We spontaneously went out to eat here on a Saturday evening following a recommendation. I think this restaurant is the only place in Munich where you don't have to make a reservation 3 weeks in advance. The food was delicious and very selected. Picky eaters probably won't be happy here and anyone who doesn't want to eat typical Greek food either - you just have to know that. The service was totally fine and the waiting times for the food were pleasant. All in all, some of our group were more satisfied than others, which is why I think 4 stars is appropriate. A little tip: it's probably worth ordering mainly starters in terms of price and, above all, taste and sharing them in a 'tapas' style.

I don't usually write reviews, but in this case, I would strongly advise against eating there. While the staff was friendly, there's nothing wrong with that. However, after eating a Dürum, I got severe stomach pain, and it wasn't just temporary. I've been suffering from this for almost two days now. The others in my group who ate the same dish reported similar symptoms. Whether it was due to poor hygiene, spoiled ingredients, or something else is unclear, but the health consequences speak for themselves.

The team is always friendly, attentive and extremely competent. You feel completely welcome and well looked after, which is particularly important for us as long-standing customers. For us, the Platzwirt is not just a restaurant, but a place where we have celebrated many special moments. Whether celebrating a birthday or another occasion – we know that we will always be well looked after and have an unforgettable evening.

I love the food there, so it was not my first time there. But this time the service was very rude. His overreaction over request for extra chopsticks and spoon was weird. Plus why xiaolongbao was served without soya sauce. And yeah after reading all the comments, I think he also wasn’t happy when we ordered extra food, after we saw how small the portions were. Plus I’m not sure if it was just their weirdness over extra requests or he treated non-Asians very politely, opposite to how he treated us. For packing leftover food they basically gave us plastic bag, when a German customer before us had her order in paper container. Ah maybe I don’t remember him being rude on my first visit because I was with Germans. Anyway not recommended. The food honestly not worth it.

Best place to start a greek love. Great gavros dish. Try the hallomy chees. And you must drink the Ouso. They are the best here.

Some well-known chef once said that the most attractive restaurants in a city are those that are among the best in the city but are below a Michelin star. Here we have one of those things: a great menu that is a real joy, a great wine list and very friendly service. What more could you want? Strong recommendation

Super busy, small restaurant with a very friendly owner. Doesn't feel like Munich, mixed crowd and great atmosphere for a variety of occasions!

Sober, modern ambience. A bit noisy. The menu was okay, but unfortunately unspectacular; it wasn't really possible to change a single course... :( Unfortunately, there were no real culinary eye-openers among the courses. Service was okay. So, unfortunately, not Michelin-star quality! Therefore, the price-performance ratio is unfortunately not right.

Very quaint restaurant. We were greeted warmly and our place suited us well. The drinks came quickly. However, it actually took 25 minutes before we were allowed to order our food. However, it came quite quickly and was also very nice!

This place is a little insider tip for anyone who appreciates good food and personalized service! The food here combines traditional ingredients with new and unfamiliar ingredients, which is truly exciting for the palate. I'd definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant!
