Absolutely the best Thai restaurant for miles around! 😍 The food is incredibly delicious, and I'm always happy to come here! The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating! ☺️ I'll be back again and again.

Absolute best Thai food restaurant I've visited in all of western Europe and the United States combined. Everything is wonderful: the food, the atmosphere, the staff... You really can't ask for more! I especially recommend the Tom Yum Goong soup. Wonderfully perfect 😊

The restaurant is always fully booked, so reservations are recommended. Communication via email is quick and reliable. The food and ambiance are truly excellent; you can tell the owners put a lot of love and passion into their restaurant. Star deductions for service and noise level. Unfortunately, the service was not good; we were forgotten several times. I could overlook that, but what I find unacceptable is the noise level. The two of us sat in the room with the elephant head on the wall, and the room wasn't full. Nevertheless, it was almost impossible to have a relaxed conversation.

A true gem for authentic Thai cuisine! I visited with a Thai tour group – and we were absolutely thrilled. The food was absolutely authentic and received high praise from everyone in the group. I would especially like to emphasize the owners' exceptional hospitality: They even arranged for pork in advance to prepare a traditional Thai dish that is very popular with Thais – even though it's not even on the menu. This attentiveness and desire to offer guests a true taste of Thailand were truly impressive. A wonderful experience – highly recommended!

We were in a hurry in town and wanted Thai takeaway. I ordered two curries. The food was excellent—it tasted like authentic Thai curry. We don't live nearby, so this type of curry isn't available in our area. However, I'm deducting one star because the wait for the takeaway was quite long and it wasn't busy, which was a bit disappointing. The food was also packaged in small cardboard containers, and the duck was wrapped separately, which made eating on the go difficult. For the price, I expected better packaging. Third, the portions were quite small for the price, and the rice was only enough for one person. However, the food was very good. Perhaps they just need to work on these other aspects, and it would be perfect.

We ate at Muang Thai on a Saturday evening. Restaurants are known to be busier on Saturday evenings, so we had a reservation. The restaurant was almost fully booked, and the three servers were very busy. This meant we had to wait a bit longer, but if you want something fast, you should go to McDonald's. Despite the extremely high workload, the servers were polite, attentive, and made us feel like they were only concerned with us. After we ordered our drinks, appetizer, and main course, we had to wait a completely reasonable amount of time for our food. All of the dishes we ordered were very tasty, fresh, and cooked to perfection. No MSG, no frozen food, no convenience foods—no difference from what we ate in Bangkok and on Koh Samui. I highly recommend Muang Thai. The only downside: Due to the stone floor and relatively bare walls, it's a bit louder than in many other restaurants - but you can also go out to eat at other times than Saturday night.

Very tasty and fresh food, well seasoned, appropriate spiciness. The Tom Kha Gai soup can also be ordered as a main course (a slightly larger portion and with rice). Nice ambience. The service could be a little more attentive (drinks have been empty for a while), but is very friendly. I'd love to come back.

I've been a regular for many years, the food is always very tasty and fresh, no comparison to "Asia Imbiss Essen", of course also a different (reasonable) price range. The winding rooms and the decoration create a beautiful ambience. Unfortunately, I was less impressed with the service for a while, but things seem to have changed for the better recently.

Here you can eat well in a well-kept atmosphere. Friendly service. Not an insider tip - so make sure you reserve!

The restaurant looks chic and the food is super tasty😋. Even if it's full you can have a good conversation because it's not too loud. The waitresses try hard but are very young and seem a bit insecure. At least when I visited on Thursday evening. My highlight is that it's great to eat vegan here☺️👍🏼. In addition, it is cooked without flavor enhancers. I'd love to come back!

Muang Thai Restaurant Ingolstadt The restaurant is nicely decorated and the service is really very friendly. Unfortunately we didn't like the food at all. We love Thai food and yes, we have been to Thailand, where we got to know and appreciate the authentic cuisine. That's precisely why we had high expectations and wanted to give the restaurant a fair chance. After a long time we visited it a second time and tried different dishes to get a better impression of the menu. But unfortunately we were disappointed every time - the taste was rather ordinary. We're sorry to say this, but some delivery services outside of Ingolstadt may even offer better quality. The prices would have been okay if the food had been tasty. Unfortunately, this restaurant probably won't be on our list the next time we visit Ingolstadt. Another point is the atmosphere: when the restaurant is busy, it gets very loud, which makes eating and conversation less pleasant. Of course, this is just our personal opinion, but given the many positive reviews, we can't hide our disappointment. Unfortunately, our experiences were not convincing in both cases.

Great Thai, very authentic and fresh food. Super fast service, very attentive. The decor is modern with Thai items. A real insider tip in Ingolstadt’s old town. We had Som Tam, Thai spicy Gai Pad Cha, very authentic Gai Sate with very fine peanut sauce Roti (puff pastry not typical for the country) with vanilla ice cream Price performance fits here.

Very nice atmosphere. Food is good but not above average (at least if you have been to Thailand and eaten there). The gentleman who brought us to our table was really very nice and attentive! I would particularly like to highlight this! Unfortunately, the girls who continued to serve us were not particularly friendly or accommodating. As the owner, I would definitely seek a conversation. In terms of price, I found the food to be a little too expensive. A good vegetarian selection is positive!

One of the best Asians in Ingolstadt, and there are more than enough of them these days. Small but fine menu with authentic Thai dishes and creations tailored to the German palate. The level of spiciness is easy to manage based on the chili peppers on the menu. Super!

I was completely satisfied - high quality of ingredients, finely seasoned, good service, nice ambience. I tried the satay skewers with peanut sauce and the fried beef with vegetables in soy sauce with a nice coriander aroma. Maybe you could offer more desserts, e.g. E.g. exotic fruits or matcha ice cream, that would be my only criticism. Otherwise a nice visit and certainly not the last.

There's honestly nothing more to say here. Was there a few years ago and wasn't thrilled BUT tried again and it was a hit!!! So fresh and tasty. The quantity is perfect. The service was busy, but very accommodating and absolutely friendly. Changes (fried chicken instead of grilled chicken) were accepted at no extra charge. Really really good!! Definitely coming back. I was there for the second time and the saying comes to mind: less is more. Less, the portion was small, it tasted mediocre, only the price was more. Specifically, the papaya salad reminded me of homeopathy, the Pad Thai noodles were mushy and the meal with 2 "chilli stars" wasn't the least bit spicy. I wanted to give 3 stars because we had a nice evening there despite the food, but I find it outrageous that the prices given on the internet are wrong, or you can see how much more expensive the dishes were. The papaya salad cost €10.90, we paid just under €15, that's over 35%! If I were the operator of the restaurant, I would quickly correct the prices and why not add another good 30%. The papaya salad would then cost €19.90. Take heart, as long as the guest pays for it...If I still had the receipt, I would complain.

Authentic, tasty and not overpriced. The two of us ordered three dishes and ate them together (2x starters, 1x main course) and paid just 50 euros with drinks and a tip. Really fair prices for food and drink. Everything tasted great and the service was always friendly and quick. Top address

Sehr nettes Restaurant. Die Gerichte, die wir hatten waren gut. Preis-Leistung finde ich nicht ganz ausgewogen. Einfaches Gemüse-Curry für 17,80 € und für eine kleine Schale extra Reis wurden 2,80 € zusätzlich berechnet. Auf Nachfrage wurde nur flappsig geantwortet, dass das auch etwas kostet. Ja klar…vielleicht 20 Cent im Einkauf. In dem Moment habe ich mich sehr über mein gegebenes Trinkgeld geärgert und werde daher nicht wiederkommen.

Wir haben sehr kurzfristig noch einen Tisch bekommen, das Personal ist sehr freundlich und das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder dort Essen gehen.

Sehr netter Service, schönes Ambiente, wo die Tische nicht nebeneinander dicht an dicht gereiht sind (so dass man keinerlei Privatsphäre hätte), gutes und schön angerichtetes Essen. Lediglich die Preise sind schon etwas anstrengend (Suppen vorab ca 7€, Hauptgerichte ca 15-20€) - nicht total günstig, wenn auch sicherlich heutzutage für den Betreiber notwendig...

Das Essen ist hervorragend mit einer super Qualität. Die Ente war knusprig, saftig und sehr weich. Jedes Mal dort sehr gut gegessen.

Wir waren in einer größeren Gruppe dort. Ich hatte Wan Tan Suppe und Glasnudeln mit Hähnchen und Gemüse und beides war wirklich gut! Für mich fehlten am Essen nur noch ein paar Nuancen zu 5 Sternen. Die Suppe vorweg war kräftig im Geschmack und ich fand's wirklich schade, als die Schüssel leer war!Wie originalgetreu das Essen ist, kann ich nicht beurteilen, aber ich fand es sehr gut! Sehr positiv hat mich überrascht, wie gut ALLE ANGESTELLTEN deutsch gesprochen haben. Verständigungsschwierigkeiten gab's nur durch die Lautstärke im Lokal.

Die Karte ist angenehm überschaubar, alles ist immer absolut frisch und einfach unschlagbar lecker - vor allem aber unschlagbar authentisch thailändisch. Besser geht es wirklich nicht. Wir kommen schon eine ganze Weile immer wieder sehr gerne hierher. Die Bedienung ist großartig und es ist jedes Mal ein wunderbarer Abend. Macht bitte noch lange weiter so!
