Volkart - Bar de tapas in München

Ich kenne das Volkart schon viele Jahre mit gelegentlichen Besuchen. Es gibt keinen schöneren Ort als hier einen Tisch mitten in der Hofeinfahrt im Sommer zu bekommen. Ein schönes Stadtambiente, bunte Tische, schöne Gerichte und feine Getränke. Auch innen ein schönes Erlebnis mit Stierkampf Plakaten und Spanienfeeling. modern und schlicht. Ich denke der Besitzer hat gewechselt, bin mir aber nicht sicher, früher wurde eher in kleinen Schälchen serviert, da war schnell mit Tapas der komplette Tisch voll, heute baut man in die Höhe ... Etageren, weiße Teller und die selben typischen Verdächtigen einer Tapas Küche. So auch an unserem Tisch. Grüne Pimentos - gebacken, Gazpacho Andaluz, Geárnelen und natürlich Batata Bravas. geschmorter Ochsenschwanz und eine Ziegenrolle abgeflammt mit roter Süßkartoffel. Mit gefiel es nicht so sehr, das diese Ziegenrolle aus Frischkäse bestand, dadurch war es eine Staubtrockene Angelegenheit, aus der man sich nur mit ausreichend Wasser retten konnte. Aber was Sollz. Ich hatte einen Platz mit Blick in die Küche und war echt beeindruckt von der Kochjacke des Kitchenheros mit gemalten Tintenfischtenrtakeln auf dem Rücken. Der Service ist sehr aufmerksam, empfiehlt auch am Anfang nicht zu viel zu bestellen, sondern nach und nach. Diese ehrliche Beratung und die freundliche und höfliche Gastgeber Art von dem jungen Chef und seiner Servicekraft machten insgesamt eine sehr guten Eindruck. Ich bedanke mich für den schönen Abend und schau mal wieder rein, wenn ich in der Nähe bin. Immer wieder gerne. 5 Sterne :)

Hervorragender Service, freundliches Personal, wirklich authentisches Essen. Die Speisekarte wechselt wöchentlich je nach Saison und Verfügbarkeit. Die Weine und Biere sind sorgfältig ausgewählt und von guter Qualität. In unmittelbarer Nähe zur U-Bahn!

Leider kein besonderes Erlebnis. Es gibt in der Stadt deutlich bessere Tapas, vor allem mit Blick auf die Preise: knapp 14 € für eine Spargel-Tapa mit drei Stangen und zwei Köpfen ist sportlich. Der Besitzer ist freundlich und bemüht, wirkt aber etwas eingebildet. Auf die Bemerkung, man hätte gerne pimientos de padron, kam die Antwort es gäbe “Touristen-Tapas“ hier nur mittwochs. Besonders unangenehm: Auf meine Frage, ob ein Käse pasteurisiert sei, kam die dreiste Gegenfrage, ob ich schwanger wäre. Wenn man mit Bekannten am Tisch sitzt, denen man eine Schwangerschaft noch nicht verkündet hat, ist das ziemlich übergriffig. Dazu die Aussage, er habe die Karte extra für Schwangere angepasst, weil er solche Fragen zu genüge bekäme. Umso absurder dann der Nachtisch: Unsere eigentliche Wahl war nicht verfügbar, also schlug er uns eine Alternative vor. Da wir nicht wussten was drin war und nachfragten erfuhren wir erst nach drei Löffeln, dass die Soße aus Cherry Likör war. Soviel zu der angeblich auf Schwangere abgestimmten Karte und dem vorherigen Gespräch. Am Tisch zog es zudem unangenehm und es war kalt. Die Tapas selbst waren mittelmäßig, die Portionen kleiner als in manchen Bewertungen beschrieben. Loben kann ich nur den süßen, gut erzogenen Hund des Besitzers, der eine echte Bereicherung fürs Restaurant ist.

Wundervolles Essen, engagierter Chef, schon zum draußen sitzen besonders am Abend. Sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder 😎

Was für ein wundervoller Ort! Wir wurden vom Inhaber Daniel persönlich begrüßt und fühlten uns sofort herzlich willkommen. Das hausgemachte Essen war hervorragend, und Daniel und seine Frau kümmerten sich den ganzen Abend über bestens um uns. Ich kann dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen und komme ganz bestimmt wieder!

Liebes Team, lieber Daniel, liebe Mina, es ist immer wieder eine Freude bei euch zu verweilen! Das neue Konzept mit der Karte finde ich top! Super leckeres Essen und tolle Weine! Extrem netter Tapas Laden mit sehr freundlichem Service. Definitiv eines meiner Lieblings Lokale in Neuhausen.

Hier wird Gastfreundschaft groß geschrieben. Wir sind öfters hier, ob zu zweit oder in der Gruppe, es ist immer ein Vergnügen. Die Tapas sind sehr lecker, der Service immer freundlich, die Stimmung locker und entspannt. Wer einen schönen Abend mit gutem Essen und Wein verbringen möchte, ist hier bestens aufgehoben.

Unser Besuch im VolkArt war traumhaft 🥰. Der Besitzer nimmt sich Zeit für ein Pläuschchen. Wir wurden sehr nett bedient. Das Essen, ein Traum 💕. Tapas Bar in schick, trotzdem sehr gemütlich und angenehm, Wirt sehr freundlich und um das Wohlbefinden der Gäste bemüht. Karte klein dafür sehr fein, Essen und Wein exzellent, Service perfekt.

Insgesamt ein super Lokal mit einer absolut authentischen Küche. Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Für meinen Geschmack etwas zu laut. Die Preise sind nicht gerade günstig. Grundsätzlich aber sehr empfehlenswert.

Wenn es noch mehr Sterne gäbe würde ich die auch vergeben. Ein super tolles Lokal, super super leckeres Essen und vor allem mit derart außergewöhnlich tollen, herzlichen und zuvorkommendem Service! Es war ein toller Abend und wir kommen auf jeden fall wieder. Ganz herzlichen Dank!!!!

Excellent little Spanish restaurant! I especially liked that they take time to sit with you to explain and give detailed recommendations on what order for diners llike me who are unfamiliar with Spanish cuisine. And of course, the food itself was great. Loved it, 10/10 will visit again!

VolkArt in Neuhasen is a hybrid of a tapas bar and a Spanish restaurant. The tapas taste good and are relatively generously sized. The ceviche (raw marinated fish) and the sirloin steak on a skewer were very good. Well-seasoned and tender. Of the main courses, I've tried the paella so far and was quite impressed. Succulent, with plenty of filling, and flavorful. What's absolutely unacceptable, however, is missing a reservation. The quickly prepared high table right next to the restroom entrance is unfortunately not large enough. We decided to eat across the street instead. This was probably the last time we tried to visit VolkArt for a while.

I went to VolkArts in Neuhausen with three colleagues. We were absolutely thrilled with the tapas and the service. A fantastic, welcoming, and highly recommended tapas restaurant. We were greeted warmly as soon as we entered. The food was wonderful and beautifully presented. It was a feast for the eyes, too. What also pleased me, as a dog owner, was that a bowl of water was immediately brought to us. This certainly won't be our last visit to Volkarts. We've already booked our next appointment.

I love that place, especially because it’s so easy to come by and find a place on the terrace while it’s typically crowded every else where in Munich. The tapas are really qualitative. I recommend this place for any group events, family/Friends gathering, or simple afterwork to enjoy drinks and food over a good talk. Alone is also a nice Place to enjoy solo time with food and drink. The staff is also really friendly.

I can't understand some of the negative reviews here at all – we had a great evening, including fast, friendly service and delicious tapas. The waiter knew exactly what each dish was about and was able to make good recommendations. Prices are typical for Munich, and of course the place gets packed in the evenings, but that's just how it is in Neuhausen. It's also ridiculous that people give this place three stars because they couldn't find a parking space. We would definitely come back!

I didn't know I could eat such delicious tapas in Munich! The atmosphere, taste, and service were all the best, and this is by far the best tapas place I've ever been to. I made a reservation right when they opened, but they were all full right away. Reservations are a must. Everything was delicious, but I didn't take any pictures, but the gambas in particular were incredible. It's even better than Spain! I can't stop thinking about it after I get back, and it's such a shame to share it with several people, so next time I'll definitely go and eat one gambas!

I really enjoyed the tapas - I was particularly impressed by the creative arrangement, for example served as a small tower, which was a real eye-catcher. We sat outside and enjoyed the food in a pleasant atmosphere. I also found it nice that the restaurant is rather small and manageable - that creates a relaxed atmosphere. The potato cake was surprisingly tasty and a nice change. Overall, definitely not a wrong address – I would like to come here again.

At the owner's recommendation, I really enjoyed the grilled marlin, which was not on the menu. They are friendly and the atmosphere is great! Estrella draft beer too 👍 I will visit again on the terrace when it gets warmer ☺️

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere that I liked. However, the music was too loud, which made the conversation quite stressful. The service was attentive and friendly - there is nothing to complain about here. We tried four tapas, which were okay overall. The goat cheese on beetroot was unfortunately served cold, the papas arrugadas were disappointing as the typical salt crust was missing. The tortilla de patatas was solid but nothing special. The portions were very large - although I would have liked smaller portions so that I could try more different dishes. We paid €64 for two people. The greeting from the kitchen was a nice gesture. Overall, not a restaurant I would return to again.

Unfortunately, the food was relatively tasteless, for example the Pimientos al padrón had far too little salt. Service is good and courteous, ambience ok, a bit cool, inappropriate for warm Spain.

The best Tacos in Munich! The barbacoa and Carnitas Tacos are amazing, plus there’s also Mexican beer 😊 Would only recommend going there.

An excellent restaurant, so many great options on the tapas menu and our waiter talked us through how many to order. Make sure you save room for dessert which is on a separate menu!

Can no longer be compared with the old Volkarts. Verdura a la plancha is totally overcooked, there used to be a fine mint sauce with it, now everything is swimming in olive oil. Papas Arugadas partly rock hard, mediocre salt crust, Mojo rojo et verde quite good. Service messed up and not experienced in gastronomy. But prices at Munich level.

One point deducted for the ambience. It was a rainy day so unfortunately we couldn't sit outside. It was so loud inside that the three of us couldn't talk. Sound insulation on the ceiling would certainly bring a noticeable improvement here. Otherwise: Tutti paletti! 👍🏻😃

Definitely recommended if you want to feel the Korean spirit in Germany. The owner, staff, and service are second to none in Munich. Not only is it friendly, but it also tastes the best. No need for explanation. I will definitely visit again when I come to Munich. This is a store that only I want to know about, but the review says that the owner is a hit. And since it is a local restaurant with no tourists, reservations are required.

A cozy restaurant with very good Spanish food

The food was ok but expensive. It is very loud in the restaurant, making it difficult to have a conversation. The service was very disappointing. First an order was forgotten, and then after paying we were offered a nightcap, which we then had to pay for. We certainly won't be coming back.

Great food! Spanish Tortilla is the best one that I’ve had in my life. We also order a vegetarian paella, which is as tasty as the typical seafood one.

The food is fantastic! The restaurant made us vegetarian paella (which is not on the menu) and it tastes awesome! The service is supreme, warm and made us feel like home. I was amazed by the tortilla, it’s moist, flavorful, and goes really well with the sause. Definitely visiting again!

Fresh food, friendly service, cosy atmosphere.

Das Essen war sehr lecker und der Service war zunächst sehr freundlich und ziemlich aufmerksam. Bei der Bezahlung hat die Bedienung uns gefragt, in welcher Sprache, außer deutsch, wir (vier Personen) uns unterhalten hatten. Wir haben geantwortet, dass es ukrainisch war, worauf hin er ein paar Worte auf Russisch gesagt hat. Ich habe dann zu ihm gesagt, dass es gerade nicht gut ankommt (russisch ins Spiel zu bringen). Es ist aus der Situation ein ziemliches Missverständnis geworden, was nicht notwendig war. Ich habe mich zwar entschuldigt, dass ich hier eventuell zu flapsig bzw. zu schnell reagiert habe, gleichzeitig wurden wir angesprochen, und das Kommentar war auch sehr flapsig und unsensibel. Zum Schluss hat der Inhaber die Lage eskaliert und gedroht, dass wir gehen müssen, wenn ich mich nicht entschuldige (was ich für meinen Part ohnehin vor hatte). Von seiner Seite oder seitens des Inhabers kam aber keine Entschuldigung zurück. Es waren sehr gemixte Gefühle am Ende. Gut, dass München auch andere gute Tapas Bars hat.

Gutes, nicht ganz günstiges Restaurant. Personal authentisch und sehr nett, man wird gut umsorgt, ohne dass es aufdringlich ist. Die Tapas sind sehr groß, 2-3 pro Person reichen absolut. Die Qualität ist sehr gut. Mir persönlich wären kleinere, aber dafür mehr Tapas lieber, aber wenn man >2 Personen ist, kann man sich ja auch mehrere teilen.

Nettes Personal und gutes Essen. Wir waren eine größere Runde, das Essen kam aber dennoch schnell obwohl der Laden auch sonst voll war. Was ich sehr schade fand war das niemand an unseren Tisch ein Etagere bekommen hat. Rundherum wurde das Essen an den anderen Tischen darauf serviert was ziemlich Platz spart, vor allem bei einer großen Runde.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Abend mit fantastischem Essen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist, dass Service und Küche uns sehr gut zu Glutenfreien Speisen beraten haben und sich mit Allergenen äußerst gut auskannten sowie sich sehr bemüht haben! Sehr weiterzuempfehlen für alle, die Glutenfrei essen müssen! - TOP

Wir sind spontan während eines Spaziergangs hier eingekehrt. Nachdem im Außenbereich alle Plätze besetzt waren, haben wir uns in den Innenbereich gesetzt. Das Ambiente ist sehr einfach gehalten und ist in unseren Augen wenig ansprechend. Die Musik war so laut, dass man sich kaum unterhalten konnte. Der Service war freundlich und flott. Der Wein und der Cocktail waren in Ordnung. Die Tapas haben uns wenig überzeugt, da diese ziemlich geschmacksneutral zubereitet wurden. Die Aioli welche zu den einzelnen Tapas gereicht wurde war immer die Gleiche!-sehr einfallslos. Das kennen wir aus vielen Spanienurlauben anders.

Kleines Update: waren nochmal dort und der Käse mit roter Beete für 10,90€ ist übertrieben teuer, für nur drei kleine Scheibchen! Ärgerlich. Sehr lecker! Für 3 Personen mit einem Liter Sangria haben wir 75€ gezahlt. Wir haben 5 Tapas bestellt und geteilt. Service gut. Draußen nette Sitzplätze im Sommer.
