High quality Tapas, very delicious! Partly new interpretations of well-known dishes in creative way. The spicy Margarita and the wines served were exceptionally good, too. Absolutely great place, well done folks! Sole thing I'd like to see changed - offer with mixed tapas plate for one guest, only, would be great, too.

We were here on Sunday and everything was perfect here. The food is simply fantastically good. For each course of the tapas menu for three, we were explained where the food came from (many small businesses) and what the special features were. I'm usually very picky about cheese, but for the first time I found nothing wrong with any of the six or so cheeses and enjoyed them. Everything else was just really delicious. We were both absolutely thrilled with all the dishes. So excited that we ate more than our hunger wanted, but there was no other way ;) The service was also simply top notch. You rarely experience such attentive, service-oriented and friendly service in Munich. For us, the whole evening felt like we were guests of friends and not just in a restaurant. Big praise to the chef and buyer, as well as to the service. Everyone really knows their craft here! P.S. A star deduction for the ambience solely because the outdoor area is separated by the sidewalk (bar garden and tables on the wall of the building). The operator can't help it and it's usual in Munich, but it's not "perfect", like the food and service.

Very nice restaurant/bar with delicious tapas. However, very expensive: a small bowl of fried tofu for almost €10 is quite a number... unfortunately that spoiled it a bit. Otherwise really really nice for an aperitif and a little snack, I wouldn't necessarily go there hungry or just for dinner

Ten of us spontaneously went there… the service was super nice and attentive. The tapas were extremely tasty. The various spritzes were also great… Unfortunately, reservations were not possible.

Unspectacular tapas bar and pub that has a standard menu and a large selection of drinks. Almost all of the tapas, served hot and cold, are recommended, although the 'Albóndigas', 'Pimientos del padrón' and the goat cheese with pomegranate and honey are particularly memorable. You can sit nicely inside or outside, but a reservation isn't a bad idea, especially in the evening, as the 'Tío' is then overflowing with students. Sometimes the guest waits a while for their food, but I don't find that dramatic; especially since the totally likeable team always remains charming even in the hectic times. ¡Que aproveche! 🥃🍸

For me the best tapas in Munich! Additionally good wine, nice service, nice terrace - clear recommendation!

After dinner, we had some more drink here such as wine and cocktails in 2nd round. Although we did not order tapas, drink an d service were satisfying with nice weather on top.

We had a lovely evening at Tio - the service was very attentive and our tapas were of impeccable quality. It's nice to sit outside. The gambas al ajillo are worth their price!

It was very nice, the clientele was mixed - unfortunately on our day only crazy people. There were macho guys who said in English that no one here understands them and there were ladies who also talked about strange men's stories and such. I thought I was in trouble and unfortunately I had to listen. Otherwise the service was very good and the food was ok with unfortunately too much garlic (I actually like garlic). Unfortunately the olives were disappointing (completely soft and also too much crunchy). Unfortunately, I have yet to find really good tapas in Munich.

Luckily we found a place on Friday evening. Campari spritz was very tasty. Good selection of warm and cold tapas, including many vegetarian options. The champions' croquetas were super tasty! Everything tasted very tasty 👍🏼.

Great food and the Amareto sour was best cocktail I've ever head. The service was amazing too. Highly recommend!

We Tool Tapas Menu in Tio, even though portions seem small for 3 people, we were full when we left Tio, eveything was delicious, wine was good, staff was super helpful and kind, we will 100% go again!

The food really wasn't tasty AT ALL. The croquettes have a horrible batter, the ham, cheese, and sausage are served cold... it seems that the dishes are already prepared in advance. They have no flavor. Finally it is expensive for the quality =(

We found that the tapas plate for 2, is too small compared to its price. We ordered extra warm tapas with fried octopus and falafel. Especially octopus was delicious. But the tapas plate didn't have anything outstanding. I had higher expections from the reviews and the pictures before going. Overall, everything we ate was good, a bit overpriced. Friendly service.

Great ambience, good service! The food is very tasty, but unfortunately the price-performance ratio is not justified. Unfortunately the portions are very small. The prices simply don't fit. Afterwards we went somewhere else to eat.

Really nice bar, I just went in before closing time so I only had a beer. But the barman was really nice and friendly and it was a nice vibe!

Ob Ziegenkäse, Pinimientos, Rindfleischbällchen oder Tofu knusprig, alles war spanisch, authentisch, köstlich, ehrlich, am Punkt und noch dazu, war das Service so wie man es sich wünscht. Liebe den Laden. Die Tapas sind super lecker und der Service 1A. Die einzelnen Tapas sind zwar etwas teurer aber die Qualität rechtfertigt den Preis. Mit mehr Leuten rentieren sich auch die Tapas-Teller oder das Menü. Das tio eigenet sich auch ideal um nach Feierabend mit Freunden ein paar Getränke zu sich zu nehmen. Die Atmosphäre ist locker und heimisch.

Veganer Tapasteller ist okay, hat aber nicht viel mit Tapas zu tun. Knoblauchzehen bei den Oliven auf keinen Fall essen

En un mot " Fabuleux"!!! Si je peux recommander un local gastronomique à Munich, c'est bien " TIO"! Une jeune équipe dynamique, incroyablement sympathique et toujours à l'écoute ! Un service de qualité, que se soit au bar ou en salle. Le chef cuisinier qui vient expliquer la composition de ses plats aux clients. Et que dire des tapas... Excellentes combinaisons de plats, un choix très vari, des saveurs incroyables. Il est clair que tout est préparé avec Amour! Et puis , pour couronner tout cela, l'équipe est multilinguale ! A recommander absolument!!!

Es war so ein fantastischer Abend und ich möchte dieses zauberhafte Lokal allen Tapas Wein und Cocktail Liebhabern wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Das Essen war so besonders und lecker und ihr müsst unbedingt die 5 Gang Tapas Reise probieren. Diese Komposition war einfach nur köstlich. Der Service ist so freundlich, zuvorkommend und unaufdringlich. Das Menü wird im perfekten Tempo serviert und obwohl ich wirklich viel esse wurde ich so satt, dass wir besser auf die Empfehlung des Service gehört hätten. Nicht so viel Brot essen. Und es gibt Gin Basil Smash, mein Lieblingsdrink. Die Location und die Lautstärke der Musik waren auch perfekt. Trotz voll Laden kann man sich angenehm unterhalten.

Wir wollten einfach nur Tapas essen gehen und ich habe uns ein paar Restaurants in München vorab ausgesucht. Die Wahl ist am Ende auf tio gefallen, was vor allem an den Rezensionen liegt. Eine Reservierung war für zwei Personen nicht möglich, allerdings findet man spontan meist einen Platz - zur Not an der Bar. Die Auswahl war goldrichtig. Selten so gut gegessen und die mit Liebe angerichteten Essen waren zwar manchmal nicht "typisch" für Tapas, jedoch dafür richtig lecker. Habe mich sogar als überwiegender Vegetarier zum Serano-Schinken hinreißen zu lassen und für diese gute Qualität mache ich gern eine kleine Ausnahme. Auch die veganen Optionen waren lecker. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Auch der Tipp bezüglich des Weins war top. Einrichtung und musikalische Unterhaltung gefielen uns ebenfalls. Der größte Kritikpunkt, der hier genannt wurde, ist der hohe Preis. Ich sehe das anders. Günstig sind Tapas nie und wenn man auch noch Lebensmittel anbietet, die zum größten Teil Bio-Qualität sind, darf das Endprodukt ruhig etwas kosten. Und hier stimmt schlichtweg so viel, dass ich den Preis angemessen finden. Das Geld sollte man nicht bei Ernährung einsparen, sondern in anderen Bereichen. Wir kommen gern wieder. :-)

Wir sind kurz vor Ladenschluss gekommen und wurde super freundlich empfangen und bedient. Ich kann leider nichts über das Essen sagen und möchte daher zumindest die Lage und den guten Service hervorheben.

Muy buena atención y ambiente en el medio de Maxvorstsadt. Hay algunos platos tipicos españoles que vale la pena probar. Super recomendable el tapas teller por 19 euros. Lejos de una experiencia de tapas en España, pero gran valor por el precio!

We were three people but we ordered 2 person tapas and some hot side meals which was recommended by the waiter. Food was amazing. I learnt that the drinks, syrups, everything were made from scratch by the barmen there. Honestly it's impressive and I would go there again %100 Good service, friendly staff, good food and nice drinks.

Sehr leckere Tapas und Drinks! Besonders zu empfehlen sind auch die Churros mit zwei Dips zum Nachtisch.

Sehr gute vegetarische Tapas. Besonders den Ziegenkäse kann ich empfehlen. Auch Cocktails mit alkoholfreien Rum sind gut.

Very nice tapas place. The five of us had their set menu and everything was delicious. They had a good balance of vegetarian and non vegetarian options. The highlight for me were the grilled goat cheese circles, mwah. Downside was it took forever in between courses. From beginning to end we must have sat there for 3 hours. Hint: sitting on the street side patio may seem nice in theory but the street is loud and smelly in the evening hours

Bier vom Faß, schneller Service. Speisen eine willkommene Abwechslung mit Tapas etwas außerhalb der Reihe. Portionen jedoch zu klein.

Die Tappas sind schon sehr geil. 11€ für ein Gin Tonic eher nicht so.

We went there in a group of five. The tapas restaurant has nice staff to help us seated and gave us plenty of time to think on our order. When serving the dishes, the chef or the staff serving the food explained some details to let us understand what we were enjoying. Nice service. Food are tasty and fresh. Seasoning of jackfruit is just more than perfect. Would love to go again next time.

Ganz nettes Lokal/Bar in der Münchner Maxvorstadt. Der Service war gut, freundlich, bemüht und gut gelaunt, obwohl so gut wie alle Plätze belegt waren. Wir waren nur für ein paar Drinks da, das Essen kann ich daher nicht bewerten (hat aber sehr lecker ausgesehen am Nebentisch). Die Drinks waren auch sehr lecker, allerdings fand ich sie sehr teuer für die Größe der Getränke. Für 'nen kleinen Abstecher auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen.

Friendly staff and cozy envirinment.

QR-Codes statt Speisekarten sind eigentlich eine nette Idee, hat aber ewig nicht funktioniert und eine normale Karte gab's nicht. Als wir bestellt hatten und das Essen nach über einer halben Stunde kam, war es zwar sehr lecker aber bei "Antipastiplatte für zwei 17€" dachten wir nicht dass 17 Euro nur der Preis pro Person ist und dieser kleine Tapasteller eigentlich 34 € kostet. Find den Preis dafür wie wenig da drauf war übertrieben aber das schöne Ambiente hat das bisschen ausgeglichen. Trotzdem nur zwei Sterne weil wir ewig gewartet haben und nicht satt geworden sind.

Sehr leckere Tapas. Da ist für jeden was dabei. Sehr nettes Personal.
