Miss Hong in Regensburg

Die Ramen in Kombination mit den Gyoza sind ein Traum. Alles andere wurde sowieso schon gesagt. Sehr lecker! Edit (die originale Rezension ist schon 4 Jahre alt): nach wie vor eines meiner absoluten Lieblingsrestaurants. Ich kann wärmstens ALLES hier empfehlen, besonders aber die Ramen und das Crunchy Sushi - ist einfach sooo lecker. Reservieren empfohlen.

Einfach TOP!!!!! 😃 Wir waren 5 Personen,zum ersten Mal und es war sehr gut, Bedienungen auch sehr nett und ging alles super schnell. Das Essen war sehr frisch und schon angerichtet! Kommen gerne wieder!👍

Super Restaurant mit großer Auswahl an Speisen und Getränken. Ambiente und Essen war 1A. Der Service hat teilweise ein bisschen länger gedauert. Man sollte am besten reservieren, da Samstag Mittag beinahe alle Plätze belegt waren. Wichtig zu beachten ist, dass nur Bar gezahlt werden kann.

Sind seit Jahren Gäste und müssen leider feststellen, dass die Qualität der Ramen Suppe stetig abnimmt. Anfangs die beste Regensburgs mittlerweile nur noch eine überteuerte Nudelsuppe mit zähem Fleisch und Eiern die komplett durch sind und nicht Mal richtig mariniert. Leider sehr enttäuschend.

Klein, aber fein mit sehr schönem Ambiente, freundliche Begrüßung. Selten so gut asiatisch gegessen, hier hat alles gepasst. Einziges Manko: Unbedingt vorab reservieren und Zeit einplanen. Wir hatten Glück, dass wir ohne Reservierung einen Tisch im Außenbereich ergattern konnten; nach uns kommende Gäste mussten doch etwas länger vor der Tür warten. In Anbetracht der Tatsache, dass der Laden proppevoll war, war die Wartezeit von der Bestellung bis zum Servieren der bestellten Gerichte noch akzeptabel. Unbedingt Bargeld mitnehmen, Karten werden nicht akzeptiert.

Wirklich süßes und angenehmes japanisches Ambiente. Das Essen (wir haben nur Sushi probiert) war gut und die Preise sind angemessen.

Eins der besten Restaurants in Regensburg mit unfassbar gutem Essen, großen Portionen und sehr freundlichem Service :) Am besten vorher reservieren

Wir hatten reserviert, das hat immerhin problemlos geklappt. Das Essen war nicht schlecht, aber eben auch nichts Besonderes. Leider wirkt das ganze Restaurant ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen: abgeranzte Tische und ebenso abgegriffene Speisekarten. Die Luft im Lokal steht, und die Lautstärke ist wirklich extrem – ein entspanntes Essen sieht anders aus. Der Service war okay, typisch Asia-Kitchen, aber auch nichts, was besonders positiv heraussticht. Kartenzahlung gibt es in Deutschland seit über 30 Jahren – nur hier scheinbar noch nicht… Alles in allem: kann man machen, muss man aber nicht unbedingt nochmal.

Wieder seeeehr lecker, es war recht viel los und die Bedienung daher ziemlich eingespannt, aber freundlich. Man kann gut sitzen, die Deko ist einfach witzig.

Es war furchtbar. Der Preis ist völlig überzogen. Ich kann es absolut nicht empfehlen. Das Essen ist billig und geschmacklos. Pasta für 19 € und Innereien für 2 €.

Mein „Go-to“ Japaner in Regensburg. Ich esse gern asiatisch und probiere hier auch gerne durch, aber an Miss Hong kommt niemand ran! Das Essen ist seit Jahren gleichbleibend hervorragend - die vielen positiven Bewertungen sprechen für sich. Man sollte etwas Wartezeit mitbringen, da der Service manchmal etwas chaotisch ist. Wenn man sich aber darauf einstellt ist Miss Hong eine 10/10!

Sehr coole Location, sehr leckeres Essen, gute Auswahl auch für Vegetarier. Preise in Ordnung, Mittagskarte günstig.

*The* place for Japanese cuisine in Regensburg. I haven't found a better "Japanese" restaurant (in Regensburg). The tonkotsu (pork broth) is real, not just a name. The best time to go is weekday lunchtime; from Friday lunchtime onwards, the surrounding countryside fills in and the atmosphere becomes less urban. One drawback: There are no alternatives to wheat noodles. So I can't bring anyone with a gluten intolerance for ramen.

Eine kleine kulinarische Perle in Regensburg! Das Essen ist authentisch, mit großer Auswahl und einem richtig guten Mittagsmenü. Die Sushi sind jedes Mal ein Highlight – frisch, kreativ und einfach unglaublich lecker. Jedes Mal, wenn ich dort esse, bin ich fast traurig, dass ich irgendwann satt bin. Ein echter Geheimtipp – unbedingt ausprobieren!

Wir essen schon seit Jahren hin- und wieder im Miss Hong und das Essen war immer ausgezeichnet. Die Speisekarte bietet viel Auswahl für jeden Geschmack und auch für Veganer gibt es einige explizit ausgewiesene Gerichte. Besonders die Saison-Speisekarte ist richtig kreativ und bietet Gerichte, die man sonst eher nicht bekommt. Auch die Getränke-Auswahl ist ausgefallen und kreativ. Wir haben unser Essen immer zügig bekommen und die Bedienungen waren nett und freundlich. Die Portionen sind teilweise recht groß, aber Einpacken ist gar kein Problem.

I visited around 1 PM and had to wait for nearly an hour and a half before our food was served. When I politely asked the waitress about the delay, she responded very rudely, made faces, and showed clear disrespect. Even after finally serving the food, which was actually good, her attitude remained unpleasant when we requested the bill. It was extremely disappointing to be treated this way, especially after such a long wait. Good food alone isn’t enough when the service makes guests feel unwelcome. A little courtesy, patience, and respect toward customers would go a long way in improving the overall experience.

Extremely cramped, very loud, and the tables are often dirty and sticky. You have no privacy as you're right next to the next table. The food wasn't that good either.

The food is quite good, but not accepting card payments in 2025 is out of the question.

This was the third time I've experienced this when picking up my order: the server allegedly didn't have enough change in her wallet and therefore wanted to give me less change, essentially forcing me to tip. The first two times I accepted it, but the third time I insisted on getting my full change, which I was given. It seems like a scam to me. Apart from that, the food and service are impeccable. I eat and order there regularly.

Delicious food and a really cutely decorated restaurant – really cozy! It's just a shame that it's quite small, making it rather impractical for wheelchairs or strollers.

We arrived around 5 p.m., and after about five minutes, someone came and took our order. The service was nice. I got the miso ramen soup, which came hot, was really tasty, and quite filling. For the price of €16.90, it's definitely worth it. After we were finished, we immediately asked for the receipt and were able to pay right away, which was quick. Overall, the food was good and authentic; it was quite tasty.

Miss Hong in Regensburg impresses with its delicious food, especially the large selection of sushi, which is a real plus. A visit is definitely worth it, but reservations are recommended, as the place is popular and can fill up quickly. The restroom is clean and well-maintained, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The only minor criticism is the somewhat messy basement entrance; otherwise, the restaurant makes a very good impression. If you're looking for good sushi and Asian cuisine, you'll find it here. I'd be happy to return and highly recommend Miss Hong.

We visited Miss Jong's over the weekend and received a very friendly welcome. Reservations are definitely recommended on weekends. We wouldn't have been able to get a seat without a reservation because the place was very busy. The udon noodles with curry are highly recommended; they taste great. They also offer a variety of delicious drinks. Vegetarian dishes are also available. We'll be happy to come back.

A somewhat hidden restaurant in Regensburg's city center. We had a reservation, which is necessary most days if you want to eat in a restaurant with a short wait. Unfortunately, there was a long wait for sushi that day. Still, a good restaurant.

Anyone who wants to eat at Miss Hong should definitely make a reservation in advance. Without a reservation, you'll have to wait and be moved around – but that's fine with me. The food has always been fresh and delicious – and the waitresses are attentive and friendly. However, I've noticed several times now that the cloths used to wipe the tables smell. This is not only unhygienic, but also, and especially, unpleasant if you linger and eat at that table for a while.

A huge variety of sushi – everything sounded delicious and exciting. The selection is truly fantastic, with something for everyone. Unfortunately, it took quite a while for the food to arrive – so we had to be patient. Payment is only possible in cash or via PayPal, so be aware of that beforehand.

I ate bibimbap today. Unfortunately, I didn't like it. It came steaming hot and everything was already mixed together, it wasn't fresh, and there was an inch of oil at the bottom. The rice and the entire dish—as I said, everything was mixed together from the start—were coated in an incredible amount of oil.

The location is nice, the staff very friendly. The food selection is good. Unfortunately, a regular rice and meat dish was completely oversalted, but it was returned without complaint, which is a very positive point. The sushi was OK. Therefore, overall, a satisfactory experience, nothing more, nothing less.

I've been there several times with my boyfriend, almost every time we're in Regensburg. Reserving a table is super easy and always works out. The staff is very friendly, and Miss Hong is a wonderful woman. The food is excellent: sushi, soups, and today I had the chance to try the Korean cuisine, and the food never disappointed me. We always love going back, and I'm looking forward to the next time.

I can really relate to others. Very large and, above all, picturesque selection of dishes. Rarely eaten so fresh and delicious. Prices also acceptable. I can only recommend a visit here to everyone. Goods from Munich. It's a shame that this restaurant isn't in Munich.

We had reservations for 8:30 p.m. and arrived at 8:35 p.m. Unfortunately, our table wasn't free yet and we had to wait as if the reservation hadn't even existed. Maybe that's common there, but I know from other restaurants that a reserved table is actually available. That seemed a bit disorganized. We also had to wait over 40 minutes for the food. Maybe that's normal here, but it was too long for us. The taste of the food was okay, but after so much waiting we would have expected something more. Overall, the staff seemed rather stressed and not attentive. It was also very warm and stuffy inside, which made the stay even more uncomfortable. We were actually looking forward to the evening, but unfortunately the visit was disappointing overall. For a city like Regensburg, which welcomes a lot of guests, that doesn't leave a particularly good impression. Unfortunately only one star.

Good portions, very fresh and deliciously prepared and by far the best soy sauce (house sauce) I have ever eaten! A real revelation! Conclusion: very cozy, rather smaller restaurant that is lovingly run and the food is excellent! It can also be ordered to take away and the employees (boss & boss?) are incredibly friendly and really enjoy their roles as hosts! A great experience, I'll definitely be back! 👌🫶

Amazing atmosphere with authenticity. One of the best Ramen I had in Germany. Their sushi is alsoreally good. I have been here several times and I cannot recommend them enough. They are very helpful. The food is very tasty, the portions are absolutely sufficient. The service is good and the atmosphere is appropriate. The best place to park is at Dachauplatz (parking garage), then it's only a few minutes walk.

Das Restaurant ist sehr liebevoll dekoriert mit kleinen Figuren, Stofftieren, japanischen Lampen etc. Man fühlt sich wirklich wie in Japan. Die Speisekarte ist groß und so fällt die Auswahl schwer. Es gibt auch eine große Auswahl für Vegetarier und Veganer. Unser Essen war hervorragend, sehr authentisch und ein Highlight in Regensburgs Gastronomie. Der Service war ebenfalls sehr freundlich. Eine Reservierung ist anzuraten, da es sehr voll war. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

We ate at the restaurant because of the many positive reviews and were not disappointed. The restaurant is very lovingly decorated with small figures, stuffed animals, Japanese lamps, etc. You really feel like you are in Japan. The menu is large and it is difficult to choose. There is also a large selection for vegetarians and vegans. Our food was excellent, very authentic and a highlight in Regensburg's gastronomy. The service was also very friendly. Reservations are recommended as it was very busy. We'll definitely be back!

The food was delicious 😋, and the price-quality ratio is very good 👍🏼 The girl who served came to charge us but we got the impression that she was taking us out because apparently the other people who were going to sit there after us had already come. We thought the way she did it was unkind, plus PAY ONLY IT IS CASH, there is the option to pay with Paypal but the lady did not give us the option (my friend had to ask), in the end we could pay with Paypal but it was an uncomfortable situation. In addition, there was a long line of people waiting outside and at the door and it prevented people from leaving smoothly.

Die Tische sind in der Mittagszeit permanent besetzt, und sollte gerade kein Platz frei sein: unbedingt warten, es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall! Die Speisen sind frisch zubereitet, die Auswahl ist toll und es sind einfache und unglaublich wohlschmeckende Gerichte! Miss Hong darf bei keinem Besuch in Regensburg fehlen!

Everything we ate was very tasty. Sushi and gyoza are highly recommended. The cocktails could contain a little more alcohol 😁 Make sure you make a reservation and no card payment is possible, but they do offer PayPal payment in case of an emergency. We'd love to come back.

Since the food was really great, I would have really, really liked to give it 5 stars. Unfortunately, our reservation was messed up here and we just stood around stupidly in the full restaurant and then walked around the block for another 10 minutes to pass the time. The tables here are also rather close together and the resulting sound level might be a bit lower for my taste. So you could still work on the feel-good factor. The fact that there are still 4 stars is solely due to the food, which there was really nothing to complain about here. It was really delicious!

I really liked it here. The service was really quick and very nice. We really enjoyed the food. Since the space is limited, you sit very close together with the other guests, but that was ok. (Hence one star deducted for the ambience) I will definitely recommend the restaurant.
