The boss is super nice. He cares about your eating situation and can communicate with you in English. He also gave you a plate of secret sauce. Like it 👍
Gürkan's Dönearle changed my life! The best kebab in Nördlingen – no, in all of Germany! The meat is tender like butter, the sauce is a true masterpiece and the portion is huge! The service? It couldn't be friendlier! It feels like you are eating in paradise. If you've never been here, you've missed the real kebab wonder! Absolutely legendary – 1000% recommended!
Hammer! I would have expected something like that in Berlin but not in Catholic Bavaria. Very good shop. Delicious flatbreads, well a little small, you have to eat two to be full. Good music and nice people there, whether guests or staff. I immediately felt at home. You do Bavaria a credit. Greetings from the Waterkant
We were only in Nördlingen briefly and for lunch. Food was very good. And even though we came on Schnitzel Day and it was really full, we were given a table for two without prior notice and a 3-minute wait. Homemade ketchup. Price/performance ratio also fits here.
Update September 4th, 2024:
Gyros and calamari were okay too. The latter is probably breaded itself, but I assume that the calamari is frozen food. I think the portion is a bit small. Unfortunately there was no nightcap on the house today either. Apparently it doesn't always exist.
I had the best gyros here in a long time! Huge pieces, and deliciously crispy 😋 I ate a gyros plate with souvlaki. Souvlaki was okay, but not nearly as tasty as the gyro. The side dish was braised green beans and potatoes and boiled rice. And a tzatziki with lots of garlic! Sitting outside in the beer garden is very comfortable under the trees and away from the hustle and bustle. There was a small salad for the main course and a nightcap on the house at the end. The owner greets every guest personally, and overall there was a (hospitable) friendly atmosphere here. Next time I'll just eat gyros here 😊
