The two innkeepers run the restaurant with complete passion and you can tell this with every sip that is served and with every bite that tantalizes the taste buds. Starting with the amuse gueule and ending with the dessert. All star cuisine. For me, Alois Forster is one of the best chefs in southern Germany. The wines are a delight. Everything is regional and super fresh. By the way, if you're looking for cheap schnitzel and fries here, you're in the wrong place.
Are here on the journey through. The service is super nice and the food is very tasty. There is a parking space for the camper and there is also electricity. The parking space per night costs €9. We are very satisfied
Wonderful.
The food is delicious. The young lady who runs the avocado bar gives cheerful, competent and personal advice. Everything is prepared fresh. The atmosphere is cozy and private, even though there were as many people there as possible during Corona.
Go and try it out!
Modest friendliness and customer focus. Aperol still has a lot of potential. Children had to go to the park next door because they still had an ice cream from an ice cream parlor in their hands.
Located right in the Dorint Hotel Dorint.
The burger was a disappointment for €18.50. It had a strong, bland taste. The sauce was like a ready-made burger sauce, and the meat and bread were dry.
The portion of fries came from a bag and wasn't worth €6.
I wouldn't recommend the burger.
The two employees were very friendly and accommodating; they can't be blamed for the quality of the food.
Both pasta and burgers were delicious, the service was very friendly, and the value for money was good. Giu's Pastaria definitely deserves more attention :)
The food was very good, as was the service and ambiance. Everything could be improved, but it was simply excellent all around. 4 stars aren't enough, so 5.
Beautiful ambiance and nice uniforms for the waiters, although they were occasionally very slow.
Unfortunately, the music was loud, coming from a band with a trombone (!), making conversation very difficult.
The food was highly variable, despite the small menu: the starters, for example, the beef tartare, were a dream, but the main courses were extremely variable: great chicken, unimaginative artichokes, and a tiny portion for a main course!
As for dessert, the tiramisu was unspeakable:
Dry, crumbly chocolate cake, topped with a thick layer of mascarpone, and finally, an orange slice as the crowning glory. A disgrace!
The food was good, but it took an incredibly long time.
In general, the service that day was a bit sloppy.
The restaurant has a very cool design and is very centrally located near Stachus.
Another plus point is that it's open on Monday evenings.
That day, we had fish soup, and the whole restaurant had a VERY strong smell, which was a bit unpleasant.
The menu has a good selection, and the portions are generous.
Overall, despite a few drawbacks, it's worth a visit.
Reservation for a table for two people inside was OK. When we arrived, a person (the manager?) was standing at the computer, calmly typing in information without paying any attention to us. After about 5 minutes: "Can I help you?"... Ordered at the table: 1 Wiener schnitzel and 1 Tafelspitz. The food arrived in a reasonable time; the presentation of the dishes suggested that this wasn't done often, but it was acceptable. The dishes were truly top-notch and justified the price. Then the waitresses disappeared. After half an hour, I had to get up to check on the ladies. My polite question about whether service had stopped went unanswered, I assume because they didn't understand me. After another 10 minutes, a waitress came and asked if we wanted anything else. We asked for the dessert menu, which arrived. After our order, it was wait, wait, wait... after 30 minutes, we got up and asked for the bill. We've been to the "Goldener Plough Ising" several times in recent years—most recently six years ago—and we can say in conclusion: the food standard has remained just as good; the service can only be described as a disaster. Too bad, we'd rather wait another six years...
