Very nicely decorated, good service and good dishes. We ate homemade Maultaschen with potato salad and mixed salad.

An Italian in Germany looking for a place to eat well with the possibility of tasting typical dishes will be happy in this restaurant. We took the schnitzel, which was served with a generous portion of chips and a nice salad, and the sliced ​​beef which was served with a cabbage puree and spazzles. Both dishes are definitely fantastic. We also got a very good medium beer. Super recommended!

Compact menu limited to a few but well-prepared dishes. We liked classics such as the solid and extremely tasty combination of crusted roast, roast beef, spaetzle and dumplings as well as the surprisingly prepared vegetable variation with chicken breast from the oven. Recommended!

Enjoyed 4 different dishes today. Very tasty and wonderfully prepared. Homemade lemonade is also recommended. The service is extremely friendly and attentive. The special request (gluten-free) was implemented wonderfully. The espresso after the meal was excellent; We only know it from Italian restaurants. Unfortunately we weren't very impressed with the food as it was a bit bland. Unfortunately the children didn't like it at all. The restaurant scored points for service and ambience!

What can you say? Whoever cooks here not only knows their craft, they do it with love and passion and you can taste it :) These were the best Maultaschen of my life. The taste and aromas harmonized perfectly, everything was homemade and of the best quality. The only point of criticism is perhaps the price (as of 2024), which at €17.50 is almost a bit too low for a portion of this size and this outstanding quality =) We were here for the second time yesterday on the 2nd evening in Nördlingen and it was again completely successful and delicious. The Bavarian schnitzel with mustard-horseradish breading was fresh, homemade and the flavors of mustard and horseradish in the breading were nicely balanced. The French fries Dauphin were made from homemade mashed potatoes and had a wonderful nutmeg and butter taste. Even the homemade ketchup surpasses all previously purchased ketchups by far!! The service is fast, attentive, friendly and the food came quickly both times despite the restaurant being full. Certainly one of the best restaurants I have visited in Germany so far.

Good cuisine, here you can get very good German cuisine that tastes better than anywhere else. As if grandma cooked herself on Sundays. And there are fine international dishes. If I ever come to Nördlingen again, I know where I will go to eat. Until then, please exchange your Pernod for a Ricard. ;-)

Wir kennen das Restaurant schon und wissen, dass man hier gut isst. Das war auch gestern Abend der Fall. Allerdings war die Bedienung noch relativ unerfahren, vergaß das Brot und fragte bei einer Steakbestellung nicht nach der Garstufe. Ansonsten war das Personal freundlich und bemüht. Die haben allerdings auch ihren Preis dort.

Very kind and pleasant service, the ladies welcomed us with a smile and it didn't leave them the whole time. The food was excellent and my daughter, for whom meat is the basis, even preferred the arugula salad to the meat and mushrooms. This is perhaps the first time in her life that she subsequently praised the salad the most. The environment is beautiful and ideal for sitting in the evening with a glass of wine.

Da es schönes Wetter war, wurde vom Gastgeber für uns ein Tisch draußen reserviert. Leider sitzt man dann auf dem Gehweg, nur wenige Zentimeter weiter laufen Passanten vorbei, einen Meter weiter fährt der Verkehr. Ist Geschmackssache, wir hätten dort nicht sitzen wollen, aber wir waren eingeladen. Ich schreibe das, weil das der Besucher wissen sollte. Service wie immer bestens! Da kann man gar nichts sagen. Das Essen hat meiner Frau sehr gut geschmeckt. Mir leider nicht. Ich fand es total misslungen, das Fleisch langweilig gewürzt und nicht auf den gewünschten Punkt gebraten, die Zwiebeln nicht rösch, sondern lätschig und sie schmeckten bitter. Nun ja, ist ja alles Geschmackssache, aber so war es halt nach meinem Empfinden. Wie bewertet man nun als Paar, das völlig gegensätzlich empfunden hat?

Absolutely delicious and imaginative cuisine with fresh and high-quality ingredients. Very creative and appetizingly served. A real treat at an acceptable price.

Unfortunately, we were being served by a very unfriendly waitress last Friday... We went there in a group of six, mostly non-German speaking. The young waitress who served us appeared to be rather annoyed with us for the whole evening and showed no patience when she did not understand our order in English. She also questioned us for ordering too little food. The restaurant was not busy while we were there (quite a lot of empty seats). The particular waitress was mostly chatting with her fellow waitresses and eating and drinking behind the bar when she did not need to serve customers. Therefore, I could not see the reason of 'stress' as a reason for her rudeness. The food also did not make up for the experience. I was expecting traditional German Maultaschen but turned out to be four giant Italian-like raviolis with un-yummy gravy sauce that went with them. The French fries in the Schnitzel were dried like hell. The rest of the food such as the beef, the Spaghetti and the starters were so-so. Nothing was impressive. Would rather go to ,Blaue Glocke' for authentic German food or ,Meyers Keller' for fancy food. At least you feel welcomed in these places and would not embarrassed yourself in front of your guests by a pissed-face waitress! p.s. We still tipped the waitress at the end but she did not seem to be pleased with the amount we gave her. Even my guests asked me if the waitress was cross!

We had dinner at this restaurant and we were able to enjoy a fantastic time. The service is excellent, the food, with seasonal dishes, quality and well presented. Furthermore, they are served generously. I would definitely repeat the experience.

Good authentic restaurant with great service

Here, in an upscale location in the city, the warm homely atmosphere, style, good taste and fine food come together. The view of the city tower completes the cosiness of the city and the restaurant. It was “just bad”

We ate there twice in a row. The smoked tartare is world class. Likewise the in-house complex dessert, the one with barley malt ice cream and marjoram oil. The main courses were more than sumptuous for our taste. Anything less wouldn't have made us sad. The prices are more than reasonable for this level. We are used to different things.

Wir waren für das Stabenfest und das Bahnjubiläum im Mai 2024 in Nördlingen und waren auch beim Kleibels über Mittag essen. Alls war sehr gut und wir können das Kleibels nur weiter empfehlen un empfehlen speziell die Maultaschen und die Nachspeisen.

Very tasty and beautifully prepared

After a lovely day in Nördlingen we came here for dinner. Both dishes (the spare ribs and osso buco from the daily menu) were excellent. I would also like to highlight the very nice service, which is really no longer a given these days. Thank you for the lovely end to a lovely day.

Das Lokal hat einen vorzüglichen Namen.. dementsprechend hatte ich große Erwartungen . Mein Hauptgang hatte ich mir Maultaschen ausgesucht.. sie waren wirklich sehr gut jedoch habe ich das gewisse.. nimm mich mit..! Vermisst. Der Service war sehr freundlich. Wir kommen wieder… Danke

The restaurant does what is promised on the website. Very friendly service, top quality food and a very appealing atmosphere. Slow food from the region, Franconian classics and also dishes with an Asian flavor are top notch. Small card that leaves nothing out.

The Kleibls is an alternative to the usual home-style restaurants in Nördlingen. All dishes are prepared a little differently than usual. Creative cuisine! If you want real Bavarian cuisine, you've come to the wrong place. Overall, really good quality and great service. We were there with 15 people and the service managed it very well. The location is very central in Nördlingen. Parking is a matter of luck, there are no dedicated parking spaces.

Today we were guests in the restaurant with 6 people. We ordered onion roast four times, ravioli once and Bavarian-style schnitzel. The ambience was great at first, but as the number of guests increased, the volume changed towards the station economy. Now to rate the food. Of the 4 medium onion roasts I ordered, one was almost cooked through and two others were only lukewarm. At the end of the meal only the fries and the spaetzle were still warm. The vegetables...broccoli and cauliflower were also only lukewarm at the beginning. The portion of ravioli......good, but if anyone is hungry, please order 2 portions. The schnitzel is a large portion, but quite horseradish-heavy. Conclusion: at these prices we would have expected more, at least warm dishes in the "medium" version we ordered (onion roast) and a sufficient portion (ravioli)...but also warmed plates, which are common in restaurants in this price range. But “see and be seen” probably also applies here. Repetition factor: zero... then I'd rather have a good pizza from an Italian restaurant. This is a subjective opinion... I recommend going to the restaurant and having your own experience.

It was a great New Year's Eve, gladly again.

Wir waren am 21. Dezember mit der Praxis zum Weihnachtsessen im Restaurant Kleibls. Wieder einmal hat alles rundum gepasst. Das Essen hat, wie immer, sehr gut geschmeckt und war ansprechend angerichtet. Die hausgemachte Limonade und die Aperitifs ebenfalls ein Augen- und Gaumenschmaus. Wir gehen schon seit Jahren hierher: egal, ob Geburtstag, Hochzeitstag, Weihnachtsessen oder einfach nur so. Wir wurden bisher nie enttäuscht! Für Vegetarier ebenfalls geeignet, da es genügend Auswahl auf der Speisekarte gibt. Auch der Service war stets aufmerksam egal, ob man drinnen oder draußen (mit Blick auf den Daniel) sitzt. Es ist wirklich erstaunlich, was aus der ehemaligen Schlecker Filiale entstanden ist. Ganz großes Lob! Absolute Weiterempfehlung. Wir kommen jederzeit gerne wieder.

Das Keibl versucht, in Nördlingen kulinarisch Akzente zu setzen, das schafft es nur bedingt. Mir fehlt etwas der Pfiff in den Gerichten, der Stempel des Chefkoches, der bereits beim Gedanken an nächsten Besuch die Geschmackknospen anregt. Wir reden hier schon von Cuisine, also preislich gehobener Küche. Ich konnte 5 Hauptgerichte und 2 Vorspeisen der aktuellen Karte probieren. Highlight: Filet vom Waller an Tagliatelle (5 von 5) No-Go: Schnitzel „Bayrische Art“ (2 von 5) Die anderen Gerichte schwanken dann zwischen 3 (Kraftbrühe mit Maultasche, Zwiebelrostbraten) und 4 (Kürbis-Cremesuppe, Rinderfilet in Pfeffersoße). Das Lokal ist sehr einladend und sauber. Die Wein- und Spirtuosenkarte ausbaufähig. 3.5 Sterne.

In Form unserer Firmenjahresabschlussfeier durften wir einen wundervollen Abend im Kleibls erleben. Unser 5-Gang-Menü war überraschend und total lecker. Der Service absolut auf Zack und äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Ambiente ist super gemütlich und stilvoll. Immer wieder gerne.

Das Ambiente ist gut, aber die Küche hat nicht überzeugt. Wer Tafelspitz bestellt hat eine gewisse Vorstellung was er geschmacklich bekommt. Nicht aber hier. Von den zwei Scheiben Rindfleisch war nur eine zart rosa gegart die zweite war so fest das ich Mühe hatte sie zu schneiden. Der Geschmack war recht fad genau so wie das Kartoffelgratin.

Wir haben ein Lokal gesucht, in dem man sich in angenehmer Atmosphäre aufhalten, lecker essen und gut unterhalten kann. Unsere Erwartungen wurden in allen Belangen übertroffen! Perfekter Service, zuvorkommendes Personal, feinstes und qualitativ hochwertiges Essen und angenehmer Geräuschpegel und angenehme Raumtemperatur. Einfach rundum zum Wohlfühlen und Genießen! Absolut zu empfehlen!!! Top! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Schönes Restaurant mit klassischen aber auch außergewöhnlichen Gerichten und kunstfertigen Nachspeisen. Gute Weinauswahl. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt.

Trotz ausgebuchtem Restaurant haben wir einen Tisch an der Bar ergattern können. (Reservierung am Wochenende empfehlenswert.) Das Personal war sehr bemüht und freundlich. Das Essen war tadellos. Besonders der Umgang und die Beratung bei Unverträglichkeiten hat mich positiv überrascht. Selbst bei dem Gruß aus der Küche wurde etwas extra gebacken. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Wow , what a suprise to find such a high end quality restaurant on our recent visit to Nördlingen. We googled for reviews and the venue did not disappoint. The fish and pasta dishes were beautifully prepared and delicious. Desserts were also amazing. We don’t mind paying good money for excellent food and dining experience and would definitely return here when next visiting family in Germany. Highly recommend.
