Super nice service and a great meal! Gladly again !

Wir hatten das Vergnügen, unsere Hochzeit in diesem exklusiven Lokal zu feiern, das extra für uns geöffnet wurde. Das Ambiente war stilvoll und luxuriös, der Service makellos. Das 5-Gänge-Menü war ein kulinarisches Highlight – jeder Gang begleitet von einem perfekt abgestimmten Wein. Die Getränkeauswahl und der Service ließen keine Wünsche offen. Es war ein unvergessliches Erlebnis, das wir jedem empfehlen können, der eine besondere Feier plant. Perfektion in jedem Detail!

We were in the Schäfer Stuben on our last evening. Even though we didn't have a reservation, we were warmly welcomed. You immediately felt at home after the welcome. The food and drink (Schäferschole) was very tasty 😋. The liverwurst schnapps was also a highlight. Greetings to the host. 😉 We will be happy to come back there next year.

Delicious menu, perfect service.

A la carte food was disappointing, wild hare ragout only tasted of spices, not of the meat, dessert was simple nougat ice cream, only the filled dumplings with cambert and wild garlic mayonnaise were tasty. No greeting from the kitchen and no schnapps or praline on the bill, carelessly routine, in contrast to the experience 2 years ago. Our friends had the small menu. It looked good and tasted good, but no additional gesture from the kitchen either. You would expect a little more warmth given the price level.

A pleasure for all the senses, great ambience, very good food and great staff, a restaurant for special occasions. Five stars are clearly not enough.

Great food, friendly staff, nice atmosphere. There was a good selection of steaks that were individually and freshly prepared according to the gram. Obviously prepared and served with passion, friendly and not superficial service, despite the upscale food. To be honest, it wasn't very cheap, we paid €140 for 200g steaks each (2 people), but it was both! By far the best steaks we have ever eaten. It wasn't the cheapest meat either, but also very, very good. So it's only partly down to the restaurant itself. Since the pricing is transparent and the quality is right, it is (unfortunately for us) appropriate. If there's some money again, I'd be happy to do it again for a nice occasion!

Menu with very imaginative dishes that not only look very good, special editions are very tasty. Price and performance are absolutely consistent. It wasn't the last time we were here and we're looking forward to more great evenings in this very nice inn with great hosts. Thank you
