Update September 4th, 2024: Gyros and calamari were okay too. The latter is probably breaded itself, but I assume that the calamari is frozen food. I think the portion is a bit small. Unfortunately there was no nightcap on the house today either. Apparently it doesn't always exist. I had the best gyros here in a long time! Huge pieces, and deliciously crispy 😋 I ate a gyros plate with souvlaki. Souvlaki was okay, but not nearly as tasty as the gyro. The side dish was braised green beans and potatoes and boiled rice. And a tzatziki with lots of garlic! Sitting outside in the beer garden is very comfortable under the trees and away from the hustle and bustle. There was a small salad for the main course and a nightcap on the house at the end. The owner greets every guest personally, and overall there was a (hospitable) friendly atmosphere here. Next time I'll just eat gyros here 😊

There is always fantastic food and the beer garden also invites you to linger. The stuffed vegetarian aubergine, which is available from time to time or other specials (see daily menu!), is particularly great. Thanks Ianni!

Exciting chef, Greek specialties like in Greece, not effeminate or adapted, really authentic Greek cuisine, Zorbas is a must every time in Nördlingen...

Even after years of absence, you immediately feel at home again. Janni and his team are the warmest hosts you could imagine. The food was great like before, quickly on the table and simply delicious. The prices are still more than reasonable, the boss and the waitress take care of the guests without any ifs and buts, even when the house is full. The best Greek cuisine within a 30 KM radius. Thank you and I'll definitely be back more often in the future.

Ich kann die ganzen positiven Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Vielleicht liegt es am Mangel von anderen Griechen in Nördlingen, aber vielleicht hatte ich auch einfach Pech. Leider hat das Warten aufs Essen ewig gedauert und das was ankam war maximal Standard. Der Salat kommt definitiv aus einem Eimer vom Großhandel. Das Ambiente ist sehr einfach und laut. Da gibt rs leider anderswo viel bessere Griechen… sorry!

The owner Janni and his daughter were wonderful hosts. Great service and exceptional food. I must say the freshly grilled calamari was out of this world and I have been globe trotting to many countries in my lifetime where the calamari is served directly from the ocean! Thank for the lovely prosecco present and a big thankyou for making my birthday memorable. XXX. PS: I shall be back!

Eigentlich war es ein netter Abend. Bedienung freundlich und Fleisch war gut. Nur mein Zaziki war wohl hinüber und bescherte mir 2 Tage und Nächte Brechdurchfall. Ich meinte noch er schmeckt sauer aber meine Begleitungen meinten er sei gut. Die ham auch nix bekommen. Ich weiß es zu schätzen dass der Chefkoch uns persönlich gefragt hat wie das essen war, leider war sein auftreten nicht gerade das angenehmste. Er war lieb und freundlich, ein frisches tshirt zum Auftritt bei den Gästen hätte aber wirklich gut getan.

Obwohl wir schon länger nichtmehr da waren, war es wieder einmal sehr Gut. Die Gastfreundschaft von Yanni ist unübertroffen, der Service fix und aufmerksam, das Essen, Gyros und Garnelen, einfach nur lecker und das Ambiente echt griechisch! Jederzeit wieder! Hwradw jetzt in der Biergartenzeit immer einen Besuch wert!

Freundliches Personal bis hin zum Koch. Essen und Preise angemessen. Biergarten ist angenehm. Die Herrentoilette ist gewöhnungsbedürftig.

Hier sind noch Gastronomen mit Herz dabei. Absolut herausragendes Essen, super nette und schnelle Bedienung. Scheint sehr familiär und freundschaftlich zu sein.

Sehr leckeres Essen & wirklich gemütliches Ambiente. Was aber besonders in Erinnerung bleibt, ist der sehr nette Besitzer und die unendliche liebe männliche Bedienung. Bei Jani fühle ich mich immer wie zuhause. Essen und Service gut. Der Garten erinnert an eine Taverne in einem kleinen Dorf in Griechenland.

Griechische Taverne. Biergarten unter Bäumen. Genial. Die große Platte mit allem. Übervoll und im Geschmack hervorragend. Calamari in einer Größe und Zubereitungsform, wie in Bayern noch nicht gegessen. Ein kleiner Geheimtipp, bei freundlichem Personal und einem urigen Chef. Gerne wieder.

Super Essen und Trinken. Aber Chef kriegt Trinkgeld selber. Man muss an die Kellner/in extra abgeben. Wenn sie beim zahlen essen und Trinkgeld zusammen zahlen Kellner/in bekommt keine Trinkgeld. Sonst alles Super. Gerne nochmal.

Toller Chef, super entspannte Stimmung! Mega leckeres Essen! Vorallem das Männerbrot schmeckte meinen Jungs so gut wie kein anderes Brot bisher!
