Thanks for the lovely evening! Very tasty food, friendly service and nice atmosphere. Prices are appropriate for this.

Very cozy atmosphere and friendly service. The food is good to very good, but in our opinion slightly overpriced. The small room makes it very loud and the open kitchen makes you smell like an incense stick after your visit, which spoils the overall impression a bit.

The dishes are presented orally (without mentioning prices). Everything tasted very good, especially the desserts. There is also no wine list; people trust the waiter. Here too we were not disappointed. The prices are humane, €60 per person including tip for 3 courses with wine and water. The kitchen is not separated and the light is very bright. That was the only thing that wasn't so pleasant. We'd love to come back!

Totally cool restaurant with a very friendly waiter. There are only a few dishes to choose from, but they are extremely tasty. There is a star deduction because we had to wait a relatively long time for our food. The two couples who ordered with us were served faster.

We had dinner at Benko Restaurant today and chose the appetizer platter. This included a selection of vitello tonnato, couscous salad with prawn, burrata with pesto, ham, grilled vegetables, with scamorza (or similar smoked cheese) priced at €30. The highlight of the platter was the variety of dishes on offer. We didn't like the burrata, it was just solid! Burrata shouldn't be like that, it should be nice and creamy on the inside. That spoiled our enjoyment a bit. The ambience in the restaurant is very inviting, especially the indoor area which seems cozy and nice for a romantic dinner. Outside the tables were a bit small, which slightly affected the convenience. Another positive feature is the concept: offering fresh dishes every day, prepared from current market products. This makes for innovative cuisine, but is less suitable for vegans as there is no fixed menu and no vegan options. Although the food was okay overall, unfortunately nothing in particular will persuade us to pay another visit to Benko.

+ Great food and delicious wine. - Absolutely not child-friendly, no high chairs, no children's portions (or it came incredibly late and was very expensive), service seemed visibly annoyed and hardly tried. - The whole evening dragged on incredibly, we arrived at 7 p.m. and received the main course at 9:15 p.m.! Even without a child and despite the starter, that's really too long of a wait. --} If you're traveling with children, it's better to look for another restaurant, everyone else bon appetit!

A nice little restaurant with a cozy atmosphere and fantastic food. Above all, the fish and the wine were our highlights. We found the prices to be very reasonable for the quality. The service was also very friendly. Thank you for the lovely evening. Attention: You can only pay in cash.

Fresh ingredients, great new taste experiences, a select small selection of dishes combined with an energetic, radiant restaurateur. The ambience is atmospheric and yet invitingly casual. Bravo! P.S. Tried to book a table for four people last week and this week via Whatsapp, as they recommend on their website. No results. Awful experience. On top of it, they accept cash payment only. Be aware of it.

Great restaurant! Direct supplies of watermelons and roach from Astrakhan. Tables in the form of vintage school desks. I liked everything.

Unfortunately the food is very low low quality and really quite bad. We had the truffle pasta, which had no taste at all, the steak was drowning in fat and the meat of low quality. Additionally the menu did not have and prices on it. the result is a high bill in the end paired with really bad food. Also be aware: cash only. Service and Atmosphere was good. Unfortuantely the food is not okish. It is straightforward bad!!

We had dinner at Benko for the first time yesterday and were very impressed. The service was great and the ambience is very nice and not loud at all, even though the shop is very small but insulation material was installed everywhere and it shows. The food was good, the wine too and we will definitely come again if the menu has changed because yesterday there wasn't something for all of us. All in all a clear recommendation, definitely try it out.

Benko is a real discovery in Maxvorstadt. Here the philosophy of the small but fine daily menu is lived, presented and recommended at the table. Class instead of mass main station. Surrounded by the humor and friendliness of the attentive boss and his team, my dream of a fantastic menu centered around a buttery entrecote came true. The lovingly designed small guest room is the perfect romantic place for a candlelight dinner.

Incredible Restaurant!! Super cozy and not too many tables. Make sure to get a table booked weeks in advance. There is no real menu - only a handful recommendations each day. A rare place in Munich with good food quality and an excellent host. The indoor area is small and cozy, and during summer you can chill & dine outside on the street, which adds another nice atmosphere. The menu is minimal but the selection is great!

Das wohl vollendetste Restaurant München. Perfekter Service mit frisch gekochten Speisen. Der Blick in die Küche verrät, dass ein Profi am Werk ist. Wir sind alle paar Wochen dort und jedes Mal verlässt man das Restaurant mit einem Lächeln und glücklichen Gefühl! Tipp: Tisch reservieren, da es oft ausgebucht ist von Stammgästen. Love it!

Ein Erlebnis :) Das Restaurant lebt von einer sehr ausgewählten „Karte“ sowohl bei Essen als auch Getränken. Es gibt keine Karte, stattdessen werden Vorspeise, Hauptspeise vom Besitzer vorgetragen. In unserem Fall gab es ja 3 Optionen zur Auswahl. Die Hauptspeise hat uns sehr geschmeckt. Der Außenbereich gefällt mir sehr, auch wenig Verkehr und dadurch recht ungestört. Reservieren ist empfehlenswert.

Cozy, informal restaurant with candle lit outdoor tables that exude a lovely atmosphere. We were served a delicious bread with olive oil upon arrival. There is no fixed menu as it changes on a daily basis and is cooked fresh. In general, there is a selection of 2-3 starters and 3 main dishes. The main dishes include a vegetarian, fish and meat option - something for everyone. The mixed starter was delicious and rich in choice: perfectly cooked prawns, fresh burrata, tuna tataki, a fluffy pea frittata, olives, couscous, etc. The main of perfectly cooked salmon on a bed of roasted baby potatoes and vegetables was scrumptious. The cooking is great and the quality of ingredients used is high. A main attraction is the outgoing and engaging host. He is loud, opinionated and his humor can split the crowd: either you find him entertaining, or you think his jokes are inappropriate and rude. I would tend to the latter, which is the only reason for the star deduction. A bit too much personality and used in a heavy handed manner that was not always very considered or kind. Bear in mind, that this restaurant only accepts cash and that the prices are on the higher end.

Es war ein wunderschöner Abend, wir saßen draußen auf der Straße, haben hervorragend gegessen, eine schöne Vorspeise, köstliche Ravioli, ein perfektes Entrecote und das Desert war dee Hammer und ein sehr freundlicher Wirt und eine nette Bedienung. Da wollen wir wieder hin.

Super Essen, speziell der Fisch. Sehr selten so einen guten Fisch in München serviert bekommen. Service immer Top, schnell, aufmerksam und immer freundlich. Was wünscht man sich mehr für einen entspannten Abend.

Wir waren gestern Abend spontan da und haben durch Zufall noch einen Platz bekommen. Bestes Restaurant in dem ich seit langem war. Die Bedienung war grandios, selten so guten und freundlichen Service erlebt. Die Atmosphäre dort ist fantastisch und das Essen (wir hatten Vor-, Haupt- und Nachspeise) super lecker!!!

Für mich ist Benko mit Abstand Lieblingsrestaurant in München. Sehr gutes Essen in tolles Atmosphäre. Man wird als Gast von Abdel sehr herzlich empfangen. Es gibt eine täglich wechselnde Karte das den Besuch umso spannender macht.

Unkompliziert und einfach (im positiven Sinne), schöne Atmosphäre, gutes Essen und Wein. Jedes Mal wieder haben wir einen tollen Abend. Der Service vom Chef persönlich trägt auch zum leichten, lustigen Abend bei :) Absolute Empfehlung für einen Abend mit Freunden oder für ein Date!!!

Wirklich eine Empfehlung. Super entspanntes Restaurant. Hier hat man nicht die Qual der Wahl. Der Chef fragt direkt Wein, rot, weiss, Rose. Fisch Fleisch Pasta. Zack das war's. Freundschaftliche Atmosphäre super lecker essen. Hier hat man ein anderes Gastro Erlebnis. Kommen gerne wieder.

Wir waren schon öfter im Benko zum Essen und es war immer top! Die Vorspeisenplatte ist suuper lecker und die verschiedenen Hauptgerichte auch! Es gibt leckeres Brot mit Olivenöl als Starter. Auch die Atmosphäre und die Menschen dort sind sehr angenehm und herzlich. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Mein absolutes Lieblingsrestaurant in Maxvorstadt. Ausgezeichnetes Essen, für jeden was dabei. Die Karte wechselt ständig.

Wir hatten zu viert eine Vorspeisenplatte und jeder ein Pastagericht. Speisekarte gibt es keine, die Auswahl an alkoholfreien Getränken war klein. Man sitzt schön und ruhig an einer Straßenecke. Es gibt jeden Tag eine andere Auswahl an Gerichten. Es waren bei unserem Besuch zwei Pastagerichte, eines mit Fisch, eines mit Fleisch. Das Essen war lecker. Die Bedienung in Ordnung.

Von vorne bis hinten rund. Zauberhaft freundlicher Empfang, schöne Speisenauswahl und sehr angenehm gechillte Stimmung. Eine liebe Freundin hat mich dorthin eingeladen und ich muss jetzt noch vor mich hinlächeln, weil es wirklich ein schöner Abend mit tollem Essen war. Ich komme sicher wieder! Achso und wer braucht schon eine Karte, wenn man sich wunderbar überraschen lassen kann 🍀

Einfach ein nettes kleines Lokal mit unschlagbar guten essen. Es gibt keine Speisekarte, aber immer Fleisch, Fisch und ein vegetarisches Gericht. Auch die Vorspeisen waren vorzüglich, man muss den chef einfach machen lassen und sich darauf einlassen

Wer mal wieder mit seiner Freundin, einem guten Arbeitskollegen oder ein romantisches Dinner plant, der sollte mal im Benko vorbeischauen. Sauklein, richtig schnuckelig! Es gibt nicht mal eine Karte, die Menükarte wird einem mündlich vorgetragen, was an sich schon einen Charme hat. Es gab an dem Abend zwei erlesene Weißweine zur Auswahl, meiner war extrem lecker. Ich hatte das wahnsinnig leckere vegetarische Gericht, hätte mir nachher aber gewünscht, das Fleischgericht genommen zu haben, nachdem ich von Anderen mitbekommen habe, wie lecker das Fleisch war. Reservierung erforderlich und Bezahlung nur in Cash.

Das Restaurant lebt fast ausschließlich vom Theater des Chefs, viel Bussy-Getue, wär's mag. Das Essen selbst überteuert, sehr eingeschränkte Auswahl, intransparente Preisgestaltung, aber vor allem sehr durchschnittliche Qualität der Speisen. Mein Entrcote war zäh, die Nudelspeisen der Freunde waren auch eher schwach. Das Sitzen im Freien ist sehr beengt und unbequem.

Spannende Location: sehr klein und gemütlich; spannendes Konzept: Es gibt keine Karte; der Service erzählt, was frisch vom Markt gekauft wurde und was man entsprechend anbieten könne. Die Qualität des Essens ist sehr gut. Ein gelungener Abend!
