The inn offers Franconian AND Greek cuisine. It is located in a nice corner of Nuremberg with relatively good parking and a nearby subway station. In addition to the beautiful interior, there is a beautiful, large green beer garden. The service is super friendly, nice and accommodating. We didn't have to wait very long for the drinks and food. Special requests were also addressed. There is a wide variety of dishes. The Franconian dishes are probably quite good; The portions are also fairly large, which is ok considering the prices. The main courses are between €11-18. There are vegetarian dishes and also a large selection of children's portions. What we have to criticize strongly, however, are the fish dishes and Greek dishes: The fish FILET was not a fillet but a very bone-filled slice. Especially since a different fish was served than what was ordered (as a hunter and angler you know your stuff). The fish slice was probably fried to 'cover' the skin. The squid rings were very similar to the store-bought frozen squid rings from the discount store. The sparkling water comes from plastic bottles, but the price for a glass of water is relatively high - in my opinion. We personally found the classic Greek dishes (gyros, spuvlaki) to be very salty and inappropriately seasoned, but that's a matter of taste. Many people who are sensitive to flavor enhancers and finished products (E numbers etc.) should be careful here and ask again if necessary or explicitly point out any intolerances/allergies. All in all, I can recommend this restaurant for Franconian and partly Greek dishes, but I would say no for fish and seafood. The prices are okay for the location, but I found the last dishes mentioned to be lacking in quality.

Super! One of the very best greek foods I have eaten yet. I strongly recommand it.

Dear El Greco team, We were with you about two days ago. The food was good, but not enough for the price. The service was courteous and nice, although the service at the neighboring table was a bit annoyed, which made everything a little unpleasant. Nevertheless, El Greco can be recommended, even if the price-performance ratio could have been a little better. Thanks!

As part of a training course, I was invited to this restaurant for lunch. When asked whether one of the vegetarian dishes could also be prepared vegan, the waiter was confused and referred me to a colleague. He was obviously very annoyed by the question, rolled his eyes and sighed loudly. Only then did he ask me the question “And what does that mean exactly?” When I was told that there should be no animal ingredients in the food, I was told that this would be the case with a salad on the menu anyway. The waiter couldn't answer my question as to why animal allergens were listed in the dish in question, but apparently didn't want to reassure himself further and just said again that there was nothing animal in it. Only after a hint of "Could it be yogurt or honey?" the waiter said to me "Oh yeah! That might be possible! But no meat! Promise." I then left and didn't eat anything. My point in this review is not about the lack of a vegan option, but rather about the fact that the staff obviously doesn't know what they're serving and doesn't want to know - even with regard to the allergens it contains.

We ended up here looking for a good Greek restaurant and were pleasantly surprised. Very nice staff and the food was also very good. Will definitely come back.

I recently moved to Ingolstadt and had dinner here with my family for my birthday. We received a very warm welcome, had nice small talk with the very accommodating staff and at the end we were even given wine as a birthday present. Apart from the great atmosphere, the food was also incredibly tasty. Quote from my sister "If I didn't live so far away, this would be my new regular restaurant." ☺️
