Mio tapas fusion y bar in München

We were in a vermouth event and everything was in my opinion disgusting: - a vermouth (just the liquor) in a plastic glass with an olive and a piece of lemon for 5€. I would understand this price if it would have been a cocktail, but a bottle costs 8€ so I found it incredibly expensive. - the Spanish omelette was from a package, not self cooked. They hadn't any problem with it and they opened the package in front of you. A 1/4 of the omelette with a bit of Ali Oli from a jar and some bread costs 5€. - the music was incredibly loud. Not recommended.

Small bar with a manageable selection of tapas. The croquetas don't deserve the name. The Boquerones are rather salty. In general, as is usual in Spanish restaurants, the prices are reasonable and the quantities are manageable. But praise goes to the waitress, who made an effort to make up for the long waiting time.

Pizza and pasta very tasty. Unfortunately, the meal took a little longer despite the normal number of visitors. Had a nice evening! Aperol 10/10 stars!

The food was very tasty! The waiter friendly and quick. Definitely worth a visit! The Gambas al Ajillo were amazing in terms of quality and taste. The bacon-wrapped dates are super juicy and the bacon is nice and crispy. The octopus (Pulpo a la Gallega) is delicious. We were absolutely surprised by the Croquettqs Iberico, so delicious, definitely try them! The sangria is cinnamon-free and very tasty. It is pleasant to sit but the tables are very small and narrow, so the ambience is deducted.

Small portions, not very attentive service and the price per person without beer or wine was €50 per person. I know food is expensive but at that price the portions could have been bigger in or to want to return or recommend.

The tapas were very tasty, just a bit low for the price. If you're very hungry, you'll need more like 4 per person, which will be very expensive. We had a 6 for 4 tapas voucher and handed it in straight away at the beginning. We were asked several times if we wanted bread, although we had already declined twice. Presumably to save the discount for a more expensive tapas. The voucher was only deducted when we sent the invoice back for correction. The food was really good but service like that is simply impossible, especially when you spend around €35 ​​per person. therefore unfortunately not a recommendation.

Prices on the Internet do not match the prices on the online map. We had to wait a long time for drinks and the bill (the waiter liked to talk to the neighboring waiter). The plate for the paella only came after three requests. In the end there was only an interim bill. After a receipt for entertainment was requested, we were insulted. One item more on the invoice than we had ordered. However, the food and drink are very good.

Terrific little tapas place. The indoor space is small as are the tables creating an intimate atmosphere. We ordered about 6 dishes and they were just the right size for the two of us. Highlights were the bacon wrapped dates and the pimentos de padron. Some of the dishes were a little bland, but don’t goes with a tapas experience. Service was in the traditional Spanish style, meaning dishes arrived when they arrived. Definitely need a reservation.

If you want Spain in Schwabing, you've come to the right place. When I came back from Seville, I really missed this Spanish flair and original Spanish tapas. We wanted to try this tapas bar because of the many positive reviews and were unfortunately very disappointed. There was only one employee for the service, which meant some waiting times, but they were still within limits. Tables are much too small, everything is very narrow, uncomfortable and overall too cold for us (due to the open window). We decided on various tapas, which were then literally piled up on our tiny table. The portions are quite small even for tapas and the taste is absolutely not a highlight, sometimes even really bland. The prawns were the worst I've had in Munich so far and only arrived at the table lukewarm. We would describe the quality of the ingredients as average at best, more like discounters. We find €2.90 for a “bread basket” with just four mini slices of baguette to be outrageous, even for Munich. The pictures posted here have little in common with the food served. The highlight of the whole thing, however, came at the end - when we paid and, despite our actual dissatisfaction, also gave an appropriate tip, the waiter turned around immediately after paying without saying thank you or saying goodbye. We found it very rude. Price performance is not right here at all and the service leaves a lot to be desired. It's a shame about the actually beautiful location. We're definitely not coming anymore.

There is no normal menu, only QR code menus. I just find it ugly and has little style. If I'm going out to dinner with someone, I shouldn't have to pull out my phone. The prices are also too high. You should pay 2.30 euros for a little bread. Likewise the Salsa Rojo which is tiny. 2 tiny Spanish meatballs for almost 9 euros. No, that's just way too expensive. You just don't get enough for the price. The quality of the food is OK but not exceptionally good either.

We were here a couple of months ago and we loved it, and we went this weekend and we were disappointed, it was like it was another place, the tapas are ridiculous and with a lot of decoration to fill them... but they lack flavor... the meatballs are incredibly spicy. and there are only two!!!...the potato omelette looks like a skewer...with a ridiculous amount of aioli...the paella that we loved the other time we were there and recommended to friends...it looked like rice with things...that It wasn't paella. ..the waiting time is also slow, and the service leaves a lot to be desired because they were wrong about a couple of things....the price is very expensive and you leave hungry...frankly we will not return or recommend this place

We actually wanted to spend a nice evening there and celebrate our birthday, but that was probably nothing. At first there were fewer seats available for us than reserved, which is difficult given the relatively small tables - the tapas have to go somewhere. Then it was so cold in the restaurant that all the guests kept their jackets on. When I asked if the heating had failed, the only answer I got was: No, that's because of the ventilation for the kitchen. The service was generally a disaster and the unfriendly thing I've experienced in a long time. The taste of the food was mediocre, considering the portion sizes and the fact that the sangria consists almost entirely of ice (which we wouldn't have needed in this refrigerator), the price-performance ratio is rather steep.

Unfortunately we were very disappointed with this tapas restaurant. It was very cold in the restaurant and the staff was extremely unfriendly. We would have liked to use a voucher book voucher that was not recognized even though it has been valid since January 1st, 2024 and there was 0.0 responsiveness. Beim ersten Besuch waren wir noch sehr begeistert vom Service wie auch vom Essen. Bei unserem zweiten Besuch kam es gar nicht erst zum Essen, weil der Service derart unfreundlich und abweisend war, dass wir wieder gegangen sind. Das Restaurant war nicht mal zu einem Viertel belegt. Wir hatten telefonisch einen bestimmten Tisch reserviert, der uns auch zugesagt wurde. Dieser war leider belegt, wurde jedoch rasch frei allerdings dann von anderen Gästen belegt, die sich mit dem Personal sehr angeregt auf Spanisch unterhielten. Sowohl beim Betreten des Restaurants als auch beim Freiwerdenden des Tisches hatte ich um den reservierten Tisch gebeten, die Anfrage wurde nicht weiter beantwortet, die Bedienung hat sich ohne Kommentar anderen Gästen/Aufgaben gewidmet. Nachdem wir aber auch schon eine halbe Stunde ohne konkrete Bedienung oder Begrüßung am Tisch saßen, sind wir dann unverrichteter Dinge gegangen. Auch dies wurde mit Ignoranz quittiert bzw ohne ein Grußwort oder nachfragen. Sehr schade, da es einfach mal eine andere Art von Restaurant und Speisen ist aber mit dieser Erfahrung leider keine weiteren Besuche von uns Dem Restaurant weiterhin viel Erfolg mit seinem Konzept

Muy buen pisco y bebidas en general

Ich finde die Tapasbar ganz gut. Nicht herausragend, deshalb auch keine 5 Sterne aber auf einem guten Niveau. Das Essen war überwiegend lecker, das ich bestellt hatte, jedoch teilweise zu fettig für meinen Geschmack und das Preis-Leistungsverhält nis hat teilweise nicht gestimmt. Gerade bei den günstigeren Produkten, wie Bratpaprika etc. Aber den Service fand ich sehr aufmerksam und höflich. Von daher komme ich gerne wieder, auch wenn ich finde, dass man beim Essen noch etwas Luft nach oben hat. Aber das Konzept der Tapasbar mit dem passenden Personal sind für mich super stimmig.

Eine kleine aber sehr feine Tapasbar mit leckeren Gerichten und tollem Service.

Hemos descubierto este lugar y nos ha sorprendido, las tapas exquisitas, originales y diferentes a los restaurantes españoles de Munich. Recomiendo las croquetas de gambas al ajillo y las berenjenas rellenas con miel de caña. Servicio super amable y un ambiente acogedor, recomiendo 100%, volveremos.

Mio hat uns den heutigen Abend gerettet. Etwas enttäuscht von einer anderen Reservierung wurde für uns, im gefüllten Lokal, doch noch Platz geschaffen, gemütlich dazu. Der Campari Sprizz genau richtig gemischt, das Essen qualitativ gut, nicht überwürzt. Die Variation an Tapas war sehr gelungen, die Portionen für Tapas genau richtig, das Nachbestellen funktioniert schnell und reibungslos. Flott, freundlich, patent.

A nice and cosy tapas restaurant near Münchner Freiheit, lots to try out, no outstanding food experience for me though.

wunderbare tapas, besser als alles im spanienurlaub letztes jahr. aufmerksamer, lockerer service.

Wir waren heute zum 1. Mal im Mio und waren echt enttäuscht. Die Chipirones waren keine kleinen frittierten Tintenfische, wie wir sie schon 100x gegessen haben, sondern 3 Babycalamares, lecker aber dafür überteuert. Der Rosato Spritz wurde in einem Miniglas serviert mit 80% Eis gefüllt und dementsprechend dünn und teuer. Die Gambas waren sehr lecker und ok, was die Menge betraf. Aioli macht ja jeder anders. Die Mio Version ist mittelmäßig. Der Service war schlecht, es wurde immer von links bedient- an einem vorbei, das Besteck wurde komplett vergessen und wir müssen es nachfordern und das dann in Englisch, da der Kollege kein Deutsch verstand und auch mein schlechtes Spanisch nicht half. Insgesamt zu teuer mit mangelhaften Service.

Wir waren ein wenig enttäuscht. Der Service war okay aber nicht gerade „überschwänglich“ und es dauerte oft lange bis man beachtet wurde. Die Qualität des Essens war mittelmäßig und es waren meiner Meinung nach „alte“ Sachen untergemischt (z.B. aufgewärmte Kartoffeln vom Vortag) und das Brot war so vertrocknet und hart dass man es nicht essen konnte. Beim Besuch der Toiletten konnte man einen Blick in die Küche werfen und das war eher unappetitlich. So hat der Koch beispielsweise Tapas mit der bloßen Hand in die Schale geklatscht. Das sonstige Ambiente war jedoch angenehm. Empfehlen würde ich diese Tapas Bar nicht.

Der Service war außergewöhnlich freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.
