We pre-ordered food for seven people via text message for pickup the following evening. The junior manager confirmed this to us via voicemail and text message. There was even a phone call. Then, when we went to pick up the order, the junior manager wasn't there. No one knew anything about the pre-order, and the senior manager was also very unfriendly. As if we were to blame for the whole mess. Only after we presented the confirmation, etc., as proof did we receive an apology from two waiters, but not from the senior manager. A full 40 minutes later, we finally got our seven takeaway meals. A lot of chaos and hassle for a birthday we had planned to celebrate quietly. However, a big compliment to the kitchen. All the dishes were very good and plentiful! That did lift our spirits somewhat. However, even a day later, there was neither an explanation nor an apology from the junior manager, who had confirmed everything multiple times. And unfortunately, we had a similar experience with a previous phone order. So...probably not again, despite the really good food. What a shame! Hartmann/Beckh

We had a fantastic experience at Restaurant Meteora today. The authentic and creative cuisine was a true delight, and the service was impeccable. The staff was extremely friendly, and all the dishes were perfectly coordinated and served simultaneously. The Dover sole deserves special mention – highly recommended! Overall, a first-class culinary experience that we can wholeheartedly recommend. 5 stars! We're back again today. Everything was excellent once more.

A very nice restaurant, spaciously furnished, delicious food, friendly service. The chairs are very comfortable and spaced far apart. Dogs are welcome. The portions are large and beautifully presented.

We had suzukakia and gyros with calamari. The food was significantly more delicious than average, with a special mention for the calamari. The music was a bit loud at times, but the friendly server immediately complied with our request to turn it down. We also commend the clean and pleasant restrooms.

We celebrated our son's christening at Meteora with about 40 guests – simply perfect! The team was incredibly helpful; we were allowed to decorate the evening before and received excellent advice. The appetizer platters and the à la carte dishes were delicious, and everything was served piping hot. Our highlight: the Meteora Spritz; all the guests loved it! For me, it's definitely the best Greek restaurant in the area.

Yesterday, we were a large group (22 people) at the restaurant (we had a reservation) and originally wanted to have a pleasant evening. The waiter assigned to us not only completely ruined our evening but also acted unlawfully. Example 1: We specifically asked if turkey schnitzel was available for the two children. We were told it was. When the food arrived, we immediately realized it was pork schnitzel, not turkey. When we asked about it, the waiter, with somewhat aggressive gestures, replied, "We only serve pork schnitzel." We were then charged for it. Example 2: One person ordered taramasalata as an appetizer. The appetizer arrived at the very end, after the main courses. When we asked if we could at least have some bread with it, we were told, "Bread costs extra." No one in our group asked if it cost extra; they simply asked if bread was available. Example 2: In addition, it took a full 120 minutes for all the food to arrive. Some people who arrived after us had already left before we even received our meals. One person from our group stormed out of the restaurant in a huff for these and other reasons. When the bill came, we were charged for the pork schnitzel we hadn't ordered and the taramasalata that arrived late. There was even some arguing and discussion with us. This restaurant is absolutely not recommended, especially because service and friendliness are practically nonexistent.

We are regulars but this time we were very disappointed. The gyros and the squid were very dry and carelessly prepared. The worm was in there. Our disappointment was dismissed by the waiter with a simple “It’s okay,” which didn’t exactly make us feel confident. At a price of 135 euros for three adults and two children (without starter or dessert), we unfortunately now think twice about whether another visit is worthwhile. :(

I was the first customer and the service staff had a bad attitude. The Turkish service staff in the Turkish restaurant don't seem to want to talk to you. They sit by the door and try to change seats. They have diarrhea after eating. This is the first time in seven days in Germany

Very, very good food in a nice atmosphere. The pita bread here is extremely tasty and the meat was juicy, not dry at all. I also like the fact that you can order vegetables instead of rice or fries with your grill plate. The service staff was also very courteous and attentive.

We were there yesterday as a three-generation family. We received a very warm welcome and were treated throughout the evening. From small (ordered the wrong dish and immediately received a great alternative on the house) to old (wheelchair and dementia). Thank you very much for the delicious food, but especially for the warm service!

Seriously disappointed: A friend at the table ordered a small portion of Suvlaki with rice, which the boss brought with fries and a normal portion. After complaining, the plate was taken away again amidst loud swearing and the ordered food was brought. A normal portion was collected. Another person at the table ordered and received a small beer and was charged a normal small beer. The waiter confirmed that he had blown a whistle. After trying to explain this to the boss, we were turned away from the restaurant. According to the boss, there is no small whistle. They won't see us again either. Complete rip off. The boss and his head waiter were arrogant and unfriendly, only the waiter who brought the drinks was friendly.

For me, purely in terms of taste, it's the best Greek restaurant in Gröbenzell. Food and portion size 1 A, very tasty and everything was very clean. Prices are ok, but not cheap either. Located directly on the S-Bahn with a beautiful, large covered terrace, which is filled with guests when the weather is good. Service is good, but if you sit in the corner it can take a little longer to get noticed. No children's playground or similar available.

One of the best if not the best Greek restaurant you can find in Germany. With excellent flavors and dishes that take you on a journey to Greece. The staff are helpful and polite, willing to serve you but also fully informed as far as the menu is concerned. The space is exceptionally decorated with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I highly recommend it to everyone.
