

Sehr lecker aber war auf einer Pizza zu viel Knoblauch drauf . Sonst super Lecker. Weiter so.

Sogar nach einem 2-wöchigen Italien Urlaub haben wir uns auf dem Heimweg noch schnell eine Pizza mitgenommen. Die Pizza, sowie Nudeln und Salate schmecken einfach hervorragend. Vor Ort kann man im Sommer draußen sitze. Im Hebst und Winter holen wir uns auch gerne mal was ab. Wir bestellen auch regelmäßig Mittags von der Arbeit aus und lassen uns vom italienischen Essen verzaubern. ALLES TOP :-)

Sind nur eine Nacht in Ottobeuren geblieben. Ein sehr nettes und kleines Lokal Beste Pizza bzw auch pizzabrot die wie bisher hatten Ein ganz großes Dankeschön auch an den Kellner sehr freundlich, lächelt sehr nett 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Ich war zum ersten Mal hier, aber war enttäuscht. Kleine Portionen (Pizza/Pasta), Zutaten nicht sonderlich hochwertig. Schade, dass man keine frischen Kräuter oder Salate der Saison verwendet. Stattdessen gibt es Eisbergsalat...im Sommer. Wenn man zur Pasta etwas Parmesan möchte, kostet dies 2,50€ Aufpreis. Fand ich unverschämt. Ambiente: Plastikstühle, keine Stofftischdecken, vorverpacktes Besteck. Ein "einfaches" Restaurant. Der Kellner war nett und aufmerksam. Aber ich komme nicht wieder. Tut mir Leid.

Sehr freundliche Bedienung. wirklich leckere, feine, autententische talienische Küche. Nicht so viel Schnickschnack, aber mit viel Liebe und Können zubereitet. Wer es mag, hat auch einen 1a Blick auf das Portal der Abtei.

Vongole fresche - frische Venusmuscheln standen auf der Karte. Mit einiger Skepsis bestellte ich mein Lieblingsgericht. "Die gibt es erst wieder am Freitag, da kommt die frische Ware" beschied mich der freundliche Ober. Das überzeugt mich, und ich wäre froh wenn so manche TK-Ware in anderen Lokalen nicht für frische verkauft würde. Die ersatzweise bestellten Spaghetti frutti die mare waren ausgezeichnet. Die Ravioli mit Steinpilzen hatten ein intensives Pilzaroma. Dazu das beste Bier aus dem Allgäu. Man sitzt draußen sehr angenehm, der Service ist tadellos und die Speisen kamen alle zur gleichen Zeit. Sehr gut!
