Food low level. Souvlaki were uniform cheese sticks covered with wafer-thin meat. Convenience? Was very even.

Greeted very well on entry. Staff were attentive and nice. Food was fresh and delicious 😋 Been a few times over the years and does not disappoint. Garden is lovely when weather is warm and sunny. Can recommend the lamb filet.

I was here again after years and was really looking forward to it. The staff was nice and tried hard. Unfortunately we received 2 wrong meals. The exchange worked without any problems, but according to the invoice I paid for the one dish (which was not ordered). The price was higher than the actual dish that was ordered. The starter plate was a bit too small and uninspired. I lacked variation. The gyros were an incredibly large portion, but unfortunately the meat was surprisingly dry. In my opinion there was far too little tzatziki for this. Very little rice was served as a side dish. It would probably make more sense to halve the amount of meat and serve a second side dish. The additional tzatziki we ordered cost around €6. I won't be able to get used to this. All around more of a disappointment.

Used to be a favorite Greek. Today mass processing, poor quality food, wilted lettuce like it came from the organic waste bin, grape leaves, soggy canned stuff with ready-made sauce, gyros like fast food, etc. I can't recommend any dish. Service friendly but overwhelmed and haphazard. And inflated prices too. The only positive thing is the beautiful covered terrace. But I definitely won't go there anymore just for that.

Unfortunately it has fallen off a lot, except for the prices. Service staff inattentive to haphazard, friendliness ok. Lettuce wilted, stuffed grape leaves mushy, fries cold and tasteless, gyros with Metaxa sauce worked like that. The price is exorbitant, hardly a dish is under 20 euros. Significantly too expensive for the performance. The ambience is quite good, the huge movable roof means you are well protected from sun or rain. All in all, we probably won't go back.

We were there for dinner. There were 6 of us in total. We weren't greeted at the entrance, as we know from other restaurants. Our waiter seemed very stressed and annoyed. Some drinks were taken but not brought. The starters as well as the main courses were edible, but not highlights. While serving, the waiter knocked over a bottle of water at the table. He apologized but didn't bring a new bottle. It's a shame, because it's a nice restaurant with a large covered garden. Unfortunately, we felt like we were being processed there on an assembly line. So we were there for the first and last time.

A real Greek with a beautiful large terrace

A great restaurant with a large beer garden that can be covered. No gravel floor, children's playground and great location. The staff and service are great, good food and fair prices. I've been there several times at lunchtime and in the evening, and I'm always happy to go again :)

Unfortunately the main courses couldn't keep up with the starters 🤷🏼‍♂️. The souvlaki are oversalted and the calamari is grilled dark to black 😳

Good to very good Greek. Very nice garden to sit in, a little dark inside, but also lovingly designed. The food is what you would expect from a Greek, always at least good to very good. Large selection of dishes, but the prices have also increased noticeably. Service is always great and very attentive, but sometimes too fast. If you're not careful, you'll be served the main course shortly after the starter and it'll be ready after 30 minutes... Therefore, slow down the waiter's pace when ordering and it will be a pleasant evening. To recommend.

Food good, prices now shocking! We have known this Greek for many, many years, well over 10 years. Food is usually always good. However, we were very shocked today, we haven't been there for a while. The prices have increased massively! For two normal gyros main courses, two small starters (without any fancy gimmicks) and two non-alcoholic drinks => including TG just under 80 euros Yes, the purchase price has increased, but we were “almost” 100 euros for “quickly something for dinner”. (No pidabread, no dessert, no wine, no beer or anything similar.) However, no matter how honest you have to be, in the end you won't be hungry anymore! Portions are good!

Our visit to this restaurant was once again a complete success. The atmosphere invites you to linger and offers the perfect setting for lively conversations. The staff impresses with their efforts to ensure that every guest has a satisfactory experience - an attentiveness that is no longer found everywhere these days. In short, it is a place where you can not only dine excellently, but also unwind.

Great Greek in the middle of Gröbenzell. We haven't tried the other Greeks in the place yet, but El Greco is very good and tasty, so we didn't even manage to test other Greeks in the place 😁 Service is attentive, humorous and in a good mood. The food tastes very tasty and is freshly prepared. It's definitely always worth a visit and we've eaten there several times now. In summer you can also eat outside on the large terrace and there is enough space. You should reserve in advance!

Auch für mich seit Jahren die Anlaufstelle für leckere griechische Küche. Bis dato kein Gericht, ob kalt oder warm, was nicht gepasst hat. Auch beim Personal, resp. Service, keine Abstriche. Alle, angefangen vom Chef bis zur Bedienung, allesamt sehr freundlich! Spezielle "Änderungswünsche" zur Bestellung sind kein Problem und werden umgesetzt. Ich/Wir haben bislang nie Probleme gehabt einen Tisch zu bekommen. Trotzdem macht es Sinn, bei einer größeren Gästeanzahl vorher zu reservieren! Für mich, nach wie vor, eine klare Empfehlung. Egal ob zu Zweit, mit Familie, oder in einer Gruppe!

Service und Essen traditionelle griechische Küche

Sehr leckeres Essen,sehr freundliche Bedienung. Obwohl es voll war,bräuchten wir nicht zu lange warten. Preis Leistung stimmt.

Wenn man griechisch Essen will, geht man ins El Greco in Gröbenzell! Das Essen ist sehr lecker und die Portionen reichlich! Änderungswünsche werden anstandslos entgegen genommen! Es gibt Kinderstühle für Kleinkinder. Große Auswahl an Speisen. Es gibt auch eine Mittagskarte! Im Sommer kann man im großen Biergarten sitzen und sein Essen genießen. Eine Reservierung sollten man zumindest am Wochenende veranlassen ansonsten ist es möglich, dass man keinen Platz bekommt!

Meine Schwiegereltern sind hier früher zum Tanzen gegangen und das El Greco hat sozusagen Tradition. Kein Grund, das zu ändern, denn Service und Essen waren und sind immer top. Ich würde für die Zukunft noch vegane Alternativen auf der Karte kennzeichnen, damit man nicht fragen muss.

Gastronomisch ein Traum, der Serviceleute waren immer zu Stelle und haben für Nachschub gesorgt, keine langen Wartezeiten. Ein klassisches griechisches Lokal, in dem Wohlfühlen sehr einfach ist.

Der Service war nett und schnell. Wir waren zur Mittagszeit. Es gab dementsprechend eine extra Mittagskarte, die angebotenen Gerichte hatten ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und haben gut geschmeckt. Wir werden das sicherlich noch mal nützen

Gute griechische Küche und leckeres Essen. Das Restaurant ist insgesamt sehr gut besucht. Wenn man hierher essen gehen möchte, am besten einen Tisch reservieren lassen. Spontan würde es auch gehen bzw. Tag, Uhrzeit und Glück abhängig. Ansonsten kann man absolut weiterempfehlen.

El Greco ist immer gut. Seit 20 Jahren gehen wir alle 14 Tage zum El Greco ob zu zweit oder mit Freunden. Auch Feiern sind möglich und gut. Ich hoffe, das ist die nächsten 20 Jahre auch so.

Essen war eins a (spar Ribs mit Pommes). Personal war sehr freundlich. Essen war in ca. 15 Minuten bei uns am Tisch. Einrichtung auch sehr schön.
